Error in Leave Approval Workflow

Hello Experts,
I'm Using Standard Workflow WS0040077 for Leave Approval . I Activated the Event Linkage in SWEL .Did General Task in Agent Assignment . But when i run transaction PA30 . i get this error in SAP Inbox.
Following error occurred:

RFC_NO_AUTHORITY
Message text:
Runtime error RFC_NO_AUTHORITY has occurred

Event linkage not changed.

so what should i do to solve this problem.

Hi,
Have you checked the workflow config in SWU3? It sounds like there may be a problem with the LOCAL RFC destination used by workflow. Click the 'Start Verification Workflow' button in SWU3 as a health check.
Also, are you testing this in the right client?

Error in PO approval workflow

Hi,
We have PO approval workflow.
After all approvers have approved a PO, there is a task ( TS14007956) which sets the status of PO to be released.
Workflow goes into error at this step. 'Setrelease' method of object BUS2201 return the below error message.
"Error changing to status RELP, System status DELT is active"

Dear Gurus,
I've encounter this error message when I'm creating a shopping cart. "No approval workflow found. Inform system administrator"
I've checked the conditions at "SWB_COND" and it looks fine.
I've check Event Type Linkage "t-code SWETYPV" and its active "SAVED". It links to function module SWB_CHECK_FB_START_COND_EVAL.
Cost Centers and HOD are maintain correctly.
Need your advice.

The message you are getting i.e. "No approval workflow found. Inform system administrator" is because no workflow has been activated properly for the business object BUS2121(for the Shopping Cart).
Please check the following:
In SWE2,check whether the event linkage is activated for any of the workflows for the object BUS2121.If atleast one of the workflows for BUS 2121 has been activated,you should not get the message.
If any of the workflows has been activated,please check whether the start conditions for that workflow has been activated or not.Even if the start conditions have not been activated,the error message should not appear as the start conditions need to be checked when 2 workflows are activated in the system for business object BUS2121 for shopping cart.
If more then 1 workflow is activated,check the start conditions for these workflows.

It seems for a particular condition,both the workflows are getting triggered for the event "SC CREATED"..Hence the message...
Please check the start conditions for both the WF's.They should be unique.i.e. Under which case the corresponding worklfow should be triggered should be definate.

people, i have a query ragarding leave approvl workflow. as per standard employee has raised request in ESS, sap will send it to 02, what will happen if position of 002 (reports to) is vacant ? does it automatically and immediately goes to 012 (chief)? what is the chief position is vacant.? does it goes to the O-O and then chief of that org unit?
can the approver forward it to other person in the org strucure by selecting his pernr in MSS.

Hi Manoj,
Check if you are using structure authorizations. If this is the case the substitution will not be able to process the workitem. Otherwise it still could be an authorization problem. Compare the HR authorizations, i suspect the problem will be in there.

How to get Agents in Leave Approval workflow

Hello Experts,
I'm using Standard Workflow for Leave Approval i.e WS 00400077. Since it is Standard Workflow it should get the AGENT automatically. But when i execute ny Workflow and when i check in SWEL Workflow is Working Properly but It is showing
" NO AGENT " is there. so i'm not getting Workitem in Inbox.
So what should i do.

Look in SWI1 instead and see if an agent has been assigned. In some cases "No Agent" can just mean it hasn't be executed yet.

The following error happens when the workflow reaches a step which is a sub-workflow.

Multiple Leave Approval problem in workflow WS21500001 -webdynpro

We are using standard webdyppro leave approval workflow WS21500001, but inhere does not provide multiple approval level. Our requirement is we need two approval levels for this. So I copy the stranded workflow and create the second approval leave. In here Iu2019m unable to send second approval document into the mailbox, I was write rule to get the second approver, its working fine but once the 1st approval finished mail doesnu2019t go to the second approver inbox. Can you help me to do this?

Hello,
Do you mean mail or workitem? I think you mean workitem.
Use tx SWI1 to look at the workflow log and you'll see what the workflow is doing and why it's skipping the second approval step.

HR Leave Approval issues

hi everyone,
I have modified the standard HR Leave approval Workflow WS002000077. In that workflow user decision, Unlock step type, loop steps are available. I am getting user decision workitem in inbox. When i click approve option, i has to go to unlock step type. But it is not going for unlock step.
The same scenario is working good without loop, i can able to unlock it.
So, in this scenario with loop, I am getting following errors;
1. variables of the work item cannot be generated.
2. Error in the evaluation of expression '&EMPLOYEET<???>.NAME&' for item '10'
3. Error when determining attribute 'NAME' of object instance '[BO.EMPLOYEET.]'
4. Agent determination for step '0000000038' failed
5. Source (expression '&EMPLOYEET.ADMINISTRATOR.ADMINISTRATOR&') of binding assignment is not available
6. Source (expression '&EMPLOYEET.ADMINISTRATOR.ADMINISTRATORGROUP&') of binding assignment is not avaible
7. Error in the evaluation of expression '&EMPLOYEET<???>.ADMINISTRATOR.ADMINISTRATORGROUP&' for ite
8. Error in the evaluation of expression '&EMPLOYEET<???>.ADMINISTRATOR.ADMINISTRATOR&' for item '10
here item '10' refers to loop step. I am using custom rule. It is working fine without loop condition.

That one previous workflow and it solved. But now the same one with loop for Re-submission of Leave Request after change.
Actually the values from Employeet is not flowing in the Unlock step for agent determination. Because of that the agent determination is not possible for me. But it works well without loop scenario. Employeet is not instantiated.
Here i am using loop condition for re-submission of leave request.

Approval workflow error when creating a new custom entity in FIM 2010 R2

i'm hoping somebody here can help, me i've been struggling with this for some time now. On a fresh FIM installation i create a custom entity named "Role" and add a few custom attributes.
I then create an approval workflow and MPR for normal users to create entities of type Role, but another user must approve this request. The other user has a working mailbox - i've tried firing an action workflow that sends a mail notification when someone
creates a new role and it is working fine. But, when i enable my approval workflow (the only field i changed from default is the approver) on the MPR, the workflow always failes with the message:
Error processing your request: The operation was rejected because of access control policies.
Reason: The server workflow rejected the operation.

Please make sure the path is correct. also why .zip, why : at the end why blank space? These could be a problem.

PO Approval workflow error

I customized POAPPRV (PO Approval Workflow) and uploaded it successfully to DB. Now when I try to view the workflow for a new PO it gives following error

PO Approval Workflow Customization - Save Validation error

Requirement- we needed to modify PO Approval workflow to add item cost under notification as an additional column. In this process I have tried saving the standard PO Approval workflow but when doing validate it throws an error.
I am using Oracle EBS R12.1.3
and Oracle Workflow Version 2.6.3.5
