I am using Crystal Report XI with VC++ 6.0 .When I am trying to print report directly on button click event all goes well.But as soon as i try to print report calling that function in a UI Thread it gives two error :
This document could not be opened. It does not appear to be a Crystal Report document. This document has the expected file extension (.RPT) but it seems to be corrupt. If the report use to work, try opening it with a different version of Crystal Reports and if that still does not work, please contact your administrator.
after pressing OK it gives another error : Invalid TLV record.
I dont know what is going wrong ...same code works well if I dont call in UI Thread and the moment I try to do the same by calling that function in UI Thread it gives above errors.
I have registered :craxdrt.dll as well as crqe.dll .... than also ..
Please help me I am totally stuck ...

Invalid TLV Record - Crystal Report XI R2

Hi I am getting "Invalid TLV Record" when opening crystal report on production server. After recycling the application pool the problem getting solved.
Event viewer Shows this error:
Error: File /CrystalReports/Viewer/ASP/RDCrptserver11.asp Unexpected error. A trappable error (E06D7363) occurred in an external object. The script cannot continue running..
Crystal Report XI developer edition was installed in the production server and with out unistalling the XI version we deployed the XI R2(side by side installation) using CrystalReports11_5_NET_2005.msi - Service Pack4 for .Net( for exporting as pdf) and RDC Compnents using Crystal Report XI R2 Service pack 4 Merge modules
Reports are showing using ActiveX Viewer with classic ASP in our ASP.Net 2.0 Application.
But the reports are still using Crystal Report XI RDC not XI R2 RDC because the XI RDC Viewer was already installed in users machines.

Invalid TLV record error

We have an app that was originally written in VB6 (using the ActiveX viewer) with reports designed in Crystal 8.5. A new executable was added to the app written in C# that uses (not embedded) two report files designed in Crystal 11.5. The VB6 code was modified to include references to the 11.0 RDC. The install program (before adding the reports to the C# module) used the following merge modules:
Crystal11_NET_EmbeddedReporting.msm, CrystalReports11_RDC_Designtime.msm, CrystalReports11_RDC_Runtime.msm, CrystaReports85_ActiveXControl.msm, CrystalReports85_Crpaig80.msm, CrystalReports85_Cpre32.msm and CrystalReports85_Imploder.msm.
This installation and the app ran perfectly. After adding the reports to the C# module we recompiled the install (using the same merge modules as above) and reinstalled the app. The VB6 reports ran as expected, but the two new reports failed because some Crystal Desicions components did not get installed.
After researching, I created a new install package with the following merge modules:
CrystalReports11_5_RDC_Designtime.msm, CrystalReports11_5_RDC_Runtime.msm, CrystalReports11_5_RDC_Reportengine.msm, CrystalReports11_5_RDC_License.msm, CrystaReports85_ActiveXControl.msm, CrystalReports85_Crpaig80.msm, CrystalReports85_Cpre32.msm and CrystalReports85_Imploder.msm.
Reinstalled the app. The two reports in the C# module work great, however, all of the reports associated with the VB6 code get an "Invalid TLV record" error.
I have researched this issue here and on the web with no joy!
Is Crystal Decisions and ActiveXviewer mutually incompatible? Are we missing something in the installation build?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Crystal Reports 9 called from a VB6 application - Invalid TLV record

I have a VB6 app that calls a Crystal Reports 9 CRViewer9. On two PC" I got "Invalid TLV record". From what I read I think that there is a problem with a .dll but I not sure which one so I reinstalled Crystal Reports 9 on one PC and it corrected the problem. However when I tried this solution on the 2nd PC (XP SP3) I get
Error 1904. Module commonobjmodel..dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147024770.
If I press Ignore, I get the same message for several other .dll's. I tried going to the DOS command and use REGSVR32 but it fails as well.
Any suggestions?

A couple of possible causes. They have an older version of CR which installed crpe32.dll into the \windows\system32 folder. If so rename it as well as the \windows\Crystal folder.
You don't have all of the required dependencies on the work station.
Or you don't have permission, must have local PC Admin rights, to install software.

Error Invalid Number message when sending text

Ever since I upgraded to an iPhone 5s I get an Error Invalid Number message when sending a text to a phone number that used to work just fine from my 4s. In fact I can receive a text from this number but when I try to reply to that text I get the error message again.
I deleted the contact info in case there was something broken there and I'm trying it with just the raw phone number but without any luck. What can I do? It's my boss's number so it's important I fix this problem. All other contacts and texts are working just fine, it's just this one phone, a Samsung galaxy on T-mobile if that helps.

I am having the same exact issue with my Nokia Lumia 920 Windows phone. I was texting my son this morning when one text immediately returned a "+1 (112) 161-1611 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send u sing a vlid 10 digit mobile number" message. His contact info looked fine, but I edited it, re-saved it and tried texting again. Same result - except the number reported in the error message showed 2 "1s" in front of his mobile number. I was able to text my wife a couple of times to report this to her and then it happened with her number in exactly the same manner. I am still able to text people I work with - so this leads me to believe it has something to do with phone numbers that have been saved outside of my corporate contact list. I will be monitoring this posting to see if there is a fix.

ExecuteNonQuery doesnt return number of rows affected when used with PL/SQL

ExecuteNonQuery doesn't return number of rows affected when used with PL/SQL but returns -1. The documentation says ExecuteNonQuery method of OracleCommand returns the number of raws affected but when used with PL/SQL, it returns -1 even the update statement successfully executes and affects multiple records with no exeptions thrown.
However, if ExecuteNonQuery is used with update sql statement in the asp.net code it returns number of rows affected correctly. Does anybody know why ExecuteNonQuery behaves like this?
I am using ODP.NET that comes with Oracle Client 11g. The version is 2.111.6.20 of ODP.NET, Oracle database server is 10g.

You can get the rowcount in the stored procedure via SQL%ROWCOUNT and then pass it out as a parameter.
For example:

Test runner freezing when used with Dynamics CRM (and other apps) - Both applications freeze and never come back...

We are trying to use test runner with dynamics CRM.
MS Dynamics CRM will freeze and will not respond (even after 10 - 15 minutes). When this happens, the test manager will either freeze or a message will apear saying "waiting for application under test".
We are not recording action recordings...This makes using test manager impossible. It happens consistently, starting with slowing the PC down (mouse moving slowly, slow to load in new screens, drop downs etc) eventually leading to the app freezing.
Tried on windows xp, windows 7 etc on various specs of pcs.

your problem could be hardware/software. lets hope its software issue first and i'd like you to do these:
if you have personal files on volume c, copy/backup them. shut down your computer, press one key recover button to perform clean windows installation. then check if the issue still persists.
if you don,t want to use okr, you can use windows restore to restore your computer to previous restore points but if it's windows/virus issue, it may not help.

Camera is hanging when using with flash

Hi Lenovo Team,
In lenovo vibe x2, camera is hanging when using with flash.Getting "Lenovo snapit isnt responding" error and screen hanged for sometime.after that when tried to open camera "Cannt cannot to camera " error is coming till when restart the phone.
Even tried Factory reset and software update.
Please provide the solution for the above issue.

I just tested the X2 however am not having the issue. I set flash to always on then took a picture using SnapIt however its fine.
Please check if you have the latest firmware S125.

As Jeff already hinted at, try a different browser. Such issues almost always are local problems on your end. Something is either changing or blocking the HTTP headers used for forwarding (could be your router, a desktop firewall or other security tools) or a JavaScript is not running/ being blocked.

Are you in the US? If you are in the US, you don't need to call or text the full number unless it is a toll free number.
You can just use the 10 digit number XXX-XXX-XXXX
It seems the number is invalid so AT&T respond back saying that "at&t +1 (1) (216)116-11 error invalid number please resend using 10 digit mobile number"
If you are using the right number and you know for sure it is a working number, try delete the number in question that you try to text to like call history or text history of that number and just delete it. Do not delete the number in your contacts though. Delete history pertaining to it in calls and text.
Then try it again to text to the number.
