I get an error 42110 upon opening itunes. It has no effect on downloading to or playing my library. However when I try to print a jewel case insert the text prints over its self. How do I fix this. It only started recently.

First, update iTunes, then connect the phone to the computer and do a restore. This will also get your iOS up to date. Your phone should operate correctly after doing this, if not, you will most likely need to have the phone serviced or replaced.

If you are downloading .exe files, those are Windows programs, and will not run on your Mac unless you install Windows on it. (That is possible, if you need one of those apps.)

Firefox synch does not synch new bookmarks inside enclosing folders but leaves them at a higher directory on remote computers. How do I fix this? Xmarks did this flawlessly!

I make a new bookmark at home and save the bookmark in an existing folder within an existing folder (two levels deep). When I synch and look at the same bookmark on my work computer the new bookmark is outside the second (enclosing) folder. How do I fix this.

GetFileInfo
SetFileInfo
and maybe find
for cryptic details use the man command
Macintosh-HD -> Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal
man SetFileInfo
You may use the SetFileInfo command to set the file type & the program which will open the file.

Everytime I open a message, I get an error message saying that I have to have Adobe 9.0 or higher even though I have installed Adobe 10.0 on my PC. How do I fix this?

Whenever there is an attachment to a message for my ATT or Yahoo email on Firefox, I get the error message stating that I need Adobe 9.0 or higher to access the email I am opening. I have downloaded Adobe 10.0 and restarted the machine multiple times, but I still get the error message. I click on OK and then the message opens, but the error message is still an irritant. I do NOT have this problem on Int Exp.

It should be telling you to download the latest iTunes on your computer... you can't install iTunes on your iPhone.

I have a camcorder that records in the .MOD format. It is a Panasonic SDR-S26 and is not compatible with MAC. I want to create a DVD using the video on my camcorder. How can I do this?

Trust me when I say this coming from 20 years of experience.
Get a powered external drive, format it 1 Partition Option: GUID and OS X Extended Journed as the format in Disk Utility.
Download and install Carbon Copy Cloner, clone internal drive to external drive.
Set a schedule to remind you to do it at least once a week, keep it near your charger.
When you plug your charger in, do plug the clone and power the machine up, set the display to sleep only,
CCC will do the rest.
If you want to boot from it, hold the option/alt and select it Startup Manager.
I've seen many TimeMachine and TimeCapsule nightmares and so far haven't seen a problem from anyone using a bootable clone.
It's simple, it's easy, it's more reliable and more powerful than what Apple does and it only takes plugging in a extra cable.
Make as many clones as you want, keep them time seperated, off site etc. etc.
Cables don't have network issues, clones can be verified in seconds merely by booting from them.
Clones protect your productivity, your up in seconds on a clone despite even the hard drive dying.
Software problem? No sweat, boot of the clone and reverse clone your problems away.
If you want to fuss and muss with half implemented TimeMachine and TimeCapsule network headaches then prepare to suffer.
I don't like to suffer, I bought a Mac not to suffer, but it appears you do with TimeMachine and TimeCapsule.

If anyone is reading this still looking for what caused the issue and how to fix it here is what I discovered.
The antivirus program our company uses, Bitdefender Antivirus Plus, was causing some of the PDF files not to open. After troubleshooting the different modules and settings the culprit was..
Scan SSL in Privacy Control Settings. Turning it OFF solved the problem and all the PDF files that previously would not open now open just fine. This issue has been sent to Bitdefender for them to review. If you use a different antivirus program and are having this issue try locating the Scan SSL setting and see if turning it off solves the problem.

You could try Videora (http://www.videora.com/) - the downside here is that they have specific versions for specific phones, and sometimes it will makea file that plays perfectly in the desired phone but can't be shared to other models. The don't show a version for the N79, but try the N96 one because the N96 is the most similar OS to yours that they offer.

Can anyone please tell me what does the error message Entry "1 WC 99" does not exist in T508A (check entry) means? I was trying to 'generate work schedule manually' when got this error. In the above error message, 1 means employee subgroup grouping.....WC is Holiday Calender......and 99 is personal subarea grouping.....
I went to the table using se16 but could not make out how I can input those entries in the table....
