Error Table /CRYSTAL/PERS_VALUE could not be activated
Dear expert,
I'm upgrading BOE to SP3 and then after that SP3 FP3.3.
I got a problem when upgrading to SP3, it's on BW side when importing Transport Request file:
Personalization transport (K900693.r21 and R900693.r21)
The error log is:
Following objects not activated/deleted or activated/deleted w. warning:
Table /CRYSTAL/PERS_VALUE could not be activated
(E- Nametab for table /CRYSTAL/PERS_VALUE cannot be generated )
Table /CRYSTAL/PERS_VAR could not be activated
(E- Nametab for table /CRYSTAL/PERS_VAR cannot be generated )

Roland Hoeller says the problem happens when you apply the SP3 transports on a SAP system that never had any SAP IK transport files installed.
But actually all the BW transport files in the initial installation of BOE XI 3.1 was imported successfully. Including the problematic transport file K900580.R21 and R900580.R21
It was imported with status 'Warning' below:
R21K900580 JJI Business Objects Personalization objects
And the error log is:
Following objects not activated/deleted or activated/deleted w. warning:
Table /CRYSTAL/PERS_VALUE was activated with warnings
(W- Enhancement category for include or subtype missing )
Table /CRYSTAL/PERS_VAR was activated with warnings
(W- Enhancement category for include or subtype missing )
Then that note advises to use BW transport file from:
a. previous version (eg. FP2.6) then re-import the problematic SP3 BW transport file
b. use BW transport file from later Fix Pack (eg. FP3.1, FP3.2, or FP3.3)
Since i'm upgrading to FP3.3, i go with option (b).
But i notice that in the installation files of FP3.3 there's no file K900693.r21 and R900693.r21 in the extracted folder 'transport'.
The installation file i used is:
BOBJINTGRSAP03P_3-10007514.EXE
I even checked (FP3.2 and 3.1) but that file is not there too.
BOBJINTGRSAP03P_2-10007514.EXE
BOBJINTGRSAP03P_1-10007514.EXE
How to get the correct K900693.r21 and R900693.r21 files?

Dear Stratos,
I found out the answer for this.
Apparently in new FP release (eg. FP3.3), SAP replaced that TR:
R21K900693 JJI Business Objects Personalization objects
with:
R21K900705 JJI Business Objects Personalization objects
That's why it no longer exists.

I have tried to restore my i phone 3gs using a USB cable connecting to itunes.The process has gone smoothley but i am now getting this message on my i phone;"your i phone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable.Try connecting your i phone to itunes to activate it,or try again in a few minutes.I have been trying and trying again and switched off my firewall too.but still getting this message.Can anyone please advise me?That is almost always because the phone was hacked to unlock it from the original carrier.

Select the BW Background user and give the name of the background user in your system.

Table could not be activated - Error while transport
Hi all,
I've created a table in one server under a transport request. Co-file and data-file are download for the same and imported into another system (development server). Import is successful and working fine. But, while transporting the table to quality server following error is coming even table is activated.
Table TABNAME could not be activated (E- Nametab for table TABNAME cannot be generated )
Kindly let me know what might be the problem.

First check Transport request for extended check and consistency check. You will get errors. If there is no errors then goto se14
database utility and give the table name and click edit and select the adjust database table . Your problem will be solved.

I am facing with the problem of hanging SPAM patch (SAPKB13 - 16).
The patch will be stopped in the phase IMPORT_PROPER (step: DDIC activation) after few seconds.
The error is:
SPAM
IMPORT_PROPER
Reason: TP_STEP_FAILURE
Return-code: 0008
Error message: OCS package SAPKB70013, step "A", return code 0008
I looked into SPAM - Goto - Import Logs - Queue and found the following:
ABAP Dictinary Activaiton endes with return code 8.
Table SI_WD_FIRST_MAIN_SCREEN could not be activated
The problem in DDIC ACTIVATION is due to fact that I created a
queue including SAPKB70013 and SAPKB70014 and spam reached MAIN
IMPORT phase. SI_WD_FIRST_MAIN_SCREEN is deleted in sp14
Then, the queue was reset (I suppose) and only SAPKB70013 was imported
manually in the system.
Question:
Is it possible to create the table SI_WD_FIRST_MAIN_SCREEN by my own in tcode SE11?

What is your SAP rel and your kerenl level
most of the times for this error it might be an issue with the lib_dbsl patch to my knowledge
and creation of Table SI_WD_FIRST_MAIN_SCREEN will not be possible as you said if it deleted b'coz it is a predefined table.

You seem to be having a tramendous amount of problems since several weeks already with your upgrade...
Have you considered contacting SAP for some help with all these problems?
Of course, if these problems are "self-inflicted" then SAP might want to bill you for it, but I have not seen any mention of custom modifications or the likes in your many posts on the topic here at SDN, so possibly your SAP account manager and SAP Support should step in to solve the overall problem.
If I am missing the point here, then sorry for that - but the recurring flavour of the questions seems strange.
Can you clarify?

When checked in the shadow system, the table doesn't exists and when checked in se14 the dictionary object details exists as transparent table.

we are facing simillar kind of issue in our Upgrade project from 4.6C to ECC6.0

When i check Error log it is showing : Table USRBF for logging is too long (key<250, data division<16.000 necessary)

Diagnosis
The log flag is set in the technical settings for this table. The logs are standardly written to the database table DBTABPRT. The key area or the data area of the table to be logged, however, is longer than the fields of table DBTABPRT reserved for it. The table therefore cannot be logged.
Procedure
Remove the log flag from the technical settings and then activate the table again.
As part if upgrade we need to carry forward this Log check .
Please suggest me what can be done to fix this issue .
