Error in Displaying Expense Form

Hi ,
I am working on the SAP T&E Module.I am getting an error when i click on the display expense form button.
The details of the error are as:

Unable to interpret 0 as a number means type of attribute and displayed value is not matching. i.e., not of same type.
Check this once.

Hello,
I have the following error when displaying the form of any xellerate users :
ERROR,03 May 2011 10:40:56,273,[XELLERATE.APIS],Class/Method: tcFormDefinitionOperationsBean/getFormFieldPropertyValue encounter some problems: Property 'Column Names' has not defined for the form field '-19'
All is working fine, just this error that is diplayed each time I want to display a user form. In my formMetadata.xml, I have the following definition for the field -19, it is the manager :

Hello,
I'm new to OIM. I am a new hire to a group that had a contractor setup the whole system. I'm finding a similar issue on our system here. I've looked through the database and cannot seem to find the issue. Error happens when from the webapp clicking on "Create IT Resource".
From the Error Log:
Class/Method: tcFormDefinitionOperationsBean/getFormFieldPropertyValue encounter some problems: Property 'Column Names' has not defined for the form field '-82'
Line with issue from FormMetaData.xml:

Error initiating travel expense form

Dear Guru's,
We have an issue displaying the Travel Expense form in ESS. We are not using the PDF forms but the HTML , no ADS has been set up and followed the exact steps mentioned in SAP Note 1032311. So we deleted the URL parameter in the URL parameter from the resource and set the PDC path as a non-static URL to the tripform. We deleted also the Iview property ....UsePDF=true.
Next we changed the setting in the Travel Management Expert View refering to Adobe Forms from 0 into 1, and we modified feature TRVFE using the SAP form PTRV_EXPENSE_FORM .
We tested the forms in trx TRIP, PR05 and PR_WEB_1200 and all results were positive since the form is displayed. However using the Iview create travel expenses the ' Error intiating trip forms' remains. The Iview My trips and expenses gives the same negative result trying to display/print the form. However the Iview display trip form seems to do something and is only given the error that the trip parameter for the pernr is missing while previewing it, which is clear since no trip has been selected.
Help needed.

Please check you have the correct roles assigned for the URL in PCD path as this is a common cause of this type of error

Error while displaying ESS Form 16, ~designbaseurl illegal host entry

While executing the form 16 in portal we are getting an error.
~designbaseurl illegal host
but if i run this directly using the url its working fine.

But if you have an error in ST22 you don't need to pester yourself with ST01. ST01 is pretty much the last resort of debugging when you can't destinguish where an error originates from.
Since you do have an error in ST22, you should check the code segment which is provided there in the dump, search for the repository object which holds this code and take a look at it or externally debug it.

Error when display "My trips and Expense "

Hello experts,
I had configurated ESS and ADS .
Our ADS intalled on the Portal server, ERP on the othere server.
I have configurated ADS both with ABAP and JAVA for a basic authentication .
When I click the button "Display/Print"   in "My trips and Expense " page , it occured error bold "Error while initalizing travel form " bold.
I think I had configurated ADS with ABAP successful.
There 4 steps to check the configuration of ADS with ABAP:
1. The first check you need to perform is Checking by Executing Test Report FP_TEST_00
    error: Cannot find PDL type for output device LP01.
2. Check the ABAP Connection . successful
3. Check the User and Password   successful
4. Check the Destination Service . successful
But in "Benefits and Payment", "Total compensation" can display PDF form normally .
But the error not be covered .
Could you please give me any suggestions ?

If you use the ABAP Forms, plz check you customizing with the IMG activity "Travel Expenses Control (Expert View)". Set the indicator Other Settlement 24 for the appropriate trip provision variant to the desired value :

ESS-Travel and Expenses-Display Trip Form

Hi, All
We have ECC 6.0 SP11;SAP-HR SP9;EA-HR SP9.
Portal 7.0 SP10;ESS 600 SP10.
I have an issue regarding the display of Travel and Expenses Form (Trip Form) in the Portal. The expense report creation is working fine and whenever i tried to open the trip , i get the error" Error while initiating travel form". other functionalities like change report works without any issues. We have not configured the ECC for PDF creation and hence the display is supposed to show a screen report. (Anyway, I have chceked the ADS coniguration also and it is working fine.)
If i goto the Content administrator-webdynpro-applications and click the AllMytrips application and run it from there, then the display trip works fine.
Any suggestions/hints to resolve this issue is very much appreciated.

Thanks for your input. I feel the First link is not applicable to my setup as we are not using the Adobe Forms for the output( as another Dev Portal is working fine and displays the output as a Screen). Also, I am able to display the data in the current portal setup, if i run the webdynpro application separately and the output is displayed in a Screen.
May be either i have to downgrade my ESS Version to ESS600 SP6 ( current version is ESS600 SP10 ) or I have to upgrade my Portal to SP12 ( current version is SP10).
Suggestions are very much appreciated.

I think i need to talk to Basis people for the same. its some form error as in PDF settings.
i jus noticed one thing noe in TRIP if i right click on the trip in th overview are n select display its opening that form in simulation. but when i click on result button its givin that error while initiating th form. So i think its PDF form error settings.

Error Box displays in JClient Form with no text (preview 9.0.3)

I am using Preview 9.0.3, with a JClient Form, running as an applet. When I execute the applet within JDeveloper, an Error box displays, but has NO text. When I try to close the box, it just keeps redisplaying, with no text. I am using the -Djbo.debugoutput=console, and the last statement to be logged is the SELECT statement from the Entity Object I am working with.
Is there any other diagnostic logging I can turn on to find out what the error is?
Any ideas?

Any ideas? You may turn on the diagnostic on BC4J to see where things are breaking.
Open up Project settings. In the Runner panel, provide runtime option : -Djbo.debugoutput=console

Travel Display Form: Error while determining the form function module

Hi,
This error was due to Not supported platforms of ADS (Adobe Document services)
It was not supported on itanium64 bit processors.
Please check where the ADS is supported in service.sap.com/pam
You can use the ADS in the Non-Supported Server by linking it to Supported Platform Server using the SM59 link. This will make the ADS files to work.
Please refer the ADS Config Doc for details.

PR05 Travel Expense Manager.Messag : Error while initiating travel form

Hi,
We're upgrading from 4.6C to ECC6.0 . With transaction PR05 we're getting error message .
Transaction PR05 -> entered in personnel no XXXXXXXXX and pressed the green checkmark. I then select a line - for this I selected the second line that said Transferred PAY. I then hit the RESULTs button on the menu bar and get the following error message:
"Error while initiating travel form"
Message no. 56568
Please advise how to fix issue.

Entry the transaction SE16N in the table V_T702N_A and click F8.
Select your variant code and double click.
Displays 30 column (3 groups with 10 column) and 6 lines.
Change the column 4 (third group) and line 5 (Others calculation), is satisfied with 0, should change to 1.

Error in Displaying Form 16 in Portal

Hello Everybody,
I am facing a problem related to display of Form 16 in Portal.
Here i have SAP EP 7.0 SP15 and ECC(EA_HR and SAP_HR) SP 30. For form 16 I am using TCode :HRESSIN_F16.
Now Problem is that Iview is showing till Tab DISPLAY REPORT means Year selection.
But after clicking the DISPLAY REPORT, nothing is displayed in the container provided on the screen for Form 16 pdf. Its blank.
Kindly provide me any fruitful suggestion. I will be very thankful.(I'll reward points for sure)

Displaying Travel Expense form as attachment to UWL workitem

Hi experts,
We have customized the travel expense workflow that is WS20000040.
When the requestor raises a travel expense request it goes to the manager for approval in his UWL.
There by default, according to the standard functionality, when approver clicks the particular work item, he can see an attachment attached to the work item, which on clicking, leads to transaction PR05.
Within that transaction when he clicks 'Travel Details' only then he can see the PDF for travel expense form.
Our requirement is, instead of opening the transaction, the PDF should open directly as soon as the approver clicks the link.

In relation to the scenario that you have described you mentioned the following:

Your requirement is, instead of opening the transaction, the PDF should open directly as soon as the approver clicks the link.
Ok firstly a point to highlight here is have you attempted to reproduce this issue in more than one browser type? Also is compability mode currently enabled on the web browser platform that you are utlizing.
Ok in terms of background functionality and the underlying operations of this scenario the predefined actions which occurs once a workitem is clicked in the UWL depends on XML configuration or via the SWFVISU transaction. By default, the item type configuration for the corresponding work items is set to launch the expense report form.
If you analyze the UWL configuration file and the travel expense XML e.g. com.sap.pct.erp.ESS/MSS - from UWL administration page, you should be presented with the following:

You should be able to set the predefined open action here.
Also there are two key points to remember when you are working with XML files.
XML files and the UWL follow the notion of precedence. Therefore once you make a change in the UWL XML the file needs to be reuploaded with a new priority of high in order for changes to come into effect and the UWL Cache needs to be cleared.
XML files should be backed up and copied so changes can be reverted easily if required.

Error while determining the form function module

Hi everyone,
We are experiencing problems while displaying one adobe form in ESS. Its the Travel Expense form (PTRV_EXPENSE_FORM). When pressing the button to Display/Print the form we get an error message: "Error while determining the form function module", and no form I shown. The ADS server is configured correctly and there are other forms that are actually working, for example the Travel Request form. We are running WAS 7.0 with SP12.
Anyone has an idea what can cause the problem? Any help is greatly appreciated.
