Error Message Combining PDF Files, Every Time
Why do I get an error message from Adobe when trying to combine PDF files, every time!

Please let me know what errors you are getting from Combining files.
Are your PDF files big, encrypted PDF files or scanned images PDF files?
Have you tried to combine smaller/simple files? If so, does Combine Files work?

A lot of the time the files can not be combined because of incompatible fonts, or at least font sets that could not be resolved. Maybe that will give you some direction to look at.

I have removed every trace of Pithhelmet, (via spotlight)
Trashed the preferences for Safari, restarted computer to no avail.
It just keeps keepin on.
ThanksIn the past I was able to bypass the message by editing the Info.plist file and updating the MaxBundleVersion variable, but not so this time around. As of today the developer seems to indicate there's no immediate fix becuase of how Safari 5.1 handles multiprocess page rendering. Probably best to stay tuned to Mike's website for now.

Every time I go to Mozilla I get an error message which says "www.netregistry.com.au:443 uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided." I have checked wit netregistry and there is not an issue on their end and we determined there is an issue with Mozilla. Could you please advise why this message is coming up. It has only been happening for the past 3 weeks.

Whenever I try to view a PDF file, I'm getting the error message "Before viewing PDF documents in this browser you must launch Adobe Reader and accept the End User License Agreement, then Quit and relaunch the browser." I have the new Adobe Reader but am still getting this message.
Even after launching Reader and accepting the EULA? Most strange.

This started happening after I attempted to download my property tax report from the county. I will get the page I actually wanted to download but I also get page after page of unwanted material downloaded to my MacBook. The only way I can stop the massive page download is to force quite the MacBook and then restart it and delete all the unwanted pages.
I have updated my firefox files as directed, is there anything else I can or should do?

Check activation error message is popped up every time I try open a book.
I tried using both 3.0 and 4.0 version in my windows 8.1 HP laptop. Doesn't work. What could be the solution?
I had the same problem after upgrading to Digital Editions 4.0 on Windows 8.1. I could open books purchased previous to upgrading but not those purchased after upgrading to 4.0. I resolved this by de-authorizing and then authorizing Digital Editions 4.0.

Error message: Missing PDF maker files in Word 2007
OK, I am beyond frustrated. I have had nothing but trouble with Windows Vista and Adobe Acrobat. Please help!!!
What happens: first, the pdf addin for Word 2007 suddenly becomes disabled, for no apparent reason. Forget about trying to re-enable it through the Add-Ins menu, because Word tells me that the "connected state of Office Add-Ins registered in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE cannot be changed". This is a problem for me, because I use a special font (Vietnamese) that sometimes gets corrupted when running pdf maker. The only consistent way I have found to avoid this problem is to run the pdf maker as "Quick PDF" and as far as I can see that option is only available through the pdf addin in Word, I have never been able to find it when I open the Acrobat program and create a pdf from there.
Second problem: shortly after the pdf addin becomes disabled, my Acrobat program loses the ability to create pdfs altogether. I get the error message "Missing PDF maker files". Yes, I have tried repairing the installation and re-starting my computer per the instructions given. It doesn't fix the problem. I also tried looking in the Knowledge Database on this website, but it appears that the instructions they have to fix the problem there are for earlier versions of Word, not 2007, because my version of word does not look like the version of Word in their little videos.
This is the second time this has happened. The first time I resolved the problem by a) re-installing Acrobat, which is a pain because it involves calling Adobe and wading through their customer service to get a new installation number, and b) paying a computer repair service to dig deep into the guts of my computer and convince it to change the Office Add-ins to allow the pdf addin again. It worked for about 6 months, and now I have the same problem again. For some reason Vista is spontaneously disabling Acrobat.
I simply cannot deal with this every few months. We all know that Vista is a crappy program, but I run a business and I need a program that works with whatever crappy program Microsoft puts out. Please, can anyone give me suggestions about how to re-enable these functions when Vista disables them?

For the 1st time I am trying to send an iphoto by e-mail but get the error message " combination of username and password not recognised by the server" I use Sky Mail ( yahoo mail) and input the same username and password that I access Sky Mail - have retried many times. Predictably the Sky help desk have no idea. Can anyone help please?
I regret that you're having trouble setting up your email, corbad! You're on the right track with your incoming email address. You might also try incoming.verizon.net or incoming.yahoo.verizon.net as possible alternatives, and 995 as the port number. Please let me know how that goes!

I am trying to convert an Illustrator cs6 file to a PDF and every time I do it, I lose all text and images. Can someone provide some assistance? Thank you!
It's always a good idea to supply platform and AI version info.
How are you "converting" the file? Are you choosing "Save As" and selecting PDF from the file format options? This will bring up additional save options. I would suggest "Illustrator Default" setting unless you have specific needs. -
How do I combine files, every time I click on the link "combine files", the answer I receive is a suscription window, I already have a monthly suscription!
A quick alternative to email.
Copy the files onto a USB drive. Make sure that "Ignore permissions on this drive" is set. (Get Info on the drive from Finder).
Then copy them from the drive to the destination user account.

This sometimes resolved by unplugging the Apple TV for a few moments and trying again, others have found restarting the router may help. Another reason that message can occur is when the download speed is extremely slow, have you tested your Internet download speed with speediest.net. -
The function to combine pdf files and the function to add bookmarks stopped working in 10.x
We had VBA scripts in Access 2003 running with Acrobat 7.0 standard version to combine pdf files and to add bookmarks. The scripts worked fine. Now we installed 10.x and the functions stopped working. Does anyone share the same experience?
In the scripts, we just call the OLE object with the code like:
Set acroOrigPdfDoc = CreateObject("AcroExch.PDDoc")
Set acroNewPdfDoc = CreateObject("AcroExch.PDDoc")
Then we have the call "acroOrigPdfDoc.InsertPages" and "acroOrigPdfDoc.Save" to save the combined pdf files. All these functions work fine under 7.x. Under 10.x, they stopped working without any error messages.
