Error installing 11XE Beta 2

Hi all
When installing the DB 11XE Beta 2 in a windows XP 32 bits computer, i get this error: 'Error: -2 The System cannot find the file specified'
I'm a user in this computer and i'm part of the administrators group.
Can anyone help?

So i guess is my computer or my user in this computer. I've changed the temp dir to a different partition when i installed win xp the last time.
But it decompress to that new temp.Maybe you could try temporarily changing temp location. Sometimes installers use hard coded path (e.g. windir\temp).

Error installing the beta on Window 7 64bit

The beta installed fine on one system, but another (Windows 7 64bit), using the same install files I get:
FATAL: Payload '{0712C1A3-F5C0-4D29-9CC8-225ED1CEDFF2} Camera Profiles Installer 6.0.70.0' information not found in Media_db.
I have CS 5 installed on the working system and CS5.5 and Lightroom 4.0 installed on the failing system. The only other odd thing is that I initially tried to install it on D drive due to lack of space on C. Now when I run set-up agian, it shows C:\Program Files\Adobe as default install dir, but shows available space from D drive (there is a very significant diference in free space between the drives). It will fail with the error installing to either drive.

You have to restore your phone. To do this turn off your phone and disconnect it from your pc or mac. You then have to plug in the usb part of your sychronize cable into your pc or mac. Open itunes. Now press and hold on the home button on your iphone and plug the cable into it while still holding down the home button. Your iphone will now be in recovery mode and on itunes you will see the option that says restore. Click on that and your phone will be restored to factory settings. If you backed up your itunes all your apps will be downloaded back on to your phone. Including all your contacts and text messages. It took me a couple of tries to restore my phone when this happened so if it doesnt work the first time do it again. Took me two tries. I wasn't able to install the new version of iTunes (version 11.1.1). The installation keeps failing. The they suggested the I install it manually and that failed too. I will attach the message I received.

Well when the indsatalltion failed I was given instructions to select Download Only from Tools and then install manually. When I did it, I window popped up with the following items: - AppleApplicationSupport

I completely understand what you're saying. Since that Repair did not resolve the issue, our best option is to uninstall iTunes and its components and redownload it. First, we will want to quit iTunes and/or Apple Software Update if those are open at this time.

This error code is not something that I am finding in my sources, Samia. So there is a chance that it is being caused with the Windows computer itself. Error installing Flash Builder 4.5 after uninstalling Flash Burrito

I'm getting errors installing FB 4.5 PHP,
I tried installing FB 4.5, but just got errors saying 'beta or pre-release needs to be uninstalled'
so I instead tried installing FB 4.5 PHP which gives better error messages.
It said unable to delete directories:
Adobe Flash Builder Burrito Preview
Adobe Flash Builder Burrito
Adobe Flash Builder Burrito/sdks
which don't exist, so I created them and gave them r/w access to everyone.
Still getting the same error.

Looks like you might have a conflict with a existing installation of Adobe Help. You may want to review your install logs in their entirety however. Error installing ruby-json from AUR

Hey guys,
I'm getting an error installing the ruby-json AUR package with yaourt. Here's the error https://gist.github.com/EvanPurkhiser/5409110
I checked the directory pkg directory and it has 000 permissions =/ Changing the permissions doesn't seem to fix it as it just resets them back to 000 next time i try to install it
Also, would this be a better to report this in the package comments instead of asking here?

Error installing the Content version of Update rules

Hi experts,
While installing Update rule "0PA_C01 0HR_PA_0" from BI content following error is cming,
"Object Update rules E5ILYDNE80GVD52C5Y47ZBDKJ: Error installing the Content version."
Infocube , transfer rules are already installed. Datasource 0HR_PA_0 is also in place.
I have searched relevant quries in SDN.But i did not find the solution.
Could any one throw light on it?

Error installing IMlet....Emulator Error

Windows 8.1 (I have now also tried it on Windows 7)
Java ME SDK 8
Netbeans 8
Since downloading Netbeans a few days ago I've been having persistent problems. It's very slow and the the emulator starts up less than half the time. MosT of the time
I get An error once the emulator opens and it's about the begin running the program. It says:
Error Installing IMlet: See Device Log for Details. (see attachment)
The FATAL error message in the log is as follows:
[03:55:09.401] FATAL - lkit.ui.actions.AmsExecInstall - Unknown error: invalid url: file:///C:/Users/Kevins Home/Desktop/GPIOLEDTest/dist/GPIOLEDTest.jad (see attachment)
This problem also occurs on my girlfriends MAC using the same code + setup.
There's very little online material that seems to be relevant.
Would love to figure out what's wrong so I can finish this course: Develop Java Embedded Applications with a Raspberry Pi

I'm don't know what is causing this problem. Hopefully one of the Oracle folks can chime in on this.
Let me review a few things with you just to make sure your problem isn't something obvious...
1. You have all the software prerequisites installed: all the Java ME version 8 release software installed listed in the first few videos of lesson 1. This means not version 7, not pre-release, not beta. Make sure you have installed the exact versions of the software Tom listed in the video.
2. You have netbeans 8 installed.
3. You have putty installed
4. You have enabled ssh and a static IP address in the RPi
5. You can use putty to SSH to the Pi using your static IP addresspi
6. When you SSH to the Pi, it asks for your login, which is 'pi', and your password, which is 'raspberry''
7. Once you login to the pi you navigate to the AMS bin folder using 'cd javame8/bin'
8. Then you issue the command 'sudo ./usertest.sh' to start AMS. Note you must use sudo.
9. Your RPi will respond Java is starting. Press Ctrl-C to exit.
10. DO NOT press Ctrl-C
11. Go to the folder where your Netbeans projects are stored. On my computer it is c:/Users/Administrator/MyDocuments/NetBeansProjects.
12. Remove all projects from there. Either delete them or move them somewheres else for now. I want to make sure the project we test with has not been modified. Best way to do that is start out with no projects.
13. Startup Netbeans.
14. Verify there are no projects in Netbeans. There shouldn't be any because your NetBeansProjects folder should be empty.
15. Download GPIOLEDTest from the Oracle link in Lesson 1. It will download a zip file. Do not open it.
16. In Netbeans, select File / Import Project / From Zip...
17. Navigate to the GPIOLEDTest.zip. I think it will be in your Downloads folder.
18. It should now be installed as the only project in Netbeans.
12. There will be a Device Connection Manager in the system task bar at the lower left of Windows
13. Clicking it shows there is a connection to the static IP address of your RPi and it shows a status of Connected
14. Run the project. It should install and run.

I have not been able to reinstall Acrobat Pro on my laptop. I have Suite 6 Design & Web Premium on my HP laptop. I have Windows 7 operating system. All of a sudden Acrobat Pro will not open so I uninstalled and tried to reinstall the program.
The error messages I get are:
ERROR: Error 2203.Database: C:\Windows\Installer\12102c.ipi. Cannot open database file. System error -2147287035.
ERROR: Install MSI payload failed with error: 1603 - Fatal error during installation.

The 10.5 Beta version should only be available to those that have subscribed to the Developer channel, and not to anyone else.
The latest version that is available to all is 10.4.1: iTunes 10.4.1

ok so the download problem with my iphone.. what could be the cause of that? ive restarted and deleted the "undownloaded app" over 10 times already. and restarted the iphone 10 times... next thing i know i cant install itunes on my laptop.... geez man..
obviously there is a fix which someone will help... but why should i have to go through all that crap to install a so called uncomplicated software... when you think about it this really shouldnt even be an issue.
normally if the thing dosent work. normally with most programs you just uninstall the uncompleted software and just reinstall and everything is usually good to go.. help!

ive never had any problems with ap[ple products in the past... this is a first and a stupid problem if you ask me
