Error message - BSEG-WRBTR enter a numeric value

Hi,
I am having a problem with loading data using a abap program that calls RFBIBL00 program and the fb01 Transaction. The process is that the user enters the data in a excel sheet, saves as a tab deliminted txt file. The abap program reads the txt file, does some processing and submits the RFBIBL00 program with the FB01 code. When I check in SM35, it shows on the "incorrect " tab. When you display the log for the process, It is displaying "Formatting error in the field BSEG-WRBTR; see next message" and "Enter a numeric value". I am not sure where to start looking to try to correct this problem. I am tracing the abap program that submits the RFBIBL00 process and I am not finding where this is occuring. I am new to the ABAP world and I am having a hard time figuring this out. Can someone please let me know if I am proceeding in the right direction or if there is another way of solving this. I am not sure what program is generating the above error messages. If there is more information that is needed, please let me know and I will try to get it for you.

Hi,
There may be two possiblities for this issue.
1. Incorrect data passed to the field BSEG-WRBTR
2. Check the Decemial Notation(Menu Path->System->status->Own profile and Defaults Tab). If it is diffrent with the entered amount format, then it will trigger error.
YOu can run the Bach in the fouground by choosing fouground radio button option in the Pop up.

Hi, I had the same problem. Solution for me:
OPERATION-ACTIVITY = <T>-ACTIVITY. " activity for example "5" ---> problem error "Enter a numeric value"
OPERATION-ACTIVITY = <T>-ACTIVITY. " activity for example "0005" ---> no problem --> include leading 0
so I chanded <t>-activity field type to N(4) and no problem...

Error Message - ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: Bulk Bind: Trunc

This is driving me nuts!
I am getting this error from OWB during a mapping process.
I have checked the input data and it looks fine.
The run time audit browser just lists all of the steps but does not make it clear which one failed. Is it the last one which is shown (does not have HIDE as selection link.)
I also tried to determine which row was causing the problem and followed the instructions at http://www.nicholasgoodman.com/bt/blog/2005/07/, but no row_id was recorded in the views. In actual fact there wasn't very much audit info other than that the mapping ran and was complete (even though it failed).
In the error message section it has, in order

Error Message - ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: Bulk Bind: Truncated Bind

From the PL/SQL error I thought it may be trying to insert into a data field that was too small, but all of the columns that are used are full of data of length shorter than all of the target tables.
I have even started running the cursors in the generated PLSQL but I don't get the error by doing this.

I managed to work it out and it had to do with the selection criteria of one of the filters.
For anyone else facing this error, check to see if any of the rows being inserted has the same key/identifier as some existing in the target table. If so add an extra condition to the where clause.
This worked for me.

Hi Venuthurupalli,
As valery has said once you select the value to be of type integer,once you perform an action it will be validated and error message that non numeric characters are there will be shown. If you want to set additional constraints like max value, min value etc you can use simple types for it.
On the project structure on left hand side under local dictionary ->datatypes->simple types create a simple type of type integer
The attribute which you are binding to value property ;make its type as simple type which you made

If i am using 11G andrtp is 11g but on rtp side if they configure SSL, is it mandatory to do it from our side also?No it not mandatory to enable SSL at your end however you have to configure identity and trsut at your end.
Any update on my regular question(The main forum question)?You mentioned that you are posting message from 10g to 11g and as per log you are sending it to URL - https://dev-nog.server:443/b2b/transportServlet
So few things which I see as a problem are-
1. You should use URL https://hostname:soa_server_ssl_port/b2b/httpReceiver instead of https://dev-nog.server:443/b2b/transportServlet
2. SOA server SSL port should be enabled (SSL should be enabled on SOA server)
3. You should configure wallet at 10g side to contain trust cert of 11g server

A number of users who have chosen to set up iCloud mail manually in the Mail application seem to encounter problems with continually being asked to sign in. This may well be a result of incorrect settings such as not setting 'Apple Token' for authentication under the accounts advanced settings.
A more general approach to remedying such problems would be to turn off Mail in System Preferences/Settings > iCloud, checking the account has been removed from Mail (and deleting it if it hasn't), restarting and then enabling iCloud Mail again from System Preferences/Settings > iCloud. This will ensure the correct settings are used.

OSX Mavericks & QT Error Message: Movie contains an incorrect time value

Ever since I upgraded, I can not edit my QTime movies in Quicktime Player 7. I keep getting
Error Message: Movie contains an incorrect time value
All the fixes I have read from the past blogs are not working.
Is there a fix? If not, what editing software do I need to start using that is as easy as Quicktime 7 was?

I figured out a work around, I trim the selection I want, then export to a MOV file with same settings (I have tried H264 and ProRes compression). I can then open that file to copy and paste.
What a pain - I hope apple can update this issue somehow.

Error message " the field has no defined values

Hi friends,
I have declared a field 'GV_total' for totals in global declaration and also in currency fields.
I have calculated the total in the program lines into this variable 'GV_total' and displaying this variable GV_total in the text element.
I have activated the smartform and run the print program, it is displaying the total currectly in the output.
Now the issue is, when I activate the smartform it is diplaying error message like "GV_total has no defined values".
how to rectify this error.
Please help me to solve this issue.

Hi,
It is just a warning, you can avoid this by specifying a Value(say 0) while declaring the variable in Global definitions.

I try to use this bapi to upload my Service Entry Sheet with given data.
However, I encountered the above error message ' Please enter a price '.
I've checked that i passed in the GR_PRICE value and all the required parameters (ENTRYSHEETACCOUNTASSIGNMENT, ENTRYSHEETSERVICES ENTRYSHEETSRVACCASSVALUES, HEADER) too.
Does anyone encounter this problem?

i've found out the reason.... this is because, i passed in some value to entrysheetservices-pln_pckg and entrysheetservices-pln_line. it supposed to be set ast '00000000'.

Hi experts
I have value contracts scenario, when I create a Release Orders thatu2019s exceeds the value of the contract the system raise a message error, but in this case the decimal expression in wrong.
The decimal expression of the country is 1.234.567,89
The decimal expression of my user is 1.234.567,89
Example:
The contract value is 10.000
I create a release order for 15.000
The message error is "Target value in contract &1, item &2 is exceeded by 50.00", the correct messages should be: "Target value in contract &1, item &2 is exceeded by 5.000,00"
I release two errors, the decimal expression according to my user and country doesn't match or the validation is doing some conversion.
Do you have any idea was wrong??

Just select the error message in the log and click technical info . In the performance assistant it will show like :

We are facing a challenge with booking employees on training activities on a date when they were not "active" at work.
The challenge is that an employee may attend a training event prior to his hiring date, or in between contracts ie while he is not formally employed.
Is there a way to book a participant if is not active in transaction code PA30 PA40.

I would be challenging the business as to whether this should even be a valid business practice. Typically, learners should not be taking training under these scenarios...there can be a variety of legal implications associated with this practice. For example, you might be obligated to compensate a learner for their time if they are training prior to hire date. And what if someone is travelling to attend training (but not on the payroll), and they are injured?

I am attempting to make changes to my itunes account, but when I hit done, an error message "enter at most 3 letters or numbers for province" appears. I have not attempted to make any modificaitons to this field. The only options I have for data in this field are picked from a drop down menu. I have no idea why this msg is appearing. I want to to create a Connection Object in the Web IC.
I enter the address information (with the country) then save.
The following error message is displayed : "Incomplete address; enter country"
Has anybody already encountered this problem?

Trying to set up Directv GenieGO using Airport Extreme. Getting error message: DHCP range entered conflicts with the WAN IP Address of your base station. How do I resolve the conflict.

Trying to configure an Airport Extreme manually. After I enter the IP Address of the GenieGo along with the rest of information required I am getting the following error message when I click update:
DHCP range entered conflicts with the WAN IP address of your base station.
How do I resolve the conflict?

You cannot use the same range on LAN and WAN if you are routing.. it must be different.. and you should not be routing at all.
The AE should be in bridge mode. NO DHCP settings at all.
