Error in loading 0PAPA_C02 cube

Hi experts,
I`ve activated the 0PAPA_C02 cube from business content in order the steps SAP note 336229.
It works fine till master data upload 0EMPLOYEE and 0PERSON.
The problem is when I try to upload to 0PAPA_C02 cube from 0EMPLOYEE and 0PERSON master data.
I use the 0HR_PA_PA_1 standar infosource and 0HR_PA_PA_1 standar datasource .
In the monitoring it finished the job in the step Update the 0PAPA_C02 cube (just after Update rules step).
I receive a short dump:
Name:UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
exception:CX_RSR_X_MESSAGE
I`ve reviewd SAP Notes and nothing for SAP BI 7.0.
Have you got this DUMP in this data flow?

Thank for your response.
I`ve reviewed the help and i know:
All key figures are implemented as non-cumulative values, which keeps the data volume small.
All key figures with the suffix _NC are filled by the OLAP processor at runtime.
*All key figures with the suffix VC are filled by the Headcount InfoSource* (with the exception of the 0AGEVC and 0SRVCLEN_VC key figures which are implemented as virtual key figures, that is they are not updated from the InfoSource).
but i don`t understand why i have a shot dump and don`t finish my upload (it`s not reporting available check). I have transferred row but not inserted rows.
Do you have any ideas?

Error while loading a Cube in BW - "Waiting for Semaphore"

Hello Experts:
I seem to be having a frequent problem while doing a Delta load from BW (3.5) cube to exactly similar cube in BI 7.0.
The load is done daily via a Process Chain. Before doing the Delta load, I also have a step to DELET Index from the
cube in BI. The Delta loads have been successful but frequently they take about 7 or 8 hours to load. The number of
records are not many 80,000 to 140,000 records range. There have been successful loads for similar range withing
7 or 8 minutes. However, when it gets hung up it takes 7 or 8 hours.
Looks like it is a Lock happening in 3.5 BW system. Tcode SM12 shows that it is locked and then in T. Code SM66, it
shows that it is hun for resources..... The message inicated is "Waiting for Semaphore". After about 7 hours, the load
automatically happens.
This is causing issues becuase the upward data loads don't happen and Users can not access the data until late afternoon
for their planning in BPC.
Is there a way this error or Waiting for Semaphore be avoided or time is reduced....? How can I achieve this? Any
fne tuning tricks anyone can suggest please......!!

Thanks to both of you.... ppreciate the feedback. I guess, I will have to wait for the situation to arise again as today's delta went normally. I will see if this happens again. I am not sure whether the Semaphore number is same as the "Work Process Number" in SM66 (which was 3 in my case) or is it the Process ID (which is 22872082 in my case).
If I go to SM50, I shoudl find either the Process ID then.
Would I be searching for the OSS notes corresponding to Process ID (in this case 22872082...? or would it for sempahore number (if it is different .... as I mentioned 3 in my case..?
Could you please clarify which is Semaphore number and if it is same as the process ID I am talking about so that I can search for the right OSS notes.
Also, finding all this will only tell me why it hung.... but is there a way we can make it kick off and not get stuck or I have to wait it out until the resources get released.....? Which in my case then would stil be a wait for 6/7 hours!!

Error while loading Purchasing Cube.

Hi All,
I am loading the data to Purchasing Group Cube "0PUR_C04" with the data source 2LIS_02_SCL. The laod fails saying that "The material MB0214363L does not exist or is not activated" When I checked the same material in R/3 I could see it as the deleted material. I am unable to load the data in BI even when in Error Handling I select "Update valid records". Please guide me in that, its very urgent. I will assign points.

Select the option load even if master does not exists in the InfoPackage
OR
Load the master data for material and activate it
Now reload the transaction data.

Error while loading to Cube

i am loading data from r/3 to dso and then to cube. data loaded fine till dso. when i am trying to load data from dso to infocube, it is giving short dump.
the error is
you attempted to assing field to type field symbol but the field does not have required type
adapt the type of field symbol to the type of the field or use an untyped field symbol or use casting addition

Are you using a routine in the transformation?
Seems you have used the field symbol there and not defined it correctly.

Can I repeat the request? I already check the Monitor and 'No data was uploaded' the status is red at RECONSTRUCTION Tab.

I am getting error while i am loading from ODS to InfoCube.I have extracted data from CRM system to ODS.when i am loading from ODS to infocube i am getting Error as :Value 00000000 of charecteristic 0DATE is not Plausible.

You can use conversion routine for your field 0pstng_date.
The conversion routine which can solve ur prob. Try RSDAT conversion routine.
You have any variable for 0DATE , if so I think its format is YYYYMMDD
, give 99991231 instead of 99993112

Error Data Loading into Cube

Hi,
When I run DTP, I get the error below on SM21. I checked note 1634716 - SYB: Lock timeout or deadlocks and 1933239 - SYB: Shortdumps with resource shortage and runtime error DBIF_SETG_SQL_ERROR but they didn't solve the issue. Any help will be appricated.
Database error 12205 at OPC

I also get same error when I'm trying to collapse cube.
It always get the same error on RSDU_PARTITIONS_INFO_GET_SYB.
I found a correction on 1616762 - SYB: Fix collection for table partitioning but it didn't solve anything. It gives CX_SY_NATIVE_SQL_ERROR on same function. Correction is deleting "at isolation 1" line .
Any idea ?

Invalid character error during load to cube

I have char length 30 and i trying to populate the cube field zpacreanm with values
"barrier" in transformation, please help me should i reduce the length of char to 10
or what should be th solution of error below.

U can do in this way also.......
actually there are no special charectors in ur text, the problem is u r trying to input lower case letters, u either change the lower case letters to upper case or
select the check box 'lower case letters' in info object change/create screen for the particular/ relevant info object.

I am just guessing here as I have never used the duplicate name functionality in Essbase, nor do I remember which versions it was in. However with that said I think your answer is in your error message.
Just guessing again.... It appears that your rule file is set to allow duplicate member names while your database is not. With that information in hand (given to you in the error message) I would start to explore that.

Simply map 0calday to 0fiscper(you already done it)..You might have forgotten to map fiscal year variant in update rules....if it comes from souce,just map it..if it won't comes from source...make it as constant in update rules and give value..
If your business is April to March make it as 'V3'
If your business is January to Decemeber make it as 'K4'..
activate your update rules delete old data and upload again....

Error Message When Loading a Cube

Hello - I received the following error message when I attempted to load a cube:
No SID found for value '0.000' of characteristic 0CURRENCY
Is anyone familiar with this error message? Also, I tested this load in DEV before I moved the cube into QA but I did not receive the error message in DEV. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I had a similar error just a few days ago. I could solve it by replicating the datasources again and activating the transfer structures via rs_transtru_activate_all. After that the load went fine.

Error when loading cube

I get the following error repeatedly when trying to load data into my copa cube;
InfoObject SALESDEAL does not contain alpa-conforming value 89866
The value (shown here as 89866) could be any number between 1 and 99999. No matter what the number happens to be I'm getting this type of error.
FACTS: My infoObject (0SALESDEAL) length is set to 10 and the conversion routine is ALPHA which should pad with leading zeros.
Any ideas why this is generating an error upon loading? Should I turn off the conversion routine?

This was happend because of Alpha Conversion as buddies said before. Unfortunatley it happend on this infoobject and you will find some more as and when they get..
by default BW expects that R/3 will send the Alpha converted values.. (if the infoobject is 10 digits/chars ..r/3 will send exactly the same) .. if data gets loaded like say from flatfiles, the system will do it for you..
by checking the box in the Transfer Rules, we are proposing to the system to take care of alpha conversion for that infoobject even if the data comes from R/3..

Data load buffer [1] does not exist error when loading cube

I'm trying to load data using Essbase Studio. Everything was working fine, the load used to occur very quickly.
After updating the SQL query to load a larger period ( 5 years instead of 2 ), the load fails after exactly 10 minutes ! I'm wondering if there's a timeout configuration or something similar in Essbase because I have other cubes that has large queries that are stopping after exactly 10 minutes.
The environment is:
Essbase 11.1.2.1 on Linux 64 bits
Data source: Oracle 10r2 database

Hi Amit,
This conversion problem. Calender not maintained for Fiscal variant "V3", for Year: 1008.
Maintain calender for year: 1008 and transfer global setting from soruce(R/3).
RSA1--> Source systems --> from context menu --> transfer global settings > choose fiscal year variants and calender> execute
