Error's with BIPublisher reporting on JDE E1 tables - Request

Hello,
I am trying to use BIPublisher 10.1.3.4 enterprise by creating a jdbc connection to JDE E1.
The Data Access Server is setup and running. The jdbc connection is established to JDE E1 successfully.
But when I try to create a SQL/Datamodel in the report, I am encountering different types of errors. The list of tables are listed when I click Query builder. But,
1. If I select any table there, it is giving "[SECURITY_ERROR] A Security error occured"
2. I wrote a SQL query as
"SELECT F0150.MAPA8
FROM JDE.F0150 F0150"
and when tried to execute the report I am getting this error:
"[SPEC_NOT_FOUND] Unable to find OneWorld specification for MAPA8.
3. Some times, It allows to create the query from the query builder but when tried to execute, throwing error
"Unable to parse operation"
4. When tried to execute a simple statement to retrieve all columns from the table, following error is occuring:
[BSFN_CALLOBJECT_ERROR] An error occurred during the call to trigger business function F0101_FETCHAFTER: COSE#1010 Remote environment initilization failed. Please see Enterprise Server log for details, env. maynot be supported by server: JDB_ERR: FAILED TO LOAD ENV.
If anybody have encountered similar errors, or know the solution for this, please advise us.

I also have this problem. It just apperes sometimes and sometimes it disapperes when we restart the servir which isn't a good solution.
Have you resolved the issue somehow?

In the context create an attribute of type string .
Create the attribute in the node which you bind for table.
In the layout .
1.create a Table UI element.
2 create binding for UI element.
3Right click on the Table UI and select insert table column.
4.once the table column is inserted right click on table column and select insert cell editor.
5.create the cell editor of the type image.
6.Bind the source property of the image to the attribute in the node which you have created.
so depending on what image(type of icon) needs to be displayed set the attibute accordingly.

Scheduling Error occurred with WebI Reports on SAP BO Edge BI XI 3.1 STD

Hello..
I'm using SAP BO Edge BI XI 3.1 STD.
When I schedule the webI Report on Infoview..
Everytime, it failed..
And setting the date for scheduling, it is needed to reset the data by calendar( ie. 2009. 07. 20. -> 2009.07.20.)
What is the reason of failing schedule in WebI report?
I know it was a bug on BOE XI 3.1 and had fixed with FP 1.x.
But SAP BO Edge BI XI 3.1 has no FP yet...
How can I solve this?
We must use the schedule on WebI reports for start production service on Aug...
Please let me know...

Error message with XL reporter

When running the installer, these 2 error messages appear. Has anyone come across this, and can shed some light on it?
1st:
"needs SAP Business One DI SDK" - (SDK and DI API are installed)
2nd:
"Add-on executable file not found" - (Add on registered and exe file available)

Did you installed the DI API on the server and the client machine?
I think the XL Reporter need the DI API on the client machine which should run the addon.

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you get error while running SSRS reports.
Basically, If the Request Management service is enabled, it manages all incoming requests by evaluating logic rules against the user requests in order to determine what\which action to take and which machine or machines (targets) in the farm should handle
the request.
By default the Request time out value for Request Management service are as follows,
RequestTimeout : 00:01:40
RequestExecutionTimeout : 01:00:00
So the error throws from RM service for those reports who take more than 1 minute to generate the report.
To solve this issue, we can stop the Request Management service.
Or increase the time out
value by making use of following PowerShell script.
$waUrl = "URLofWEbApp"
$wa = Get-SPWebApplication $waUrl
$rmSettings = $wa | Get-SPRequestManagementSettings
$req=$wa.RequestManagementSettings
$timeout2= New-TimeSpan -minutes 5

Did another window open with the pasted information? If so, try hitting "enter/return" key and "delete" key at the same time. That should get rid of the current action on the ical, the extra window should go bye-bye, and all should be fine with the world.

Error when opening a BW query with Crystal Reports

Hi all,
I am having problems when opening a BW query with Crystal Reports, the strange thing is that it only happens with
the bo user I have created. If I use a user that already exists and that has SAP_ALL authorization it works.
I don't know if this could be an authorizations issue, but I have created a role with all the authorizations stated in the manual.
The error I am getting is the following:
"An error occurred while generating a new report template. Error in UNKNOWN.RPT file"
Does anyone know what this could be?

With Firefox it works fine.
Customer is using IE as standard browser and Firefox is not available here.

I am using the JRC to export to a PDF file a report that has a sub report within it. Both the main and subreport connect to an Oracle database via an Oracle ODBC connection and both share a single parameter, RUN_ID. I need to set a value for the parameter in both reports. crystalreportrunner.CrystalReportRunner.main(CrystalReportRunner.java:91)I believe the error is that the SQL query in the main report is being updated with the RUN_ID but the SQL in the sub-report is not. I am not sure why the update to set the RUN_ID in the second SQL query fails, but it seems to me the JRC is not detecting it as a missing parameter and is passing the SQL including {?RUN_ID} to Oracle, causing the JDBC driver to fail with this NullPointerException. I think this because further up in the log I see this:-INFO - Executing query: SELECT v.* FROM v_ger_main vwhere v.run_id = 254INFO - Verifying databaseINFO - Executing query: SELECT h.* FROM v_ger_av_ls_tagging hwhere h.run_id = {?RUN_ID}ERROR - QueryEngine error: verify database failed.Both connections are from the same database, but the first has the updated value (254) whilst the second query still seems to have the parameter and so fails to verify.Can someone suggest how I can fix this problem or if I have missed something that is required?Thanks.Jon.

What happens if, instead of passing in parameter field values, you pass the report source object to the viewer (ReportViewerBean for stand-alone or CrystalReportViewer for web)? The viewer should introspect the report for the parameter fields and bring up a parameter field entry dialog box. Does such a dialog box come up? Is only the main report parameter field queried for, or both main and subreport paramter fields? When you enter correct values for the field, does the report display?
Hopefully, the above should narrow down the issue.
By the way, JRC doesn't support ODBC connections, only Java based connectivity such as JDBC, JavaBeans and XML. If you have a report with ODBC, then it looks for a JNDI connection with the same name.

Error when refreshing WEBI report with Universe Connection Type "SSO"

Hi Experts:
We are trying to refresh the Webi report in Infoview with Universe Connection set as "Use Single Sign On when refreshing the report at view time", so that we can leverage SAP OLAP authorization variable from Bex Query which the Universe is built on.
However got the error of "incomplete logon data" after all the configurations done following below blogs:

We already have Win AD SSO to SAP setup, and in BO CMC, Win AD user is mapped to SAP user ID.
The SNC settings are:
- AD Account: service.test.bobj (all lower-letters)
- 32-bit gsslib on the BO server, and 64 bit on the BW server side.
- SNC0: p:service.test.bobj at DOMAIN
- SU01 --> BO_Service ; SNC: p:service.test.bobj at DOMAIN
- Entitlement system tab --> username: BO_Service
SNC Name: p:service.test.bobj at DOMAIN
- SNC settings tab:
SNC Lib: c:\winnt\gsskrb5.dll
Mutual Authentication settings: p:SAPServiceBP0 at DOMAIN
In CMC, the role can be imported if "RFC activated" option unchecked in SNC0.

Sorry for taking so long to reply, we are trying to set up server side trust and enable SSO; but we still couldn't success.
What we did is:
1. We followed installation guide chapter 6, generate certificate and PSE, etc. All looks good.
2. Then we still have the "incomplete logon data" error when refreshing webi report after logon using Windows AD user ID.
3. Then we trace the PFC connection, the log is as below. We checked several BO notes, e.g. 1500150, 1461247.. The part bothers us is that we even don't have URI displayed in the log when system trying to use SNC, and we couldn't get more info on this which make us very difficult to diagnosis.

Error Handling On a Page with a Report

Hi guys.
I have a page with a report region on it. The report is based on an External Table.
If i load a file that does not conform to the format the External Table definition is expecting, I Get an 'ORA-29913: error in executing ODCIEXTTABLEFETCH callout
ORA-30653: reject limit reached' error.
I am happy that an error is generated but my question is this?
How can I handle this exception and others when there is just a report region on a page.
I basically wish to capture 'ORA-30653: reject limit reached' and display an friendly error message to the user in the report region.
Any help would be most welcome.

One way to handle this that I have seen is
a. configure your external table with REJECT LIMIT UNLIMITED
b. specify a BADFILE badfile.txt.
c. Create another external table on that badfile.txt with the same access parameters as your original table but specify all the columns as VARCHAR2(4000), so nothing is rejected.
d. Create another report region on the external table on badfile.txt, call it "Load errors"
So, you would have 2 report regions on the page, one would read your datafile and the other would read the badfile.

Thanks for your feed back. I could see Microsoft.ReportViewer.ProcessingObjectModel.dll to add as reference to my project. Actually I can open generated rdlc in designer, at run time I get error. I could not make out where is the exact mistake out of three
options flashed.
