I am getting this error when i tried to create new domain. I reinstalled the Weblogic, after that also i am getting same problem.

When you run your python script, did you set the weblogic environment, by using setWLSEnv.(sh or cmd) script.
This file is located in the directory: <middleware-home>/wlserver_10.3/server/bin
You can also use the wlst.(sh or cmd) script, located in the directory: <middleware-home>/wlserver_10.3/common/bin

    Initially this application was giving me absolute path related errors.But when I made changes to applicationContext.xml as follows,giviing absolute path for Hibernate mapping files
    <property name="mappingDirectoryLocations">
         <list>
         *<value>file:D:\saas-mappings</value>*
         </list>
    </property>
    I have extrached all the *.hbm.xml file to above location that is D:\saas-mappings.But now the application is giving me above mentioned error.The error says that it is related to Named queries.I am pasting the contents of a sample *.hbm.xml file having named query as a sample

    Hi,
    For a tutorial with source on how to create and deploy a simple quickstart JEE5 JPA enterprise 3-tier application on your Oracle WebLogic 10.3 server - see the following example that uses the EclipseLink JPA provider. You should be able to transition all of your mapping information (the @ManyToOne and table/column overrides and named queries for example) using either JPA via entity annotations or native extensions if you do not want to implement EJB3.
    see...
    http://wiki.eclipse.org/EclipseLink/Examples/JPA/WebLogic_Web_Tutorial
    We also have a similar version for Tomcat 6 except the JPA entity beans run outside a container-managed JTA transaction on the web container - for reference.

    thank you

    Hi ..Try,
    1) Check your database and ensure thar DEMODB schema is exist or not.
    2) Exit JDeveloper and then delete  or rename the folder "C:\Users\sumandal\AppData\Roaming\JDeveloper\system12.1.2.0.40.66.68". Start JDeveloper and run integrated weblogic server . Provide the essential things like password, host etc. I hope this will solve your issue.
    You can refer the below link also if you do not get the solution after doing the second step.

  • Error in creating the Domain from template in WLS 10.3.2

    Hi All,
    I am using WLS 10.3.2 and I need to create a domain from the template of my existing domain.
    I followed these steps while creating my existing domain:
    I chose these 2 while creating my existing domain
    ** WebLogic Portal - 10.3.2.0*
    ** Weblogic Portal Collaboration Repository - 10.3.2.0 [wlportal_10.3]*
    after Test JDBC Data Sources step where all my tests fail and in the next step
    Run Database Scripts: here I am running the Scripts by clicking on Run Scripts button and I get the message Database Load Successful!
    everything goes fine and my domain works fine.
    Now I am trying to create the domain template based on this domain which I created.
    After this step I am trying to create a new domain from the newly created template. I follow the steps given and at the end
    Creating Domain: Here it shows the progress and once it reaches 100% it displays the info in a popup window saying CFGFWK-60600: Before booting this domain, it is necessary to run the SQL file located at C:\bea\user_projects\domains\base_domain\security\SQLAuthenticator.sql in order to initialize a domain security admin user in the database.
    I assume this message is because while creating the domain from template I did not get the step Run Database Scripts and that is why I get that msg at the end.
    So I executed the create_db.cmd file wich is in domain home now I get the msg
    +[java] Files=+
    +[java] file:/C:/bea/user_projects/domains/local_domain_frm_tmpl/security/SQLAuthenticator.sql+
    +[java] Load was succesful+
    +[echo] ***** output written to logfile=create_db.log+
    so that says DB load was successful now when I tried to start the domain wich is created from the template.....it doesn't start and throws this error:

    seems that this error now has something to do with config.xml........
    Any suggestions.......???

    Hi Win35,
    Your Error Indicates that ...may be u are trying to Manually Edit the "config.xml" Security Realm Part.. There something is wrong...

    *This specially happens when working in Nopepad/TextPad ...in the Schema declaration  (At the top 2-3 Lines) of "config.xml" file some Spaces or Special Characters OR a Line Break occurs gets included...*

    weblogic server installation is perfect no errors at all.
    i also got the errors i got during installation ( im_emagent.mk and while running command gcc) . but thanks to OTN Forums i had managed to find out a fix. but on this error only solution i got is
    TRY WINDOWS . but what about linux then? is there any solution on this error?
    i am not much used to front-end ( java i mean). i am Oracle DBA Actually n want to install n try Weblogic
    Kindly Help...

    You can just copy the relevant parts (the ones marked with error). You can also look at the timing
    when it happened the reports environment did not start.
    From what i remember this could be a memory issue, standard every managed server (WLS_FORMS and WLS_REPORTS) instance
    is configured with 1024m bytes of memory.
    What we did is first install a forms instance and after that a reports instance. After the forms installation we adjusted the
    memory parameters in setWLSEnv (<middleware-home>/user_projects/domains/<domain-name>/bin). Look in this file
    for references to WLS_FORMS (something similar to: if [ "${SERVER_NAME}" = "WLS_FORMS" ] ; then).
    Another thing which springs to my mind is, which products did you select. If you just want Forms and Reports
    you can select just the following:
    - Oracle Forms
    - Oracle Reports
    - Developer Tools aan.
    - Management Components
    - Oracle HTTP Server
    and deselect the other options:
    - Oracle Portal
    - Oracle Discoverer
    - Oracle WebCache
    - Clustered (if you are not using clustering)
    We also had to fix the following files (i do not think that you have to do this since your Forms did not show any problems):
    - (On Windows) Copy the file msvcr71.dll (FMW/windows/extra) to WINDOWS/system32.
    - Copy the file mod_wl_ohs.so (FMW/<operating-system>/extra) to <middleware-home>/as_1/ohs/modules.

    Hello;
    Generally for the connection to work you need to add something like this to the listener.ora file :
    (SID_DESC =
        (global_dbname = STANDBY.hostname)
        (ORACLE_HOME = /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0.2)
        (sid_name = STANDBY)
    )You should stop and start the listener on the Standby after adding this. Also your tnsnames.ora must be correct on both the primary and the Standby.
    Also you need an INIT for the Standby side :
    STANDBY.__db_cache_size=343932928
    STANDBY.__java_pool_size=4194304

    Keys to success
    1. New Standby start NOMOUNT on new password file. ( On Oracle 11 you must copy and rename the file from Primary server )
    2. Hard coded listener on new Standby server.
    3. Correct tnsnames.ora files.
    4. Correct duplicate command.

    Please let us know the solution for the same. Thanks in Advance !

    As a workaround, after doing a "Clean All" and just before doing a "Build All", I created a "weboutput" folder manually under the 'build' folder in the web project in Workshop. That worked for me.
    [For some reason, everytime we do a "Clean", it deletes the 'weboutput' folder that it depends on ,even though it always remains empty].
    Hope this helps !

  • Error while creating new user in Oracle 11i EBS

    I am getting following error while creating new user. How solve this issue?
    “Unable to load java class % specified profile option SIGNON_PASSWORD_CUSTOM. Please verify that the class exists and that it implements the java interface oracle.apps.fnd.security.PasswordValidation”.

    Following is the text from Note for Custom Password Validation logic:
    Customers who wish to use their own password validation logic may do
      so by writing their own Java classes that implement the
      oracle.apps.fnd.security.PasswordValidation Java interface.  The
      interface requires 3 methods to be implemented:
      1) public boolean validate(String user, String password)
        - This method takes a username and password, and then returns true
      or false, indicating whether the user's password is valid or invalid,
      respectively.
      2) public String getErrorStackMessageName()
        - This method returns the name of the message to display when the
      user's password is deemed invalid (i.e., the validate() method returns
      false).
      3) public String getErrorStackApplicationName()
        - This method returns the application shortname for the
      aforementioned error message.
      After writing the Java class to perform customized password
      validation, the customer must then set the value of the profile option
      SIGNON_PASSWORD_CUSTOM to be the full name of the class.  If, for
      example, the name of the Java class is
      oracle.apps.fnd.security.AppsPasswordValidation, then the value of the
      SIGNON_PASSWORD_CUSTOM profile option must be
      oracle.apps.fnd.security.AppsPasswordValidation.  Note that AOL/J
      will attempt to load this class dynamically.  Hence it is necessary to
      make the class accessible by AOL/J.  This means that in Forms, the
      class must first be loaded into the database using the loadjava
      command.

    Thanks for your reply , Steve.
    I noticed that there is a default datasouce on the EM with the following parameters:
    <data-source
              class="com.evermind.sql.DriverManagerDataSource"
              name="OracleDS"
              location="jdbc/OracleCoreDS"
              xa-location="jdbc/xa/OracleXADS"

              inactivity-timeout="30"
         />
    The location and xa-location attributes that I use for my "test" data source are the same as the default one. So, could this be the issue?
    What should be the values for location and xa-location attributes from my "test" data source?
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    For me, e.g. Oracle 7.3.4, the classpath should be:
    export CLASSPATH = /oracle7.3.4/jdbc/lib/classes.zip:%CLASSPATH%
    Noted that the JDBC classpath must be the first classpath element in
    the export
    statement.

    another doubt related to same.=================================
    A couple of important points.
    First, the listener is a server side only process. It's entire purpose in life is to receive requests for connections to databases and set up those connections. Once the connection is established, the listener is out of the picture. It creates the connection. It doesn't sustain the connection. One listener, with the default name of LISTENER, running from one oracle home, listening on a single port, will serve multiple database instances of multiple versions running from multiple homes. It is an unnecessary complexity to try to have multiple listeners or to name the listener as if it belongs to a particular database. That would be like the telephone company building a separate switchboard for each customer.
    Additional notes on the listener: One listener is capable of listening on multiple ports. But please notice that it is the listener using these ports, not the database instance. You can't bind a specific listener port to a specific db instance. Similarly, one listener is capable of listnening on multiple IP addresses (in the case of a server with multiple NICs) But just like the port, you can't bind a specific ip address to a specific db instance.
    Second, the tnsnames.ora file is a client side issue. It's purpose is for address resolution - the tns equivalent of the 'hosts' file further down the network stack. The only reason it exists on a host machine is because that machine can also run client processes.
    Assume you have the following in your tnsnames.ora:
    larry =
      (DESCRIPTION =
        (ADDRESS_LIST =
          (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = myhost)(PORT = 1521))
        (CONNECT_DATA =
          (SERVICE_NAME = curley)
      )Now, when you issue a connect, say like this:
    $> sqlplus scott/tiger@larrytns will look in your tnsnames.ora for an entry called 'larry'. Next, tns sends a request to (PORT = 1521) on (HOST = myhost) using (PROTOCOL = TCP), asking for a connection to (SERVICE_NAME = curley).
    Where is (HOST = myhost) on the network? When the request gets passed from tns to the next layer in the network stack, the name 'myhost' will get resolved to an IP address, either via a local 'hosts' file, via DNS, or possibly other less used mechanisms. You can also hard-code the ip address (HOST = 123.456.789.101) in the tnsnames.ora.
    Next, the request arrives at port 1521 on myhost. Hopefully, there is a listener on myhost configured to listen on port 1521, and that listener knows about SERVICE_NAME = curley. If so, you'll be connected.
    What can go wrong?
    First, there may not be an entry for 'larry' in your tnsnames. In that case you get "ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified" No need to go looking for a problem on the host, with the listener, etc. If you can't place a telephone call because you don't know the number (can't find your telephone directory (tnsnames.ora) or can't find the party you are looking for listed in it (no entry for larry)) you don't look for problems at the telephone switchboard.
    Maybe the entry for larry was found, but myhost couldn't be resolved to an IP address (say there was no entry for myhost in the local hosts file). This will result in "ORA-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist"
    Maybe there was an entry for myserver in the local hosts file, but it specified a bad IP address. This will result in "ORA-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist"
    Maybe the IP was good, but there is no listener running: "ORA-12541: TNS:no listener"
    Maybe the IP was good, there is a listener at myhost, but it is listening on a different port. "ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error"
    Maybe the IP was good, there is a listener at myhost, it is listening on the specified port, but doesn't know about SERVICE_NAME = curley. "ORA-12514: TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor"
    Third: If the client is on the same machine as the db instance, it is possible to connect without referencing tnsnames and without going through the listener.
    Now, when you issue a connect, say like this:
    $> sqlplus scott/tigertns will attempt to establish an IPC connection to the db instance. How does it know the name of the instance? It uses the current value of the enviornment variable ORACLE_SID. So...
    $> export ORACLE_SID=fred
    $> sqlplus scott/tigerIt will attempt to connect to the instance known as "fred". If there is no such instance, it will, of course, fail. Also, if there is no value set for ORACLE_SID, the connect will fail.
    check executing instances to get the SID

    ERROR:
    ORA-12162: TNS:net service name is incorrectly specifiedOk, that is how we get from the client connection request to the listener. What about the listener's part of all this?
    The listener is very simple. It's job is to listen for connection requests and make the connection (server process) between the client and the database instance. Once that connection is made, the listener is out of the picture. If you were to kill the listener, all existing connections would continue. The listener is configured with the listener.ora file, but if that file doesn't exist, the listener is quite capable of starting up with all default values. One common mistake with the listner configuration is to specify "HOST=localhost" or "HOST=127.0.01". This is a NONROUTABLE ip address. LOCALHOST and ip address 127.0.0.1 always mean "this machine on which I am sitting". So, all computers are known as "localhost" or "127.0.0.1". If you specify this address, the listener will only be capable of receiving requests from the machine on which it is running. If you specified that address in your tnsnames file - on a remote client machine - the request would be routed to the machine on which the requesting client resides. Probably not what you want.

  • Infa Install Error while creating a domain

    I am trying to install Infa 8.1.1 on a windows x64 EM64T machine.
    I was able to install client sucessfully, but while installing the server, am getting the following error. I have also installed JRE 1.5 which is a pre req.
    This is the error that I am getting, has anyone seen this before?
    The installer could not create the domain. Correct the error below and select Retry. You must successfully create the domain to continue the installation.
    STDOUT: [ICMD_10150] An unexpected system error has occured: [Provider org.apache.xalan.processor.TransformerFactoryImpl not found].
    EXITCODE: -1
    Will appreciate any help on this.

    According to the Informatica Support site:
    [ICMD_10150] An unexpected system error has occured: [Provider org.apache.xalan.processor.TransformerFactoryImpl not found] when installing PowerCenter 8.1.1 on Windows 64-bit
    Problem Description
    Domain creation fails when installing 64-bit PowerCenter on a Windows 64-bit Itanium or EMT64 machine with the following error:
    Error:
    Can not create domain:
    The installer could not create the domain. Correct the error below and
    select Retry. You must successfully create the domain to continue the
    installation.
    STDOUT: [ICMD_10150] An unexpected system error has occured: [Provider
    org.apache.xalan.processor.TransformerFactoryImpl not found].
    EXITCODE: -1
    Cause
    This issue occurs because the PowerCenter client has been installed before server and the Java version and PowerCenter client version is 32-bit instead of not 64-bit. Hence, when PowerCenter client is installed before the server, it would install 32-bit Java. When the 64-bit server is installed it uses 32-bit Java displaying the above error.
    Solution
    This is a known issue and CR (CR 170023) has been submitted to be addressed in the future release of PowerCenter to track the installer issue as well.
    Workaround
    Uninstall existing PowerCenter client and server using Add/Remove programs Windows utility
    Reboot the server
    Install PowerCenter server
    The server installation would have created a folder with the directory structure like this C:\Informatica\PowerCenter8.1.1\java
    Stop all Informatica Services
    Copy the folder java to javabackup
    Install the PowerCenter client software
    Rename the java folder to java_old
    Rename the backup folder javabackup to java
    Start the Informatica Services
    More Information
    Applies To
    Product : PowerCenter 8.1.1
