    Hi nishu,
Go into the Repository (IR) and check the conditions mentioned for the field <STATEMENTNAME1>/TBL_SAP_PRODUCTS in the datatype, searching it by the respective namespace and check if the given input has the expected data type.
Change your payload date format according to the timestamp specified in the condition .

  • Receiver communication chanel error in File conversion scenario

    Hi ,
I am trying to implement a file-xi-file scenarion in which the input is a tab delimited file...The Sender channel works fine.
The problem i am facing now is that the receiver commmunication channel throws an error in adapter monitoring..the error says ...
"Receiver Adapter v2123 for Party '', Service 'FILE_TRANSFER2_SD':
    Configured at 2006-05-18 14:26:02 GMT+05:30

Parameter '.fieldFixedLengths' or '.fieldSeparator' is missing "
If i remove the receiver content conversion then the channel works fine and gives me the output as one single string of charaters widout any formatting....
I have added both the fields in the content conversion of the receiver channel...
    Plz help...
    Thanx ,
    Srestha

    Hi,
You have to give in you field content conversion either the paramter 'field seperator' or 'fieldFixedLengths'
<i>'If you make a specification here, the system expects that the structure contains the specified character string (one or more characters) as a separator between the individual columns.
If you have not made an entry for fieldFixedLengths, this is the only specification to identify the individual columns in a row.
If you made a specification for fieldFixedLengths, the extra length of the separator is taken into account, but no further consistency checks are performed.</i>

  • Error in file-file scenario: HTTP response contains status code 503

    Hi folks,
I've encountered the foll error in file-file scenario:
Testing file-file scenario (followed the blog: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/xi/flatFILETOFLATFILE&)
Initially i was hving problems with recvr comm channel, which are now resolved. File is sent successfully but not recvd. I tried to modify the scenario above and change the file type to 'Text' but still got the same error.
I've checked SICF -->default_host/xi/engine , we dont maintain logon data there. when i test the default_host/xi/engine service, it resolves into an ip addr as follows:
    http://<hostname>.<domain.com>:8001/sap/xi/engine?sap-client=<clientNo>
(Also, we hv a BW system running on the same server ,which uses a fully qualified domain, while we dont which is why we get the above domain. Im not sure if there are any issues with that.)
and we get the foll error:
    Error Code 10060: Connection timeout
If i remove the domain manually, im prompted for userid/pwd and get the foll result:

    Hi ,
Look in to this for all errors
    /people/krishna.moorthyp/blog/2006/07/23/http-errors-in-xi
The server is currently unable to handle the request due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server. The implication is that this is a temporary condition which will be alleviated after some delay. If known, the length of the delay MAY be indicated in a Retry-After header. If no Retry-After is given, the client SHOULD handle the response as it would for a 500 response.
Note: The existence of the 503 status code does not imply that a server must use it when becoming overloaded. Some servers may wish to simply refuse the connection.
Possible Tips: Because of J2EE application com.sap.aii.af.ms.app not active
    • Try to (re)start the application using the Visual Administrator Choose Server --> Services --> Deploy --> View on Application or restart the J2EE engine
    • The problem is that not all J2EE services can be started by the J2EE. i.e Start the Visual Administrator and select Server->Services->Deploy in the tree on the left. On the right-hand side, choose the Runtime tab page. You see a tree in the right window with all applications if you select the APPLICATION radio button. Check if they are running, otherwise choose Start. Usually the J2EE engine starts all services automatically.

If you have not deleted the old file schema, then it should have been work but it seems to be theissues with the link between interface and model .
I cannot say this is the actual reason but it might be. Since you have draged the file datastore to interface, interface is probably pointing to old schema and file model is pointing new schema.
I guess you have to recreate the interface again. Let me know how it is going with you

My scenario is rfc -> file.In receiving adaptor it is giving me this error. I am not able to understand whats going wrong with it.I have checked the parameters specified for file content conversion i think  they are fine.
Please can anyone help me to get out of this..

  • IDOC to File - FCC scenario

    Hi Friends.
Scenario is in PI 7.0 . IDOC is received from SAP and after file content conversion placed in file server.
Suddenly few days back it started throwing error in receiver file FCC communication channel - error is -
Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Exception in XML Parser (format problem?):'java.lang.Exception: Message processing failed in XML parser: 'java.lang.Exception: Column value '       ' too long (>3 for 27. column) - must stop', probably configuration error in file adapter (XML parser error)': java.lang.Exception:  Exception in XML Parser (format problem?):'java.lang.Exception: Message processing failed in XML  parser: 'java.lang.Exception: Column value '       ' too long (>3 for 27. column) - must stop', probably configuration error in file adapter (XML parser error)
but the same scenario with same inputs (same payload, same IR and ID configuration) works fine in development environment.
in SXMB_MONI message shows as SUCCESSFUL and payload is also OK.
Pls suggest what to do in this case..

    Hi,
This is happening because - if there is any empty tag coming from source then target structure tag will not be created and because of which ur payload structure and FCC configuration is not matching.
I would recon use map with default between source n target strcture so in case source tag dont have value target structure will be created because of mapwithdegfault fuction and ur FCC will not fail.
Open SXMB_MONI output payload and compare the structre with Data type u will se for no source value target tag is not created at all and FCC is failed.
For exa- I ahve name, age,*** as my target data type and FCC is 10,3,4
If i dont receive age from source the value of *** is taken as 3 length as per FCC becus age tag is not created in target.

    Raj,
    As i mentioned above,

    Agasthuri Doss,
                               There are no error messages.

  • Dreamweaver Template Error: Error reading file (Site Location/info) returned incomplete data

    Hello!
I am working on new website we are creating for our company. I have never really had any Dreamweaver template file errors before...so this one has me really stumped! We purchased the site files from Template Monster and I have contacted their tech support, but I have not had much luck with them.
I started out by creating the Dreamweaver template folder that includes the template files that I would like to use. I started creating some pages using the template. I placed all the html pages in the main folder of the website. When I go to update the template to those pages I get the following error: "Error reading file (Site Location\Folder name\Dreamweaver template name) returned incomplete data".
I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated!
The site is a CSS based site with a Flash navigation menu. Since it is in the production phase, I do not yet have it placed on a server so you can take a look at it at this time (although if really needed and we cannot find an answer, I may be able to get the test site on line - if someone thinks they can help me answer this problem by viewing the site). Right now the site is housed in the same place we house all of the other sites we have produced and all of our other templates on our other websites work just fine. The main difference with this site is that we did purchase files from Template Monster to help speed us along during the construction of the page structures and also this site has a Flash Navigation Menu and a few other Flash elements (something our other sites do not really have).
I am using Abobe Dreamweaver CS5 and Windows 7
Thanks again for taking the time to help find and answer to this problem!
    -J

I am curious as to why no one likes them around here.
They have spammed these forums in the past.
The code on their pages is rarely 'best-practice' code.
There are much better choices available.
My co-worker and I have to share the files, since we are editing the site together. The files are not local on our computers, but on the company's f drive that have Novell on it.
This arrangement is a recipe for disaster.  The correct way to collaborate on a site with a colleague is with the following setup:
Each of you must have a LOCAL site (local to your workstation)
You would use a single remote location as a staging area, so each of you would have a site definition that specifies your own workstation for the local site, and the same network shared location as the Remote site
You will both need to enable Check In/ Check Out
You will both have to agree to PLAY BY THE RULES!
One (or both) of you will also need to have a second site defined that has the staging server as the local root folder, and would have the PRODUCTION server as the remote site.  I'll explain how to use this site soon.
When you use CI/CO, your 'gold-standard files' are on the staging server.  To begin working, you would connect to the staging server, and double click on a file, which will a) fetch the file from the staging server to your local site, and b) CHECK OUT the file to you.  As long as you have the file checked out, it cannot be edited by your colleague.  When you are done with your edit, you would CHECK IN the file (which uploads it to the staging server).  It can now be edited by your colleague.
When you add templates to this scenario, things get even more complicated, although manageable.  If you ever need to make a change to a template you must use the following procedure:
ALL FILES MUST BE CHECKED IN - this includes both you and your colleague.
One of you would connect with the SECOND SITE, open and edit the template, and save it propagating the changes to all "LOCAL" files (i.e., on the staging server).
Each of you would then need to return to the FIRST SITE, and again check out any files you want to work on.
When changes are done, and files are ready to publish, connect to the SECOND SITE, and upload the files from STAGING to PRODUCTION.
Does that make sense?  It's important that it does.
I need to add in one more tab/link to the Flash nav bar.
Using Flash for navigation is a VERY POOR CHOICE, unless you also have redundant, text-based navigation on the pages.  By using Flash to navigate, you guarantee: a) your pages will not be spiderable by search engines, b) your pages will not be navigable by iPlatforms, and c) your pages will be inaccessible to anyone browsing with screen assistive devices.  Someone is making bad decisions about this site, in my opinion.

    Thank you

    Hi Raja,
The errors an happen at following steps:
    1. Error while picking the file:File adapter error
    2. Error in mapping: error due to incorrect data, incorrect format, corrupt file etc.
    3. While posting Idoc: due to Incorrect userId password, due to structure not matching, destination system being down.

Previously I was using OSX 10.8 and Web Disk was working great.
Since I upgraded to OSX 10.9 Web Disk Dont Attach to my compputer and give me this ERROR:

When I got this ERROR first time I searched GOOGLE and found this link: http://cammodude.blogspot.no/
    And I did:
To force all connections to be SMB1:
    Open A terminal window
paste in the following line followed by the return key(should be all on one line):
    echo "[default]" >> ~/Library/Preferences/nsmb.conf; echo "smb_neg=smb1_only" >> ~/Library/Preferences/nsmb.conf
    What the command does:
Creates a file called nsmb.conf  in your  home directory at the path ~/Library/Preferences/nsmb.conf.
Adds directives to force SMB connections to use the SMB1 protocol.  This is slower but stable.
Then I could use Web Disk on OSX 10.9 after executing this command in Terminal.
But now I restarted my Macbook and now Im NOT able to connect to Web Disk and get the same ERROR.
