Error in Extraction - object request is currently locked by BWREMOTE

Hi All,
I am facing an error when extracting the data from R/3.
Error message: Object requested is currently locked by BWREMOTE
Message no. MC601
Diagnosis
A lock requested by calling an ENQUEUE function module cannot be set up because another SAP transaction is using the lock in question.
Technical Information: The C_ENQUEUE routine returned the following values:
COLLISION_OBJECT = ERSENQUEUE
COLLISION_UNAME = BWREMOTE
Has any body come across with this error? If so could you please let me know how to resolve this error.

Hi Praveen,
To make it easier to find what is causing this locking problem, it would be very helpful to enhance the short text of message MC 601 temporally. This should return the object which has caused the locking problem.
Go to SM30 input table T100 -> message class MC -> message# 601
Replace: Object requested is currently locked by user &
with: Object &2 requested is currently locked by user &1
Please also see SAP Note 673940 which addresses MC601.

HI together,
we send IDOCs from SAP R/3 through XI into an other SAP R/3 system (ORDERS). all messages will be processed but only 2 messages are get stuck in XI with the error message:
"Object requested is currently locked by user" in SMQ2.
Do anybody know a solution for that?
If i trigger the IDOC in WE19 again, the same error occurs again and again.

very strange happening!!
i check the mapping of the error message and found out that we have a used a multiply function in the mapping (quantity * price). we have a price > 100000.00 and a quantity of 3. In testtab the mapping runs and runs and runs... nothing happens.
i created u UDF that solve the problem. i do not know why this is needed or what is wrong the the SAP standard mapping function.
Unfortunately we have this issue only in production, not in DEV or QA.

Unable to execute the report. 2108: The object requested: doest not exist in repository

 Hi, I have developed report and saved . when I tried to execute from Hyperion reports web URL . It is giving me the error . The object requested does not exist in the repository Error No 2108. can any one help me in resolving the isssue tx in advance for the help regards bheemesh 

There might be a number of reasons why your report doesnt open up .One of the main reasons is that your report is incorrectly configured for the server and application .If you think that it is correctly configured .Then try exporting the report and then delete the report from the repository and then re-import the report back to the repository and check the server/application configuration and then run ur report again on the web . Transport Release Error: Not all objects in the request could be locked.

Hi all!
I hope you can help me with this one.
We need to transport a particular request in our QA and Production client. However, upon releasing of the transport request number, a warning/error message appeared on the screen:
'Not all objects in the request could be locked. Do you want to release anyway?'
I tried to display the error and below is the object messages:
Object messages: R3TR TABU ZLIFNR
Task F5DK900107 belongs to a different category
I don't know what that means, but I noticed that there are too many objects under the customizing task which I think is not part of the latest customization. I'm not sure what to do, I hope somebody could give me some advise.

Hi!
There are many IMG activities under that same request which is not supposed to be transported to QAS. Is it possible to transfer the IMG activity and other customization into a new transport request? if possible, how?
I'm thinking if I can just try to change/save again the new configuration to a new transport request number. But if there's an easier way to solve this problem, I will consider that option.

Unable to delete Transport Request which contain locked objects

Hi all,
I need to delete some unusable transport requests but as they contain locked objects, it's not possible to delete them. Release operation is just allowed. After releasing these transport requests, I can not find them any more in queue. Please help to find these transport requests which are released and also provide a solution to delete instead of releasing them.

1. What do you mean by transport request , Shipment Request, Shipment Order or Tour.
A. I mean requests which can be transported between SAP Systems using TMS (Transport Management System).
2. What are the objects which has been locked and due to that you are facing this problem.
A. There are diffrent object types. For examle some customizing have booen done or SAP Note correction has been implemented, ... Therefore some objects have been locked due to these operations
3. Let's say if it's an freight Unit, then Pls confirm that System dump / error is not the cause for this.
A. I have no idea about "Freight Unit".

When releasing a transp. req.not all object in the request could be locked

When trying to release a transport request I get error message that "not all object in the request could be locked. Do you want to release them anyway"
I found an unreleased request (from someone else) containing few objects from my request. However I do not know the owner of that request (and I can not felete it). What to do?
If I release the transport anyway what could happen?

If ur sure that u only want to release object which u have created and not the other objects then proceed in following way.
1. Go to SE10 and click on create button
2. u will get a popup select the 3rd radio button(ToC)
3 Give the decsription of the Tp
4. u will get anext screen here in menu select request
task->object lise ->Include object (new screen) here u select radio button freely selet obkect -> then new screen then selected the radio button selected objet. Here u give ur object and those object will be store in the created request then u can transport

Error "Only edit objects from package /VIRSA/ZVIR in local requests"

Hey, SAP gurus,
After I applied OSS note 1149445 in our Dev box to fix the bug in program /VIRSA/ZVFAT, I had problem to realease the transport. I got the error u201COnly edit objects from package /VIRSA/ZVIR in local requestsu201D.
u201CObjects in package /VIRSA/ZVIR cannot be edited in transportable Workbench requests in the current Dev system. The transport routes are configured such that objects from package /VIRSA/ZVIR can only be edited in local Workbench requests.u201D
What can I do to release the transport and move it to our QA box?

My co-worker and I followed SAP instruction on this one and solve the issue.
We created a "transport of copies" by using Transaction SE01. Go to the request overview and choose Request/task -> Object list -> Include objects to include the "child transport number of my transport" in this "transport of copies". Add the target system and release the change request.

Navigate to
system_admin -> Monitoring->
Portal->object_locking->
There you can view your locked pcd object.Just check it and Unlock.
That should solve your problem.

Error: the object is not currently contained in a document

When I do a save or switch to other pages, I get the following error:
"Translate error: Error: the object is not currently contained in a document"
The web page I have open then doesn't render correctly in the window - although it looks fine in a browser. I already tried deleting the cache file and even the entire personal configuration file. How do I fix this? I am using Dreamweaver CS6, by the way.

I've had a look at your medium.html page in a couple of browsers, as well as in the W3C validator.
I suspect Dreamweaver is having a problem with the external JavaScript that's loaded on line 20. It's coming from a remote server, and is likely to take some time to load. There also seems to be a problem with the "Begin Widget Config" comment on line 21.
I noticed that Source Code in both Firefox and Chrome display the Begin and End comments in a different colour from other HTML comments. Also the W3C validator complains about the opening angle bracket of the comment on line 21. When I copied the code into Dreamweaver and removed the template markup, I noticed that Dreamweaver also failed to display the comments in grey. But when I deleted the HTML comment tags and reapplied them, they turned grey.
It sounds like a long shot, but it looks as though there is something unusual about the characters in the comments on lines 21 and 42. Open the main template, delete those comments, and add them again (or leave them out - they're not necessary).
If editing the comments doesn't fix the problem, I suggest that you try deselecting the option to display external files (View > Display External Files toggles the option on and off). Alternatively, comment out the reference to the script on searchschoolsnetwork.com while you're working with the files locally.

Transport error: "Only edit objects from package CL in local requests"

I have made changes to an SAP original program as per Note 1096366 on SAP's service web site. The program is an Include program (LCLCMFMZ). I have assigned it a transport number, but it keeps trying to make the target local. When I change the target to DEV, it will not transport and I get the following error:
"Only edit objects from package CL in local requests"
Does anyone know what this error means?

but I think I have figured it out. I needed to create a transport of copies (from se09) and include this object in that transport (right click and choose 'Include object...'). Then back to se01 and display all transportable object (including transport of copies). Then select my transport of copies, choose a target system (from double clicking and going to properties). Only then would it let this object get transported.

in the contract.
Please re-process the BDoc again so that it will complete the process.

11g Upgrade Assistant Error - "Cannot refresh - Currently locked"

I am running OBIEE 11g on Linux 32bit OS. It is a new OBIEE 11g install, I am just upgrading the 10g RPD and web catalog from our existing 10g server on this machine to serve as a separate 11g test environment. I have successfully upgraded the 10g RPD file using this 11g server's Upgrade Assistant utility. However, when I attempt to upgrade the 10g web catalog directory export on this machine I get the following error within the Upgrade Assistant:

For the web catalog "directory export" I am referencing, I just tarred up the existing 10g web catalog and FTPed it to this server then ran the Upgrade Assistant against that directory.
I don't have the RPD open and I am not logged into the system. Does anyone know what the issue is or if I can upgrade a directory web catalog export on this machine?

Thank you for the reply. I did install using the "Simple" method vs. using the "Enterprise" method. However, I really don't want to re-install and reconfigure this server again. I already had an issue with using Linux 64bit OS previously (IDM authentication did not work). Using Linux 32bit OS IDM authentication is working now.
I will try a few more things, if I can't find a resolution then I will attempt the "Enterprise" install method and see if my catalog will upgrade.

I am scheduling the Forecasting Job in Background on daily basis , sometime in logs i get the below ERROR...
" Selection accesses data is currently locked"
Can any body help me...
what are the possible reasons? i mean except the User is working in the planning book?
Suppose if the only reason (User is in the planning book) then how can we avoid this error??
Is there any way , if the user is in the planning book .then also we can avoid this error!

You can control the users by locking/unlocking during forecast run
using transaction su10

Hi,
It only means that some other user is either changing the material master or doign some transactions involving this material. You need not do anything. You can just wait for 5minutes and resume your work once the guy completes his work. Some other guys also get this message while you are working in a material. So this is common.
If you want to know who is working, you can find the table relevant to your transaction and then check in SM12 by giving the table name, you can find out the user id there. You shoudl have access to SM12 for this
