Error in Translation
Hi,
I am converting Lables in English to Arabic.
I am using the following cmd to translation
java oracle.jrad.tools.trans.imp.XLIFFImporter $JAVA_TOP/grpepm/oracle/apps/per/selfservice/webui/AR/CustomReviewPG.xlf -username apps -password appsuat -dbconnection "(description = (address_list = (address = (community =tcp.world)(protocol = tcp)(host =213.42.48.58)(port = 1551)))(connect_data = (sid = UAT)))"
I changed encoding from UTF-8 to ISO8859_1. When i imported in the server i am getting *"garbaze values instead of Arabic data".*
Pls any body help me to resolve the issue.

Im reading a file from a service and transforming the data and writing them into a file through the external reference using a Mediator component.
I have no problem while building or deploying.
But while executing I get an error as follows:
Non Recoverable System Fault :
Exception occured when binding was invoked. Exception occured during invocation of JCA binding: "JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'WriteAppointmentRequestInLogFile' failed due to: Translation Error. Translation Error. Error while translating message to native format. Please make sure that the payload for the outbound interaction conforms to the schema. ". The invoked JCA adapter raised a resource exception. Please examine the above error message carefully to determine a resolution.
My input is a File Adpater Read operation and output is File Adapter Write operation.

Just in case if you are aware, Im trying the example in Lucas Jellema's book Chapter 7 and Im getting the error there in the first example project.
I have seen few very old threads on this problem in the forum but none of them had any answers so opening up a new one.
Thanks.Your transformation with for-each look is incorrect.
This is what you have right now:
<ns1:AppointmentRequestsLog>
<xsl:for-each select="/imp1:doctorAppointmentRequestRoot/imp1:doctorAppointmentRequest">
<ns1:AppointmentRequest>
<ns1:C1>
<xsl:value-of select="xp20:current-date()"/>
</ns1:C1>
<ns1:C2>
<xsl:value-of select='substring-before("doctor1234_20120926_helloworld","_")'/>
</ns1:C2>
<ns1:C3>
<xsl:value-of select="/imp1:doctorAppointmentRequestRoot/imp1:doctorAppointmentRequest/imp1:C2"/>
</ns1:C3>This is the correct way to write for-each within XSLT:
<ns1:AppointmentRequestsLog>
<xsl:for-each select="/imp1:doctorAppointmentRequestRoot/imp1:doctorAppointmentRequest">
<ns1:AppointmentRequest>
<ns1:C1>
<xsl:value-of select="xp20:current-date()"/>
</ns1:C1>
<ns1:C2>
<xsl:value-of select='substring-before("doctor1234_20120926_helloworld","_")'/>
</ns1:C2>
<ns1:C3>
<xsl:value-of select="imp1:C2"/>
</ns1:C3>Also, check the flow trace in the EM console for the instance which errored out and paste here the data which is being sent to the FileWrite Adapter. Also, you need to ensure that any elements which are defined as xs:int should not have empty string as values. For example in your write schema C3 has int. So you should map C3 in XSLT like following:
<xsl:choose>
<xsl:when test="imp1:C2 and string-length(imp1:C2) > 0">
<ns1:C3>
<xsl:value-of select="imp1:C2"/>
</ns1:C3>
</xsl:when>
<xsl:otherwise>
<ns1:C3>0</ns1:C3>
</xsl:otherwise>
</xsl:choose> -

RoshHi,
We can create an xsd like following:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<xsd:schema targetNamespace="http://myorg.com/integration" elementFormDefault="qualified" attributeFormDefault="unqualified" nxsd:encoding="ASCII" nxsd:stream="chars" nxsd:version="NXSD" xmlns:tns="http://myorg.com/integration" xmlns:nxsd="http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/nxsd" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
<xsd:element name="file" type="xsd:string" nxsd:style="terminated" nxsd:terminatedBy="${eof}">
</xsd:element>
</xsd:schema>
And import it into your BPEL process and before calling write partnerlink assign whatever value you want to "file" element.
I hope this helps you.
Thanks,

IN 'X 'system there will be translation table.I think from some where you are receiving the vendor numbers.If so take those numbers and check that number in tahat table.
EX: select requred data from translation table where vendor no eq 'your incoming no.'

idoc got different stats:
flow of status:01

05 (error during translation)
07 (error during syntax check)
what could be the problem ?Hi,
This could be the format which you are sending not matching with other system.
For example, if your are sending the Idocs to EDI, system, the mapping should be correct with the idoc which you have are sending. If haven't changed any posting program logic or idoc segments, then check with other system who is supposed to transmit the idocs.

Error message: (translated from Dutch) "Cannot find corresponding style page for media query"(see image)
I cannot find what is wrong with this page: steun sesem
This message does not appear on the other pages of this site..
What do I wrong??
Thanks in advance!
MartienThere are two things that are probably causing this error.
Line 22 in your HTML looks like this:
</style><!--[if lt IE 9]>
You need to remove the closing style tag:
</style><!--[if lt IE 9]>
Also in sesem.css, there's a missing closing brace on line 486:
.footer {
font-size: 1.1em;
line-height: 1.4em;
color: #878787;
text-align: center;
} // <---- Missing closing brace
/* Desktop Layout: 769px to a max of 1232px. Inherits styles from: Mobile Layout and Tablet Layout. */
There are other problems in your CSS, but fixing those two items should put you back on the right track. -

Error seeding translatable text. (Row 1)Error when we are trying to seed our application.
It was working fine before, as we are seeding after long time, didn't noticed this before.
What can be the issue?

Regards,
TauceefIt looks like the SSODATAN that you are running is from the Beta version. What version are you running. If it is Beta or even Early Adopter (3.0.6.3.3), I would strongly recommend that you go to one of the production versions. Also, make sure that you are running the ssodatan script that is the same version as the product you are installing.

"Unknown Object :unexpected AST node" prompt error when translating T-SQL
Hi,All
We are using Oracle SQL Developer 2.1 to do a migration from Sybase ASE to Oracle.
When we use Scratch Editor to translate one of Sybase T-SQL stored procedures,it failed.
In the migration log ,we just get the following error:
"Unknown Object :unexpected AST node: PROCEDURE: Line -1 Column -1 "
But other T-SQL SPs can be translated smoothly Scratch Editor.
Anyone has met this error before?
Hope for your advice.Hi Mary,
what is your version of Sybase ASE? Only versions 12 and 15 can be migrated using SQL Developer.
I found no source that reported the same issue. To be able to find the cause of the problem it would be helpful if you post here a T-SQL SP that shows up the error.
I suppose you have read the "Oracle® Database SQL Developer Supplementary Information for Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase Adaptive Server Migrations" manual, available at http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12151_01/doc.150/e12156.pdf ?

Error message: Translation result in VEB too large
Our local currency is ANG (Antillean Guilder). As a subsidary of a Venezuelan Company the system has been configured to perform an automatic translation in the background to VEB. You do not notice this process, untill you receive the error message stated in the title, because the digits of the calculated VEB amount exceed the maximum length of the field.
How to enlarge the field in order to avoid this error?I have managed to resolve this problem by deactivating the Special Ledger in question.
