Error message in Itune, after uninstalling and reinstalling of itune

I have uninstalled the itunes by following the instructions in apple website, removing intunes, quicktime and other components in my computer. Then after I reinstalled the itunes 10, it doesnt launch the itunes and gives me a message that "The itunes application could not be opened. An unknown error occured (-50)". I would very much appreciate if someone could explain the solution to this problem. Thanks.

Doublechecking something before proceeding. Do you have a 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7?

Entry point errors can usually be fixed by deleting the offending dll, then repairing the component it is part of from the programs and features control panel. Unfortunately you neglected to include the detail of which dll is mentioned.

Let's first try something relatively simple. Download and save a 64-bit version of the iTunes installer (iTunes64Setup.exe) to your hard drive. (Don't run the install on line.)
Now try right-clicking the installer file and selecting "Run as administrator".
Does that get you past the privileges errors?

That crash appears to be casued by the Facebook plug-in.
Create a new account (systempreferences -> accounts or Users & Groups on 10.7 and 10.8), make a new Library in that account, import some shots and see if the problem is repeated there. If it is, then a re-install of the app might be indicated. If it's not, then it's likely the app is okay and the problem is something in the main account.

Now I get "The saved printer information is not compatible with this version of Photoshop Elements, or the saved printer is no longer available. You will need to check your printer settings before printing."
I have confirmed the my settings are correct and I am able to print to the printer using other applications.

It's the same printer driver version. nothing to roll back. I fixed the issue by deleting the %APPDATA%\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\11.0 folder

I've resolved the issue with iTunes constantly not responding. It's a bit embarrassing. I had a DVD in the drive that was corrupt, and once I was able to remove it - BAM - iTunes ran perfectly.

I can go into chrome without any issues and watch any video without any problem. the second i get into firefox nothing works. i have had this issue on and off for years. i really do not see why you cannot fix this if everybody else can. i have uninstalled and reinstalled firefox and flash player multiple times. nothing seems to work. Can't get rid of the blue "downloading the latest applications" bar that seems to be just hanging and won't go away. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, but the bar is still there after 2 days. I updated something (can't remember what!) on I.E., and it had the same blue bar, but it had a box I could x out of so it went away on I.E. I don't know why the blue bar is there on Firefox, as I did the update while on I.E.

A window asked me to close firefox.exe so it could do something (AVG I think). Now, I can't open Firefox at all even after uninstalling and reinstalling.

Anyone getting the error message- windows error 127? It keeps coming up everytime I try to open iTunes- even after uninstalling and reinstalling.

Error message 127 says to uninstall and re-install nothing works.

I can't get itunes uninstalled and re-installed on my Dell conputer. I have windows 7. The error message 127 and everything else keeps comming up. I did the complete uninstall and re-install as they said. It doesn't work. What else is there to do. I have followed all the directions, that are on the website. this happened when itunes asked for an update and it has has this problem ever since. this is unacceptable!!!

Firefox will no longer work after uninstalling and reinstalling

I am running max osx 10.6.3 and when i closed firefox i couldnt reopen it unless i force quit the app or quit it completely before closing the browser so i uninstalled and then reinstalled but the problem persisted so I deleted the contents of the preference folder after installing then reinstalled but now everytime i try to open it it gives me an error saying "a copy of firefox is already open. only one cope of firefox can be open at a time". I restarted the computer several times but that didnt fix anything and i can no longer start firefox. I am assuming its because there is a file somewhere telling firefox that it is open but I can find it.

I cant really get into firefox to disable or uninstall them and while an extension may have been causing my original problem, it isnt anymore. Now its a problem with the firefox system files but I guess I may be wrong.
