Error msg HTTP 501 or 400

HTTP Server
I developed a multithreaded web server on Java capable of responding to HTTP 200,404,400 & 501.
I connect to server on port 6897 from IE browser - http://localhost/index.html
its tested successfully for responses-HTTP 200 and HTTP 404.
what do i type on the browser instead of http://localhost/index.html so that i get an error msg HTTP 501 or 400?
Cheers
Leo

  • HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request error in receiver REST channel

    Hi Experts
I am currently working on an interface in which we have created a REST communication channel on the receiver side.
The below error comes up in the PI when we try to perform the GET operation on the URLs given below:
Error Message: HTTP error occurred: HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request
    URLs -
    i) https://<myHost>:<myPort>/businesses/search?Keyword=Viridor&ResultsPerPage=10
    ii) https://<myHost>:<myPort>/businesses/ec92a1e9-cef0-48aa-8800-a2e500ce8b1c/sites?Keyword=Viridor&ResultsPerPage=10
When we use SOAP UI to perform the above test, it works perfectly fine and fetches the required response from the target REST server.
Also, when we use the URL - https://<myHost>:<myPort>/businesses in the receiver communication channel in PI, it works fine and retrieves the
values of all the businesses present on the target server, however on making URL more specific - like the two URLs above, it does not work
and gives the bad request message.
Please can you let me know what could be the issue.
    Thanks,
    Maheswarareddy

    Hi All,
Issue resolved:) ...that due to When calling a URL in the REST Receiver Channel, all GET variables are ignored
so we had to upgrade SP10 patch level 5 and all services are working as we expected.
    Also pls check Note :2114322
    Thanks,

  • HTTP client code 400 reason ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED

    Hi
when using an https receiver adapter in PI 7.11 I get the error message
"HTTP client code 400 reason ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED".
The server I am trying to connect to is running and I have activated all services under sap -> xi in SICF.
    The ICM log shows this:
WARNING => Connection request from (38/18489/0) to host: https, service: 80 failed (NIEHOST_UNKNOWN)
    AP-T38, U18489, 001 ALE_K01, , 15:45:37, M0, W9,     , 1/0 [icxxconn.c 2222]
On the PI Integration Server the outbound queue (smq1) is empty.
However, the message seems to be sitting in the inbound tRFC queue (smq2)
    Function Module:  SXMS_ASYNC_EXEC
    Queue Name:  XBTO6___0002
    Status Text:  Transaction Recorded
I also get the error message in the inbound tRFC queue:
    "XI Error ATTRIBUTE_CLIENT.PLAINHTTP_ADAPTER: Queue"
It does not help to chose "save LUW" on the erroneous message in the queue.
In the http receiver adapter I entered these values:
    Addressing Type: URL Address
    Target Host: https://biztalk.lm-gruppen.dk
    Service Number: 443
    Path: /******/BTSHTTPReceive.dll
What should I do to make it work?
    Mikael

    Hi,
In the http receiver adapter I entered these values:
    Addressing Type: URL Address
    Target Host: https://biztalk.lm-gruppen.dk
    Service Number: 443
    Path: /******/BTSHTTPReceive.dll
If you want to enable HTTPs, you should use HTTP to RFC destination using SM59 (for the RFC destination) and STRUST (for the SSL authentication). Also, do not specify the http:// or https:// parameter in your target host. The correct parameters should be:
    Target Host: biztalk.lm-gruppen.dk
    Service Number: 443
    Path: /******/BTSHTTPReceive.dll
    hope this helps,

  • I oocasionally get an error msg "The connection was interrupted" with some reasons. Usually a reload works but sometimes I need to change the https to http to get the load.

The error msg states the site may be tempo unavailable or that I have a network problem; even trying to open a new tab will give me the same error. When I attempt to load my own website I get the "unsafe site" msg but switching to http from https allows my site to load. I can open a tab in Firefox ten times without a problem and then I'll get "The connection was interrupted" msg. I did a complete delete and reload of Firefox but the issue remains.

    see if this is helpful:

  • Getting HTTP 501 / HTTP 505 error when replying to a thread

    Hi,
When replying to a thread I get the following error:
HTTP 501 Nicht implementiert oder HTTP 505 Version nicht unterstützt (HTTP 501 not implemented or HTTP 505 version not supported).
What does it mean? Is there a problem with the forum?
    Regards,
    Ulrich

    Hi,
The text I want to post contains a HTML/Javascript code example. I think that causes the problem. If I post without the code example it works.
URL of the concerned thread is Integrate WAD 7.0 Template into BPS Web Interface
Can it be a general issue with the forums software?
Is there a way to contact a forum admin to report this issue?
    Regards,

  • Error :CIM_ERR_FAILED:HTTP response code:501 Not Implemented_Unsupporte

    Hello gurus
iam facing the below error when trying to do the initial Setup on PI 7.1 running on Windows 64bit,Oracle
    Error :CIM_ERR_FAILED:HTTP response code:501 Not Implemented_Unsupported-protocol version
i have checked the following notes 1115280,939592,764176,1309239 but cant find a solution to this.i have tried to add the  Businness systems manually and re excute the steps but no luck.
    any ideas are welcome

Thanks for your response .I updated the CR content up to the latest but the problem still existed.
I did a work around althought that was not part of the landscape.I reexecuted the post installation on to the local sld it works without a problem.
There are notes that  states that you can use a remote sld  but tried all that  but still doesn`t work so  reinstalled the PI system several times on different boxes thinking that maybe a patch somewhere is causing the problem.
I sent an OSS to SAP and they provided a link to help of which its just the same info that is in the notes. So then they came back later and said that i should reboot the server.......
but  its now working as a local SLD not REMOTE (my sld on Solution manager not PI)

  • Xmlspy Error submitting HTTP Request 400

    Hi All,
Whe I try to open any XML file with XMLspy, for example  BizPackageMETA.xml, I get the an error :
Sorry, but the file "http://localhost:8080/B1iXcellerator/exec/dummy//sim.com.sap.b1i.datasync.001/bp.Z.PRIELL/BizPackageMETA.xml" could not be opend!
Error Submitting HTTP request for "http://localhost:8080/B1iXcellerator/exec/dummy//sim.com.sap.b1i.datasync.001/bp.Z.PRIELL/BizPackageMETA.xml":400
I had enabled WebDav in xcellerator.cfg. Anything else I am missing ?

    Hi Hany,
I already had opened service calls at Altova and SAP regarding this issue. It is related to a small bug in B1i when responding to a PROPFIND request with an url path with trailing slash.
This bug should be fixed in the next B1i Patch.
Meanwhile you can use the following workarounds:
In older versions of XMLSpy you could just enter the path without trailing slash:
    http://localhost:8080/B1iXcellerator/exec/dummy
Since the newer Version of XMLSpy automatically adds the trailing slash (which is the proper behaviour of a WebDAV client), you have to eleminate the additional slash in the resulting url path:
    http://localhost:8080/B1iXcellerator/exec/dummy//sim.com.sap.b1i.datasync.001/bp.Z.PRIELL/BizPackageMETA.xml
    =>
    http://localhost:8080/B1iXcellerator/exec/dummy/sim.com.sap.b1i.datasync.001/bp.Z.PRIELL/BizPackageMETA.xml
The other way is to create a project with the external webfolder. Unfortunately XMLSpy adds the trailing slash also here. So you have to edit the created project file (.spp) afterwards to delete the trainling slash. Then it should look like this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <Project>
         <ExtMountFolder FolderName="http://localhost:8080/B1iXcellerator/exec/dummy"/>
    </Project>
    Kind regards,
    Marcus

  • Channel.Connect.Failed (http 501) error when trying to connect to a remote php gateway

    hey all
this is my first app to access remote data, and i am trying to build both clieant and server side
i am working on a flashbuilder 4.6 and php simple system.
I use the php data wizard to build my php code/services and develop locally on a wamp server, configuring the local mysql db with phpmyadmin. the wizard itself enables the zend framework needed
    locally, all looks fine
i am trying out deployment to my real, linux based remote server, and for the first step I uploaded my php services to the remote server
i used this guide by Mihai Corlan and when testing my app i get an Alert with
    Send failed
    Channel.Connect.Failed error NetConnection.Call.Failed: HTTP: Status 501: url: 'http://(my domain + file structure to..)gateway.php'
so i guess even before i get to see if i changed the amf_config.ini and gateway.php itself and the services properly for deployment i am unable to connect to the gateway, correct?
http 501 is something about html headers? i dont know any html, any php, any sql just as3 and mxml
    can anyone help?

I do get "Zend Amf Endpoint" - as well - the app works perfectly when testing on my desktop as iphone4 simulation and on android, just not on my 4s device.
as a side note, i can even browse to the gateway.php that I have set up via safari on the device. That makes me think that theres just some dumb http entitlement or "allow" setting for ios that I'm not finding.

  • Error msg: your sys doesn't have required screen resolution

Just downloaded & installed Presenter 9 trial version on my Win 7 system. My screen resolution only has two available settings, and neither one matches the precise resolution setting that the error msg says my system needs. What do I do?

It is due to the cable that you are using. For DVI, there are 2 main type of cables in the market, DVI-D Single Link & DVI-D Dual Link.
    Extract from Wikipedia
If you are using a DVI-D Single Link cable, the max resolution natively is 3,840 × 2,400 @ 17 Hz, which is unusable under normal usage. The next best max resolution is 1440 × 900 @ 60 Hz which is usable under normal usage.
However, if you are using DVI-D Dual Link cable (not referring to Dual Monitor support here), the max resolution natively is 3,840 × 2,400 @ 33 Hz with GTF blanking, which is also unusable under normal usage. The next best max resolution is 2,560 × 1,600 @ 60 Hz with CVT-RB blanking, which is usable under normal usage.

Can anyone share with me his experience about ld.so.1?? What is it and why does it cause my apps server to reboot?

It looks like you might simply have run out of memory. It just looks like the JRE tried to adjust its memory map and run out space. When mprotect fails the problem probably isn't with the .so itself.
What are the memory characteristics of your machine? Including the heap and stack space that you allocate for your JVM, as well as the actual physical and swap space available on the server.

  • Received the following Error Msg: Platform Version '6.0' is not compatible with minVersion =6.01, maxVersion =6.01

When I brought up my machine this afternoon, it started to download 6.0.1 and then I received an error msg from ZoneAlarm requesting that I upload an error file. This occurred several times, and then I uninstalled the Firefox files and again downloaded 6.0.1. At this point I then received the Version 6.0/6.0.1 error msg.

If you use ZoneAlarm Extreme then you may have to disable that during the installation to prevent ZA from blocking access to some files in the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
    * Firefox 6.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
    * Uninstall your current Firefox version.
    * Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
    * It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

  • "Unable to Access" error msg for BI Publisher Report

    Hello All,
I am getting the following error when trying to access a BI Publisher report from the dashbaord. We can access the folders that come with BI Publisher examples, ie Executives, Financials, HR Manager but not the "GTR" that we have created.
Privelleges are the same. The folders have the same rights too.
This is for OBIEE 10.1.3.4 with BI Publisher of the same version, running on a solaris box.
    Any thoughts.
