Error in Displaying date in BEx

Hi,
I've created a Key figure based on calday. It has exception aggregation as 'Last Value' based on calday.
When I'm using it in a query It turns the date to 'mm/dd/yyyy' where ever possible.
e.g if a date is '03/09/2007' it shows it as '09/03/2007' but if it is '13/09/2007' it is showing it fine. I also put calday next to this KF and calday is working fine. it is showing date correctly (dd/mm/yyyy). All the data is loaded correctly and cube is having the KF correctly. When I run the same query in web KF is working fine. Its only in BEx it is having a problem. Can anyone, please tell me how to resolve this issue. If it is a bug of BEx then where can I find the patch.

I have the same problem !
I have Bex Analyzer 7.0 Package 3 and the days and months are switched if possible (01/10/2007 becomes 10/01/2007 but 30/10/2007 stays the same). I also noticed that the problem doesn't occur with Bex analyzer 7.0 package 2 and in my portal, the dates are also correct. If i do calculations with the dates (to get the difference), the results are correct.
For example:
in the portal it shows: date1 = 01/10/2007 and date2 = 02/10/2007 => the calculated difference is 1
in the analyzer it shows: date1 = 10/01/2007 and date2 = 10/02/2007 => the calculated difference is 1.
I checked my configurations and the only difference on the 2 computers is a different package (2 vs 3).
Anyone has an idea??

plz solve my problem like displaying Hierarchy in Bex ,
I loaded hierarchy from R/3 system into Bw 0Mterial.
In Bex 0material Properties I Selected heirachy on Material , this heirarchy having 8 levels,
but in the out put it showing only one level displayng
like Not Assigned Material.
i did all the bex setting well, but i dnot know why i am getting this ...

Is your heirarchy uploaded properly for 0Material ?? If yes juct check out if your transcational data is in sync with the hierarchy master ? If it is not then it wuill display as Not Assigned..

Error in displaying date time value in Thai Windows OS browser.

Hi,
I have a problem displaying date time in the browser which is installed with Thai Windows OS. The time portion (the subset of datetime) does seemed to show correctly. Initially i am suspecting the virtual machine problem but i tried on bith java and microsoft vm, the result seemed the same. I tried to look in the source of the page and the character is just the same as the incorrect character displayed in the browser. The html source is -->

the time is displaying incorrectly. I am not sure its due to any setting in the BEA weblogic server. FYI i am now using WLS6.1(SP2) version. Hope and appreaciate a prompt reply. Thanks a zillion in advance.

Urgent: Error while displaying data in OBIEE answers

Hi,
I'm facing an issue in OBIEE answers when trying to display values from my fact table. It is displaying something like invalid column identifier in oci call stmt execute...
I have three dimensions and that particular column is in three dimensional tables and i changed the names and placed in fact table.
when i'm trying to view data in physical layer it is displaying data.
why i'm facing this error.. How can I resolve this??
Its very urgent requirement and any help will be appreciable..

I changed the column names in BMM only. Not in physical layer. In physical layer i'm able to view data.

Error while displaying data of a Infoset with Cubes

Hi,
The following error displays when I try to read Infoset, which have 2 infocubes joined with inner join.
"IBM][CLI Driver][DB2] DSNT408I SQLCODE = -204, ER ROR: SAPR3.T00001 IS AN UNDEFINED NAME DSNT41 8I SQLSTATE = 42704 SQLSTATE RETURN CODE"
"Error when generating the SQL statement"
"Error reading the data of InfoProvider <Infoset Name>"
Any one familier with this problem?
Experts..any know causes or solutions for this?

All objects are active and checked.
In my testing I have noticed it is not accepting InfoCube . Any one know why its happening? What's wrong with the cubes in this InfoSoft?

MSS iView Error To display data, first select an employee

I have configured a MSS portal role with an employee page. The employee search (team viewer) iView is on the page with general data, salary data, and salary development. For some reason, the salary data iView gives the message "To display data, first select an employee". The other iViews on the page work ok. Any idea what's causing that?

The reason why the table is not being displayed is because of the currency you're using. The currency which
you might be populated from the backend is 2 character. I'm not sure if there is any currency code with two characters in the backend System. The standard should be having 3 character.

Format Error in displaying date in WD

Hi All:
I create a simple Type of type date in my dictionary and a context value attribute that is bind it to the value property of an InputField. The problem is that when the application is running, appears the date Navigator and I select a date but isn´t returning the date in the right format and the day is wrong.
What could be the problem?

My required format is these dd/mm/yyyy. In firefox is displaying fine the format, but when I getting the value from the context is putting dd-mm-yyyy. I discovered that in Internet Explorer is displaying fine de date, but in Firefox, if I choose 23/04/2008 I got in the context the value 01-04-2008. Always appear the first day of the month I chose.

Error in Displaying date and Time in Message - Nok...

Hi,
I have brought a new Nokia 5130 Xpressmusic last month. Now i am facing a problem when i received the message. In the message detail of any message of my inbox the time displayed is 7 to 8 hrs ago the time when i received the message.
For Example
If some body send me a message at 1:00 PM the message detail will show the time 9:00 AM approx....
Any body help me on this....

make sure that your time and date settings are correct
for time make sure you have correct time zone - use local or your specific time zone if you prefer
also see if you have automatic time update on or off, if it is on turn it off or if you are using local time you can have it on. see if this helps your issue any

Error while Displaying Heirarchy in Bex Report

Hi Anil,
Please run the Heirarchy attribute change run. It may give u the desired solution.
Administrator workbench-menubar Tools- apply hierarchy attribute change run.
after doing this run the query and check if the values are coming.

Planned Cost & Planned revenue - Not displaying data in Bex.

Hi BW Experts,
I have installed 0PS_C04_Q002 query from the business Content and loaded the data for the Cube 0PS_C04.
While executing the query, I am not getting data for Planned Cost and Planned revenue. I am getting data for Actual Cost and Actual revenue. As I am using standard restricted key figures, I am not getting the data. Can you please help on this Issue.

Hi Jelina,
Is the load successful to the cube?
Did u check the data in the cube?
Is the data populated fine?
Otherwise check the properties of Planned Cost and Planned Revenue by changing the Infoobjects. And check the lengths given and the datatypes. Compare them with the length and the datatypes of the fields u are retrieving from your source system.

ASSIGN_CAST_WRONG_ALIGNMENT error when displaying InfoCube data

Hi all,
I am getting an ABAP runtime error ASSIGN_CAST_WRONG_ALIGNMENT when I try to display data from an InfoCube. This only happens when I'm entering a filter for an InfoObject in the data selection screen, when I click on the "List of Values" box and select a value from there. Once I select the value, I get the runtime error. This is happening for InfoObject 0CALMONTH.
It seems this could be happening because the source InfoObject is 0ENTRY_DATE, type DATS, length 8; and the target InfoObject is 0CALMONTH, type NUMC, length 7. But the data is already loaded to the cube, and the data displays correctly in the cube and in queries. Why does the runtime error happen when I select from a list of values?
Can anyone help me in resolving this issue?

Iam getting a dump error described below:
A conversion error occurred while the program was trying to
display data on the screen.
The ABAP output field and the screen field may not have the
same format.
Some field types require more characters on the screen than
in the ABAP program. For example, a date field on a screen needs
two characters more than it would in the program. When attempting to
display the date on the screen, an error will occur that triggers the
error message.
              Screen name.............. " Ztable_MM_MRQ "
              Screen number............ 0100
              Screen field............. "WA_PO_ITEMS-MENGE"
              Error text............... "FX015: Sign lost."

I have solved this problem on my own.
Solution: 1st check your target over query is excuting...there is data or no... in Tcode "LISTCUBE".
Then data is available... or not.
If every thing is ok...then dorp the query....create anothor and checked by only 2 fields....if is working then ....comptele it.....if data is there then no problem....report should run...
check ur data is ready for reproting.... i means reporting icon is available or not.????
If the Problem begin Same "NO APPLICABLE DATA FOUND".
Then the Problem in Loading.
2. Click on cube choose manage tab...there will be reproting symbol....
Need to check each steps if data is there or Report not running....
Finally delete the request then again load the data..and icon should come automatically...
3. There is R and below one excel sheet fighre...icon
4. Go and make a Report in BEx Analayzer..
Data will fetching Automatically....

Displaying dates as column headers for BEx Query

Hi all,
I have to display dates in sequence as descriptions for 15 columns based on the keyed in date in Bex Query Analyser. I'm able to display date as column heading for one column using text variable with replacement path.I could not able to increment date for other descriptions.Could you please help me to solve this issue.
Ex: Input Date 05/09/2007 then in the out put column headers should be 0509 0609 0709 ............ 1909
These are only column headers, values for the columns are quantities calculated using formulas.
It is urgent.

hi mandadi,
if u want dates as headers only then u should use a text variable .
as a rule u can not set off set for text variable so u create restricted key figure with date restricted and set off set.
now u use this rkf to populate the text variable using replacement path.
text variable can use replacement path for replacing from any variable and characteristics.

Error in table control while displaying data.

Hi All,
I m doing module pool programming using Table control.
I m using one table only and declared internal table like the database table.
When I m transferring data from internal table to Table control screen, I m getting error like.
<b>A conversion error occurred while the program was trying to
display data on the screen.</b>
The filed is of DEC type and it is having some value with negative sign.
Whether I have to change field type of sceen element and if so then to which data type?
Or any other way to handle such situation.

Please check whether the screen field name of the table control and the type
is same as the internal table that you are using to populate.
