Alright so I'm having a problem loading iTunes when I try to load it I get this error screen
http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h237/darcy-dodge/error.jpg
I have tried every single help thing that I could available on the Itunes website and none of them worked. I was unable to install the quicktime that doesn't associate with Itunes because it wouldnt' let me uninstall the previous version I had. Why, I don't know. My Itunes worked and then one day last week just stopped. Any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this problem?? The help is greatly appreciate

I do get an error message but none of them have numbers.
okay. if it was a "fatal error" message, try the technique from this post:
http://discussions.apple.com/click.jspa?searchID=-1&messageID=3366434
... but otherwise, try the following technique:
Download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. then use it to clear any existing QuickTime installation configuration information from your PC:
Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility
Next, we’ll manually remove leftover program files and folders.
1. On the Start menu, click My Computer (or double-click My Computer on the Desktop).
2. In My Computer, open Local Disk.
3. Open Program Files.
4. Right-click on the QuickTime folder and click Delete from the shortcut menu.
5. Navigate to C:\Windows\system32\.
6. Remove the files QuickTime.qts and QuicktimeVR.qtx.
7. Restart your computer.
next, we'll try to get a fresh copy of QuickTime into your PC by doing a repair install of itunes.
switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the repair install.
go into Add/Remove and select itunes. click "Change" and then click "Repair".
if the repair install goes through okay, restart the PC and try launching itunes again. does it launch properly now?

is that an "itunes has encountered a problem" error message?
if so, let's first check to see if this is associated with a problem with your QuickTime. (iTunes needs a properly functioning QuickTime in order to work correctly.)
try launching your QuickTime. does it:
    (a) launch perfectly fine?
    (b) fail to launch with an error message? (if so, what does it say?)
    (c) exhibit other peculiar behavior? (if so, could you describe it for us?)

  • Windows XP gives error when loading iTunes

I installed iTunes version 10.5.2.11 on my Windows XP Service pack 3 box.  After installation I double click the icon on my desktop and I get the "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" error message.  All I can do is click send report or don't send report and Itunes will never open.

After installation I double click the icon on my desktop and I get the "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" error message.
Generate another of those error messages and click the "Click here" link in the error message box. What modname and modver are showing for the error? (Precise spelling please.)
If the error is a BEX and thus doesn't show an modname or modver, let us know what P1 through P9 items are showing for you instead.

  • Window error when loading iTunes

This is what the error reads
"iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
I sent the error report to MS and they came back with this from Apple:
iTunes 6 for Windows unexpectedly quits when opened
Under some situations, iTunes may quit unexpectedly when you open it. You may see the error message:
"iTunes has experienced an error and needs to close. Do you want to send the error to Microsoft?"
To resolve this issue, remove all QuickTime installations and repair iTunes, which will install QuickTime 7 on your computer.
    1. On the Start menu, click Control Panel.
    2. Open the "Add or Remove Programs" control panel.
    3. Select QuickTime.
    4. Click the Change/Remove button.
    5. Click Remove.
    6. Click OK.
    7. Repeat steps 3 through 6 if you have multiple QuickTime entries listed.
    8. Select iTunes.
    9. Click the Change/Remove button.
    10. Click Repair.
    11. Click OK.

    hi Fleury!
... might as well reply to you here ...

first download, install, and run the Windows Installer CleanUp utility to remove any existing QT 7 installation registry entries:
Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility
... and then use the Quicktime components of the uninstall instructions in the following document as a guide to a manual uninstall of the QT program files and folders:
Troubleshooting iTunes, iPod Software, and QuickTime installation on Windows
(it's also a good idea to switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the repair install.)
    keep us posted.

  • Error in loading iTunes 10.5 on my Mac

I tried to upgrade to 10.5 last night and it seemed to go ok, but when i tired to open iTunes after the roboot i got the following message:

After that it's a perpetual loop.  I get a "Searching for Updates" then it tells me I have no updates.

  • Itunes error, not loading itunes

when i downloaded itunes it said,iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
    can anyone help
    Scott

    well done Scott!
okay, the fact that you can open it in the new account suggests that there might be something going wrong with the itunes preference files in the old account.
when something like that happens, we can sometimes get past it by rebuilding the preference files in the account with the problems.
quit itunes. log back into the old account.
find and delete the following two files:
    C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunes.pref
    and
    C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunes.pref
(<username> will be the name of the old account.)
You might have to turn on "show hidden files" to find them. (Right click "my computer", select open, select Tools menu -> Folder Options. Select View tab, "show hidden files" radio button is in the center scrolling panel.) these will be rebuilt the next time you try to launch itunes from within that account.
try to launch itunes again from within that account.
do you still get the -48?

Unable to load ITUNES onto PC HP, windows 7 Home Version.  Error message reads "Application Application Support not found".  "Uninstall and reload".  I have done that 4 times on Explorer and Firefox without success.  Help??

I had gotten a similar problem, except with "provider services", i believe, but i solved it by copying sqlite3.dll from E:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support to E:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support. doing that solved my first problem, but now i have been getting the error described in this topic (unable to load dataclass info... etc.). i tried reinstalling itunes (i already had 9.1.1, and thats what i reinstalled) by using the method described on apples site (using the "remove programs" tool in the control panel) and then downloading and installing itunes. when i opened it again, i still got the same error, and just now i got an error saying "the instruction at "0x00aadb6b" referenced memory at "0x00000008". the memory could not be read" it gave me the option to cancel and debug, or to press ok and terminate the program. I tried pressing cancel, and the popup went away but nothing else happened. a minute later the popup was back, so i pressed ok and itunes quit. Upon opening Itunes again, i got the very same error. sorry for the long post, but its really been bugging me. thanks for any help you might give, and if you need anymore info, feel free to contact me.

Not with your current user id.
Far too much uneccesary information in your post, which only confuses things, a vast amount!
    Let's start with iTunes.
Have you updated iTunes to 11.1.5, because the previous version did appear to have an issue about seeing iPods?
With iTunes 11.1.5 installed, look in Edit/Preferences/Devices, (or use the ALT key, followed by the E key and then the F key) and make sure that the box named Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically does not have a tick in the box.
Once you have doen those two things, check to see if the iPod is seen by iTunes.

By the way, what does IOS mean? (I thought IO stood for operating system, but am flummoxed by the S on the end.
    Really?
OS stands for Operating System. (In computer speak, IO means Input/Output.)
iOS originally stood for iPhone Operating System, but it now refers to the iPod Touch and iPhone. The iPod Classic, which you have listed in your profile as your iPod, does not use iOS.
I assume that you have been listening to the Podcast in your iTunes on the computer as you cannot transfer it to your iPod. It's what I'd do.

  • Error upon loading a video from the iTunes in the cloud

I bought a movie called Epic and when I tried to play on my Apple TV via streaming from the iTunes in the cloud it was playing until yesterday it start displaying an Error message "Error upon loading this video content". How long does it take for that to be corrected?

OK well, I think all that stuff about licensing is not true, unless explicitly stated
Just working off a gut feeling (or perhaps just wishing it weren't true)?  I suggest actually checking:
    https://www.google.com/search?q=us+rip+dvd+legal
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Millennium_Copyright_Act
Typically any mention of ripping DVDs may get a topic removed from the ASC forums since it is discussion of an "illegal activity" and subject to Terms of Use.
The key thing here is if you upload a file to your library, then try to replace that same file with the same file name, iTunes will ignore it and NOT overwrite the file that's already there. You have to delete the file off first and THEN add to library again.
Correct, iTunes works on a file basis not a track label basis.  That's why I said delete the old file.  You could have 20 identical files with the same name (in different folders) and iTunes will add them all right next to each other.  Nothing new in iTunes behavior there.  In fact if you had gone to the location where the media file was stored and copied a new one over the old one with the same name I believe iTunes would still know it wasn't the original.  You can, however, edit a file using a third party tool and save it in place and iTunes will accept the changes without having to re-add the file.
