  • Error when connecting to form builder

When I try to connect to form builder ,I get this error message ,
ORA-12154:TNS: could not resolve service name
    What is it?

Try connecting through SQLPLUS first and check if the connection is going through fine. Check if the service name your are trying to connect with is defined in the TNSNAMES.ORA file. If it is not present create the service name. Also mention the versions of Oracle DB and the Forms.

  • Get an error in save.cpp at line 1477 during application build

The build failed running on a NT machine but worked on a 98 machine.

This error is not listed on the web. What version of LabVIEW are you using? Can you build any executable? What happens if you try to build on the 98 machine again? Is the VI working properly on the NT box? Are you using special hardware or software?
Reinstalling LabVIEW on the NT box is a good troubleshooting step.

  • Created a Form in Adobe Acrobat XI and save that form as "Standard" PDF

I created a Form with Adobe Acrobat XI and now I want to add a button for save that form as "Standard" PDF with Java Script or other suitable way. Please help me.
    Thank You.

Forms are entirely standard. What do you mean by "standard" in this case. Do you mean "not a form, so that the bits filled in are just permanent parts of the PDF like the other stuff"?

  • Create an XML of complex XSD

We have to create an XML file of complex XSD. So we have multiple datastores created in the Model. As far as i have searched, we need to create interfaces for each datastore and create the XML file using the procedure. Is there any way to create the XML file without so many interfaces??

An XML document may be generated from an XML Schema
    with the following methods.
    1. Bind XML Schema to Java classes with JAX-B
compiler n JDeveloper or with JAXB class generator.
Marshall Java classes to XML document.
    http://www.oracle.com/webapps/online-help/jdeveloper/1
    0.1.3/state?navSetId=_&navId=4&vtTopicFile=working_wit
    h_xml/xml_pjaxb.html&vtTopicId=
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/notes/technote_ja
    xb.html
    2. Create an XML document instance from a XML Schema
in JDeveloper.the first mothod is good, but is a not-dinamic method.
I must write a Swing Application that from a "general" XmlSchema generate a empty or no empty XML file, but with this metod a must adjust the java source every time! no???
    for example:
    ObjectFactory factory=new ObjectFactory();
    CatalogImpl catalog=(CatalogImpl)(factory.createCatalog());
    marshaller.marshal(catalog, new FileOutputStream(xmlDocument));
in this example for each XMLSchema i must change the name of the type CatalogImpl!!
there`s a genral method to do this?

  • Open a form with space on the path with form builder from a batch

    Hi,
I cannot open a form from a batch on Windows if the absolute path contains spaces.
For example, if I try to open a form in "C:\" from cmd with C:\ORANT\bin\ifbld60.exe C:\Form.fmb, I have no problem, if I try to open a form in "C:\Documents and Settings" with C:\ORANT\bin\ifbld60.exe "C:\Documents and Settings\Form.fmb" or C:\ORANT\bin\ifbld60.exe C:\Documents and Settings\Form.fmb, I have some dialog with info and the error FRM-90927 and form builder doesn't start.
    Thank you,

Why is that you want to open a FMB in Form Builder with a Batch file?
Is it that your application has only one FMB and that you work with only one FMB all the time?
    Cheers,
PS: And if you must open the FMB through a batch file then look up the Form Builder Help for "Command Line options". It is an excellent resource.

  • Form builder in UCM

    Hi,
We are looking for a usefull form builder i UCM/Stellent.
We need to be able to capture form data easily.
I have tried the web form builder it works, but it has to integrate with my web application. I have tried with an iframe but when i go into contribution mode the webform is all over the screeen.
How does others capture form data in UCM/stellent, so that it integrates into a normal web-application?
    regards
    Johnny

As I mentioned in my previous post, I'm not sure if there is a config param where you can modify it. Therefore, the only way that remains is a custom component.
If you are familiar with building (intradoc) custom components, you will need to identify which include and/or result set contains the displayed fields and remove it from there. It will require a bit reverse engineering (or alternatively, you will have to find somebody who possesses this info), but it's not complicated. In fact, the process is well described in this book http://www.amazon.com/Definitive-Stellent-Content-Server-Development/dp/1590596846 , chapter 9. It's a bit too long to be described in the forum.
Btw. if there is a way to configure the param, you will find it during the reverse engineering.

  • Error writing output with iview for xml form builder

    Hi,
I created a Xml Form Builder's project in which I developed an "Edit" and "ListEdit" sheet.
I also created an iview for theese in which the code link is:"com.sap.km.cm.xmlform",and the field for Style Sheet for List and for single item are set up correctly, but when I tried the preview the following error message happened:
com.inqmy.lib.xsl.xslt.XSLOutputException: Error writing output. -> org.w3c.dom.DOMException: Root Element is already present, cannot be appended as a child.
    could someone help me?
    thank's a lot!
    Nick.

    Hi,
Now I'm confused, what do you mean with create new data? Are users editing existing documents
(as if they go to a document example.xml > edit) or they are creating new documents (as if they go
on folder > new > forms)?
The problem is, in both cases a user would need read/write permissions.
The normal flow content (data) is created in KM is as follows:
    1. user is assigned to a role
    2. role contains KM Navigation iView
    3. KM Navigation iView executes com.sap.km.cm.navigation component
    4. user chooses New > Form UI command (edit_xml_forms)
    5. edit_xml_forms UI command executes its code (com.sapportals.wcm.rendering.uicommand.cm.UIXMLFormsCreateCommand) and open xml edit for the user
    6. user fill the form and click Save, form is created into folder
For what I understood so far, your requirement basically asks you to go directly to step 5, it is
possible to pass a URL that goes directly to step 5, the UI command button, but if you do that
you won't have a context, so chances that it will work are slim, since a context is required to
fill the parameters asked by the app (like folder, user, permissions, etc). Even though, in some cases you can
still pass the parameters via post in the URL but you must know which service/parameters the
app asks for it, also a URL is static...
That was the create scenario, I think it's more cons than pros, users would still be
able to bypass the URL iView created for that, I'd suggest evaluating again if it's really
a problem having users access cm to manage data
    kind regards,

  • Error while creating task: The server was unable to save the form at this time. Please try again. (SharePoint 2013)

I get the following error while saving a task inside task list:
"The server was unable to save the form at this time. Please try again."
I tried restarting "search service host controller".
The server has 8 GB RAM and according to task manager, 6.67 GB is being used.
I logged into the site with user which is the owner of the site. I tried creating tasks from client as well as the SharePoint server itself. Same error is shown in both the cases.
How do I find information on the exact problem that is causing the error? What are possible solutions?

    Hi robikshrestha,
This error message often shows when there is low memory that can be used, the workaround restart the “SharePoint Search Hosting Controller” service is to release some memory, and make it work. Whether restart the service release memory
    in your situation?
Would you please check whether this issue happens all the time in task list, or happens sometimes when the memory is lower to use. If it doesn’t have a large impact, you can restart the server, check the result. have a look at the event
log and ULS log, see whether there is related information.
If it happens all the time, would you please use other browsers, whether the results are same? This may be caused by some add-ons in IE, like Free Download Manager I have seen.
    Thanks,

  • I created a form for our band parents to fill out.  How are they able to save the forms as pdfs?

I created a form for our band parents to fill out.  How are they able to save the forms as pdfs and be able to go back and view them?  I see the Save Submission-Enabled PDF on the Distribution page but there is no option when they go in to the first page of the form to save.
Thank you very much for your help.

If you are distributing a PDF using the save submission enabled pdf option, then respondents can save it using the Adobe Reader. They save it just like any other file - File menu -> save (or save icon on toolbar).
