Error Message: file is empty or cannot be read

Hi there
I am using a Sony Xperia to send files to an hp printer. When I send pdf files that have been stored on my computer there are no issues. But when I use the "share with" feature, I often get the "file is empty or cannot be read" error message. Suggestions?

I am using my dual-boot HP TouchPad with Android ICS installed. HP ePrint Home & Biz is installed from the Play Store.
I have been attempting to print web pages, or emails and get the same error message each time. Tried different email clients, and web browsers - "sharing" to the ePrint app produces the "File is empty or cannot be read" error. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the app.
The ePrint app can print PDF files, photos, and office files to my 8600 Premium Pro printer.
Is the app limited to the above files? I mainly need it to print emails and web pages. The "share to email" does work, thankfully!

Can anyone help me with this problem. I tried updating the latest itunes and it caused an error MSVCR80.dll missing. I then tried fixing it after reading other people had the same problem and a solution was given about uninstaling itunes and the order in which to do that. I did that but now get the error "the files "itunes library.itl" cannot be read because it was created with a newer version of itunes. I see a solution has been given about this but I cannot find what is suggested to enable me to follow instructions. Can anyone please go through step by step (letting me know where I can find what is needed) to enable me to be able tio log into itues again. Thanks

If you are having issues with iTunes after an attempted update, you may find the following article helpful:

You may want to make sure that in the last step (reinstalling iTunes) that you are installing the latest/newest available version, and not attempting a reinstall from an older file.

Have you recently reinstalled your OS from an older DVD or backup or ued your Library from a different System? Try to update to the newest Version of iTunes (it should be 10.4.1) from the Apple Menu -> Software Update.
That should resolve that problem.

I still can not open iTunes, and I keep getting an error message that tells me that the file iTunes Library.itl cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of itunes. I am currently using version 7.5.0.20

I have declined many of the updates, as they take so long to download on dial up...(yup, I live in the sticks!)....I am still running version 7.5.0.20 but cannot open iTunes at all and receive the error I posted earlier, and am wondering if updating to version 8 will rid me of the error, or make things worse?
I did a system restore a few weeks ago and am wondering if that affected my iTunes at all....just a thought. Still need to hear your ideas to fix my problem.

iTunes was uninstalled from my computer and I need to reinstall it. I tried to download 7.3.2 but it says I already have iTunes on my computer. When I try to open iTunes I get this error message:
"The file "iTunes Library.itl" cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes."
What does this mean?

It means you had a newer version of iTunes installed previously, such as v7.6.
Why did you download 7.3 and not 7.6?

Problem solved by doing the following:
Open PC/Mac and search for iTunes Library.
From the list, select the most recent version of iTunes Library. Save this to a folder.
Delete iTunes from your computer.
Install latest version of iTunes.
When I opened the new version of iTunes, everything was there as before.
I didn't need to import the saved version of iTunes Library. Maybe this happens automatically?????

Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

FINALLY got my iTunes to update but now it won't open, the error message is "iTunes Library.itl" cannot be read b/c it was created by a newer version of iTunes.

This is getting irritating. I finally get the update to install now I get this new error message, I don't get it. I have Windows 7, all the updates have been installed on that, but I can't get the stupid iTunes to open. Seriously annoying! Can anyone help me?

Has anyone had any luck getting ITunes to work properly on a Windows 7 PC lately? Up until today, I could not open my ITunes at all because it said the disk was locked. A very helpful person at Apple Care told me to go into properties and release the read only box. I did and it did not help. So I uninstalled ITunes and downloaded the newest version. Now I get the message: ITunes Library.itl cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of ITunes.

How do I get onto my Itunes? I get this message even when I am doing something else.

Unless you recently attempted to downgrade iTunes this probably indicates a corrupt database. See Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash.

Strange error message "file is invisible"

Hello
I am moving files from my iMac to an external storage drive. I download many songs, TV shows, etc and I frequently move files from the iMac and then copy the link back to my iTunes.
I dragged 5 TV episodes from iTunes to the external storage drive. Four episodes copied as normally but the 5th would not copy. When I selected that episode separately to drag over, I got an error message "[filename} cannot be copied because it is invisible." The episode plays normally. It is synced to my Apple TV and iPod where it also plays normally. I downloaded all the episodes at the same time so I don't know why I get an error message on 1 episode.
Has anyone encountered this error message? Any thoughts on how to fix it?

I have not downgraded my itunes or done anything with it other than follow standard download instructions .I have an ipad one and iphone 3g, neither work now help?
