Error in subroutine READ_NAMTB

Hi,
While posting an idoc through the test tool WE19, we are encountering an error 'Error in subroutine READ_NAMTB for structure of infotype'. We are using the extended idoc type ZRMD_A06 with a custom segment containing the PERNR and some other details.
Are we missing out on something?Please advise!

It was a bug in SP2, it is fixed in SP2 Patch 4.

Error in subroutine read_namtb for structure of infotype

We are trying to transfer HR Master data between ERP 5.0 and ECC 6.0 systems .
The data transfer is successful in the development and Quality environments but fails in case of production environment.
Details are given below
Message type : HRMD_A
Idoc type : HRMD_A06    ( Release 620 )
When we try running PFAL using any evaluation path the idoc at the receiver ends up with an status 51 (error) .
The error log gives the following error .
u201CError in subroutine read_namtb for structure of infotypeu201D.
I tried posting the received Idoc again at the receiving end using the transaction WE19 with the function module u201CIDOC_INPUT_HRMDu201D .
The observations are given below.
1.     While processing some of the records the infotype table name field becomes empty .
2.     The subroutine read_namtb uses a FM u201CNAMETAB_GETu201D , which takes the input as the infotype table name and provides the output as all the fields of the table along with the attributes of the field.
3.     As sometimes the table name is passed empty the function module returns an error which is mentioned above.
Note : If we run PFAL without providing any evaluation path the idoc at receiver ends up with status 52 ( Application not posted completely).

I will activate those BADI's and check.
But we solved the problem in a different way.
Below is the analysis of the error.
1.     The data was getting passed in an additional segment E1PAD007 in the production environment from the sender system.
2.     During the inbound process the FM u201CRH_INFTY_OF_IDOCSEG_TYP_GETu201D is used to identify the respective infotype and the subtype
for the segment name in the receiver system.
3.     The function module searches for the tables T777D and table T77ar to fetch the infotype and the subtype.
4.     The table T77ar does not contain the relevant entry .
5.     The segment is related to a relationship u201C007u201D between jobs and positions.
6.     As we do not need jobs in the target system, we removed the object type u2018Cu2019 from the model distribution. This resolved the error.
Note : The other way to resolve was to make an appropriate entry in the table T77AR .

Error in ALE-IDOC related to HR data posting in ECC 6.0

Hello People,
Upgradation done from 4.6B to ECC 6.0.
Here the data comes from the 3rd part s/w and then gets posted through a Z program which in tern calls SAP standard program " RSEINB00" and FM "IDOC_INBOUND_FROM_FILE" is used in this std program to post the data to the corresponding HR tables through IDOC postings.
ALE-IDOC Z program works fine in 4.6B but gives error in ECC 6.0.

Procedure
Check the entry for infotype in table T777D (structure, IDoc segment, expanded structure) and the corresponding structures.
As per the error message it seems that some table () needs to be maintained with some values, but this was working fine with the 4.6 B with current settings.
Is this error due to version change to ECC 6.0? What extra settings need to be done with respect to IDOC so that the posting program works fine without giving the stated error. Kindly let me know.

Please keep in mind ECC 6.0 is an UniCode based system.
as 4.6C was not,
did the Z-program have been tested before in the current environment?
Some special functions (keywords hints ...) are no longer supported after the upgrade.,
this was shown during the upgrade in the unicode migration tools
For sure all the own programms needs to be verfied, after an upgrade.
commonly this should be done
in the quality assurance test to avoid touble in production.

if you would like to debug do like this :
- Prepare your transaction
- in the transaction field put /hs
- set a breakpoint to the statement : message
- execute (F8)

HRMD_A IDoc Error Handling

We are distributing organization data to another system from our HR system using ALE with message type HRMD_A. In the target system, under transaction BD87, we have a few IDocs in status 51 and 52.
For status 51, I currently have the following error: "Error in subroutine read_namtb for structure of infotype", and also "HR: ALE inbound processing for HR master data" - This last one is the name of our distribution model. Neither error message gives much detail - How do I go about finding out the cause of the problem?
Fpr status 52, I also have the error "HR: ALE inbound processing for HR master data" - Again this is the name of the distribution model. Not sure what to do with these..?
What should be done about these? I can't reprocess either status, so what do I need to do to correct the problem?

Regarding status 51, the most common reason is that the link 007 between position and job cannot be distributed using ALE with the HR standard system. Please implement note 661605. It applies whenever relationship 007 is distributed. Remove the entries detailed in the note in T77AR as explained there in the source system. This way this additional segment will not be distributed and the IDOC will be able to be sent with no errors. So, please make sure that in the source system in T77AR Substructure for additional data and Screen additional data are empty (as they should be also in the target system).
Please can you check out table T77s0 for switch HRALX HRAC if it is activated in your target system? If not please set it up to 'x' and try again.

Problem with data distribution from HCM to e-Recruiting

Hello masters:
I have a problem when I try to distribute data from HCM to e-Recruiting. I´m getting code 51 just for the PA infotypes segments (E1P0000, E1P0001, etc.). The error message tha I am receiving is:
"Error in subroutine read_namtb for structure of infotype".
My e-Recruiting system is SAP EHP 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0, so I'm using Business Partners for storing data from PA infotypes.
I'm using message type HRMD_ABA, basic type HRMD_ABA05.
I think it could be the implementation HRRCF00_INBD_NEWMOD from the badi HRALE00INBOUND_IDOC, because it usually get inactive even though I go to activate it.
Does anybody knows what can I do?

Ifyou are using EhP1 for NW 7.0 you should have E-Recruiting 600 EhP 4 on your system.
I never encountered this special error message so far, so i have to "guess". The message indicates that the system had trouble reading some infotype information.
The ALE distribution for EhP4 is storing the PA data in new infotypes 558*. The error you get points to a missing BAdI activation. If the BAdIs are not activated correctly, ALE will try to write the information from the PA infotypes 1 to 1 into the E-Recruiting system. But E-Recruiting does not know the PA infotypes which should exactly lead to the error you get.
Could you check the following settings:

Organization structure in CRM 7.0 from ECC and HR

We are trying to download Org structures from ECC and HR. (CRM 7.0, HR & R/3 ECC 6.0)
From HR
The ALE distribution is set across the systems CRM and HR and I did the PFAL run as per the best practices BB C05. There are about 100,000 Idocs inbound to CRM system and out of which about 15K are in 51 status and the rest are in 53 status.
Observations:
The Organization structure from HR is not totally mapped in CRM but only a part of it is displayed in PPOMA_CRM.
The remaining Org units are found in 'non-related objects' selection.
All the Idocs in failure are in error "Error in subroutine read_namtb for structure of infotype ". When I go to the long text

Diagnosis
An error has occurred in subroutine read_namtb for structure of infotype .
Procedure
Check the entry for infotype in table T777D (structure, IDoc segment, expanded structure) and the corresponding structures.
I am not sure which infotype needs to be checked in T777D.
From ECC
The CRM - ECC connectivity is set. Downloaded all the required customizing objects successfully. Switched the org model to "enhanced backend integration version " and then followed on to SPRO->CRM->Master Data->Organizational Management->Data transfer->Copy SAP ECC structure and selected all the available R/3 Organization assignments available and then selected the "generate selected lines".
Observations:
All the generated org units are in GREEN in SPRO but there are no assignments found in PPOMA_CRM not even in the unrelated objects
Checked tables HRP1000 and HRP1001 from the CRM Sales org unit IDs (ex: O 5000012) created here and they are not found but the generation is in GREEN.
I will appreciate any assistance I get here.

even we are having the same issue like, we have downloaded the Org Model form HR to CRM system, till here it was fine.
when we are trying to download the ECC sales structure(CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE) to CRM system, i have selected all the items and triggered the Gerenerated Selectd Lines, but after all the items are generating in a error with RED.
Could you please share you knowledge, so that it will help me in figuring out the issue.

Transfer HRMD_ABA01 IDocs to SAP Non-HR system

We need to transfer HRMD_ABA01 (Basic Type) IDOCs from ECC to BW system. The BW system doesn't have PA data for Employee
and this results in an Error - 'Error in subroutine read_namtb for structure of infotype'. While debugging it was found that the infotype 105
doesn't exist in the BW system but the Inbound IDOC has the relevant segment E1P0105.
Now, I want to remove this segment from the IDOC. What is the best way to do it? Handling it through the BADI in Inbound processing or any other means?

Thanks for the reply. Infotype 0105 doesn't exist in BW system and there is no segment defined for it in T777D. And, the HR integration is also active (T77S0).
BADI "HRALE00INBOUND_IDOC" doesn't have any implementations.
My requirement here is to delete the segment corresponding to Infotype 0105 from the Inbound IDOC. I would like to know whether we could do IDOC reduction at the Outbound side or Delete segments before Inbound processing.

RVTSH-189: Subroutine rvtshiline() returned error

HI everyone,
Iam trying to import reciept data from RCV_HEADERS_INTERFACE AND RCV_TRANSACTIONS_INTERFACE to base tables.
But when iam running the concurrent program receiving transaction processor, it is completing successfully. But in the PO_INTERFACE_ERRORS iam getting the below error.

My problem has been solved. During inserting into RCV_TRANSACTIONS_INTERFACE, I haven't inserted the VALIDATION_FLAG column. After inserting the column the base tables are populated.

EREC: An error occurred when you tried to insert infotype 1001 in IDOC

Hello Experts,
I have standalone e-Recruitment system and separate SAP HR system. I have ALE configuration done to talk both system.
In the Initial Transfer, I ran PFAL in HR system in 5 steps.
Step 1 Execute PFAL (RHALEINI)for Obj Type O, Infotype 1000 and Transfer mode as Update mode
Step 2 Execute PFAL (RHALEINI)for Obj Type S, Infotype 1000 and Transfer mode as Update mode
Step 3 Execute PFAL (RHALEINI)for Obj Type O and Transfer mode as Insert
Step 4: Execute PFAL (RHALEINI)for Obj Type S and Transfer mode as Insert
Step 5: Execute PFAL (RHALEINI)for Obj Type P and Transfer mode as Insert
All IDOC created in update mode (Step 1 & 2) are green in receiving e-recruitment system but IDOC getting create in Insert mode (Step 3 ,4 &5) are in status 51/52 I mean Red.
Error messages are as below:
1) An error occurred when you tried to insert infotype 1001 using RH_INSERT_INFTY (return code 3).
2) You tried to create a relationship from object 01S 76037685 to object 01AGC:R3HCM:OM_DISPLAY_US. However, object 01AGC:R3HCM:OM_DISPLAY_US does not exist or is not active in the period from 20110101 to 99991231
3) You tried to create a relationship from object 01O 10840305 to object 01O 10299323. However, object 01O 10299323 does not exist or is not active in the period from 20110101 to 99991231.
@ 3rd message : Object 10299323 exist but I still don't understand why I get this message.
Please provide valuable suggestion so that I can get rid of this error in IDOC

I know its very late in getting into this conversation. Since I am also experiencing the same issue, i need some inputs from you.
The error you posted on the top is same what i am getting when I am doing data transfers from SAP HR to E-Rec systems. Our iDoc is working file in Development server but not in Quality server. I am experiencing the same errors what you have mentioned above.
When i checked the error, this error has occurred in subroutine read_namtb for structure of infotype.
Proceedure is to Check the entry for infotype in table T777D (structure, IDoc segment,
expanded structure) and the corresponding structures.
As you have resolved this issue before, can you please suggest what needs to be maintained in the tables such as T777D, T777E, and T777Z.

PO error - RVTII-060

When I go to receiving transactions I inspect it and then after I put in the locators and try to save it, I get the note as below.
rvtpcontrol failed
RVTII-060 Subroutine inltpu() returned error
cause: Subroutine intlpu() returned an internal error.
Action: Note this error number and the actions you are trying to perform. Contact your system admin.
Item cost should be defined before you transact
Check if the cost-enabled flag is set correctly in the
item master, and also check if the item cost is defined in the costing module.
Please tell how to get rid of this error.

Receiving Error Message : Cost Of Goods Sold Account Generation Failed

Hi All,
We need some assistance with this issue...for a given item when the Customer RMA order Line is being received into a given organization/sub inventory/locator we are getting this error message in the Receiving Transactions Interface ( RTI ) as mentioned below.
Cost Of Goods Sold Account Generation Failed with error :RVTII-030: Subroutine rvtiicreate() returned error
Cause: Subroutine rvtiicreate() returned an internal error.
We checked for this item in the organization the Cost of Goods Sold Account has been defined in the Costing Tab in the Item-Org Assignment and this GL account is also enabled on the GL side and is Active.
The scenario is like this :
1. Firstly this item is shipped out on an Outbound order line to the customer location and we checked for the valid Sales Order Issue transaction against this item for this order. We checked for its Inventory Distributions as well.. these look to be valid.
It shows : Inventory valuation account is decremented while the Deferred Cogs of Goods Sold account is incremented.
2. Then this item is being entered on Return order line and after booking the order line . It goes to Awaiting Return status. Next the user tries to attempt the Receipt for the Customer RMA order line for this item we are getting the error mentioned below in the RTI tables :

Cause: Subroutine rvtiicreate() returned an internal error.
Coudl someone please assist us with this issue as this is happening in Production instance ..that would be very helpfull of you..

Standard workflow "OM : Generate Cost of Goods Sold Account" has following steps:
1/ Start generating Code Combination
2/ Get CCID for a line
3/ Copy Values from Code Combination
4/ Validate Code Combination
5/ End generating Code Combination
If I want to modify the segment4, the custom function to set the attribute FND_FLEX_SEGMENT4 need to be inserted just after the step "Copy Values from Code Combination" (NOT just after "Get CCID for a line").
Is it what you have done?

PO Receipts Interface Error!!

We are on 11.5.10. I am trying to create PO receipts using the interface program "Receiving Transaction Processor". I inserted data into the rcv_headers_interface and rcv_transactions_interface tables. As this dta is for contract labor, i am assuming that there is no need to insert data into shipment_related interface table. Following shows the insert statement I made sure that I am running the process from the correct org (the org that i used in the filed destination_oprganization field). But still the process completes normally but po_interface_errors has a record with error message as :
