Error message at installation

Bonjour,
As Claudio points out, this forum is for discussing the Adobe Forums, themselves.
There is a very active Premiere Pro Forum, and I will Move your post to that forum. Your link, and any e-mail subscriptions will follow.
Good luck,

  • Error message Adobe Premiere Pro CC has stopped working

I am working from a PC with Windows 7 and an i7 intel CPU. Premiere was working just fine and then one day it decided to throw errors at me when I try to place a clip on the timeline. The program will start up fine and import video clips, but won't allow me to add the clips to the timeline without presenting the error message. I have tried updating the drivers through Intel (some other form suggested this) but no luck. I also tried updating Premiere with hope that would fix it. I then uninstalled and reinstalled the program and still no change.
    Anyone else had this problem?
    Any answers would be great!

I have just had the same thing happen to me too. Everything has been working fine but today, Premiere has crashed/stopped working twice. I have managed to get back into it now, but it won't playback either the Source or Program Monitors, saying there is a 'Low-level exception in Adobe Player (Player)'.

    Grazie in anticipo dell'aiuto
I downloaded Adobe Premiere Pro, and every time I try to run it I get this message: "Error starting Adobe premiere pro. Premiere Pro can not access the preferences folder. It 'possible that the user does not have permission ... .. ". I tweaked the permissions of the folders, but continues to repeat the same message, without even allowing the applications to open. What can I do?
P.S. The strange thing is that Premiere is the only program that harbor the "pro" ... all the others are just CC. I do not know if it can be a factor ....
    Thanks in advance aid

Doing Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 [says Encore and also for "All" versions of Premiere] will sometimes fix "odd" errors

It sounds like you downloaded the wrong application, namely Adobe Premiere Elements.
If you meant Adobe Photoshop Elements, you're in the wrong forum.  This is not the Elements forum.
Here's the link to the forum you want:
    https://forums.adobe.com/community/photoshop_elements/content
If you mean Photoshop proper, since you are posting in the Photoshop forum, give version details and your system specs.
    BOILERPLATE TEXT:
Note that this is boilerplate text.
If you give complete and detailed information about your setup and the issue at hand,
such as your platform (Mac or Win),
exact versions of your OS, of Photoshop (not just "CS6", but something like CS6v.13.0.6) and of Bridge,
your settings in Photoshop > Preference > Performance
the type of file you were working on,
machine specs, such as total installed RAM, scratch file HDs, total available HD space, video card specs, including total VRAM installed,
what troubleshooting steps you have taken so far,
    what error message(s) you receive,
if having issues opening raw files also the exact camera make and model that generated them,
if you're having printing issues, indicate the exact make and model of your printer, paper size, image dimensions in pixels (so many pixels wide by so many pixels high). if going through a RIP, specify that too.
    etc.,
someone may be able to help you (not necessarily this poster, who is not a Windows user).
a screen shot of your settings or of the image could be very helpful too.

    Hello,

Does someone know where the problem comes from ?
    Thank you

    Hello,
    Yes you are right.
In the meantime I found a similar post which had a response which helped me fix the problem.
I went to Control Panel Device Management to update my graphic cards (intel HD Graphics 4000 and NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M).
Then I uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere Pro and it worked.
    Hope this helps others
    Thanks for your time,

    Can you help me?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Adobe premiere pro bloque au chargement

    Bonjour,
    Bonjour,
Mettez a jour vos pilotes vidéo puis recommencez.

    http://helpx.adobe.com/fr/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-deactivation-products.html
    Bonne chance!

  • Error message transferring premiere pro CS3 project ot Encore

I use an earlire version of Premiere pro with no problem.  I cannot use CS3.  I can create a project and try to export
it to Encore to burn it to a DVD, but I get the following message:
PGC "project name" has an error at 00;05;55;14  Internal software error %0, line "project name"-PGC info;name="project name", ref=Bpgc,time=00;05;55;14
One person suggested changing the Bitrate from variable to constant.  I did that.  Same error message.
I'm really frustrated.  Can anyone help?

Ah, the dreaded PGC error. I would suggest that you head to the Encore Forum, and do a search for "PGC." There are probably 5 threads, and two are very, very long. Look closely, as some replies are tangents, and never proved to be useful, but some suggestions did - in certain circumstances.
Look closely at replies by Jeff Bellune and Stanley Jones, as they offer the most info.
    Good luck,
    Hunt
PS - welcome to the forum. I would also post to the Encore Forum with as much info as possible, as Stanley never makes it over here and has worked on this error for some years.

  • Error Message - "Adobe Premiere Elements.exe has stopped working"

This has happened before but I have been able to work out of it previously.  Now no matter what I do (such as starting a new project) it crashes every time.  I read alot of the posts/articles here about troubleshooting PE but to no avail.  Basically I can capture, save, render, even "share" the project in other formats, but anytime I try to edit, or even watch any video in the viewer, it crashes.  Even if I advance the video one frame it crashes!  Event viewer reveals that the error event ID is 1000.  Today's crashes have a time stamp of 0x46df9114, faulting module MSVCR80.dll.  Yesterday's crashes list a different faulting module.  There is also an exception code, fault offset, process ID.  Not sure what information is needed.  Any help is greatly appreciated - I am behind on an important project.  Many thanks!
    Specs:
    Dell XPS 420
Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit
    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz
    4 GB RAM

First, Google "MSVCR80.dll" and limit to "Adobe Premiere." Leave off "Elements" for now. You will find plenty of articles and some in this forum (one very recently). Many will have Adobe KB articles on problems and what to do.
Next, this ARTICLE might yield some clues to any other problem, at the time of the crashes.
    Good luck,
    Hunt
