I am facing with one standard error message while trying to selects the print option and output type and saves the output the error appears.
Can any one please suggest me on this.

I have integrated SSRS with sharepoint foundation 2010, it was running fine but suddenly its starts giving me error as -

registry access is not allowed
I tried to reset encryption key and allowed all access to registry keys buts its giving same error .

From your description, there have two questions in the environment:
"Requested registry access is not allowed" while access SharePoint sites
and "The report server cannot decrypt the symmetric key that is used to access sensitive or encrypted data in a report server database" while viewing reports
For the first issue, the cause is the SharePoint web service account can't access some registry keys.
For the second issue, the cause is that the report database was restored from another server, and the encryption key was not restored correctly.
To fix the issue, please:

After Feb 2015 CU viewing list items results in error : requested registry access is not allowed

Hello All,
We recently (Monday) updated our farm to the feb 2015 CU. Since then we have been getting calls in from users that cannot access list items. They receive a correlation error. Looking at the logs the correlation error points to a critical
error: "Requested registry access is not allowed"
Doing some googling, others have seen this error but it is usually associated with managed accounts.
Has anyone else encountered this issue/error? Have you found a solution?

environment: SharePoint 2013 enterprise : 6 farm servers : OWA : project server : SQL 2012 always on backend

This would be the service account running the Web Application failing to access the registry key(s). What you should do is set up
Process Monitor to look at Registry keys, and look for ACCESS DENIED.
One thing you could just try out would be to run:
Initialize-SPResourceSecurity

Why do I get an error msg that reads "operation not allowed" whenever I try to Remove Attributes from my timeline?

On any given project, whenever I select everything in my timeline and try to remove all the attributes, I get an error message that reads "operation not allowed."
If I select a smaller chuck of files on my timeline and hit remove attributes, it works, but this isn't the case if I select everything in my timeline.
How do I fix this? Thanks!

Have you tried trashing your Final Cut Pro preferences? It is usually the first step when FCP begins to act in unexpected ways.
Download Preference Manager (free) from Digital Rebellion

and use it to trash your preferences - they will be set to default the next time you open FCP.
If that does not remedy the problem, do you have any still images in your timeline that are not RGB, or are greater than 4000 pixels in the widest dimension?
Is your source material in an FCP7 edit friendly codec?

When I attempt to use any thing in Adobe on line I get a message that says "Adobe Reader not allowed". What's that mean?

Sounds like you have software running on your system that prevents you from running Reader. Are yo using your own computer or a computer owned by an company? What OS are you running? What version of Reader?

Fiscal Year Not allowed while creating the Process order (COR1)

Hi Friends,
My Indian client is following the Fiscal year of 2011 for the period of April 2010 to March 2011). We have gone live one month before. But now the problem we are facing is while creating the process order (T.Code COR1) system gives the error message "Fiscal year 2010 is not allowed".
The Diagnosis shows as below
Fiscal year 2010 is not allowed
Message no. F5568
Diagnosis
The fiscal year entered (2010) is different from the fiscal year derived from the posting date and fiscal year variant (2011).
System Response
Error.
Procedure
Correct the fiscal year entered.
I have Checked the Controlling area version. Fiscal Year 2011 starts from 01.04.2010. This issue is only at the time of Process oder creation and not in other module like FI, MM, SD, PS, QM and PM. I have checked with V3 Variant also and there is no problem with that.
Can any one help me where the setting is missing or what whould be the probable reason for this issue.

Thank you for your reply. I have checked the MMPV and MMRV set up and that is fine with fiscal year 2011. We are also processed lot many Material receipts for the fiscal year 2011. I have checked with OB52 for finace it is opened for the entire year of 2011 from 2009 for all periods.
We are facing only when we try to create the process order. When we enter the starte date as 24.11.2010 the derived period shows as fiscal year 2011. But entered fiscal year shows as 2010. We are not entering any other dates in the process order.
Is there any other probablity the date is picking from any Production related set ups??
The costing version fiscal year 2011 starts from 01.04.2010. So no problem with Controlling area. I have Checked the Factory calendar. The calendar starts from 01.01.2010 to 31.12.2010 for the year 2010.
Is there any other possibility of the missing settings or problem in date control???

Password parameter not working while Installing the certificate hosted on a Web Application Server

We are trying to secure our SAP BI Mobile connection with certificates. According to the manual we are storing a password protected certificate on a network location.
On our ipad when I open the link: (according to manual: Administrator and Report Designer's Guide , chapter 4.14.2.1 Installing the x509 Certificate on Device)
SAPBI://action=downloadcert&certurl=<Download URL>&Password=abc123
It should open and install the certificate in the app without asking for the password. But thats not working. It does ask for the password. So I can access the certificate location and after entering the password it works. But I am giving the password parameter in the link so why is this not working?
The guide is a bit contradictory, and I quote:
"If you access the second link above: The application is launched and the certificate file is downloaded from the URL location (certurl).
The certificate is directly installed on the device."
But second quote:
"NOTE:
Since the password is already included in the URL, the application does ask the user for the password...."
My question: what is the use of this password parameter if you still have to enter it manually?
Does anybody know if this should work, and what I might be doing wrong?

Customizing Request not Prompting while saving the spro setting

Hi Everybody
I configured some settings in spro like PROUCT ALLOCATION, ATP Group etc.
While creating those objects customizing request was assigned to all my configuration settings in spro.
Recently i unlocked the request in se03 and deleted the Customizing request because it was not in the sequence.
Now when i go to the same transaction and save the object it is not prompting me new customizing request.
When i change existing settings then system is prompting the Custoizing request.
I would like to reassign custoizing request for all my objects which were created earliar.
Please help.

Generally in SAP If u have changed any object whether it is customize or Workbench object once it is saved in one request and if u have deleted the same form request and if u r trying to change the same objects then the system will automatically save into the same request.
IF the old request is released then system will ask new request.Please check the old request ...

Adobe Customization Wizard XI: setup.ini was not found (while saving the MSI)

I have downloaded the Adobe Customization Wizard XI and the Adobe Reader XI .msi file. I am only attempting the customize three options of this application. When I try to save the .msi file I get an error "setup.ini was not found".
I have placed the .msi file in a folder on the desktop. Additionally, I have tried using 7-Zip to extract the .msi in an effort to find the setup.ini file.
Where is this file located? What is the solution?
Any help is much appreciated.

Just install Adobe Reader on a machine. Then you will get the flat files in a folder location that has the Setup.ini file. It will be something like this depending on your OS:
Windows 7 64-bit Example Location
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Setup\{AC76BA86-7AD7-1033-7B44-AB0000000001}\

Error at connect :Requested registry access is not allowed

I have a Windows service running as a domain admin connecting with Client 10.2.0.100.
My connection string look as follows :
user id=xxx;data source=xxx;password=xxx;Statement Cache Size=30;Min Pool size=0
This error (Requested registry access is not allowed) only occurs sometimes.
Maybe after the service has been idle for a while???

Problem was caused by corrupted user profile. Removing current profile and reinstalling SCORCH solved.

Hi, a ihave a problem with built-in internet browser in N80.
I need access some routers and access point by web interface, and one or other use blank username (only password is entered) to access it.
But login popup from N80 web browser doesn't allow to enter just password (OK button get unavailable).
Any idea to solve this ?

My Problem I am defining one serialized item and then try to create GRPO for that item it gives the Error "(OITM) Blank strings are not allowed in row(in unique field).
But the GRPO was created non serialized items. I Checked all the UDF and also i entered all the Values in the GRPO Screens.
I can't able to find out the error. Can you pls give some idea abt this.

Requested registry access is not allowed when opening Infopath Forms on Sharepoint 2013

Hello Technet Community.
I hope this will help anybody out there that experienced this problem after patching Sharepoint 2013.
I have a distributed 3-tier Sharepoint 2013 environment. All of a sudden, after the last round of patched released on 7-Jul-2014, opening Infopath forms would throw a "something went wrong" error.
Looking at the ULS logs, you would see the error "Requested registry access is not allowed.".
I have looked at tons of posts on different blogs, and all pointed out that you need to grant "read" permissions to the application pool user (in my case a service account in AD) to the registry key (and subkeys):
HLKM/Software/Office Server/15.0
That indeed works, but it is not the proper way to do it. You should grant "read" permissions to this local group:
WSS_WPG
And special permissions to this local group:
WSS_ADMIN_WPG
Here is a snapshot of the special permissions needed
By the way, the WSS_PWG local group contains the app pool service account.
I do not know why patching Sharepoint removed these permissions from the registry keys, but oh well...
Anyway, Sharepoint is now happy and Infopath forms work as expected.

Open Registry Editor (Start > Run, type regedit)
Open key: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office Server\14.0(got from Process Monitor from step 1)
Assign the SharePoint Timer Service account the Read permission to this key
One can open registry using regedit command. In Registery editor go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\15\Secure\FarmAdmin
Check central administration app pool Identity have permission on FarmAdmin. Permission can be check on right clicking FarmAdmin --> Permissions.

Error : RFC Partner does not allow to start the Program.

     I have a requirement where in BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHECKOUTVIEW2 need to be called from the front end (JAVA).
     When i run this BAPI in SAP it works fine ,when i run the same form front end it throws the error saying
          "RFC Partner does not allow to start the Program."( I have checked the error in debug mode).
         SAPGUI is installed at the JAVA developers desktop,still am facing this error.
        The error is thrown at the below code:
                  CALL FUNCTION 'RFC_PING'
                                                DESTINATION 'SAPGUI'
                 EXCEPTIONS: communication_failure = 1 MESSAGE lf_msg_text
                                              system_failure        = 2 MESSAGE lf_msg_text.

You need a RFC path in this case.You can check SM59 and contact your basis team regarding this.

If you don not have any process running on your pc that uses your database like Enterprise Manager or any other third party application, use
SqlConnection.ClearAllPools();
in C# code before restoring. Like the following code:

Hi, there is no need for a customer devlopment on this. A standard smartform output will do with output medium '5' (external send). Then the smartform output will be send as PDF to the e-mail address in the output partner. Have a look at transaction NACE.
