  • Error on saprouter installation (Windows 2003 server)

    Hi everyone,
    We are setting up our SAProuter server specifically for our SAP remote connection and Solution Manager setup but encountered an error. I am using Windows 2003. I've already acquired certificate by issuing command sapgenpse get_pse -v -r certreq -p local.pse. I have no idea what the error is all about. Unfortunately, I am no Network Admin expert if this is about network issues. Would very much appreciate some enlightenment and help from you guys. Thanks!

    Hi Markus, yes .pse file is located in the same directory as the saprouter executables.
    Also, when I tried to execute sapgenpse get_my_name -p local.pse I got the ff. error:
    D:\SAProuter>sapgenpse get_my_name -p local.pse
    get_my_name: Couldn't open PSE "D:\SAProuter\local.pse"

    ERROR in des_decrypt_end: (1792/0x0700) wrong or inconsistent padding decrypted
    And then tried running sapgenpse get_my_name -v -n Issuer and got the ff:
    D:\SAProuter>sapgenpse get_my_name -v -n Issuer
    get_my_name: no PSE name supplied, SSO credentials not readable for you!
    running seclogin with USER="XXXXXX"

             D:\SAProuter\local.pse
          NOT readable for XXXXXX
    NO readable SSO-Credentials available (total 1)
    I really am so confused as to what is happening here since it seems I successfully acquired the certificate and when I run sapgenpse seclogin -p local.pse -O administrator I got the ff. message which seems successfully completed:
    D:\SAProuter>sapgenpse seclogin -p local.pse -O administrator
    running seclogin with USER="XXXXXX"

    Added SSO-credentials for PSE "D:\SAProuter\local.pse"

  • Error in SAProuter 38.10

    Hi,
    We just switched our SAPRouter from Host A to Host B.
    When trying to open service connection from SAP Market Place, here's the error we get:
    The remote function call library returned the following error message:
    SAP_CMINIT3 : rc-20 > Connect to SAP gateway failed
    Connect_PM DEST=o01,
    GWHOST=/H/HOST_A/S/3299/H/194.117.106.129/S/3299/H/oss001.wdf.sap-ag.de/S/3301, GWSERV-sapgw01, SYSNR=01
    LOCATION   SAProuter 38.10 on 'HOST_A'
    ERROR
    Any ideas what's wrong?
    I looked up some posts here and tried to telnet to HOST_A and it worked.

    Hi,
    If you changed the host where the saprouter is running then it is quite possible that the saprouter running on SAP side (194.117.106.129) does not know your new host, and it is rejecting the connection.
    Create a support message using component XX-SER-NET so they help you setting this up.

    I suppose XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX is your router's public ip for the router. The error shows that its not able to connect to 3299 of the public ip XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX. Did you check if 3299 is open on your local firewall ? Please ask your network administrator to check if the ip XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX is properly natted with the router server and port 3299 is open in the firewall.

    Hello Eric,
    Please refer to SAP Note 130683.
    Make sure the sidadm has rwx persmissions on the file being uncarred and all the files in the directory where SAPCAR resides including . and .. (. & .. are usually hidden)
    Hope that helps.

  • SAP Router configuration on Linux platform (error in start script)

    Hello gurus,
    I´m trying to setup the saprouter on Fedora v14 (32 bits).
    I did all the configure with root user. The problem is when I run the script that starts the saprouter service, it show me the following error:
    [root@saprouter sap]# pwd
    /usr/sap/saprouter
    [root@saprouter saprouter]# saprouter_start
    /usr/sap/saprouter/saprouter_start: line 12: syntax error near unexpected token `|'
    'usr/sap/saprouter/saprouter_start: line 12: `        | tee -a $LOGFILE &
    The content of this script, has the following sintaxes:
    # Start saprouter
    # You can automatically start SAProuter when you start the system. In UNIX for example, you would change file /etc/rc.
    # saprouter CN=saprouter, OU=0001214237, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE sapserv2
    SRDIR=/usr/sap/saprouter
    LOGFILE="usr/sap/saprouter/saprouter_log"
    if [ -f $SRDIR/saprouter ] ; then
            echo "Starting SAP Router" | tee -a $LOGFILE
    $SRDIR/saprouter -r -R $SRDIR/saprouttab -G $LOGFILE -W 60000 -K "p:CN=saprouter, OU=0001214237, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE"
            | tee -a $LOGFILE &
    fi
    The strange of this is I already did this type of configuration on Linux with the same scripts... but in red hat enterprise linux x86_64 and in there it works perfectly!

    Can you help me please in way to solve this problem...?!
    Best regards,
    João Dimas - Portugal

    Hello Clebio,
    First al all, please don´t forget to read my previous message.
    I´m writing again because I made other tests that I would like to show you...!
    1- In my previous message I mentioned an error when I ran directly the command # saprouter -r... and as you recomend, I typed the "ldd saprouter", the output of this show that libstdc+.so.5: was not found! I already solve this issue, I installed the compat-libstdc+ with # yum install compat-libstdc++. So... now when I run that "ldd saprouter" the result is:
    [root@saprouter saprouter]# ldd saprouter
         linux-gate.so.1 =>  (0x003a9000)
         libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x00911000)
         librt.so.1 => /lib/librt.so.1 (0x00918000)
         libstdc++.so.5 => /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5 (0x00110000)
         libm.so.6 => /lib/libm.so.6 (0x00923000)
         libgcc_s.so.1 => /lib/libgcc_s.so.1 (0x00966000)
         libpthread.so.0 => /lib/libpthread.so.0 (0x008f4000)
         libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x00768000)
         /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x00747000)
    It seems that is solved! Is not it?
    2- After that correction, I ran again the # saprouter -r but now it show me the following error:
    [root@saprouter saprouter]# saprouter -r
    trcfile  dev_rout
    no logging active
    *** ERROR => invalid lines in './saprouttab', see 'dev_rout' [nirout.cpp   8006]
    ... next, what I did was, I opened the dev_rout:
    trc file: "dev_rout", trc level: 1, release: "700"
    Thu Aug 11 13:10:49 2011
    SAP Network Interface Router, Version 38.10
    command line arg 0:     saprouter
    command line arg 1:     -r
    main: pid = 9808, ppid = 2038, port = 3299, parent port = 0 (0 = parent is not a saprouter)
    reading routtab: './saprouttab'
    *** ERROR => SNC field without SNC active, skip line 2 [nirout.cpp   7775]
    *** ERROR => SNC field without SNC active, skip line 3 [nirout.cpp   7775]
    *** ERROR => SNC field without SNC active, skip line 8 [nirout.cpp   7775]
    ... and I also checked my saprouttab in there I see...:
    1. vim saprouttab
    # SNC connection to and from SAP
    KT "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 194.39.131.34 *
    KT "p:CN=saprouter, OU=000121987, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 81.193.132.663 3299
    # SNC connection to local system for R/3-Support
    # R/3 Server: 192.168.34.178
    # R/3 Instance: 00
    KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 192.168.34.178 3200
    # Access from the local Network to SAP
    P * 194.39.131.34 3299
    # Deny all other connections
    #D * * *
    What´s the problem!??! I don´t get it!! My God... I don´t understand, all the entries in saprouttab seems well to me! Can you verify this please?! It´s correct, isn´t it?
    Can you help me!?
    Thank you

  • PM Notification from ERP 6 to ERP 4.7 via IDOC

    Hallo,
    can you help me? I'll sent an PM notification from an ERP6 to an ERP 4.7 via IDOC an the same back. Did I've a chance to do this without a lot of programming with standard Function modules for example. I'm interested in all solutions. The ERP 6 side I've configured, with a SAP standard message type INOTIF and process code /ISDFPS/NO01 that works all fine. The IDOC receives in the ERP 4.7, but I can't handle it on this side. Changes in on ERP must sent to the other side.
    Thank you for all your help!
    Best regards
    Martin

    Hi Tony
    the RFC user-id needs to be a COMMUNICATION user (or CPIC, for older releases).
    Martin
    IGNORE WHAT I JUST SAID..... Do not use Communication type users at all anymore. Use SYSTEM / SERVICE users only....
    The reasoning behind this is well explained in [User Type Communication|User Type Communication].  You can also check the [Best Practice - How to analyze and secure RFC connections |http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/Security/BestPractice-HowtoanalyzeandsecureRFC+connections] wiki entry, however, it doesn't really help on debugging errors.
    SAProuter String: /H/xxx.xxxxxx.com/S/<;saprouter_port>/W/<saprouter_pwd>/H/
    Target Host: /H/xxx.xxxxxx.com/S/<;saprouter_port>/H/<server_name>.<domain><local>/H/
    You don't appear to be specifying the saprouter password in your SM59 router string
