Error in Material Initial Load.

Hi Gurus,
I am replicating materials from ECC to SRM, but the BDOcs in SMW01 have errors, alhtough they appear succesful.
The error is: "Mat. for Initial Download: Table not supported by function - Message no. C_"
All the materials have been replicated, but what is missing are three custom fields that we need to replicate from ECC and for which we have made an enhancment.
This issue is happening in QAS, and in DEV everything went fine. We have checked and all the transports have been succesfully moved from DEV to QAS.

i had the same problem and the problem comes because of the following reason.
1) the product category corresponding to the material is not available (or) is still not replicated in the SRM system.
solution is a) check whether all the product categories are already replicated correctly in the SRM system , if not restart the replication of master data ( product category, unit of measure).
b) once the product category is available , then restart the inbound queue , so that the replication of the material is started again.

Error in DNL_CUST_PROD1 Initial Load

While attempting to carry out the initial load for object (DNL_CUST_PROD1) from R/3 to CRM an inbound queue is generated with status SYSFAIL containing the following error message:
It is not posible to import material type to hierarchy ZBP_CRM_PT....
(Message no. SR053)
The Hierarchy mentioned in the message refers to one that was created manually in CRM before the initial load.
It was under my understanding that the only hierarchy impacted by the initial load was the R3MATCLASS, then why is this error generated for another hierarchy that should not be involved?
Regarding this issue I feel I have two options:
1. Delete the hierarchy in CRM and restart the initial load. (The only problem here is that I have found it really dificult to carry out the deletion, because it means I have to delete products and IObjects created in CRM that are associated to this hierarchy)
2. Try to find a way to prevent error to appear in the inbound queue. (for example in debugging try to bypass the logic that processes the manually created hierarchy)
Please I would greatly appreciate to get an answer from anyone that has encounterd similar problems.

Just have a look into the corresponding entry in ST22 .
The problem persists due to the duplicate entries in the table T023 or .
Delete them directly from the table using se16:
Select the entries in the classic view (not ALV or grid view). activate the debugger.
Press the view button. --> you'll enter in the debugger
Press F7
Locate the sy-ucomm variable & change it to "DELE".
Press F8
Delete the entries.
Trick-shots but it works!

Error AS ABAP initial load

At my initial load AS ABAP, the following error showed up:
putNextEntry failed storingS_A.SHOW
Exception from Add operation:com.sap.idm.ic.ToPassException: ToIDStore.addEntry failed storing entry 'S_A.SHOW'. IDStore returned error message: " No such attribute:Attribute: ACCOUNTM23_ME5" when storing attribute 'ACCOUNTM23_ME5=S_A.SHOW'
Exception from Modify operation:com.sap.idm.ic.ToPassException: ToIDStore.modEntry failed updating entry 'S_A.SHOW'. IDStore returned error message: "Entry does not exist" when fetching entry
This error message affects all users. Where can I add the missing attributes?

SYSFAIL error SMQ2 during initial load of PLANTs

Hello Everyone,
We are on CRM50 and during the process of the initial download of plants not all plants were replicated. Now we are attempting another load using DNL_PLANT and getting the following error:
Business partner ##1 does not exist. I have not seen this error before and I am not sure how to proceed.

Hello Tiest,
That did not seem to be the issue. I went through and validated the load objects and there was some new configuration in the sales area which I moved over. All other objects loaded correctly.
When I executed DNL_PLANT got:
Not all address numbers have yet been issued.
More confused then before. Any other thoughts?

Order Type Transaction Error in Customer_Main Initial Load

Hi,
We have recently copied back our Production System to our Test System in R/3. We are now in the process of filtering the CUSTOMER_MAIN into our CRM 2007 Test System from the new updated Test System in R/3
However, when loading the objects into CRM we are getting the following BDoc errors in smw01:
Business transaction type ZXXX does not exist
Area: CRM_ORDERADM_H
No.500
These are Order Types that have been created in the R/3 System. However, how can we prevent these order types from coming across??
Order Types are not relevant to us when we are bringing across Customers.

Microsoft JScript compilation error alert on initial load using IE7

I have noticed that a javascript alert window is displayed whenever an Applet is initially launched using IE7.
This does not happen using IE8 (or FF, SF, Chrome, etc).
I thought it was our implementation, but the alert is also shown launching any Applet from the following;
http://java.sun.com/applets/jdk/
There are typically 2 alerts and after pressing OK, the Applets appear to run successfully.
The specific error is;
Alert title: Microsoft JScript compilation error.
Alert content: Expected ')' in regular expression.
I don't always remember this error using IE7.
Maybe it's related to the JRE?
I am currently using: (build 1.6.0_26-b03)
Any solution out there?

I just had a look at the source of two of the pages from the 1.4 section of that page (Animator (1) & ArcTest) & saw some very questionable HTML for the <tt>applet</tt> element, as well as two seemingly unrelated scripts. No initial load of Customers, Material and delta load of Sales Orders.

I am facing a very troublesome issue. I am not able to setup the Middleware portion for initial and delta loads. I read a lot of documents and corrected a lot of things. finally, the connectivity is done with R/3 and CRM. Initial load of all objects is successful (as per Best PRactices guide). Customizing load is successful.
But after now I have these open issues for which I am unable to find any answers (am really exhausted!!):
- Customer_main load, it was succesful, but no BP's of R/3 are available.
- Material, it failed in SMW01, SMQ2, the errors are:
Mat. for Initial Download: Function table not supported
EAN xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx does not correspond to the GTIN format and cannot be transferred
EAN yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy does not correspond to the GTIN format and cannot be transferred
Plant xx is not assigned to a business partner
- Sales order, it shows green bdoc, but error segments says "No upload to R/3" and the order does not flow to R/3.
We had our system setup 3 years back for data transfer and Middleware. But few things changed and connectivity stopped. I did all that again now, but am not yet successful. Any inputs will be greatly appreciated.

The error messages in SMW01 for MAterial initial load is :
     Mat. for Initial Download: Function table not supported
     EAN 123456789000562 does not correspond to the GTIN format and cannot be transferred
     EAN 900033056531434 does not correspond to the GTIN format and cannot be transferred
     Plant 21 is not assigned to a business partner
I have done the DNL_PLANT load successfully. Why then the plant error?
Some of the messages for BP:
Messages for business partner 1331:
No classification is assigned to business partner 1331
For another,
     Partner 00001872(469206A60E5F61C6E10000009F70045E): the following errors occurred
     City Atlanta does not exist in country US
     Time zone EST_NA does not exist
     You are not allowed to enter a tax jurisdiction code for country US
     Validation error occurred: Module CRM_BUPA_MAIN_VAL, BDoc type BUPA_MAIN.
Now, the time zone EST is assigned by default in R/3. Where do I change that? I do not want to change time zones as this may have other impacts. Maybe CRM I cna change this, not for sure in R/3. City check has been deactivated in R/3 and CRM, still the error.
Till these 2 are not solved, I cannot go into the Sales order loads.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Error in Initial Load of Products from ECC to CRM

Hi ,
Im getting below errors In initial load of MATERIAL from ECC to CRM.
Data cannot be maintained for set type COMM_PR_MAT
Data cannot be maintained for set type COMM_PR_UNIT
Data cannot be maintained for set type COMM_PR_SHTEXT
My Analysis is
I found these set types are already assigned in other base category and around 100+ materials are created using this base category.
After initial load of DNL_CUST_PROD1, i found these set types are not assigned to any of the categories of hierarchy R3PRODSTYP. Since R3PRODSTYP is not having above set types, my initial load is failing.
Required Solution
Is there any other way, I can download materials from ECC to CRM, with out deleting the existing materials and Z hierarchy created earlier from CRM.

Try to attach the Set Types:
"COMM_PR_MAT", "COMM_PR_UNIT", "COMM_PR_SHTEXT", COMM_PR_BATCH, COMM_PR_LGTEXT, COMM_PR_LGTEXT1,COMM_PR_LGTEXT2,
to the Category "MAT_" and then run the Initial load again.
It should work now unless you have some other issues.

Perform rollback occurs during initial load of material

Hi Gurus,
When we try to do the initial load of materials, only some part of the materials are replicated to SRM. We have the R3AC1 filter of taking only the materials with Purchasing view. We have no other filter. Although there are 576 materials that match this filter, only 368 materials are replicated to SRM.
One thing we have observed is that when we have a look at SM21 (System Log) we see "Perform rollback" actions. Below is the details of the log. Can anyone help on our issue?

Iam doing Middleware setup for downloading customer master from R/3 to CRM.Iam trying to do initial load of customizing objects viz.,DNL_CUST_ACGRPB,DNL_CUST_ADDR,
DNL_CUST_KTOKD,DNL_CUST_TVKN,DNL_CUST_TVLS,DNL_CUST_TVPV... which are to be loaded before doing initial load of CUSTOMER_MAIN.

But in SMWP transaction I can see in

Connection Refused Error while running AS ABAP Initial Load

All,
I've never connected SAP NW IdM to an actual SAP system before, and I feel like I'm missing some obvious step of configuration, but I can't figure out what.
We are in the process of trying provision user accounts to our SAP ABAP systems. My first step was to try to read all of the existing accounts from the ABAP system:
Our Basis team created me a Communication user with the proper authorizations (I ensured that the authorizations included in SAP_BC_SEC_IDM_COMMUNICATION)
I created a repository using the SAP NewWeaver AS ABAP (Specific Application Server) Repository Template (No CUA, No SNC) using that user's credentials
I then used the Job Wizard and used the job template AS ABAP - Initial Load, specifying my repository above.
When I run the job I get the following:

Error Init failed
I'm running SAP NW IdM 7.1 SP5 on Windows Server 2003 with MSSQL 2005. The ABAP server is on a UNIX box with an Oracle 10.2 dB.
Is there additional configuration that needs to take place on the ABAP side to accept the connection?
I've tried to find documentation on this, but have been unsuccessful. If someone could point me to the correct documents, or at least point me in the right direction for troubleshooting, it would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like the endpoint URL of the webservice is not updated and still pointing to the localhost. Try changing it to http://<ip_addres_of_your_server>:7101..... and see if it works fine then.

Initial Load Error - No generation performed. Call transaction GN_START

Hi Folks,
We are doing middleware configuration for data migration between R3->CRM.Have followed "Best Practies" configuration Guide.
System Using; CRM 2007 and ECC6.0
Issue
While performing initial load, system is throwing the error as
001- No generation performed. Call transaction GN_START
002-Due to system errors the Load is prohibited (check transaction MW_CHECK)!
After calling the transaction GN_START system asks for job scheduling,whereas I have already scheduled it.
A job is already scheduled periodically.
Clicking on 'Continue' will create another job
that starts immediately.
After checking(MW_CHECK),message is displayed as
No generation performed. Call transaction GN_START.
If anybody has encountered the similar issue and has resolved it,their guidence will be greatly appriciated.

Veera,
We also faced the same problem when we have done the upgrade from CRM 4.0 to CRM 2007.
For that you go to SMWP where you can see all the errors related to Middleware with the error message so try to remove the error,
Also pls check in RZ20 and activate the middleware trace tree.

'User is Locked' error while trying to start initial load

While trying to start initial load of objects using R3AS, I am receiving error msg 'User is locked'. This rfc user is a dialog user with SAP_ALL. I even tried replicating using a new user, but ended up with same error. The user is not locked but still getting the same error msg via status 'SYSFAIL' in the queue. Any suggestions?

AJ,
The RFC user must be a communication user or a system user. I think you mentioned the RFC user is a dialog user, which would be wrong settings definitely.
Also as mentioned by Marcin, ensure the passwords in the RFC destination of SRM and R/3 are the same as the passwords in SU01 of the respective systems. To ensure this, click on remote logon for the RFC destination in SM59. If the screen doesnot change, this means your systems are connecting through the RFC user without any problem.

I have below errors left while doing Initial load for AS ABAP as follows
Error type 1:
Error :runFunctionsInString($FUNCTION.sap_encryptPassword()$$) got exception - Exception:org.mozilla.javascript.JavaScriptException: java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError
I referred page 37 in System landscape configuration guide. but could not understand what and where password has to be set.
Could you please suggest me how to solve this two problem.
Also i would like to know where the Users, roles,profiles will be written in Identity store.
