Error message: Incirrect serial number
I recently baught Photoshop premier elements 10 from Adobe. I have the DVD and the box with the serialnumber. The number starts with 1057-1788- ...(total six groups with four digits).
When I continue I get the error message that the serialnimber is wrong. I have checked all the digits several times. What shall I do?
Call sales and serail number support by phone. Nothing anyone can do here. Could be you ordered the wrong edition (upgrade vs. full), could be they placed a wrong sticker on it (happens, but rarely), could be anything else...

My old PC crashed and died, and I am unable to deactivate the licence of Photoshop Elements 7.
I re-installed Photoshop Elements 7 via a trial download from Adobe website onto my new PC, Windows 8.1 single language.
My serial number is not accepted.
Error message: 'Incorrect serial number, The serial number you entered is not valid. Click OK to retry serial number'.
Customer help care is not helpful and keep ending my chat before I get a solution.

I reviewed the chat log and I can confirm that they are correct we do not provide installation support for Photoshop Elements 7 due to the age of the software title. Photoshop Elements 7 also does not support activation so there is no risk that you were unable to deactivate the software on your previous computer.
I am showing the serial number under your account was provided from an equipment manufacturer. It is possible there may have been a customized installer for that version. Have you contacted the computer manufacturer to obtain the installation files for the copy of Photoshop Elements 7 included with your computer?
Since you did not migrate/transfer over any files it is unlikely there is a software issue preventing the installation. You can try running the CC Cleaner Tool to ensure that no corrupt licensing files may be preventing the installation process. Error msg " The serial no you entered is valid,but a qualifying product cannot be found on this computer" appears. Can't reinstall CS5.5 onto Macbook pro after Hard disc crashed & was changed.
It is not clear if you understand what that message is indicating. It is telling you that you need to identify the older version of whatever CS5.5 upgrade you are installing to prove that you qualify for the upgrade. This could be CS5, CS4, etc.

What to do with Error message "The serial number you entered is not valid"
After updating my Windows I tried to reinstall Indesign CS3 and Indesign CS4 upgrade after that. CS3 installed just fine but the system doesn`t accept my serial number from the back of the Upgrade box or the sonfirmation e-mail I received from Adobe upon purchase. What can be done?

Activation of Acrobat Pro XI error with valid serial number?
During activation of my Acrobat Pro XI the error message appears:
"Serial number you provided is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found on this computer"
When I scroll "Product" pop-up menu, there is not Acrobat XI Pro...You have purchased (or received) an upgrade. You must now prove you own Acrobat 9 or Acrobat X, by giving the serial number of your older (qualifying) product.

I am able to imessage from my ipad all phone numbers in contacts but one. With it I get an error message that says "number is not registered with imessage". However, I am able to imessage that number from my iphone. Any suggestion?

If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:

While upgrading Adobe Creative Suite CS4 ME into Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5 Design Premium, I get an error saying This serial number is not of a qualifying product, please try another. I used to be able to get a code from customer service but I can't get to the chat. Please advise!!!!
MoeGhazal I reviewed your account and it looks like you have have upgraded from a CS4 volume license for Design Premium to a retail upgrade of Design Premium 5.5.
I also show that you made two purchases of CS5.5 Design Premium but the second purchase was canceled. Please make sure you are utilizing the serial number which ends in 7886.
If you are using the correct serial number then it is likely the installer will not recognize your volume license CS4 serial number as being valid for an upgrade. If you can contact our support team then you can be walked through an unlocking procedure to allow you to proceed with the installation. You can contact our support team directly at Contact Customer Care. You may want to try installing a web browser you have not previously utilized. It is likely a toolbar or some other software application is affecting your ability to access chat support successfully.

Acrobat 9 Pro reinstallation gives message "Invalid Serial Number".
I just successfully deactivated a copy of Acrobat 9 Pro, insuring twice that I had accurately recorded the serial number. Now, when I attempt to install it on another computer, I get the message "Invalid Serial Number. This is not a valid serial number. Please go back and re-enter your serial number." This is going on a new computer for a staff member who needs the functionality of Pro so it is a big deal.

Short version – it stated with 9707 – however the ORIGINAL SN did start with 1118 and now mysteriously works.
Long Version – About 2 years ago, one of our attorneys left the firm. We had purchased and installed 9 Pro on his PC while he was here and deactivated it on his computer when he left. However, when we went to install it on another PC, we kept getting an invalid serial number message for the original number beginning with 1118.
Adobe tech support at that time gave us a number beginning with 9707 and it worked. The computer it was installed on at that time is circa 2004 and is being taken out of service. However, with 9 Pro still being a product that meets our business needs, we saw no reason to dispose of it and deactivated it. When we went to install it on a new computer, we got the invalid serial number message on the 9707 serial number.
Yesterday, I dug the original cd case out of a box and entered the original serial number beginning with 1118 and this time it worked. I know it was the correct box (out of our 20+ licenced copies of Acrobat) because it still had my notes from my tech support call including the 9707 serial number.
Bottom line is that this issue appears to be solved now (he says with all 14 of his fingers crossed).

I have a vbscript which does some database query. i see from the log that script quits with the below error.

but when i execute the same query directly on database, it gives me correct result. also i see that not all the time script quits with this error.
Does anyone have idea how to troubleshoot it?

If you purchased it from Adobe, it is registered and that would prove ownership as well as the emaill they sent with the serial number.

Click on the triangle next to your product and you will see the serial number assigned to you.
You have a valid record and proof of ownership. Try again.
