Error message in "Bank Information" in German

Hi,
When a user enters a Standard Percentage value in an incorrect format in the "Bank Information" service of ESS in the portal, I am getting the error message in German instead of English.
The backend has the user set to EN.
Can someone help me in resolving this issue?

The language in the user?
In the iView the language properties - force English

"Please review your billing information and approve it" This message shows up when I try to order prints. I did review my account and all is well. There is no way to get past the error message to complete my order.

Go back and re-enter all of your billing information, including the billing address. If that doesn't help try changing the Print Products Storte in iPhoto's Advanced preference pane, reboot, change it back to your country and try again.

I can't order prints from iPhoto. It keeps saying...

Please review your billing information and approve it.
What is wrong? What do they expect me to "review" that I haven't reviewed already? I've checked EVERYTHING on my account at least 10 times either through apple's website, iTunes app, and iPhoto app. Everything is 100% accurate on my account -- address, credit card number, verification code, EVERYTHING.
I've logged out of my account, flushed the browser cache, restarted my Mac, and done everything over again. I can't even find a working solution to this problem anywhere on this site nor even Google! VERY FRUSTRATED HERE.

Well, it's the stupidest thing! Why they can't give an error message that's meaningful is beyond me because I'd be hard-pressed to say that I'm the only one that's had this problem.
From iPhoto, you must click the Account Info button and sign in to your account.
Then you MUST edit your Billing Information. <-that is the stupid part.
It does not matter if you've edited and double-checked your info on Apple's website. iPhoto turns your credit card number into a bunch of XX's and deletes the security code so that pretty much defeats the purpose of Apple "storing" your credit card info for easy ordering. You must re-enter all your info through iPhoto before it lets you place an order. Ridiculous!

I get an error message when banking online involves seeing transactions that have posted to my bank account

I can get to my financial institution's web page and can login. My account comes up. But when I click on my checking or savings transactions I get this error message in Red "An unexpected system error occurred. Please try your request later. If the problem persists, please contact customer service."
After spending two hours with financial institution and clearing cookies, cache, etc. and creating a new login password the problem persists. I can get to everything involved with the financial institution using Internet Explorer.
No problem exists through the system used by said financial institution.

You have to go to SMTP settings for your email account and enter a password there. Sended and receiving are two different activities managed by 2 differet servers, and each may require a separate user ID and password.

Error message in bank accounts of Business Partners

Hi!
When we want to put a bank account for the business partner, we obtain this message: "This Entry already exists in the following tables 'BP _Bank account'".
For information my customer use SAP 2005 and the patch level 46..

Hi,
The issue mentioned by you is a DB specific issue which needs to be investigated by the Support Centre.

Error in ESS bank information application

Hi all,
In ESS personal inforamtion workset in bank details application when i am trying to edit the application it is giving the following error.
Data record 0000000400090 9999123120071015000 has grouping value "" instead of "99"
when I click the review button it is giving this error.
There is no functional consultant avaialable rigt now.Can anybody Pls help me .

It comes before the earliest retro date according to control record that changes relevant to payroll for this employee can be made.

Can i change the earliest retro. date in PA03 .......Is there any problem in doing so.?If not how to change it.

With Firefox running, Office 2007 generates a "Cannot Empty Clipboard" error message when pasting information between Excel cells -- the behavior goes away when I close Firefox. Is there a way to prevent this?

I am running Windows XP, Office 2007, and Firefox 3.6.13.
Whenever I have Firefox running in the background and I attempt to paste information between Excel cells a "Cannot Empty Clipboard" error is generated. I have attempted numerous other fixes for this: Excel and Office settings. But nothing seems to help. When I close Firefox, the errors are no longer generated.

The Skype add-in was the culprit in my case. Disabling it fixed the problem. As soon as I enable it, the problem comes back.

Error message information not displaying.

when we click on error message (red icon) information will be displayed related to the error. but one of my user is getting blank page but when i tried with his id message is coming normally can u please suggest where the problem is ?

Is it Custom message or SAP Standard message? What's the message number?
If it's a custom message through any enhancement, check with ABAPer whether there be any authorizations maintained.

Error message for ORA-904 incomplete in german locale [1.1.0.22.71]

As you can see, the name of the invalid column is not displayed when nls_language="GERMAN".
Maybe the second line '00904. 00000 - "%s: invalid identifier"' results from having a german Windows XP.
I don't know how it looks on english Windows or how it should look like. :-)
I run SQLDeveloper on XP Pro and Oracle 9.2 (on W2k).

If you take a closer look, the 00904. 00000 - "%s: invalid identifier" line is present in both languages - it's something that gets always appended.
As for the German message SQL Error: ORA-00904: Ungültiger Spaltenname, you see it's lacking any reference to the column. The German translator apparently let that slip out. If the substitution parameter was there, but unsubstituted for some reason, it would look like SQL Error: ORA-00904: "": Ungültiger Spaltenname.
You can contact Oracle through Metalink if you want this to get sorted out...

Information message to Error Message -HCM standard Leave Workflow

Hi ,
I am configuring leave management for a demo purpose.
The leave application workflow used is ws20000081.
There are few scenarios configured in system for not allowing leave applications for the employees .
Example:-paternity leave u2013 maximum days which employee can apply through one application is 3 working days
This validation is working fine as we directly using IT2001 application through tcode- PA30 .more than 3 days it giving an error message.
But issue is
When we are applying the leave through ws20000081, system is allowing more than 3 working days and allows a successful application. Then its allows a successful approval for employer. After approval system fails to update the data in system and forward the application to administrator where as in ideally system should not be allowing the employee for a successful application.
When we are applying the leave through ws20000081 and clicking on the u201Cchecku201D button system is giving the actual error message as an INFORMATION MESSAGE.
As it is an information message on ws20000081 application page, system is allowing successful application.
How can I change this information message as an error message u2013any STANDARD settings apart from taking the access key and change it (similar behavior as application as PA30)?

The validation can be even done prior to the workflow called. You may have to implement the BADI BADI - PT_GEN_REQ and inside the using the class - method IF_EX_PT_GEN_REQ~CHECK_IF_ACTOR_ABSENT can be used for the validation of this 3 days and generate an error message to portal.

Date Format Error message in German

Hello All
I am using Portal NW2004s SP12 and have mapped the UME to ABAP ECC System.
Suppose if user enters the in invalid format, the the error message is getting displayed in German language as below.
Bitte geben Sie den Wert in der Form 25/11/1987 ein
All other texts, labels, messages are in English only.
The German language error message comes only if date related error message is to be displayed.
This problem is with all the applications like Portal User Advanced Search in User Administration Role , ESS/MSS apps , etc.
I have checked the Browser's language, User's language, his country etc.
Please suggest the solution so that this message comes in English language.

This is a resource bundle translation bug, which you can report to SAP by opening a OSS Message.
As you are on EP7 SP12, I would recommend to apply the latest patch before you report this bug to check if this is already fixed.

Thunderbird just "spinning" no email downloaded no error message

My email hasn't updated since Jan 20. The spinning circle indicator just spins endlessly with no error messages and no information as to what it's trying to do. Any help?

No Dice. That didn't work. I can send email but get an error message saying that Thunderbird encountered a problem while trying to save the message to the sent folder.

System error message and application crash - ModName: lvrt.dll Offset: 00080a6a

I'm running into an error message which is proving particularly difficult to debug. After my built application has been running for some time, a windows system error will pop up telling me my application has done something bad and needs to be shut down (and sorry for the inconvenience). Clicking through to the "see what the error report contains" page reveals the issue as being in the lvrt.dll module at offset 0080a6a.
This unfortunately doesn't mean much to me.
On some occasions when I click "Don't Send", another error message pops up informing me there is "Not enough memory available to complete this operation".
The program will typically run between 8 and 24 hours before the error occurs, though I've had it run error-free for upwards of 48.
My program is unfortunately fairly large, and depends on communication with proprietary hardware so can't be uploaded in a functional state. In general terms, the body of the program (which is executing when the error occurs) involves RS-485 serial communication and simultaneous display of data to 7 continuously updating strip charts (producer-consumer design), along with envalope detection and RMS calculations in real time, all of which is multiplied by two parallel channels (around 1Mb/s data rate for each). The data is also buffered and stored in binary files for later review. Binary files are closed and a new one is opened for every 10 minutes of data collection (approx 50MB of data).
There are also about 40 user controls associated with each channel, and are polled periodically (a couple times a second). The crashes occur during over night tests, however, when there is no user input. Globals are used for inter-panel communication, but no global is written to in more than one location (most are read in multiple locations).
I know this is a bit of a shot in the dark here, but does the lvrt.dll error at offset 00080a6a mean anything to anyone? Are there any "typical" causes for a failure in lvrt.dll having to do with prolonged high data rate serial communications? For reference, this has occured on multiple machines, but all the machines it has occured on are identical out-of-the-box laptop models running XP 32. I'm going to try to run an overnight test tonight on the development machine and see if I get any different results (Vista 64 vs Windows XP 32).
I can't say my hopes are high with this one, and I'm gonna continue to comb over the code for any possible conflicts, but any insight would be appreciated.

Next time the error message comes up I will take a screenshot of it for you. Unfortunately that may not be until Monday, as tonight is the soonest I'll be able to run another long-term test. The time between failures is the most frustrating part to debug!
There are no errors on compiling or building the application in LabVIEW. My testing has been done mostly on the distribution laptops in application form, with no LabVIEW dev tools installed, Windows XP 32 bit.
The overnight test I attempted on the development machine (within the LabVIEW environment) welcomed me the next morning with a rebooted machine, and so I wasn't able to see an error message (if there was one). Vista 64 on the development machine. Reviewing the data files, I got about 9 hours worth before the crash.
Given the time between failures and the large volume of data I'm passing around, this seems like memory leak type behavior. I'm a bit confused by the fact that it seems to fail in lvrt.dll every time, though. I'm don't know what that indicates, if anything.

Error message disble the Fields in Selection Screen

In my Report i am validating some fields as mandatory.
If the field is initial then one Error message should be display in the screen and user has to modify the selection screen.
But after displaying the errro message my selection screen is input disable except the mandatory field.
I want all the fields should be input enable.

So, if you really want that each and every field be editable when an error is raised, declare every parameter and select-options in a big block, and perform the check in a unique AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON BLOCK xxx.
Use Error message, Warning and Information don't break the flow of the report.
