Sammybobammy89 what Adobe software title are you trying to install? To resolve your current error remove version 1.0.6 prior to installing version 1.2.9.

I tried installing the free trial version of adobe Indesign CS5 from adobe, but i am stuck with the error 100, i tried all possible ways i found in forums to resolve it but couldn't make a way out.
I disabled cookies, removed cache, disabled anti virus, disabled firewall, but still getting the same error when i am trying to create connection from adobe download assistant with my adobe ID. Please anyone suggest some way out to this..

When I launch Adobe Download Assistant to install the trial version of InDesign CS5.5, I receive the Error 100 message.
I have tried every steps of solution 1 but nothing works.
My OS is Windows 7 ; 64 bits.
I have also downloaded Adobe AIR and the last version of Java for both windows 64 bits and 32 bits.
I start getting desperate because I really need this software so if anyone can help, it would be really nice !

I have the same problem with today´s version of Adobe Flash player on Mac OSX 10.6, and with Safari. It works with Firefox 9.0. The problem has been present for versions of Safari and Flash for over 6 months. I am using a MacBook Pro bought in April 2011.

Can't download DW5.5. Error with Adobe Download Assistant

I am getting error 100 with the Adobe Download Assistant (ADA). The log is below. IE can connect to https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/flex2gateway so why is ADA having problem? I wish Adobe didn't take away the direct download links. Searching the forums it seems lots of people are having problems with iADA and it must be causing support headache for Adobe.
My suggestion is for people who know what they're doing, provide the direct links. For people who don't know what to do after the download or have slow connection, they can use ADA.

Sorry, I thought the Cleaner would do it. Did another search and found these instructions to remove the download manager:

The browser is involved because it runs as a plugin of the browser. Plugins are different for the browsers. IE typically runs through ActiveX whereas other browsers run through a java enabled version. By trying the download in another browser you can rule out where the problem lies. Otherwise, I feel your only solution is to get in touch with Adobe support because this is a user-to-user community and there won't be much more help than KB articles. Also with Adobe email support you can email them log files to look at. It's along the process and will explain as you go.

Error running Adobe Download Assistant for PS Elements 11

I'm logged into my Adobe account. I'm on a MacBook Pro running OS x 10.6.8. I use Chrome as my browser but have tried this with Safari as well with the same result.
I download the dmg for Adobe Download Assistant and when I run it, it launches ADA but then a pop up window comes up with:
"This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance."
I want to download and install a trial version of Photoshop Elements 11.
Any suggestions?

I hit the download button and then hit save. It downloaded something, but that was it. So I went back and hit "save and run" and this message appears. I am not sure how to run what I saved initially if that is even the problem. Please help. I need to use this program tonight - the trial of CS5 Extended. Thank you!

Have you tried restarting your computer? It is possible you have a pending update or even another piece of software being installed which is preventing the installation.

Adobe Download Assistant Buttons Frozen

I couldn't find my CS5.5 Master Collection disks, so I tried to download it. At first the Download Assistant came up and showed a screen with a picture of some product boxes but would take no input.
I removed AIR and the Adobe Download Assistant from Programs and Features on Win 7 x64. I downloaded new versions and installed.
Now it comes up and displays a license agreement. The scroll bar and the hyperlinks work. However the Quit, Accept, Help, and SignIn buttons don't work.
What could be the problem?

It is an AIR application. Perhaps there is some other application interferring. I would recommend trying the steps listed in Disable startup items, services | Windows and then trying to use the Adobe Download Assistant again.

Problems downloading with the Adobe Download Assistant behind a proxy

I'm attemtping to use Adobe Download Assistant from behind a proxy (specifically, one created by an IronPort data appliance). Is there a way to set proxy information within Adobe Download Manager? It doesn't seem to be pulling my system's settings, so attempting to download a product results in 101 errors no matter the destination.

The Adobe Download Assistant will use the proxy configuration for your computer. If it is being blocked then please ensure that your proxy is configured to allow the Adobe Download Assistant to connect to the Internet.

Can't start Adobe Download Assistant correctly

When I start ´the Download Assistant, a text box with legal terms appears. In this box there are two buttons that I can press. None of these works and at the same time it is impossible to shut down the program... I have tried to reinstall but nothing works ... Please help me. I want to start with CS6!

Trying to download Adobe After Effects CS6, Whenever I try downloading it it gives me a Error 107. Using Windows 7, 32-bit. Not my first time using Adobe Download Assistant, I have used it before with absolutely no problems. Help please?

This error indicates that ADA is having trouble connecting to adobe.com. Normally, clearing the cache and cookies should resolve this issue.

Mac CS6 Suite Adobe Download Assistant Error 110, 109, 108

Hello,
I am the IT Director for a Small College Campus and we are having problems with the Adobe Download Assistant in regards to downloading the Mac Adobe CS6 Trials. Regarding specifically the Design and Master Suites. I was able to download the Adobe Acrobat Pro XI trial as well as the Photoshop CS6 trial without problem, but when downloading the full Suite trial, I consistantly first get the 110 error, then if I try to restart the download from where it left off, I get an error 109 or 108. The download typically goes fine until the last couple percent, but near the end I get the error and can not restart the download short of starting over completely, in which case the cycle repeats.
I've done everything in Solution 1 of http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-download-assistant.html, with no success. I am also able to download the Windows version of the trial suites, inside a Parallels virutal machine running Windows 7 without error, on the same machine that gives me the error for the Mac version. It seems to only affect the Mac downloads. I tested the same download on the same machine, but off-campus and was able to complete the download, so I think it may have to be a communication error in regards to our firewall, but I'm not sure why it would only effect the Mac Suite downloads. Taking down our firewall completely is not an option.
I have tried multiple browsers to start the ADA install from, as well as multiple machines running different operating system versions (Mac 10.8 Mountain Lion and 10.7 Lion/10.6 Snow Leopard - I'm not sure exactly which previous version it was) with no success. Both computers were on an Ethernet, hardline connection; no wireless. Any suggestions would be appreciated as our production department is starting a Creative Cloud account and would like to be able to use the download manager instead of the direct download links, from another support topic, I have provided them with for the time being, as they can be difficult to find at times, as well as less reliable.

Creative Cloud uses the Adobe Application Manager as opposed to the Adobe Download Assistant. You are right though the error messages which you are posting indicate a failure of the network connection. Since the same computer works off your college network it does sound like a configuration problem with your firewall configuration.
I would recommend working with the manufacturers of your firewall to determine how to properly allow access. Adobe download assistant gone after update

I get on the computer to download Photoshop, but when I clicked on adobe download assistant it needed updated. So I update it(since it made me...), leave for a bit, come back and... POOF. Gone! I looked all over my computer, but I cant find it anywhere. What happened? Where did it go? Am I missing something?

How do I reinstall ADA? I have /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers/ and there:
- Adobe Acrobat XI Pro
- Adobe Creative Suite 6 Master Collection
- Adobe Flash Professional CS6
- Flash Builder
None of them has an option to install ADA as a component. I removed ADA from /Applications (backuped a zipped version as an insurance), Now what?
I think a common problem is that my CS6 suite started as a trial version of CS6 Master Collection (EN), then I decided to buy the Creative Cloud (PL), so the previously downloaded software was authorized with Creative Cloud, bought in Polish Adobe Store. Additional problem is that Polish localization does not always behaves well with EN-versions of Adobe apps or EN-versions of infrastructure. And not all apps are available as PL, so sometimes I must use EN versions. Which I prefer anyway, due to historical reasons (I've been using Adobe products long before there were Polish version available). Too much complexity of the system. Depending on which app I launch (PL or EN) I get different updates in Adobe Help. Adobe Help does not see help updates for Lightroom 4 (which I bought separately, before Creative Cloud), it only sees LR3 help, which I used before upgrading to LR4. Etc, etc.
