Error inserting image

Hi to all,
Hi need to insert an image in a report created with Oracle Report Builder 10g. But, inserting a jpg or gif image, this error is displayed
rep-0820 cannot import specified image
How can resolve this problem? Wich image format I must to use ?

Hi Nick,
To insert an image in Report Builder 10g just do the following:
Paper Layout -> Insert menu -> Image -> Browse
I have used Jpg and Gif images without any problem,

Code errors inserting images

Starting today I am unable to insert images via either drag and drop or usig the Insert menu in DreamWeaver CS4 on a Windows XP PC.
When I try to drag and drop into code view, which I've done for years, DreamWeaver inserts a new set of tags for a blank page where I wanted the image inserted and puts "Image" inside the title tag and a HTML comment saying MENU-LOCATION=NONE.
If I use the Insert Image menu option I get a Macromedia Copyright comment inserted into the head of the document I'm working on.
When I save a page I get an error While executing onLoad in _afterSave.htm JavaScript error afterSave is not defined.
Any ideas... other than upgrading to CS5.5, though that may have to be an option.

Error inserting image file in Excel 2013, it's working with administrator privileges

When I tri to insert image file like .JPG in Excel 2013, I get an import error. It's working fine with administrator privileges.
I check, graphic filter (registry values) and made also an Office repare. But i have still the problem.
My computer: Windows 8.1 64 bits, Office 2013 32 bits

Try to check the grant permission for the Excel property itself.
Try to insert image from other path, e.g. D:\ to check if we still receive the error.
Try to run Excel with safe mode. ("Excel.exe /safe") and perform th insert action without any add-ins interrupt. Thanks.

Insert Image Javascript Error

I've had this problem since I switched from MX2004 to version
8, and now on CS3. When I click on Insert Image I get a message
that in Image.htm a javascript error occured. The strange thing is
I have a second computer with CS3 installed and since re-installing
windows have not experienced this problem on that computer. I have
followed the instructions in:

doesn't help.
I am using Windows XP SP2 with Dreamweaver setup to connect
via RDS to my Windows Server 2003 Coldfusion web server.
If anyone has some useful insight to this very frustrating
issue that Adobe seems to have no support information on I would be
very grateful

Error in inserting images into table

Hi All,
I am trying to insert images into a table.
Followed these steps:
CREATE TABLE XX_DEMO_IMG_TBL
file_id      NUMBER(5),
file_name      VARCHAR2(30),

REPLACE
INTO TABLE XX_DEMO_IMG_TBL

used sqlldr cmd
Got the following error:
*ecord 1: Rejected - Error on table XX_DEMO_IMG_TBL.
ORA-01460: unimplemented or unreasonable conversion requested*
I am using SQLPlus: Release 10.2.0.3.0 -*
Can any one please guide where am i going wrong ?

I got a solution for this, I modified my control file like this..
LOAD DATA

REPLACE
INTO TABLE SCOTT.XX_DEMO_IMG_TBL
FIELDS TERMINATED BY ','
file_id ,

file_data LOBFILE (file_name) TERMINATED BY EOF
BEGINDATA
1,c:\Users\SariRavi\Desktop\logo.gif
and it worked.

When I hit Ctrl+Alt+I to insert an image, or go to Insert
> Image, I get the following message:
ERROR
While executing objectTag in Image.htm, a JavaScript error
occurred.
I cannot find any information about this anywhere online. Any
suggestions?

Insert image - HTTP error

I've been using Firefox (now 24.0) to browse NI forum and I've never been able to insert images in my messages, and so I always include them as attachments.
I select "Insert/edit image" icon
I select "From My computer >> Browse"
I point to the image file and I get "Error Code: HTTP Error"
Probably there is something I miss, but I don't know what.
Could someone help me, please?

SCN document: 'Insert Image' greyed out at a certain stage/size

I noticed a similar issue likeTammy has reported in discussion/thread .Cannot insert or upload an image
After having inserted text and several images to a draft document, the 'Insert Image' icon became greyed out at a certain stage/size.
I did some tests following document Solution for Error: Cannot Insert Images on SCN Content, but the the behavior remained the same. Only after having deleted the last inserted image in the document > Save Draft > Edit again the 'Insert Image' icon was not greyed out anymore which is argueing for a size restriction.
The same html coding as in the document put into a blog does not grey out the ‘Insert Image’ icon. But I found out that after clicking on the ‘Insert Image’ icon > ‘From your Computer’ tab ‘Browse’ is greyed out. Strange and argueing against a size limit is, when I choose ‘Uploaded Images’ I can select images and still insert them into the blog.
Does someone have similar experiences / can assist.

I suggest to split you document into two part as part 1 and part 2.

Inserting Images in Database

Hi,
I am using forms6 and database is 8.0.5. I have images stored in a folder say c:\images\. I have a table for item master and the item code is same as the image name in the image folder. Eg : Item code -ABC123 so there is a image jpeg format by the name ABC123. All the records are created in item master.
Now if the user puts 10 images in this folder i want to read all this images and insert it in item master against this item code. Now i want to know the sql for this
1>Reading sequentially all the images from this folder
2>By the image file name read the itemcode from the item master and insert image in that record. I am using Long raw for storing the images.

I managed reading the images from the folder and but just stuck up with the problem.
Test -1
I declared a variable var_abc long raw.
read_image_file(v_filename,'ANY',var_abc);
update item_master set item_pict = var_abc where item_code = var_item;
Here it gives error at runtime on read_image_file for var_abc
Test-2
I created a nondatabase block and create a column txt_image with type as image.
read_image_file(v_filename,'ANY',:txt_image);
update item_master set item_pict = :txt_image where item_code = var_item;
Here it gives error at compilation on item_pict =:txt_image
Anyone can help me out where i am making mistake ?.

Inserting image into table

i m create table, then create procedure, procedure is successfully compile, but when i m trying to insert image into table it error out.
for inserting image i go with
EXECUTE insert_image_file(1,'C:\sunset.jpg');
sunset.jpg is image which i want to insert in table, and which is present on 'c drive'.
when execute the following error are shown

Inserting images to mark text boundaries

Ive added text to a JTextPane from a file.
and by mouse click ive inserted character
to mark the boundaries of the text.
instead of character ive to do with images
for marking the segment boundaries.

Inserting image to table...ORA-22288: file or LOB operation FILEOPEN failed

I'm just new with using databases, and i'm enjoying it.
So I read that you can insert images to a table, and so i decided to try it... and here's where I'm at..
*I made a directory
CREATE directory image_dir as 'D:\Images';
--Directory Created.
*I created a table
CREATE TABLE animages
(aname VARCHAR2(40),
breedno NUMBER(10),
image_file BLOB,
image_name VARCHAR2(40),

--Table Created.
*Then I made a procedure for inserting the images

*So i was able to do those but when i was trying to execute the procedure i get this error..

I've been looking for a solution for a day now, hope someone could help me, thanks.
BTW, I got the code for the PROCEDURE from a user named Aparna16, just did some minor editing so it would fit my tables, thanks.

How to create table and insert images and audio files ...

hello to all , i am doing my b.e cse .
at current v r studing DB and pl/sql codes ....
i just need to know simple way of code to insert images and audio files in a table .
i tried some of these ,
CREATE TABLE myTable(Document varbinary(max))
INSERT INTO myTable(Document)
SELECT * FROM
OPENROWSET(BULK N'C:\Image1.jpg', SINGLE_BLOB)
but not workiing
it shows some errors.
i use oracle 10g. thank u :) and also i tried using blob and bfile datatypes , table created but cannot insert values !

HELP: cannot insert images

When I try to insert an image, I get a pop up message reading: "You won't see this element unless View < Visual Aids < Visible Elements is checked, and the preference setting for this setting is on."
I've made sure that Visible Elements has been checked, but I'm not really sure what to do in the Preference setting. I'm assuming it's on, but there's nothing to indicate that in the setting.
Anyway, I'm still not able to insert images, either in the body or in the div. I keep getting the same pop up message and I don't know what to do. Can someone please help? Thanks..

How are you trying to insert the image....
1. Via the Common tab and selecting the image icon.
2. Via the Insert Menu>Image
From my checking of the Invisible elements there shouldn't be anything there impeding the insertion of an image. Even in the preferences dialogue box, there's nothing really there specific to images.
See if the following helps:

I'm trying to insert an image into the database using a BLOB datatype. I'm using PHP right now to code everything. I was wondering if anybody has resolved any of the errors I've gotten, or knows how to insert images into the database. I don't have intermedia. Thanks...

Hi there,
I might know... But maybe your questions is not so clear... I don't know if I see what you want to do...
Do you want to have an image in a shape causing wrapping and apply a picture frame or so to it?
If so:
1. Make your shape and put text in it
2. Drop the image into iWeb
3. Being sure it is selected copy it
4. Go into your shape and paste your image into it
5. Open up the Inspector and make the image wrap
6. Again in the Inspector apply picture frames or whatever
Thus you apply picture frames when it already is in the shape, not before.
