Error msg saying unknown error PLEASE HELP
Hi my iphone 4 died over night so i woke up this morning and put it on charge through a wall charger a few hours passed and i have got back and the little white bars are still circling so i pluged it into the computer and its still doing the same thing and a msg comes up saying itunes could not detect device unknown error OxE8000065. Please help i have very inportant phone calls this morning

try launching your QuickTime. does it:
(a) launch perfectly fine?
(b) fail to launch with an error message? (if so, what does it say?)
(c) exhibit other peculiar behavior? (if so, could you describe it for us?) -
I'm trying to update my apps and purchase a movie from itunes and it keeps saying "an unknown error has occurred." How do I fix this?
Trying to do both at the same time? Try updating the apps first. Maybe one at a time. Then try buying the movie.
First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -
Before this it randomly said "your Phone can no longer send or recieve messages. Please restore to reactivate." Then, instead of restoring it, I restarted it. When I turned it back on it said "activation required." So then I tried to restore it and at the last step "restoring firmware" it freezes and gives me the error code (-1)! After this, it started randomly turning off and plus I couldn't use it at all! I put it in restore mode to try and restore it again and I got the same error message. I tried this on a windows 7 and a macbook with an updated iTunes and got the same error code. I tried it with 2 different sync cords too! What do I do!
Are you running modified software on your phone? This error seems to be common if the firmware has been modified and you're trying to restore the phone again.

Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

Got it! Thanx. What I did was go to my account, check that they had my new ID and Password which they did, then hit reset button. All fixed. -

Please help.... cannot get into the ITUNES account. It says unknown error has occured. Is there a problem with ITunes?
Same thing happened with my iPhone 4S - no one is any help. Thanks Apple for such a crappy update! I've called Apple, they say the SIM card needs replacing, I go to my service provider they tell me nothing wrong with the SIM card - provider tells me I now need a new phone. Sheesh! If someone has a solution to this it would be greatly appreciated.
