Error in archive directory FW_WRT54Gv8.2_8.2.08.001_US_20091005.bin

I looked around and could not see an answer for this yet.  have a Wireless-G BroadBand Router (WRT54G) ver7.2 running on windows xp pro sp2. I tried to upgrade from http://192.168.1.1/Upgrade.htm in explore but it says it fails. Any help? I want to see if it can see theusage from the other 4 devices that it is connected to. I thought I say the the new version firmware can do this.

1. You cannot flash firmware for a WRT54Gv8.2 on a WRT54Gv7.2. You always must choose the correct hardware version you have. Never try to flash a firmware file for a different hardware version. In your case you are lucky because the upgrade does not accept the wrong firmware file. In the worst case you could damage your router.
2. You cannot see the bandwidth usage with any firmware version.

    The archive directory exists.
    any idea?

    Hi Silvia,
    Check whether the user you are using for FTPing is having proper authorizations.
    Also, verify whether you have the archive directory in place.

  • Error Deleting/Archiving processed files

    Hi all,
    I'm working with a File (xml) to Idoc scenario. I have configured Sender File Channel to read files and after that deleting . SAP XI can read the files (xml files) and send to my SAP R/3 system but I in communication channel monitoring I get a message "Could not delete file 'p:.xml' after processing".
    I have tried with archiving and I get a similar error, but in this case it makes the archiving twice (I get 2 files in the archiving directory) and it doesn´t delete the original file from the reading directory, so SAP XI is ever reading and archiving.
    Does anyone know any solution?
    Thanks.
    Antonio.

    Hi Antonio,
    can you check if those files have <b>read only</b> attributes?
    if so you cannot delete them from the directory ? (or archive )

  • Error While Archiving

    Hi All
    I am getting an error of  "All available file names are already being used " while archiving the ODS.
    On other side when i search for the same available files i did not get that. So i want to know where i can look for the available files?
    Also when i manage the ODS and go to Archiving Tab the status is still yellow where as when i go to check the Job status in SARA it shows me the  cancelled job. Can anybody tell me that what may be the problem is??
    Thanks & Regards
    Neha

    Hi,
          Check the definition of File Name, if it not defined as per the SAP recommendations, at runtime u will get this type of error. In the definition of File Name, the parameter II is alpha numeric, if it reaches the maximum combinations, then the system tries to create from starting but already archive files with same names are exists in the specified archive directory, this results the error what u got.
    So, check once the definition of the archive file name. The SAP recommended, naming convention for the logical file is listed below:
    Defining Logical File Names:
    The following parameters are of particular interest here:
    ¡ PARAM_1: Two-character application abbreviation (for example, HR, CO, MM) for the classification of the archive files in the system. The value of the definition is determined from the relevant archiving object at runtime.
    ¡ PARAM_2: Single-character alphanumerical code (0-9, A-Z). If, when creating a new archive file, an existing file with an identical physical name would result in a conflict, the ADK increases this value by 1. This value must, therefore, always be a part of the physical name.
    ¡ PARAM_3: This parameter is filled at runtime with the name of the archiving object. In archive management, this enables you to check the file contents or to store the archive files by archiving objects.
    To enable maximum space in the name range for the archive file, the following entry is recommended:
    .ARCHIVE
    In the Logical Path field, you assign the previously defined logical path name to the current logical file names. You can assign a logical path name to several file names.
    To display the path name and file name definitions and their specifications for the relevant syntax groups, go to transaction SF07.

    Rahul.

  • Reg:File adapter archive Directory

    Dear team,
    Our requirement is to read a csv file from a directory and archive the file in archive folder specified in the file adapter.
    If any exception is caught,then we need to read the archieve file from archive directory rename the archive file with source file name and place it in source directory.
    On the receive activity we are able to get the source file name and source file directory.
    <receive name="Receive1" createInstance="yes"
    variable="Receive1_Read_InputVariable" partnerLink="fileRead"
    portType="ns1:Read_ptt" operation="Read">
    <bpelx:property name="jca.file.FileName" variable="srcFileName"/>
    <bpelx:property name="jca.file.Directory" variable="srcDrFolder"/>
    How to get the archive file name and archive file directory from the receive activity so that we can store in local variables.
    Pls do help.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Another way you can accomplish your scenario. Instead of deleting or archiving in beginning just move the file from inbound to archive location after business flow completion.
    In case of error, the file will remain at original position as moving operation is at the end.
    First read the file using read operation, then at the end create a file adapter with sync read operation. Change the entries in .jca generated with below sample.
    Sample jca file.
    <endpoint-interaction portType="SynchRead_ptt" operation="SynchRead">
    <interaction-spec className="oracle.tip.adapter.file.outbound.FileIoInteractionSpec">
    <!-- Below properties are dummy except Type , it will be changed in runtime -->
    <property name="SourcePhysicalDirectory"
    value="srcdir"/>
    <property name="SourceFileName" value="abc.txt"/>
    <property name="TargetPhysicalDirectory"
    value="targetdir"/>
    <property name="TargetFileName" value="abc.txt"/>
    <property name="Type" value="MOVE"/>
    </interaction-spec>
    Then,in you bpel flow at the invoke for sync read add these two properties.
    <bpelx:inputProperty name="jca.file.SourceFileName"
    variable="varInputFileName"/>
    <bpelx:inputProperty name="jca.file.TargetFileName"
    variable="varArchiveFileName"/>
    <bpelx:inputProperty name="jca.file.SourceDirectory"
    variable="varInputDirectory"/>
    <bpelx:inputProperty name="jca.file.TargetDirectory"
    variable="varArchiveDirectory"/>

  • Error with Archiving Faulty Source File in Sender FTP adapter

    Hi All,
    I have configured a Sender FTP adapter with Processing Mode as Archive.
    I am able to read the files from FTP server and archive all the successfuly processed file in the PI aplication server directory XXX/success.
    We need all the error files also to be archived on PI application server in directory XXXXX/Fail so I have checked the option Archive faulty Source Files and provided the application directory  XXXXX/Fail .
    I have unchecked the option Archive Files on FTP server.
    But the problem is when FTP adapter is getting any error files it is not able to archive it to application directory  XXXXX/Fail .
    In RWB it is showing the error
    Unable to archive faulty input file /data/abc.txt to /XXXX/fail/abc.txt
    Cause: com.sap.aii.adapter.file.ftp.FTPEx: 550 rename: No such file or directory
    This directory is existing and works fine when I give this directory name in Archive directory of processing mode.
    Sender FTP adapter is trying to archive the file in FTP server which I dont want and giving us this error.
    If I give any Directory which is present in FTP server my error files are getting archived on FTP server but not in the archived folder.
    I have already unchecked the option Archive Files on FTP server.
    Please help......
    I am on PI 7.11

    Hi Henery,
    Check the below thread, this should help you to fix the issue.

  • Relation between DB Collector and Archive Directory

    If archive directory could not be read, this would cause DB Collector error. Why so?
    And in what condition will cause the archive directory to be not readable?
    Thank you.

    OS process "saposcol" is responsible to read this irectory.
    if this does not work, this means that:
    1. saposcol is broken
    2. saposcol had problems with shared memory
    3. saposcol has wrong permissions set
    4. archive directory has wrong permissions

  • Archive directory on overload

    Hi,
    I've configured a Sender File Adapter.
    It archives messages and adds a timestamp.
    Files are succesfully put on the integration engine and archived.
    However the files are not moved from the input directory, but are only copied
    So the files stay in the input directory. They are not processed again into the integration engine, BUT the archiving doesnt stop. It just keeps archiving the same file again and again.
    Because of the timestamp this means that we have a new file each time.
    This causes an overload on the archive share (file of 2 kb produced 16 gigabyte on archive)
    Is this a setting of the adapter that i have to change or does it mean that the pi-user who does the moving and archiving does not have sufficient rights on the directory?
    Thx
    Robert

    Hi
    In usual case if you give processing mode as Archive the files will be moved from source to Archive directory.
    And also are you getting any error in the Channel?
    But in your case if this is not happening then please check the User ID which you are using in the file channel if it has the access to
    delete the file once its processed.to check this login with that ID  to the FTP and check if you are able to delete.
    If nothing works , i think you can have a batch job to clear the source folder.

  • Archive directory user rights?

    Hi all: I recently migrated our GW2014 SP1 server over to new hardware. The migration went smooth and our domain and postoffice seem happy. My users are reporting an 8201 error when starting up their client and I have traced it to a user rights issue with our archive folder on the server. I have given full rights to everyone as a temp measure, but I want to get the proper rights set up. BTW, the archive directory is on an NSS volume.
    So, what are the proper user rights to the archive directory? Thanks much, Chris.

    Hi Chris,
    They need Read, Write, File Scan, Create, Erase, Modify, Delete - all except Access Control and Supervisor.
    Hope that helps.
    Cheers,

  • Error Removing Archive

    I just tried to import the archive file found in this example:
    http://eslifeline.files.wordpress.com/2008/05/renderservicefinal.pdf
    In Archive Management (adminui) when I click on the archive, three resources/objects are displayed. If I click on any to configure, I receive the error:
    ALC-DSC-013-000:
    com.adobe.idp.dsc.registry.ServiceConfigurationNotFoundException:
    Service Configuration : Manager Gets Time Off Request version: 1.0 not
    found
    So I tried instead to just kill the archive, but now I'm receiving the message "Error removing archive: Error removing archive: 'Service Configuration : Manager Gets Time Off Request version: 1.0 not found".
    How can I just get rid of it entirely? Thank you

    We have been having this problem for quite some time across multiple versions with no resolution from 'platinum' support. You have to either create the file with permissions so that LiveCycle cannot delete or get into the screen (Application Management in ES2). If you have more than one missing file, the first option would be easier.
    The problems with GDS were causing us problems trying to upgrade to ES2. He finally got it escalated to someone who knew what he was talking about. He identified that the file that keeps going missing is related to LaunchPad. Per his instructions to be able to get into the Application Management screen in adminui, we created a blank version of the file in question. A second file of the same name, but with the extension .expiresOn [some number I assume is a serialized date/time] appeared shortly thereafter. Once in the Application management screen, I removed the LaunchPad app then imported from an lca i got off the server. Several more files of the same name appeared in the directory with high numbers. I could then go into the Application Management screen without error. I went to lunch, came back. The files are gone, the error is back. The server was sitting idle. No backups or purges were run. Support wants our backup scripts because they insistant that there is where the problem lies. Even if the files were being deleted overnight, I don't even see how that is possible since a bad backup would result in a bad restore later. I don't see how a bad backup would delete data. Since this is a different SR number than the upgrade one, it is not escalated.

    yeah ,, whatever you  said migbe right
    If I mark Archiveoldfiles option to OFF  what happens ?
    I might be wrong (correct me)

  • Status of archiving directory - Problem in T-Code - DB12

    Hello Gurus,
    in our server while we are run T-code - DB12 it gives us this following error
    - Status of archiving directory - unknown
    Status of SAPOSCOL is in running mode
    in bottom Status Bar  it is given
    Show_directory_fill_status: function call control_perf_failed, return code 13
    Can anybody give me the rectification
    Thanks & Regards
    Shishir

    Hi Shishir,
    Though SAPOSCOL is running, the function call could have failed for several reasons. You could look into SM21 or ST22 for details of its failure.
    The other way to check the status of the archive directory is to go to OS level and check the space for that filesystem.
    cd /oracle/<DBSID>/oraarch
    df .

  • Getting "Error loading archive: Couldnt read datasource" when deploying

    Hi!
    I believe this to be a common problem (i've had the problem with several installations) but i have searched the forums (well, not all) but haven't found any solution yet.
    When I try to deploy an application i get an Exception saying:
    "Fatal Error: Error loading archive: Couldnt read datasource file at file:C:/j2ee/home/application-deployments/simpleapp-app/data-sources.xml: ./data-sources.xml".
    I have found a workaround to the problem, putting a data-sources.xml file into the newly created .../application-deployments/simple-app directory. But this is not a good solution...
    Shouldn't the OC4J read the default $J2EE_HOME/config/data-sources.xml when there is no such file under the application specific directory?
    Can anybody help me with this?
    Regards
    /Stefan Fdgersten

    Hello!
    I use JDeveloper 9i to deploy the application. I don't know how to NOT package the data-sources.xml with the EAR (with jDeveloper). But even if the file is packaged within the EAR, shouldn't it be put to the right place when deployed? Is this a problem with JDev -> OC4J or is it me?

    Hi Tapash
    while deploying a page to mds Repository i m getting the same error that root Directory does not exist but it also says that import completed successfully.
    when i see the same using jdr_utils.listDocuments('xxxx/oracle/apps/ak/server/webui/xxxPG')
    it says printing /xxxx/oracle/apps/ak/server/webui/xxxPG thus page is available in the mds repository and i m able to access the page at run time
    my concern is why i m getting this error
    my import command looks like this
    java oracle.jrad.tools.xml.importer.XMLImporter $JAVA_TOP/xxxx/oracle/apps/ak/server/webui/xxxxPG.xml -jdk13 -mmddir $OA_HTML/jrad -username apps -password apps -rootdir $JAVA_TOP -validate -dbconnection " (DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = xyxyxyxyxy)(PORT = xyxyx)) (CONNECT_DATA = (SID =yyy)))"
