Error transferring datasource in R/3

Hello
I am trying to transfer a datasource from R/3 to BW.I am planning to transfer and then replicate
When i go in RSA5 in R/3 and when i select the source and then click on Transfer it gives me error.the error is "The datasource is not assigned to application component"
What does this mean and how to solve it

Error Transferring Files questi

I purchased a Nano Plus from Craig's list. It is only 4 months old - i was given the receipt. I uploaded several songs that were saved on my hard dri've, burned from CDs. The player worked great. Then i purchased 8 songs from Walmart.com. The first six uploaded fine, but the last 2 had license problems. I emailed Walmart and they got that straightened out. Still, those last 2 will not upload to the player. Everytime i try it says "Error transferring file". These files are wma files, which i read my Nano is supposed to recognize. Even though the first 6 uploaded to the player, when it comes to that song it skips over it. I went to the creative labs website and read their technical advice. It said to delete the PC music library - I did. I then tried to upload a song saved on my hard dri've (an mp3 file) and it again said "error". Their next suggestion is to do a firmware upload which will erase my player. Should I do this? Any idea what is going on? Thanks for any suggestions.

Update, i deleted all the files and it let me put them back on. I put them all into small folders. Now, my problem is, it put ALL the songs on like they worked fine. When the wma format ones that i downloaded from Walmart,com come up, the title shows up on the screen but it skips to the next song. Should i have done something -set something up on the player to accept these? Thanks for your help. I bought this used and the only manual i've got is the online one.

Error transferring Napster songs but not regular m

I have problems tranferring napster downloaded songs(I'm a paid napster to go subscriber) but i can transfer regular mp3 files just fine to my zen micro. The errors i get are as follows:
Napster gives an error of "the device has stop responding"
MediaSource gives a generic transfer error
WindowsMediaPlayer gives a "i/o thread error"
Again, with mediaplayer and mediasource i can transfer just fine a regular mp3.
I am using the lastest firmware and drivers, and XP. Any ideas?

MAJOR KUDOS to DM/GURU! THIS WORKS! (at least for me)
I purchased my Zen Vision: M-- arri'ved yesterday--- wasted no time in Napster to Go (NTG). All seemed well until later when I began receiving error transferring messages on two different (powerhouse video-editing) computers. An additional problem seemed to be Napster freezing up, and Windows Explorer not finding file system. I was up till 4 a.m. trying every solution-- never considered Windows Media Player software as tbe culprit. Just found this advice and gave it a whirl-- downloading all three-- and ALL IS WELL!
Just a note-- when you download the LAST (fix for large data transfer) there are numerous download links-- they all seem to correspond to various languages---<FONT color=#330099> the FIRST one (ending with ENU.exe) is for English.
Just to make it easier to find... Error while transfering Datasource from R/3

I am trying to Transfer Datasource 0GENDER_TEXT from the RSA5. I am getting the Warning
Application component PA-PA-IO of DataSource 0GENDER_TEXT does not exist
When i try to Transfer Application hierarchy which is
above option to transfer datasources, i am getting the error
Package Z_TRA doesnot exits
R/3 4.7
Bw 3.0 b
Give suggestions what might went wrong

Hi Ravi,
try to check if your 'package' is a valid one (it's like a development class for your transport request...maybe you have some problem with Z_TRA...)

OATS: Error Creating datasource client connection

Hi All
When i try to add montiors in the OATS controller machine i am getting the following error .
Error while creating datasource client connection.
i am trying to monitor a linux machine. I am able to ping that machine from controller.
when i tried to do
plink.exe username@hostname i am getting the following error ...
FATAL error : Network error : Connection timed out..
Can anyone please help me on this??

Error in datasource creation

Hi !
I have created a View and it is consistent without any warning.
Now i want to create a transaction datasource with this view . But it is giving an error .
Invalid Extract structure template <viewname> of <DS name >.
In the long text of the error it is giving that template structure quantity fields or currecy fields refere to different table .
In the suggestion , it is told to create a view with inadmissible fields . But these fields are taken from tables and these are necessary in the DS .
Please tell me what should I do ?

Please search the forum. This problem has been discussed before.
Just as a pointer, you need to include the original currency and quantity tables as well alongwith the original table you've created the view on.
If you search, you'll get the complete solution for your problem.

Getting error in datasource

i am having the data in DM1 but getting error in QM1 while extracting data in data source asBuffer Table not up-to-date after that it's going to dump issue in QM1 but few records are available when i am increasing data packets not getting the data.

Execute the SAP_RSADMIN_MAINTAIN program.
Enter the value RSAR_LONG_FIELDNAME in the 'OBJECT' field.
As of Support Package 16 (3.0B) and 10 (3.10 Content), you can take the name of the transfer structure from the longtext of error message RSAR 492. Enter this in the 'VALUE' field.
For lower Support Packages, you can take the name of the transfer structure from the TRANSTRU field of the RSISOSMAP table with:
OLTPSOURCE = Name of the DataSource
LOGSYS = Name of the source system

Existing datasource added one object and transport to quality without deleting data in DTP. So i got error in quality datasource is not updating and not able to open DTP data. now i want to delete the data from that DTP.

Hi Krishna,
What i understand from your question is that after enhancing your Datasource, you are unable to load data from PSA(Datasource) to DataTarget using DTP.
This is because if you already have Data loaded from PSA to the DataTarget(PSA is in initial Version 0)
When you have changed the Datasource & Activated, the PSA Version changes to "1").
If you need to upload Data from this Datasource, you can delete Data in the Target.
Replicate & further Activate the Datasource & then try loading using DTP.

Error in datasource context lookup using OC4J

On Note 557738.1 - Export/Import, Section 5 Step 4, I executed "perl dpost_imp.pl dpost_imp.drv" on the source server and created the required driver. Moved to the target and when applying with adpatch, it failed with:
AutoPatch error:

You should check the file
I opened an SR yesterday and after many hours, I was told to:
a) backup current file dpostimpl.drv
b) edit driver file dpostimpl.drv and made the following change

Has someone got knowledge of what is needed here?You are applying an 11i patch (as you are following [ID 557738.1]) so the "compatible release 12.0.0" line is not correct and it should be "compatible release 11.5.0" instead. Are you sure you are referring the steps in (Export/import notes on Applications 11i Database 11g [ID 557738.1]) not the steps in (Export/import process for R12 using 11gR1 or 11gR2 [ID 741818.1]) or (Export/Import Process for Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 using 10gR2 [ID 454616.1])?
Have you already updated the SR with the outcome of their change?

Error Registering Datasource

Hi, I am having difficulty registering a datasource to iAS. The server
instance of iAS I am using is named crgserver(10817).
When I use the [register] feature in Forte Runtime tab to register a
datasource, I get this error:
"crgserver :Error : could not log on to crgserver"
If I try to use iasdeploy from command line with the string:
"iasdeploy regdatasource MembershipDS.xml" I get this response:
"iasdeploy for iPlanet Application Server 6.0 SP3
Connected to LDAP server on crgserver port 389
No servers registered in the registry"
I also cannot register a server in iASAT. I get a logon error.

The error "No servers registered in the registry" makes me to feel
that your iAS is not registered using the iASAT. Please open the iASAT and
check if your server has been registered. Now, if you are not able to
register iAS using iASAT then here are the following posibilities...
- check if iAS is running properly(you may check this in windows by
enabling the option interact with desktop in the services. In Unix systems
you can check the KJS logs)
- your logon credentials are wrong(either username/password)
- ensure that your LDAP server is running.
- check what your ip address is(is it static or dynamically generated
using dhcp server ? also 127.0.0.1 will not help)
- check what your DNS name is ?
Please let me know if this helps.

Your driver doesn't have the setURL method. Check your driver documentation to find out what properties are supported. You could try to split up your "URL" property to several other properties like "databaseName"=Cohispania_Proc... and so on.

Errors transferring tracks to Zen X

Hi, Brand new replacement ZenX and I have been able to transfer 87 out of 9800 tracks to it using the Audiosynch Wizard. every time it tries to write anymore tracks to the player I receive an error message saying "Player is either not connected or busy, please try again later" followed by " Unable to create file. Please restart player and try again."
The transfer icon on the ZenX stays in the "transferring" mode with the arrows dark. I have to disconnect the USB cable to enable me to to continue...but I still can't transfer any tracks.
I have moved the ZenX USB cable to the laptop's own USB .0 port, also removed the track it was trying to transfer ( in case it was corrupt ), also removed the idle timeout on the player and these made no difference.
So I deleted all tracks from the player and started again. This time it got to track 287 and stopped with the same error.
It also doesn't work in "Import Tracks".
I gave up and updated the software to MediaSource 2.03.29. this made no difference.
I really like this player but I am getting increasingly frustrated that I keep getting problems with it, seeing as it is a replacement for my first player which had the headphone socket problem. Please help.

There are a couple of things to check in this case:
