Error: Please Try Again- When trying to upload content to iTunes U

Hello,
I am able to log into my site and access the upload and manage files web page just fine. When I upload a file I can see it in the Queue and it uploads till about 1MB of completion then I get "Error: Please Try Again"
Is anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions?

This is a major problem for us. Currently no one from WSU can upload any m4a or m4v files to any course from any machine. I personally have tried from several machines - Mac, Windows, even Macs which were never used to access the site ever before. Various versions of OS & iTunes ...
Interestingly, PDF files upload fine!

    Jeez. You'd think one of the bright boys at Apple would have figured out that hundreds of thousands of people upgrading their songs, all at once, would cause some traffic problems !!
    Duh.
    I had this situation once in the UK. I was consulting for a company who wanted to do a TV vote. They wanted 7 million people to all pick up their phones at the same time and call one of ten phone numbers....
    I told them they'd shut down the UK phone system, and their engineer agreed. But management said, "Duh. Go ahead"!
    Surely enough, the whole phone system began failing. People in many areas could not even get a dial tone! People could not call emergency services. There was a broohaha in Parliament the next day.
    So, maybe Apple engineers (best in the world) told Apple management (hacks) that they should phase in the upgrades, but the Dun-meisters said "Duh, that sounds like more work to us! Duh."
    SO, we have iTunes useless for days, perhaps weeks !
    AND Apple WILL get much bad press due to this!

    I was on the phone with apple support for close to an hr. and they couldn't figure out my problem either.   When I logged in my primary email address....it said it was in use and couldn't be used.   We set up a new gmail email and that didn't work either.  
    Then .... by some fluke....the next morning, I typed in my mobileme....email and voila....Facetime opened up.   Go figure.

    Have you tried using a WEP password for your wireless network instead of a WPA one? That fixed it for me.

  • Trying to install my apps, and am getting a 'Download Error: Please try again or Contact Support'.

    I am trying to install my apps through Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop and all I'm getting is 'Download Error: Please try again or Contact Support'.  I don't have any support number, or anything like that.  If I try to reload, it doesn't do anything.
    Is there anyway where I can fix it??  I have even tried to reinstall the software still with no luck.

    in my environment i can send/receive mail.
    When doing some checks i will end up with this error :
    451 4.7.0 temporary server error. please try again later. prx4
    I have tried the following without results :
    Exchange 2013 SMTP error "451 4.7.0 Temporary server error. Please try again later. PRX3"
    This error message seems to be caused by DNS issues in the Exchange 2013 set up. Exchange then rejects all emails like this. It is not quite clear what Microsoft means with this error code and the various PRX-numbers at the end - we've also seen PRX1, PRX3,
    PRX7. There is no list and no documentation on them available.
    From customer feedback we found these ways to solve the problem:
    Disable all unused network cards.
    Check all DNS server entries in the configuration of your network cards (check
    all network adapters) and make sure not to reference server 127.0.0.1 as DNS server but to use the real IP address instead.
    If you have more than one fixed IP address in the server add an entry for each IP address in the hosts file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts) formatted like "192.168.1.1 SERVERNAME".
    Important: Do load the latest Exchange 2013 updates, especially CU1 if you haven't done that already.
    Please delete the receive connectors in Exchange and create one new receive connector. Use the "front end" instead of "hub transport" setting and vice versa.

  • Publish Error Please Try Again with /Media folders

    Most of my problems (menu bars masked out, white lines going across photos, etc.) were solved by making a small change to the web page text and then reposting that to the .MAC site. However, when I try to republish my entire site I get a "Publish Error - Please Try Again Later" with the /Media directory of the first page in the list. If I make a change to that one page and just publish it there are no errors.

    After nearly a week, my blogs published on .Mac via iWeb have returned this morning. They are complete and unaltered. Previous attempts to re upload them had systematically failed. I had written to Support and gotten an auto reply but no other response. I assume i will be hearing from Apple today. So this matter is concluded for me and I hope that others experiencing similar problems are also now seeing them fixed. If that is not the case and you have not written a service request email to Apple for .Mac support, I suggest you do so immediately. It worked for me.
    Which brings me to the wrap up. Yes, like everyone else, I think Apple had a major epic screw up and it hurt me, a very very long time customer. But since this is the first time in 20 years that Apple has done anything other than make products that have made my personal and professional better; and since they are giving me a free month for the downtime, and also since you would have to have your head in your.... not to realize that despite the birthing pains, mobilme is amazing and will make things much easier for mobil professionals, not only do I NOT intend to drop my service, or even more hilarious, switch to some crappy PC environment, I consider the posters making those threats to really need a reality check about what they would be switching to and what they would give up. If they do switch, I wish them the best with their uptime. I have been with .Mac since rollout, this is the first hiccup in years. Apple has apologized, made good, fixed the problem and given me something even better for the same price. Time to get back to work in my new marvelous Mac workflow environment.

  • Error Message "Network Error Please Try Again Lat...

    Hi,
    For the few days i have had problems trying to sign in to OVI Store. I enter my user name and password and after a minute or so the message "Network Error - Please Try Again Later". I don't have any problems browsing OVI Store but obviousily i cannot download any apps. as i can't sign in. I have tried using both my WI-FI y network provider and neither works. After that i updated OVI Store to the newest version but its exactly the same. Any ideas anyone?

    Not a solution yet, but received the following from one of the tech people I've been e-mailing back & forth with.
    "I'm sorry that you have been unable to submit your podcast. The podcast submission form is currently offline. When trying to submit the podcast you will receive this message "We are Currently Experienced Technical Difficulties". Once the issue has been resolved, I would be glad to inform you.
    Apple is currently working toward a resolution for the issue you have reported. You will receive an email after the matter has been investigated and further information is available."
    Who knows, maybe the problem isn't with my feed after all.

    I keep getting the message "The code you entered is invalid. Please try again" when I enter my serial number. My hard-drive/computer was completely wiped but I bought Adobe CS and still have my proof of purchase. I am unable to redeem my purchase and re-download.

    Which product and version does this concern?  What do you mean  when you say "unable to redeem my purchase" ?
    If the code you are entering is not a set of 24 numbers (only numbers), 6 sets of 4 digits,  then it is not the serial number.

    Hi all,
    I have a macbook 15 (Late 2008) with 10.6.8 running + Safari 5.1.10 and I have experienced two problems with the Facebook chat:
    1. Often (but I would say almost always) the chat window is cut below and I cannot visualize the box where to type my messages.
    2. Today I have installed the FacebookVideoCalling_v1.6 to perform video calling, and what I am not able to send messages, but I always got the error: "There was a temporary error, please try again. Click to send again." Nevertheless, by following the suggestion to try later, does not solve the situation.
    Does anyone experienced the same problem?
    If it can be useful, I have some additional info. This the Java version I have:
    java version "1.6.0_65"
    Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_65-b14-462-10M4609)
    Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.65-b04-462, mixed mode)
    And here is what I got under the menu "Developers"  (the screenshot is in italian, but I guess it is easy to understand it. Some translation: Svluppo = Develop, Mostra = Show, Abilita = Enable, Disabilita = Disable)

  • Curve 9300 error message: there was a problem during installati​on. Please try again when using app world

    I have a curve 9300 using os 6 and the latest app world 2.1.1.. something
    when i try to download apps it initiates the download then after a couple of seconds after starting it shows the error message "there was a problem during installation. Please try again"
    i have tried ALL the suppourt forums (KB26671 and KB30074) and suggestions/threads and called my network but none have worked. 
    these were reinstallign app world, making a new blackberry id as the other email address was associated with an old blackberry, security wiping the phone then restoring it and entering the new bb id, changing the date to 2014 and then hard wiping the phone and restoring it
    i have twitter, facebook and bbm ect apps but these are RIM made i think and already preinstalled. everything else on the phone works fine
    i have tried both wifi and network internet and battery pull
    i really dont know what else to try or who else to contact to fix it. very annoying paying for a service you cant even use!
    any help or more ideas would be great!

  • Will not let me update on iMac (bought in 2012) when I click update it says Unknown error please try again later. What can I do to fix this?

    My iMac is a 2012 2.7 Ghz Intel Core i5. When I sign into my apple ID a unknown error pops up and says to please try again later. Right now I am running OS X 10.8.5. Anyone knows how to fix this please let me know. Thanks.

    Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
    The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
              SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
    from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
              View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then take one of the actions that you're having trouble with. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
    The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
