  • End of file error - avi exported from PPRO

    Encore 1.5
    PPro 1.5
I have a project with 16 avi files exported from PPro. Four of them caused the error. I re-exported them and one was fixed. The other three keep causing the error.
I am starting to get a little crazy trying to figure out what is going on. Seems I remember that if the audio and video duration get goofed up in PPro then Encore gets cranky.
Is there a way I can fix this other than re-editing from scratch?
    Thanks in advance.

    Mark,
Are you Exporting as DV-AVI files? If you are, and they are mux'ed (Audio & Video multiplexed into one file), try as elemental steams, i.e. Video only DV-AVI and Audio only as PCM/WAV 48KHz 16-bit (or AC3 if you're doing DD 5.1 SS). If you have tried as elemental streams, then try with mux'ed DV-AVI (both Video & Audio). Elemental streams work best for me, and there are only the extra few steps:
    Import Video (only) as Timeline
    Import Audio (only) as Asset
Drag Audio from the Project Panel to appropriate Timeline. With proper Export from PP, they WILL match up perfectly in Duration.
With mux'ed files, you just Import as Timeline and are done - if that works.
Yes, Encore does get really picky. I always Export as elemental streams and never have any issues, but some have, and a mux'ed DV-AVI works for them - why? I do not know.
I do not know if there are any limitations with PP & Encore 1.5, as I have never used them, but others here WILL know if you need to watch out for version-specific issues.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • Error when exporting from Quicktime Pro

I don't really like how any of the Adobe products export H.264 .mov files so my normal workflow that I've been doing for years is to export as a high quality MPEG4 and then open it in Quicktime and export as H.264 from there. I went to do this today and it gave me this error message "Export Controller has stopped working". When I click OK on that it gives me this error in the progress window:
    http://screencast.com/t/N2ZjNjcz
I've tried this with multiple videos and got the same thing, as a test I tried exporting as MPEG4 and I got a similar error (different code). As I was typing this I tried Export For Web and got the same error. Any idea how to fix this?

There's another thread here discussing the same error message, though not in exactly the same circumstance:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2212899&tstart=0
Perhaps something in that thread will help you.

  • XL-H1 aspect ratio error when exporting from FCP 1080p24 to compressor

    PLEASE HELP
I have a finished project in fcp in a 1080p24 project.
    My source footage is 1440 x 1080i 24f from an xl-h1.
When i export from final cut pro to compressor, compressor squeezes my footage into a square.
if i export to dvd from compressor the ratio is fine.
when i export in quicktime thats where the skewed image happens.
    Please help
    thanks

    Hi StingoArmy,
There is an easy fix for this. Once you export your file to Compressor, you can apply an export option, let's say we're going to export a LAN Streaming Quicktime movie for Internet. Now click on the new bar that's been placed inside your media tab. The settings for this export item appear below in the Inspector. Just below the DESCRIPTION line are a series of options buttons. Clicking the option 2nd from the right (Geometry) opens up a new tab where you can change the dimensions. There are several ways to go about exporting to 16:9, the one I use is to change the Frame Size to "Custom (16:9)", however, you can also do the same thing by changing the Pixel Aspect to "HDV 1080i (16:9)" You should test results for both and see which is the preferred method for your final output, depending on what type of Quicktime movie you are creating.

  • Error when exporting from FCP

When I try and export to Compressor(1.2.1) from FCP HD 4.5 i get an error saying that a file of this name already exists (obviously not the case). The Batch then fails within 5 secs or so. Could this be a restriction on the academic version of fcp or something - ie one can only export a project x many times or something? i've seen the related string but turning off anti-virus software doesn't seem to help me at all. any ideas?
also - I can export as a self containded qt file but even if I do it at the highest settings the finished dvd (made using dvd studio4) doesn't look as good as an old dvd i have that was encoded by exporting to comp. from fcp. is it just my eyes having seen the video so many times that i am seeing things or has anyone else noticed this?

there's also reports of incompatibility with compressor3:

  • Error message exporting from mpeg streamclip to quicktime

I have downloaded the mpeg streamclip and the $20.00 mpeg2 component. I can open the files from a DVD but when I try to export it to quicktime in order to import to iMovie I get the following error message:
    "can't create the MOV file"
I have tried creating smaller clips and exporting those but get the same error message.
I am very new to using mpeg streamclip and this is the first time I have used iMovie. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Allison

The VOB files should work in MPEG Streamclip.
Try dragging a single VOB file to mpeg streamclip. See if it will play in the MPEG Streamclip Viewer.
Then try FILE/EXPORT TO QUICKTIME/Apple Intermediate Codec in original dimensions for Video Codec and uncompressed for Audio Codec. Give it a filename. If that works, open iMovie and select FILE/IMPORT/FILMS and select your clip you just created.
You may also want to check the Squared 5 website for MPEG Streamclip to see if they have any advice.

  • -108 Error on Export from FCP X Trial

So I'm trying to export movie so I can make a test DVD (using other programs, of course, to make it properly anamorphic SD & add chapter markers), but near the end of the export I get the following error: The operation could not be completed because an error occurred when encoding frame 77233 (error -108).
Doing the math, as I can't find a way to show frame numbers, this seems to be near the end of my timeline, but NOT the very end, and there doesn't seem to be anything special going on there. Have trashed preferences, etc. and restarted, get the same message. Have exported parts of this before without trouble. Haven't seen anyone else with this error number so just curious, and of course annoyed. I am using the latest trial version, debating whether to pay to move from FCS 3. Not impressed with the instability.

I'm having the same issue happen time after time after updating to the Maverick operating system, and particularly I'm working on exporting an hour and 20 minute movie right now that continue to get the same error everytime.
In preferences, under editing you can change the display to frames instead of the timecode. However when I go to the frame that it errored on, nothing's wrong with the clip. It was right in the middle of a transition, so I deleted the thing and applied another transition, and nothing.
I even tried what you should try. And that is copying the entire timeline into a new fresh timeline and then export. It SHOULD work, but it isn't working for me. About to throw my 27" in the trash.

  • Error in exporting from Interactive Report to PDF format

    Hello,
i am using APEX and from an Interactive Report i am trying to export using Download | PDF format. The table and corresponding report has only text fields. Database character set is UTF-8. Up to now i haven't been able to get a PDF file that can be open from Adobe Acrobat Reader. Every file fails opening with message like "Adobe Reader could not open filename.pdf, because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded). This happens for every report i have tried up to now. If i export report in CSV format all are ok.
Is there a known bug with PDF download of APEX?
    TIA

    See this link: http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/application_express/html/configure_printing.html
FOP & Cocoon are free (just need to install the software and configure) Bi Publisher I believe works only for Standard Reports and no Interactive reports at this time.. If you have the $$ BI Publisher is worth the investment!!
Also, it is rumored that APEX 4.0 will have the PDF generation built in as apposed to the current model where you need to bolt something on..
    Thank you,

  • Error when exporting from After Effects into Media Encoder

Hi there. I am using After Effects CC and am trying to export>add to Adobe Media Encoder CC. Upon doing so, instead of the file being placed into Media Encoder CC, I get an error message
I just updated to most recent update of After Effects via the Cloud today but no difference. Instead, After Effects just creates a folder on my system to house a duplicate composition file with "tmpAEtoAMEProject" at the beginning of file name. I can use the render queue out of After Effects just fine.
Can someone give me a solution to how I can export out to Media Encoder CC? Probably something simple I am just missing. I don't know much/can't find much about how to know if Adobe Dynamic Link components are installed. Oh, and I have also tried to just drag the files into Adobe Media Encoder too but I still get this warning. If it helps, I am on an imac OSX 10.8.5. Thanks!

Hey there. Yes, I have uninstalled AE, restarted, and reinstalled. Still get the same error shown in screenshot in my original question posted.

  • Error on export from a 1.5 version and import to a 1.6 version

I am exporting a 1.5 version of an application to the 1.6 version on the Oracle Workspace and I get the

    thanks.

After reviewing the application at Oracle workspace, I noticed that my breadcrumbs for all my pages are lost. They are replaced with M6708925024450111.
I did some searches on the form and saw that others also had this same problem.
Is this a known bug? Is there a way for me to handle this? I have breadcrumbs in all my pages. I will need to go to each page and reset the menu so that it references the right menu.
    Is there a workaround?
    thanks

  • Error on export from Flash CC to Javascript/HTML5

I am trying to convert a Flash CC project to HTML5. I continually get this error:
An unexpected error occurred during export. [NOSYMB (innerWheel)]
innerWheel is a movieClip that contains 784 frames of frame by frame animation. The elements that animate are the small letters (text saved as movieClips) and background to the small letters. See below - capital letters stay fixed in place.
I can't find any information on what NOSYMB means. Has anyone else had the same problem?
    When I query the instance:
    console.log(this.innerWheel.visible);
I get this message in the console (Safari):
[Error] TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating 'this.innerWheel.visible')
Any help is much appreciated. I'm tearing my hair out.

I isolated the problem to a particular range of frames, removed those and rebuilt the animation. I can now publish with no errors.
Still no idea what exactly was causing the error. When I inspected each instance on the stage they looked fine. But at least I'm not getting an error so all good.
Would still be great to know what NOSYMB refers to though.
