Error - No cost price was found, Code -10

Hi,
I am trying to create an A/R Invoice from the SBO UI. I am setting the values for DocNum, CardCode, DocDate, DocDueDate and ItemCode, Quantity, Price, TaxCode.
When i click on Add it shows an error message -
No cost price was found 'itemcode'.
Why should i get this error if i am setting the price information?

Hi Sheetal,
Check if you can add an invoice in SBO itself. It should give you the same error. Check on the item if you have a cost price assigned. If you're working on moving average or FIFO, maybe receive the item into stock at a cost first (using Goods Receipt PO or A/P Invoice) and then try again.

We are using EIS to have Drill Through reports.
When I select the particular intersection and click on Hyperion --> Adhoc Analysis--> Drill Through Reports,
Drill Through selection window is opening but when click on Launch/Execute.
It throwing below Error
"XML Load error: An invalid character was found in text content"
This error is showing only some intersections...some other intersections are working fine.
The same intersection if retrieve from ESSBASE --> Addins--> linked objects, Drill thru reports are showing fine.
From Excel Addins everythg working fine.
I tried in 2003 MS office from my colleague system. the same error.
"XML Load error: An invalid character was found in text content"
Please someone help me....!

This type of Issue does not happen using Excel Add-in but Smart View. We encountered it as well. I have a feeling the root cause is the ESSLANG which used to be selected during installation. If the Essbase has for instance "English Latin1" or "English US Ascii Binary" and the client does not have it, then this would occur.
We had old SR on it because we were testin the APS 7.1.6. SR 2-603906: Excel Essbase Add-in splitting special characters such as the " ü " in. Whe we reinstalled and selected same ESSLANG as Essbase server the isue stopped.
We did not have to chnage our code to scrub out ant special characters. !

Error : No framework program was found for include

Hi All,
A web UI enhancement worked perfectly fine in a development system. However, after transporting it to a quality system, it did not work as expected. All transports were error free and all the developed items could be seen in the quality system.
When trying to keep a breakpoint in the redefined method of a controller class, I get the error "No framework program was found for include <> "; where <> is the z implementation class that was created.
Any suggestions/ideas on how to resolve this error?

While Posting Invoice to a Sales BOM, It shows the Error: Row without Tax was found.
But it is not showing that Error in Manager Login.

Im using hyperion 11.1.2.1 with SmartView installed with Office 2007. A lot of forms are working fine on it but we have entered data recently on a number of them and we are unable to open them in SmartView either through the icon and menu options in workspace or through the smartview panel in excel 2007. The error we are getting is "XML Load Error: An invalid character was found in text content."

Have a look on Oracle Support - "SmartView XML Load Error: "An Invalid Character was Found in Text Content" [ID 968808.1]"

Error - Expense without tax was found

Hi All
When I am adding an A/R Invoice into the system, it throws out an error message "Expense without tax was found".
What could be causing this error?

Hello SV Reddy,
The reason you are getting this error message is just because of the
fact in the "Freight Charges"window (for defining the freight charges)
you have not selected the tax code, though you have ticked the check
box " Freight" in the "Sales Tax Code" window for that Tax code.
If this check box is ticked it means that tax will be calculated on
freight expenses/charges .This is the reason the system prompts you
the error message.
In this case this check box is ticked but this tax code has not been
selected in the freight charges window.

If your session is set to default date format of DD-MON-YY, execute the following and you will receive the error message:
SQL> select to_date('20-JAN-2010', 'DD-MM-YYYY') from dual;
ERROR:
ORA-01858: a non-numeric character was found where a numeric was expected

When you are converting a string to a date, you have specified that the date is being passed in DD-MM-YYYY format. But you have passed the date in DD-MON-YYYY format. As the month is expected as a number by oracle, but you have passed a character, oracle is unable to translate the string to a number.
Do one of the following:
SQL> select to_date('20-JAN-2010', 'DD-MON-YYYY') from dual
2 /
TO_DATE
20-JAN-2010
OR
SQL> select to_date('20-10-2010', 'DD-MM-YYYY') from dual
2 /
TO_DATE
20-JAN-2010
or you can use alter sessin set nls_date_format='.....................';

Hi ,
Requirement is to attach a pdf file from PC and mail it to a fax server.
i have used FM GUI_UPLOAD to extract the contents of the file.
i have used FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 to attach the contents and mail it to a fax server.
in my SAP OUTBOX , i can view the PDF faxed.
when i try to open the PDF, i can view the contents faxed .
for some PDF i get a information " An unrecognized token 'he6l' was found" and i just find blank pages.
please let me know how to solve this.

this is not got in proper manner described above because of sort on tax account code.
also i didn;t get tax type name.
i want to relate that tax account with tax account type.
please how i can relate it with other table column

Blu-ray Ojbect: slideshow raams, Error:"internal error 11" (file path not found), Code:11, Note ""

I have no idea what is going on. I have 8 slideshows in my Encore cs4 project. I delete the one it says is bad and redue. Then it goes to the next one and says this error. The file that is being imported that is said could not find file path is right were all the other files are. Any ideas?

       while modifying the internal table specify wich field you are modifying
modify <internal table > from <work area> transporting <fields>.

Reversal of Cost Price Update and Price Change MR21

Dear SAP experts
Recently (on 1st of this month) i did cost price update for all my FIG items. Later i realized that some of FG items cost price was not accurate. So i want to delete cost price of those items and update price by using T code MR 21
When i try to cancel these items cost price by using T code CKR1, i am getting error message that particular material current or future standard price is avialable and i am unable to move further
Please guide how to delete current cost price of these items and update cost price by using MR21. Please note these items does not have any BOM and basically are contract manufacturing items

When you use CKR1, it does not give error.. It just gives a warning message
Enter your Plant / Mat in CKr1 and select "Current cost estimate" or "Future Cost Estimate" as the case may be
If any warning comes, ignore it and press enter.... It should reverse the cost estimate
Now update from MR21 or preferably use CK11N again
Note: If at all it gives any error in CKR1, check in T code OPR4_CK if this msg can be converted into warning message

InsertPage RaiseError: An incorrect structure was found in the PDF file

Hi,
I am trying to build a button script that will create a new document, copy (insert) from the first page of the open document, save it, then close it. I believe the part where it gets tricky -- and possibly not doable -- is that the original (source) document uses a template; full of form fields to possibly be spawned off as new pages.
Given the above, ideally the user of the form can click on the "save new page" button: it creates anj Inserted copy of the first form page, cleared of content if any has been entered, and not including any other pages that may have been spawned.
With the code I am using, it currently creates the copy of the page and it inserts it as the zeroeth page (ahead of a blank page I intend to add code later to delete) and saves it. However, there are a couple of problems that come up with this. First is the error code that opens in the debugger:
RaiseError: An incorrect structure was found in the PDF file
Doc.insertPages:29:AcroForm:Save New Form:Annot1:MouseUp:Action1

Despite the error it does still save the page (form copy) as mentioned above. However, if you try to start working with it, it lets you know that there are no form fields on the document (even though they are all there and seemingly functional).   When I look to edit the fields, it will then ask you if you want to try to recognize the fields. If I click on "yes", it says it was unable to, but then the form opens up with all of the field names perfectly matching the original. If I click on "no" it just opens the page with all of the fields perfectly matching again. So I feel like I am close to being able to do this!

I also encountered this error, "An incorrect structure was found in the PDF file" from my published MadCap Flare user guide. I am attempting to find a way to build a bridge between Flare and Google documents for corporate-wide collaboration. Thus far, it's a crazy challenge finding a way to produce gdocs from Flare output. Neither product makes this easy. The closest I can get is by publishing the Flare doc as a PDF... but then I must break that document down into 2mb chucks...which led me to this problem, after attempting to use the Adobe Acrobat splitting tool.
Question:
What is the root cause of these bad tags. There are a LOT of them! Is this a fault in the way MadCap Flare creates a PDF document?
Yes, deleting some of the tags will allow me to finally split a PDF document. Unfortunately, this error occurs in all my published PDF documents, thus preventing me from automating (scripting) this split and then conversion to Google Docs!

I know it's something with the variable InpMaand and InpJaar who i use in mij select statement of the cursor c_sleutel. But don't know how to fix it. Searched on the forum but no good answer found. Tnx for helping in advanced. see code below:

I've fit in the to_date format. but now he say's not a valid month. What i do is the following.
InpMaand and InpJaar are both giving in by the user, like 2 and 2007
after the to_date function, this must be the result: 01-2-2007
otherwise: how to use the variable(InpMaand and InpJaar ) in the to_date function

I don't understand the question exactly, could you restate it. Sorry mate, I might just be braindead.
But, as far as the issue, it is by design. the column is a lookup columns which essentially ties to the external data. if that data is removed, the column on your simple list becomes invalid and any edits of the simple list item will require
it to be changed.
are you wanting to make the ECT read only? that's simple enough. you can pop open SPD and edit the ECT, then remove the C/E/D operations (create/update/delete). That will not, however make it read-only in any other systems that access that
external data, as I assume its not just SP or else it wouldn't be external
