  • Error in pricing when doing sourcing in EBP 4.0

    Hello,
We're experiencing random errors when doing sourcing in EBP 4.0. The shopping carts don't seem to have any similarities that could launch the error. There has been few cases when the same error has occured when user is creating a shopping cart.
The problem occures when doing sourcing and the shopping cart is either being held or a PO is created. The error creates dump in ST22, "UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION". This is somehow related to pricing and we have checked note 673372 and ran report BBP_CND_CUSTOMIZING_CHECK, all OK. IPC is running the same SP level as SRM, SP level 10.
We have already created an OSS about this, but as this is completely random we haven't been able to reproduce the error and no solution has been found.
    Here's some data from ST22:

    Hi
Please refer to following SAP Notes:
Note 860935 - pricing customizing exits are missing
    Note 673372 - Short dumps UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION in SRM 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0
Also try to implement the latest IPC patches following the instructions from note 880749, then restart the VMC. It worked for us, after trying many things with no luck.
Alternatively, try this as well. There must be some problem with VMC. Most probably java connection problem. Please execute program RSVMCRT_HEALTH_CHECK in SE38 transaction. You should see green for all 4 messages in the result. Please contact your basis consultant and refer notes 854170 (and 844817)

    Note 673372 - Short dumps UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION in SRM 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0

  • How to change pricing formula using bapi_salesorder_change

    Hi,
I have a customer  portal web application developed in .Net from which I will be getting different values which are changes related to a particular sales order item in SAP. One among these values is the pricing formula used with the sales order item. I am using bapi_salesorder_change to update all the values other than the pricing formula. My input to the bapi is the formula id. I am not sure about the field which I have to use in the bapi structures to update the same. Also I don't even know whether I can use the same bapi to do the required task.
    Requesting help ....
    Thanks,
    Siva

    Sir,
Thank you for your immediate response.
Actually we are integrating SAP with the customer portal web application. The requirement is in such a way that the customer portal provides the option to change the sale order details both at the header level as well as item level. The fields include Order qty,Delivery date,Partner details,Payment terms,Terms of sale, Pricing formula etc. The front end consists of a Pricing formula drop down which consists of  the formula descriptions (for eg: ZFA1015-LAST LME W/DAY OF CONT. MOTH) with its corresponding ID(ID is nothing but ZFA1015). At the SAP side my RFC should pick it up and update it for the given item. The process is like if we go to VA02 we have an option called MAINTAIN FORMULA from where we can change the formula used with an item. There the formula id is obtained from the formula repository. In here the we already have the Formula ID given by the front end.
Hope you are clear wtith the requirement..
    Requesting help..

  • Internal error during pricing in CRM service order

    Hello Guys,
Here is an issue when i add line item in service order, it pops up with an error message " Internal error during pricing "at header & line item. Its observed that output tax condition type MWST is not called from TTE. Pricing procedure has picked up perfectly & even TTE setting is maintained which in turn calls Tax Calculation procedure 11000. But then we are unable to trace where system is falling to call MWST condition type. Request you to guide me on the issue.

    Hi Srinivas dev,
Just check the key define for the ODS, and the Record for that line where it is giving error at PSA. I think there is no value for the Key maintain for the ODS.

  • Error in a formula function

    Hi,
i ran the infopackge.load was failed.failed request is showing Record 1 :Error in a formula function (routine ROUTINE_0001 ), record 1 .why this error is coming.how can i solve this issue?
    Thanks,
    Ali

    Hi,
As refered by the posts above , you need to edit the data in to PSA, now try going through the procedure below:
    1. Once data is loaded till PSA , ther will be a "process Manually Tab" in the status of the ip, press that.
    2. Now you will get the error in the processing packets .
3.make the IP red , delete the failed request from target( Info cube), sice for DSO there is a specific procedure.
4.now go bak to ip click on the psa tab, the error displays record '1', so select the first record in PSA, put the size of the record in the no. of error records and select " error record".
    5. now you will se this error record in the PSA.
    6. Click on the edit record , you will se the canonical structure of the record with its field.
    7. No try editing th record for there might be a entry which seems to be diff from other(compare with correctly loaded records).
    8. edit it , save the changes.
    9. now either recostructing the PSA or manually pushing the failed request to target.
Hope this will serve your cause

  • Error in Dimension formula to find the average price

    Hi all,
I have tried a dimension formula to find the average price of Product.
if the product is a parent level member then average price should be the average of the list price, other wise it should be the list price itself.
    IIF([PRODUCT].CURRENTMEMBER.PROPERTIES("CALC")="N",[KEYFIGURES].[LISTPRICE],AVG(DESCENDANTS([PRODUCT].CURRENTMEMBER,[KEYFIGURES].[LISTPRICE],LEAVES)))
While i tried the same i received some strange error , i don know whether its having some dependency on the Customer dimension. since K0030101 is a memebr belonging to CUSTOMER dimension.
MDX statement error:"Value K0030101 for characteristic /CPMB/U6D7SXT un"
I'm not sure whether its an error with  the formula i created or any dependancy issue or whether this scenario is possible  using  dimension formulas or not.
    Thanks in advance .
    Anila Mohan

    Hi everyone!
We are using BPC 7.5 NW SP08 and we've had the same error message while adding a formula to the Account dimension:
'MDX statement error: "Value 1 for characteristic /CPMB/S9D7Q23 un".
We then checked in BW for /CPMB/S9D7Q23 and found out that it was the Product dimension.
The solution for the issue was quite interesting. I had seen in another post that sometimes CALC property was not correctly determined for SP08. The solution proposed was to edit dimension members, clear ParentH1 column, process dimension, re-edit, paste back ParentH1 values and process dimension again. This corrected CALC property problem.
It also worked for my case. After doing it to Product dimension I tried again to set the formula in Account dimension and it worked!!
    Hope this helps.

  • Pricing Formula

    Hi all,
I have a requirement where I need to create pricing formula (VOFM -> Formulas -> Condition Value). I have done some coding as per the requirement in RV64A600 and activated it also. I kept a break-point in the program but if I go to VA02 -> Item Conditions it's not stopping. Can you please tell how to debug it. Advance thanks.
    Regards,
    Balaji Viswanath.

    Hi
Have you created a routine of your own.
We have to create routines after <b>900</b> Numbers only
but as per your program it appears that it is 600 (see the program RV64A<b>600</b>)
Copy a 900 number routine and copy the code from an existing one, save it and Activate it
then check whether it is firing  the break point or not.
    Reward points if useful

  • How do you trace an error in a formula/function?

I have a very complex formula in one of my cells, and there is an error. The little help box that explains the error doesn't help me, as I still can't find the error? Is there any way to trace the error? I know that Excel has such a function, I was hoping Numbers had one too. It says "The operator '*' expects a number but found "." I have 12 products in my formula, and I can't find an error in the formula or in any cell. I searched the document for "." but it only found some in my comments. Thanks

Copy the formula and paste it here and we'll take a look at it.
