Error in connecting Visual Admin.

Hi all , postong a new therad.
after appying some of the patches we are unable to connect into Visual administrator.The Pop up says:
com.sap.engine.services.security.except
ions.BaseLoginException: Can not
create new Remote LoginCOntext.
Any clue on this :

If you no longer connect to the Visual admin it is better change the password of the user j2ee_admin as mentioned bellow
You have to change the J2EE Engine administrator password in the secure store as follows:
1. Start the Config Tool by executing the /usr/sap/<SID>/<Instance name>/j2ee/configtool/configtool script file.
2. Select secure store.
3. Select the admin/password/<SID> entry.
4. Enter the J2EE Engine administrator user new password in the Value field and choose Add.
5. Choose File -> Apply to save the data.
6. Restart the J2EE Engine

Error while starting Visual Admin

Hi,
I am stuck again at another problem. before installing SAP XI, i was setting configurations in visual admin. As per the guide, i set the initial and maximum connections in the frame server-services-JDBC connector. After setting the configurations, i stopped the JDBC connector service. when i again tried to start, it got stuck.
Now, even after the restart of J2EE instance, Visual Admin is not connecting to the server node and showing exception " Java.lang.NullPointerException".
Is it possible to restore the previous state of Visual Admin?

Did you try going to the Configtool and setting it up. You can locate this by going to /usr/sap/SVA/DVEBMGS00/j2ee/configtool/configtool.bat
This is the place where you can set the parameters etc. and restore J2EE Server

Error access J2EE Visual Admin

I've just completed installing the SAP NetWeaver 04 Sneak Preview. Unfortunately, TREX is not running (or maybe even installed). I've tried to login to the J2EE admin tool to specify the TREX server but I get the following message:
Unable to lookup connection default
http://server:50004/msgserver/test/logon returned empty list of connection parameters.
Port 50004 is the P4 port for the Java install. I've tried port 50000 but get the same message. Does anyone have any idea?

Visual Admin Login

Hello,
We have Netweaver 7.0 ABAP+Java.
I copied used J2EE_ADMIN to J2EE_ADMIN1 in the UME data source client - 400.
User type - Service User
I created a new connection in Visual Admin using Message Server
Entries -
User name : J2EE_ADMIN1
Host: ASMVTOL14 (hostname of server)
HTTP Port: 8101 (message server is on instance 01)
Load Balancing Method: Random
Transport Layer: Default
But when I try to connect using the new connection and user J2E_ADMIN1. It gives me error - User Authentication failed.
However, the password is correct. I am able to log into Client 400 of ABAP using the same credentials.
I checked the Logs(defaulttrace) and there is no error in that.

If the UME database is ABAP System, you cannot modify in the portal as if some restrictions are placed for the same.
You can modify the J2EE_ADMIN1 in the backend system SU01...
As per details for connecting visual admin
User name : J2EE_ADMIN1

HTTP Port: 8101 (message server is on instance 01)
Load Balancing Method: Random
Transport Layer: Default
Please re-check the message server port. and try again

Error while creating RFC Jco provider in visual Admin

Hi,
I have crated a rfc jco provider in visual admin , I have given all the ECC related details both in registered server AND Spcific application server. In both of these I have given R/3 related details like host of ecc and all.
All i have given correct used ID and passowrd also (I am using my own user id and password in this jco rfc provider). that user id is there in ecc with sap all in profile and in roles also i have given 2 roles for that used id, namely sap_bc_jsf_communication AND sap_bc_usr_cua_client_rfc
Still when i try to start it its giving me error: Error starting bundle
please help

Error in creating MSSQL 2005 server Datasource in visual admin

I need to create a datasource in Visual Admin for SQL Server 2005. I have already downloaded the JDBC Driver for SQL server 2005 and while creating the driver in visual admin I specified sqljdbc.jar from the downloaded directory.
Then created the datasource, filling out the following properties:
o Main tab > DataSource Name: fx MyDatasource
o Main tab > Add Alias: fx MyAlias
o Main tab > Driver Name: SQL Server
o Main tab > JDBC version: 2.0 (with XA support)
o Main tab > Object factory: com.microsoft.jdbcx.sqlserver.SQLServerDataSourceFactory
o Main tab > DataSource Type: ConnectionPoolDataSource
o Main tab > CPDS classname: com.microsoft.jdbcx.sqlserver.SQLServerDataSource
o Additional tab > add property serverName = <myserver>,
o Additional tab > add property databaseName = <mydb>,
o Additional tab > add property portNumber = <port>, fx 1433
o Additional tab > add property user = <sql database user>, fx sa
o Additional tab > add property password = <password>
Then I set the initial connections to 1. On saving, I was shown an error saying:

Then I tried with SAPs Driver for MSSQL, giving the parameters as:
Driver Name: SYSTEM_DRIVER
JDBC Version: 1.x

Database URL: jdbc:sap:sqlserver://<myserver>:1433;DatabaseName=<mydb>
On saving an error was generated saying:

Where have I gone wrong? Pls help.

i have solved the issue.
it was due to the changes in formats of the driverclass name&URl for accessing SQLServer2005.
Details:
in SQLServer2000:
the driverclass name format is like:
com.sqlserver.microsoft.jdbc.SQLServerDriver
but in SQLServer2005 it is:
com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver
and
the URL in SQLServer2005 should be of the format:
jdbc:sqlserver://<server>:1433;DatabaseName=<db>
instead of SQLServer2000's
jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://<server>:1433;DatabaseName=<db>.the prefix has
changed.
i selected JDBC version as 1.x.
now its working fine and i cud fetch data from the db in my Web dynpro appln.

Error in connecting to Visual Administrator

All of a sudden when I want to connect to the visual admin on my productive EP6 (/usr/sap/<SID>/JC<NR>/j2ee/admin/./go) after when I give my password an click on connect it does a little % connecting to database and than gives me the error:

When I click on the right sided ! it comes with the task error message:

java.lang.NullPointerException
Nothing had been changed and in the night it worked but in the morning I got called by another engineer that he wasn't able to connect to the VA to do some changes SAP had given them to change.
Hope anyone had had this same strange issue and has a solution on it

It seemed that the logging of from the VA wasn't done correctly during some time (probably the did not first do a logout and than an exit, but exited right away)
After a stop and start of the portal I was able to login again without the error.

I need to delete certificate of abap system.
when i try to delete certificate from visulal admin>server>services>key storage>ticketkeystore
i get error stating

I solved it.
Visual Admin > Key Storage service ....
1) Take note of all your Entries under the "TicketKeystore" view. You could export all of your Entries here except for the "SAPLogonTicketKeypair" in case you need this to be replaced by a new one
2) Select the "TicketKeyStore" view and DELETE it
3) Create the "TicketKeyStore" view again. It should be empty now.
3) Recreate the SAPLogonTicketKeypair, and import all of the ones that you exported in step (1)

Error while deploying in Visual Admin

Currently I'm having an error while I do my application deployment via Visual Admin. I realized afterI login to Visual Admin then I press Services>Deploy, it will printed a stack of error of java.lang.NullPointerException. I screenshot for better reference.

I just checked the server and the version is SP13. But before I request for an upgrade I need to justify also.
I checked out the note 1325234 and follow what it asked. Is correct as I unable to see any entries after I clicked All Application. But in my defaultTrace log didn't print out the error message.
I only will see the message when I go to Visual Admin>Server>Services>Deploy and it will print as I showed in the screenshot. Just want to double confirm for the error.

Error when connecting to Visual Administrator

Hi Experts,
Im getting this error when trying to connect to visual administrator...
Im basis, and already ask to the IT team to open the port 50004 so the Visual administrator can connect. Their answer was that the port is open waiting for a tool to ask to connect to it. I´ve been looking for info in regards this issue unsuccessfully, can't find anything. Any ideas????

I have do do DB Lookup to Oracle in 7 different tables in various steps of my intrerface most of them point to functonal error if any lookup is reterving any value...kindly suggest some simple approach for this.

Visual Admin: error on loading service Web Services Security ? HELP

I wanted to consume a webservice to a remote R3 ECC 5 webservice with Visual Composer.
I added a web service client for VComposer using visual admin as:
Cluster->services->webServicesSecurity->
SecurityConfiguration->WebServiceClients->DynamicWSProxies->New
Added the remote host to R3 ECC5
http://<host>:8000/inspection.wsil
I keyed in the SID, client and language as per /people/community.user/blog/2007/04/04/consuming-webservice-in-visual-composer-1 .
I changed the security authentication to Basic and keyed in right user and password, saved the data.
It worked fine.
After I changed few values for SID, user, password on this properties, it gave me ERROR on loading service Web Services Security.
Can you please help to reset and put back the old config.

If I logon to visual administrator I am getting the following error during connection time(12%)
Unable to logion to Hostname:

beacuse of this problem I am not able to log onto visual adminstrator.
