Error Message- you cannot post write up

HII friends
I have an issue that our client have posted unplanned depreciation to one asset which is wrong on 31/3/07. now they want to write up the same on the same date. but system is not allowing the same date it is giving error
YOU CANNOT POST WRITE UP.
Message details:
None of the areas to be posted in accordance with the transaction type entered manages one of the depreciation types entered or cumulative values
Please help its very urgent///

we are getting this error message while posting the write up for a asset which has Accumulated depreciation for the pervious year as well as normal planned depreciation in the current year.

Diagnosis
According to the transaction type, you have to post to area 01. However, in this area, there is either no accumulated depreciation or the write-up depreciation type(s) are not managed in this area.
Procedure
Check the transaction type.
who can i post the write up for the assets with out this error??? is this error should be interpreted as, due to no accumulated depreciation or write up depreciation is not in the particular asset for current year or previous year???

Hi,
Write-ups are used for correction of depreciation values calculated in
the past (closed fiscal years). It is not possible to post write-ups to
assets that have been acquired within the current year. If you attempt
this, you will receive error AA402. Please review the R/3 Library
documentation for further information. The documentation describes the
procedure for write-ups as well as the two situations where write-ups
can be used.
A write-up is generally understood to be a later change to the valuation
of an asset. This change can take different forms, depending on the
reasons for the change. A write up can only be posted, if there are
accumulated values on an asset, it means the posting of a write up
corrects the depreciation from the past.
For example - The value adjustments (depreciation) that you calculated
in the past were too high. You must now correct this error using a
write-up in the current fiscal year. You can only post a write up, if an
asset has accumulated values.
But again the write-up functionality is designed to change prior year
asset not current year acquired ones.
If manual changes are necessary it may be possible for you to use
transactions ABMA - Manual depreciation or ABAA - Unplanned depreciation
to correct the depreciation amount.
Open the new fisical year and do the write-up from the previous fisical year

Use Tony's suggestion. I am running it right now and it is awesome. I love Mozilla but they basically screwed all of those older Macs over. Come on Mozilla. These Macs still work, and there are plenty of people with them out there.

Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac. There is a third party version of Firefox 4 that runs on OS X 10.4/10.5 and PPC Macs, for details see http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox

I am trying to update Insatll base records in csi_item_instance table( like updating system_id value) by calling API csi_item_instance_pub.update_item_instance. I am getting error message " You cannot Update an Expired Instance. Instance needs to be un-expired before any updates". But actually instance is not expired and active_end_date field is null and instance_status_id=3(Latest).I am getting this error message for only some records.but for these records also x_return_status = S.
Please suggest what could be the reason.

Thank you! My solution was different. I had turned off services in MSCONFIG and did not turn them back on. After I turned services back on, Acrobat started working again without the nag error and impedance to use the program. I appreciate your input! Adobe customer service/tech support was dismally disappointing.

I gone through some cisco document saying that Join across line/Direct transfer across policy option status should be set to OFF. But i dont find option in 9971 series phone.

That's because the JAL function is inherent to the 8961/9951/9971 phone and cannot be disabled. You'll need to upgrade to a release that supports this phone model or use a different phone.

IBook Store error message "you cannot update this item"

When my book was finally in the iBookstore, I purchased it, to see how the process works and if everything is ok for a potential customer. Turned out that I mad some minor mistakes, which I fixed (hopefully) and published an new Version (successfully, I guess). Now I need to update the purchased book to cheeck if everything is ok.
There IS an Update in the iBookstore, but trying to run the update ends up in an error message "you cannot update this item".
My fault? Not my fault? What to do?
Has anyone an idea?

I created a PDF form in Acrobat Pro X and i am trying to distribute it by placing it on our shared drive so employees can take it from there and save it to their own computer.
I tested the form with some employees that have Reader. Some can open it, save it, fill it in and submit it and others get this message when opening it:
You cannot save a completed copy of this form to your computer. If you would like a copy for your records please fill it in and print it.
I read some discussions that said to convert it to a binder, that didnt work either. i tried going to the advanced tab and extending the features to reader...nothing works.
Please help.

Since I updated to Firefox 8 on Mac OSX 10.4.11, Firefox will not open anymore (not even previous versions downloaded via Safari). I get the error message 'You cannot use Firefox with this version of Mac OSX' (translated from Dutch).

I have tried creating a new profile, problem remains the same.
None of the 3 accounts on this desktop can use Firefox anymore. This has never been a problem. Today (14.11.11) I updated Firefox to 8, and nothing anymore. Via Safari I downloaded Firefox 7 to reinstall, same error message.

You cannot run Photoshop CS on a new Intel-based Mac running OS X Mavericks. CS is far too old.
You'll have to buy Photoshop CS6 or Photoshop Elements 12. Or subscribe to CC.

Firefox 3.0- no problems uploading files to You Send It- now with 3.6 I get error message. Cannot upload files. Please fix this glitch.

I was really really happy with firefox 3.0. But 2 days ago I had to upgrade to 3.6.12 in order to use Constant Contact.. I am really really really upset. I tried to send an mp4 file using You Send It and I keep getting an error message. I tried to upload a file I sent 3 days ago using firefox 3.0 and it uploaded and sent with ease. Now I cannot send any files and I am really angry as I use You Send It for my clients. I will probably have to start using a different browser if you cannot fix this problem.

More than likely it is a problem that is easily fixed within that application, and not directly a Firefox issue.
