Error in Wad

i am getting this error while running the report in WAD
"System error in program SAPLRRS2 and form SELOPT_ASSIGN-01- "
what does this error means and what steps i shuld follow?

What is the version on which you are working with. This is a program error. It may occur if a query that was already created in 3.x contains one of the variables like 0REQUID..
and further selection option variable for a further char.If more than one value is entered in the selection option variable, the query terminates with the above error message.
Note that you must generate the query again after you have implemented the correction (Transaction RSRT1 > Generate report).
Also check the SP level implemented.
Please refer note number 907533. It may be of some help to you.

We have Report in WAD 3.5.
We are getting below error while navigating the report liek filtering on G/L account. This error occurs only while data loading is taking place in the cube.

RSBOLAP 018 Error In WAD

Hi Experts, i am using BI 7.0. And am trying to execute reports from WAD. However it always gives an error saying
"RSBOLAP 018 Java System Error: An unknown error has occoured during portal communication" while opening the report and
"RSBOLAP 018 Java System Error: Incoming call not authorised" while executing the report.
I read SAP Note 937697 and executed the support tool to receive the following error.
RED: BI Mastersystem
Error: Error while connecting to BI mastersystems via RFC. java.lang.RuntimeException: Native connection to banckend system is broken
Solution: Check connection properties in Portal Systemlandscape category 'Connector' (Systemlandscape / SAP_BW)
I checked on the same...and all seems correct...also the connectivity tests in the BI Portal pass

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I also solved the problem.
In the case someone else is going to have this issue here some quick hints:
1) If you have an add-in installation AS ABAP+Java with both using the same <SID> you need to recreate the SSO keys with an alternative <SID>. Note that you need to restart the system afterwards.
2) I also needed to manually change the ACL certificate in STRUSTSSO2 to the right client.
3) Finally I had to install a correction mentioned in a note (937697)
I hope this will save some time for the next person with these problems.
In case all my remarks didn't help note 917950 is a good starting point.
Especially have a look at the attached pdf, it is a nice illustration of the required settings.

Error in WAD Template when no data.

I'm working with BW 7 SP 15
I have a query that has the characteristic 0FISPER in the Columns side, above the key figures, so the query displays the data per month.
The problem is when I include this query into a WAD Template and I set the property "new lines" to 1, when this template is executed and the result is empty the following error appears (only when there're no data to display and only when 0FISPER is above key figures, when I put 0FISPER on rows side, It does it correctly):

Hi Yolanda,
it´s as you already figured out - 0FISCPER is the problem.
When you want to create new lines, there can not be a dynamic characteristic in the columns. Each column has to be defined with single values.
Try to create restricted key figures for the periods you need to show.

Bi exceotion error on WAD

    here is the error i got while publishing a webtemplate on portal..
HELP ME PLEASE...
        while publishing the web template on the portal (WAD)...I get the bi exception error as described below..
     some times report is opening fine on portal ,when i make some selection from the dropdwn also it works ,,but at one point of time on the dropdown selection i get the
error. so i refresh, it works .again i navigate the report.. then i get the same error so again refresh ....
       when i do the same again and again the frequency of getting these error becomes more ....at one point of time the report itself is not opening on
portal..And everytime i get different error message as follows..

Error in WAD - CL_RSR_RRK0_ATTR_C and form CHECK_ALVL-01

Hi,
I'm trying to publish a Business Content web template. but I get the following error :
System error in program CL_RSR_RRK0_ATTR_C and form CHECK_ALVL-01- (see long text).
- I've checked the query and it runs successfully.
- This is a business content template and all components are installed
- there was an error on an exception which was created - I corrected this.
- there was a warning as a hierarchy which was specified didn't exist so I removed this.
- I regenerated the query in RSRT before rerunning it from WAD
- When I execute the query from RSRT by clicking ABAP Web, it runs.
So the error message seems to point to the Web template but when I open this it says only template text can be edited, it doesn't show me the actual template. Any ideas how I can troubleshoot this?

Other web templates are able to display without issues so I don't think its the configuration causing the problem. I've checked through the note you suggested and all config seems correct.

My WAD Template and the default template to execute Query is working fine for all the Query. But there is only one Query For which when am trying to execute it in portal it's working fine for some selection(when there is no data) and for some selection criteria it's showing "500 Internal Server Error - java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException" error. But the Query is working fine in the TCODE-RSRT.

Please activate all BEx Web templates (BTMP) that begin with '0'. Please activate all Reusable Web items (BITM) which' begin 'with '0'. After this you should restart the J2EE Engine. This will solve your problems.
Regarding the note - It means that the issue "Object 'BTMP:0ANALYSIS_PATTERN' refers to the invalid object 'QU:" can be ignored now. This error message will not come in SP14 (whenever its released).

Basically, you have to assign a report designer report at this tag.

BI EXCEPTION ERROR ON WAD

hai ,
    when i am executing a web template on portal on WAD,
i am getting a BI EXCEPTION RUNTIME ERROR ....some times i could see the report on portal .but further when i navigate through some web items like dropdown and checkbox etc, i am getting the same error...
               can anyone help me please...

BI EXCEPTION ERROR is common error message..please check the detailed log.there you can get some hint to resolve the issue.Please check run the support desk tool as per note 937697 and ensure that the BW-Portal configuration is correct.Execution of WAD in portal requires correct config of BI-EP.

Error in WAD 7.10 (Release 2004S)

We are trying to open the existing Web Templates (created in 3.0B) in WAD 7.10 but we cannot do so. It is not showing anything under the 'Roles' tab and
it does not get any objects when we search using 'Find'. But if we use
the WAD (SAP BW 3.x) we can still see them.
Has anybody faced this problem before?

Hi Rajani,
Am i right in saying that BEx Web Applications in which certain customer-specific enhancements (e.g. Table Interface, custom Java-Script) were made cannot be automatically converted with SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI WAD. Manual adaptation might be necessary to ensure the proper behavior of the web application. Thanks for the information.

Java Iview runtime error for WAD 7.0

When I try to open Web Application designer of 7.0 from Start>Programs>Business explorer> Web application designer, the system is popping up to enter the userid &password after entering it , I cannot see any screen, when I asked my team member about this he told that the IT still did not release the 7.0 Web application designer and he told me to use 3.X Web application designer ,but when I try to open in rrmx my going to meu oprtion BEX Analyzer>Tools -->BEx web analyzer then its opening in the internet explorer and giving me the message

What could be the Problem

Hi Maya,
BEx Web Analyzer requires Portal and is basically a Web template called 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN.
Is Portal configured in your system landscape? If yes try to see if its configured probably using transaction RSPOR_CUST01.
If you have access to SM59, you can test the RFC connection to the portal by running the Test Connection for the corresponding RFC destination ID that you see in RSPOR_CUST01 transaction.

Catch Error Message WAD Popup

Hi all
I have a report published in portal and now I have the necessity to show a message when the user execute this report. If the user execute this report and the process chain that update the information is running, I have to show the message "Update Process in Progress, Please Wait a Moment"
Now I can show the message but I want show this message in a popup window, for ensure that the user can see it.

Hi,
in SRM all messages are stored in the message handler. Also when you set a message within the check BAdI, the message is stored later in the message handler. If you want to know when a message is moved to the message handler, just set a break-point in FM BBP_PD_MSG_ADD.
