Error ITMS-9000 Index:0, Size: 0

Hi,
I've spent 30 days for this "Error ITMS-9000 Index:0, Size: 0".
I made a validation test before I delivered my book package.
No problem, it's OK.
I think since last update in OS X(March, 2013) this problem started.
Today, after Java and Safari update, the same error.
Whan can I do?
1 package(s) were not uploaded because they had problems:
/Users/carllro/Music/iTunes Producer/Playlists/9788999002519.itmsp - Error Messages:
Apple's web service operation was not successful
Unable to authenticate the package: 9788999002519.itmsp
ERROR ITMS-9000: "Index: 0, Size: 0" at Book (MZItmspBookPackage)

After re-initializing, the porblem is solved.
I Would like to share our findings:
The monitoring application includes an embedded Apache Derby database, often referred to as the “trending database”, where monitoring information is stored by default.
Somehow this Apache Derby database database got corrupt: as a reference we checked our TEST environment and every time we restarted SAPBO, there was a file in the derby database named, dbex.lck and db.lck which was refreshed. We assume these ae lock files which is created at startup. But on the development environment, these files weren't refreshed at startup, they were too old.  before re-initializing CMS, we stopped the node, deleted the dbex.lck and db.lck.files, started CMS but there were no dbex.lck and db.lck.files. So, we assumed the Derby database got corrupt.
After re-initializing, the porblem is solved.
Thank you all
Cheers

  • ERROR ITMS-9000 with remote MP4 video

    Hello,
We have created an ePub and we are trying to publish it with iTunes Producer. The book contains embeded videos. The videos are not included in the ebook but hosted remotely since they total 1.5 GB and we need to mantain the ebook size very small.
When we try to upload the epub file, we get the following error from iTunes Producer :
ERROR ITMS-9000: "Error Parsing file /OEBPS/http://www.ourwebsite.com/ebookname/videos/video.mp4" at Book (MZltmspBookPackage)
Any suggestion on how to solve this problem ?
    Thank you

Hi. Me too, I have the same problem. Did you solve it?
The epub is validate with epubcheck, it is also possible to read it with iPad, watching regularly the videos, but apple store doesn't approve it.
Is there anybody who can help?
    Thanks

  • Error itms-9000 "could not parse OPS/glossary.xhtml"

Has anyone received this error message when trying to deliver an ibook through iTunes Producer?
ERROR ITMS-9000 "could not parse OPS/glossary.xhtml: duplicate id: p2" at Book (MZItmspBookPackage)"
I can't translate that, the ibookstore people are VERY (5 days) slow in responding, and my book can't go through until I've "fixed" the problem.  Glossary links are intact, intro movie is in a separate place (not glossary), and I'm at a loss!!

    Edgar,
My solution came as a suggestion from my computer guru son.  Delete every item in the glossary.  Since that wasn't practical, I copied each item completely and pasted it to Notepad.  THEN deleted each item.  In re-inputting the items (copied from Notepad), I used the iBooks "glossary creator" to create each item.  Apparently, as I was "creating my own" glossary items, iBooks was creating each item in the background, so duplicates were being created.  Once I input the glossary items ONLY through the iBooks "glossary creator" system, there were no duplicates and the submission process went through instantly (took a while, because of the size of the book).  About your videos in the glossary, try abridging the video (if it was a duplicate of something used somewhere else in the book) and renaming it a different name, THEN include it in the glossary.  It may be thinking that the video is duplicated in the glossary because it's being used elsewhere.  If the two (or three) videos all have different names, I think they would pass.
Another thing that caused problems in the book was in dealing with .pdf files.  DON'T USE .PDFs.  Re-type the verbiage.  Including .pdfs created its own set of problems!
    Good Luck!!

  • I am getting the following error: Unable to authenticate the package: B_SPACE_NUTRITION.itmsp                     ERROR ITMS-9000: "OPS/ibooks.ncx(5): element "content" not allowed yet; missing required element "navLabel"" at Book (MZItmspBookPackage)

I am getting the following error when attempting to deliver my iBooks Author book package via iTunes Producer: "
Unable to authenticate the package: B_SPACE_NUTRITION.itmsp
ERROR ITMS-9000: "OPS/ibooks.ncx(5): element "content" not allowed yet; missing required element "navLabel"" at Book (MZItmspBookPackage)"
I understand that there's something wrong with the TOC file (.ncx), but I have tried everything and nothing seems to work. Every section of the TOC is labeled, so not sure why the navLabel issue is happenening.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated! Thank you.

Similar issues looks like. Are you using a template other than those in iBooks Author? That's what I did, and that was definitely part of the issue.
After digging through .ibooks code for hours and still not seeing the problem, I decided to reach out to one of the Apple epub conversion affiliates in iTunes Connect. They said they could repair the file without a problem, started working on it, only to come back a week later and say they couldn't work on .ibooks or .iba files yet.
So, in complete frustration, I decided to transfer my content page by page from the blank template I downloaded from a vendor online to one of the "textbook" templates in IBA. This was a long process as I had to unlock and clear out the formatting of the template. But, once that was done and content was transferred over, all was good. I submitted/delivered the same content and preview book within the new template and it went right through the first time (all metadata was exactly the same as well).
Now, the iBookstore approval waiting process begins!
    Good luck!

I am trying to submit a book via iTunes Producer (Ver 3.0) but I keep getting the below errors.  Can you someone help me figure out what I need to change in my epub file to resolve these errors.  I would be SO apprciative of any help you give us.  Thank you!

May I suggest you  look at the top of this  page and clcik the Apple Support Communhities link and look for the  iBooks Author > "Creating ePubs" discussion group who are perhaps more  likely to help.

Any advice??? Hope someone can help!

iBookstore Publisher Support send me a fast response email which included some helpful info:
Please make sure that all image files inside the ePub end with one of the following: ".tif", ".jpg", or ".png" and that the file itself matches the file extension type. To check if the image file matches the file extension type, please right click on the image then select "Get Info". Once the info tab appears, please make sure that the file extension type of the image file matches the "Kind" found under "General".
For further information regarding embedded images, please refer to the iBookstore Asset Guide, which is available for download in the Deliver Your Content module in iTunes Connect.
And they INCLUDED THE TRANSPORTER LOG (!), the log generated by iTunes Producer as it tries to upload a book. We were able to search for the Validation Error # within the log and find out which image Producer was trying to upload when it encountered an error. Turns out the problem was a corrupted screenshot jpeg.
    Grateful!

  • Error ITMS-9000: Invalid Segment Alignment

    Hello everyone,
This is my first time submitting an app to the app store.  I've done ad-hoc distribution before, but my client needs this app on close to a thousand of their iPads, and they have corporate offices everywhere, so B2B is the way I have to go.
Everything is built and tested and works fine. Certificates and Provisioning Profiles are all fine. I am at the last possible step and when I go to submit the .ipa file in Application Loader 3.0, I can't shake this message...
ERROR ITMS-9000: "Invalid Segment Alignment. This app does not have the proper segment alignment and should be rebuilt with the latest version of Xcode. Please contact Developer Technical Support if you need further assistance."
    Here's the details...
The app was built in Adobe Flash CC 2014 using AIR for IOS 14.0. I used my PC for the actual building/publishing of the app and then transferred the .ipa file to my Macbook when I tested it and everything was finalized by the client.  Application loader will not let me deliver the app to iTunes connect for submission.  I keep getting this error.
I've tried everything I can think of.  I've installed Flash CC on my Macbook and tried publishing again.  All the Certificates and Provisioning Profiles were made and downloaded on the Macbook.  I've tried submitting .ipas that were published in AIR for IOS 14.0 and 13.0.  I've tried uninstalling xCode 6 and Application Loader 3 and using older versions.  So far, nothing has worked.
Has this happened to anyone else?  I'm really in a jam here.  My client needs their app and I can't fix this last issue.  It's very difficult because Adobe Customer Support says that the problem is Apple's Application Loader since the app works fine and distributes without problem ad-hoc.  Apple Customer Support says they can't help either, since the app was built in a 3rd party software and not in xCode.  If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be amazing.
    Thanks,
    Lee

There's a huge issue with this on Adobe's developer forums.
This issue is happening to people everywhere, and it's only been happening for about 20 days or so.  Before that Flash CC apps uploaded fine.
There is a successful workaround to the problem that a couple of guys came up with, but it's all terminal coding kind of stuff, and that's miles beyond my comprehension.  That kind of coding is way past me, which is why I built it using Flash to begin with, because Action Script is simple.  It would take me longer to figure out the work around that it did for me to build the app itself. lol
    Any other ideas???

  • ERROR ITMS-9000 (again)

Ok, I'm stumped. I see other have had this issue but, nothing seems to fix this. This isn't my first book on itunes, and I didn't have this problem last time. I'm exporting from Indesign CS6. Here is my error:

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had done screen shots on the iPad and then emailed them to my Mac. I then worked to cut the black bar off the top, but some how Photoshop wasn't saving them correctly. I couldn't even reopen them in PS. So, I downloaded them again, went back in, saved them as .jpegs and then reuploaded.  That solved it.  It was quite bizarre.
Now trying to get the description listing right in the iBookstore.
I wrote the piece out, I thought in TextEdit.  Then pasted it into the box in iTunesProducer. When I was getting the error message above, it also was saying that there's a 4,000-character limit. So, I copied it into Pages and did a character count and saw 3,887.  I still had to cut about 500 chactacters out.  Support responded and said I was still very close to the limit, so I don't know what it was they were counting. My Pages counter said it was close to 3,300....
My problem now is that they have bullet points on lines with no text now.  They've fixed it from how it was first diplaying.  So, I'm trying to get that cleaned up.  It's their fault, but it looks like me, the publisher, is the one who is clueless......

    Hello everybody.
I have made a ebook, that i want to publish to iBooks store.
I have made the ebook in Pages.
When i try to to publish the epub to iBooks store with iTunes Producer i get the error ITMS-9000.
I have some pictures in my ebook.
    What shoud i do?

It looks like a possible encoding problem.  You should try making sure that the path of those files does NOT include any words with accented characters in them, like Sk?rmbillede appears to be.  Also no spaces probably.

  • ERROR ITMS-9000: Missing Code Signing Entitlements when adding app to Apple App Store

My client is getting the following error when sending my app (compiled in Flash Pro CC 2014 with AIR SDK 15.0.0.356) to the Apple app store:
ERROR ITMS-9000: "Missing Code Signing Entitlements. No entitlements found in bundle
    'com.xxxxxx.xx.xxx' for excutable 'payload/xxxxx.app./xxxx'.""
He is saying that I need to send them the entitlements file.
I can't find out any information about this with regards to Adobe Air compiled iOS apps, apart from this old post:
Adding iOS entitlements to AIR apps
which states that 'the packager configures the entitlements file '
Can anyone explain what might be missing here?
    Thanks,
    Alan.

It looks as if this problem is solved by doing step 2 from here:
    http://dev.mlsdigital.net/posts/how-to-resign-an-ios-app-from-external-developers/
It basically states that the client needs to produce the entitlements file and lists the following that the client will provide themselves:
    A “Mobile Provisioning Profile”
    An “Entitlements.plist”
    An “iOS Distribution Certificate”
iReSign OS X app (or you could use command line)
Hope this helps someone. We've run into quite a few problems trying to get the Flash Air compiled App to both enterprise and Apple Store as it can't come from us (the developers) it has to be signed and delivered from the client.

    Hello Forum Users…
For those of you who have run into the upload roadblock, getting an error message similar to this:
    Package Summary:
1 package(s) were not uploaded because they had problems:
/Users/slm/Desktop/MUSIC to PICTURE for IBOOK/2012 MTP for iTUNES Bookstore/9780615600918.itmsp - Error Messages:

ERROR ITMS-9000: "OPS/ibooks.ncx(5): 'p50': fragment identifier is not defined in 'OPS/content9.xhtml'" at Book (MZItmspBookPackage)
Following is a "specific" fix, but the idea of the fix will help you with your specifics too.
I tried for 17 days to upload a book that looked and worked perfectly in iPAD via Preview.
After many discussions with Apple, who to their credit stayed with me over 2-3 days, I decided to play a hunch.
I went into a duplicated copy of the book and on every page, (because the error message was not telling the whole story), looked for what InDesign would call "Overset Text."
Now... the "flaw" in iBOOK Author (hint) is that it won't advise you of this "overset text" as does InDesign.
And to compound the matter, the exported ePUB document WORKS in iPAD Preview.
    See Screenshots from InDesign:
Okay... Couldn't add it but it is a Warning Box that says there is overset text. (Characters which exceed the text box.)
Nevertheless, I played this hunch, and sure enough found a few boxes with the + in them.  In other words I clicked on EVERY text holder and every text block in the entire document.
Where I found + signs, I simply deleted some carriage returns from the iBOOK file... (please note… carriage returns and literally empty spaces that caused the overset text) and then erased all previous copies of the Music to Picture Book on my hard drive,  iTUNES and iPAD.
The result?  A "text-book" upload with no snags!  As my Son would say… "Victory!"
So, first make sure that you are using only PNGs, Jpegs and Movie files to iBook Specs.  Then... make sure there are no overset text boxes, which you must do manually.
    Enjoy & Godspeed!

    Hello Fellow iBook Authors!
Today I received the same error that you all have been discussing.  I tried selecting the DRM
and this did not work for me, though I'm glad it did for some.  Here's what I did as a work-around. . .
Since iBooks Author did not have a problem with Videos, I simply used one of my video programs, ScreenFlow to turn the audio into a video file m4v.  I added an image and extended the length or timing of the image to span the length of the audio file.  Then exported as an .mov.  I then opened QuickTime and opened the file and exported the file to iTunes.
You can use iMovie, Camtasia or any other progam that will allow you to export the audio as a movie file.  Does this make sense?  I hope this helps, at least in the short-term.
