Error Msg "Invalid Com Object Exception is output"

Hi,
The following error message was output when I tried to perform an
optimization on the Finance Application.
"An unhandled exception has occurred in your application....COM object
that has been separated from its underlying RCW cannot be used".
However, when my colleague perform the same optimization using her PC, it was ok. Please advise if there are any specific settings that are I need to set at the client or desktop level in order to avoid the error.

My notebook is on Windows XP and Office 2007. As per your suggestion, I have run the client diagnostic program and found the following error:

Proxy server
    No proxy setting
Use HTTP 1.1
    Required: True

    Status: OK
Enable Integrated Windows Authentication
    Required: False
    Currently: True
    Status: Error
Would you be able to advise how I can disable the Integrated Windows Authentication so that I can see the problem is due to the above error.

The code they are asking for is the last three digits of the number on the back of the card (you don't use this when using an ATM or presenting the card in shops).

Method not found error when creating COM object

i am trying to initiate a COM object with CF and Imagemagick
on windows 2003. when i initiate the object i get the error "The
selected method convert was not found." if i do a dump of the
method in the COM object but i cant call it. what am i missing?
the code i am using is attached.
the VBscipt sample that comes with imagemagick works fine,
its just that CF cant all it. any ideas?

HT1923 What to do with error msg INVALID SIGNATURE

Trying to update ITunes on both my Windows Vista and my Apple Mac G4 10.6.
Been getting the msg INVALID SIGNATURE and then the downloads stop.
Just got my new IPhone 5 today, and I can't transfere my library, photos or apps.
What can be done to resolve the issue ? Please advise.

That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

Error Msg -A Low-level exception occurred in: Adobe Player

I have CS6 installed, all the latest patches, etc. It's been working fine for months.In the last week Pr is unable to playback all of my footage (Native 5D mark III h.246 and Canon xf305 footage). Whether it is on the timeline or in the source panel.
The Error message i get it this: A Low-level exception occurred in: Adobe Player (player).
Using Adobe CS 6.0.3
Windows 64 Bit 8 GBs RAM
Happens in new projects and old.
New timelines also affected, it appears.
Was not happening as recently as two days ago.
No changes made to the computer.
Only changes is that I have combined timeines (Imported) from one project to another.
Video shows yellow or Green.
I have rerendered the footage to show all green on timeline.
Only way around it is to reboot the computer, it comes back after a while. The problematic timelines work fine for a while, then this starts happening.
I deleted the media cache database folder after exiting Pr.
Didn't seem to change anything. I just got the error again. Things seem to be curiously messed up. I tried to render a sequence out to MXF. The headless crashed each time, (not totally unusual, but it couldn't complete even once). I also got an error message when I bypassed the Media Encoder and just went strait to rendering it out within Pro. It managed to continue to render it to MXF but when I got done and imported it into Pro, it didn't play the clip when I clicked on it.
The interesting thing to me is that to totally clear Adobe from RAM, I have to go into Task Manager and kill the process after exiting the program (in lieu of rebooting). So it's not closing properly, it appears. Once I kill the process and reopen the app, I can then play the sequence, for a while. It's very curious. Task manager also shows lots of RAM open, no memory leaks at work, nothing unusual. It appears, to be just choking on footage, sort of like it can't quite process the audio (like when you bring in new footage and it has to process that audio). What's happening is like it sees the audio at first when I bring it in at startup of the app, then loses it. If I exit without killing the Premiere process (or shutting down the machine), then it still exhibets the behavior on startup again.
So this project is large, for me. It is showing as 34 MBs. I have a wide variety of clips at play here, but only MXF Canon from the xf305 and MOV from the Canon 5D. The MXF are the default sequence(s) unless I shot nothing but MOV.
I have tried rendering the visualization, all green lines on top but that doesn't seem to fully help. It does play the footage for a while.
There are no special effects added, yet.
Is it worth re-installing Premiere? This has cost me the better part of a day screwing around with this.
Let me detail this again:

All project files are on F which is a RAID 1 array. It appears to be functioning normally. 800 GBs free space on 2TBs.
All Renders are taking out to an external drive like I always do. Lot s of space available there too.

I was trying to execute a PSA deletion step on one Datasource. In that process I got the below error.
Error msg: Invalid DataStore object name /BIC/B0005712: Reason: No valid entry in table RSTS.
Do, I need to maintain anything related to this Datasource in the table RSTS. if so....what it could be ?
Or Do we have any other solution ?

In my case,
Inspite of going through several valid NOTES & program, my issue didnt resolve.
I have resolved the issue by adjusting the PSA table for the same.
Procedure:
Take the psa name --> go to table rstsods --> find the ODSNAME_TECH name for the relevant psa --> se38 t.code --> enter ODSNAME_TECH and click on 'adjust & activate database table' (make sure you have selected 'save data' radio button.
Just in case anyone who come across this problem, can do the above steps.

Invalid DataStore object name error when running process chain after EHP1

Hello,
We recently upgraded our BW Dev platform to NW7.01 EHP1 SP6. I noticed that the layout for "Delete PSA Request" process in the Process Chain has changed after the upgrade. We can no longer specify the actual PSA table to delete eg, /BIC/B0001645. Instead we need to specify the Datasource name and the Source System.
Now after the upgrade when I run one of my process chains, it fails at "Delete PSA Request" step with error message "Invalid DataStore object name /BIC/B0001645: Reason: No valid entry in table RSTS". This datasource is based on the flat file source system and the PSA table for this Datasource is /BIC/B0001653.
Unfortunately the process chain is picking up an older PSA table for this datasource and there is no way for me to specify the current PSA table name after this change in layout with EHP1 upgrade. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue.

If this does not help try the below steps:
1. Run the report 'RSAR_PSA_CLEANUP_DIRECTORY/_MS' in check mode for a
       particular PSA table for finding the inconsistencies.
2.   After that please analyze the logs and if there is any problems related to partition, you need to correct them using the report u2013
3. 'SAP_PSA_PARTNO_CORRECT' in repair mode for the
      PSA tables. Run the report again after this
4. 'RSR_PSA_CLEANUP_DIRECTORY/_MS' in check mode to
     double check that the invalid partitions are
     corrected.
     Once this is done you can execute the report
     'RSR_PSA_CLEANUP_DIRECTORY/_MS' in repair mode.

This happens when I start generating mobile sales.
Does anybody know what this could be ?
I've installed the latest generation hotfixes, and now this error appears.

Invalid tincan object name

I am trying to stream video from a Flash Media Server using
AS3. I am getting an error that I cannot figure out. In my
NetStatusEventHandler I am getting event code
"NetStream.Play.Failed". The error is: "Invalid tincan object name
(stream ID: 1)" This means absolutely nothing to me and I have been
unable to find any documentation on the meaning of this error.
ISSUE RESOLVED: I was including the filename in the
netconnection.connect method's URI

as I was unsure where this question best fit.

Glad that you figured it out. Here are a couple of things
that could help in the future. It would have helped if you had
posted the code you were using. Somebody would probably have seen
something like that right off.
The other thing is that it is helpful if you don't edit

Java and COM Object out parameters

I have a COM object written in C++ that can't be modified. It has several methods with output parameters.
Can java create an instance of the COM object and pass a reference to a Variant in this case or any objects to be filled by the COM object? My output parameter keeps coming back null, but I know that the COM object is working.

You didn't say anything about how you are bridging java <-> COM.
If it's via JNI, one way you could deal with this is to write a "wrapper" dll that can speak COM, but which can turn the output data into something more palatable to java - say an object that the wrapper can return.

Getting General invalidation message processing exception ...

We have installed Oracle Portal 10.1.2 on the Oracle MR 10.1.2. Both are on the same machine. Initially when started creating pages and page groups, I did not get any problem. But we wanted to call a BPEL process from the portal. So, we installed BPEL on the Portal middle tier. Then I started getting the following error:
General invalidation message processing exception: User-Defined Exception (WWC-40018)
General invalidation message processing exception: Error invalidating content, Non-200 status code returned by Web Cache. Status: 401 Unauthorized (WWC-40018)
This is happening when I try to add a new tab or add potlet etc.
Can any body throw light on this?

After looking into config files and following some of the procedures that may solve this problem, we could not get the problem solved. But when looking at the portal web cache settings, we came to know that the Invalidation Username should be Administrator instead of Invalidator.
After changing Invalidation Username, everything seemed working fine.

BPC MS 7.0 Error: An unhandled exception has occured: COM object

Hi all,
While doing any BPC Administration task such as processing dimensions from clinet, I get this error in a dialog box:
"An unhandled exception has occured in your application. COM Object that has been separated from its uderlying RCW can not be used"
Application exits after this error. I am getting this error for last few days. I am using Office 2003.

Just to be on the sefe side, I would advise removing the admin client and then re-installing it. You may have had an update occur that has impacted the client and its abilities. This would be my 1st step to evaluate the issue.
Do you get this issue for all actions in the admin client? The other option, if this is only related to the processing of dimensions, is to enter the MSAS on the server and process the dimensions and applications. Then return to the client and try the admin operations again, in case something is out of synch.

I want to read InDesign(.indd) file in c#. I have installed adobe InDesignCS6.
I have added COM reference of 'Adobe InDesign CS6 Type Library' in my c# application.
Code snippet is as follows.

This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{ABD4CBB2-0CFE-11D1-801D-0060B03C02E4}' failed due to the following error: No such interface supported (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80004002 (E_NOINTERFACE)).
Kindly help me. Its urgent.
