Bug Report - DB toolkit returns error when calling the DefaultDatabase property with SQLite
There's an old bug in the DB toolkit where calling the DefaultDatabase property returns error -2147217887 if you're using certain DBs (such as SQLite or PostgreSQL and I believe MySQL as well).
The problem is that this property is called by a VI which is used in some of the commonly used VIs (such as the insert VI),
causing them to fail. Whoever wrote the code was aware of this issue,
since they added a comment about it, as you can see below.
The immediate fix for this is pretty easy - add code to ignore the error or don't call the property at all. It's not used anywhere in the toolkit and unless you're using the VI yourself to get the property, this won't break any code. The problem with this is that you need to do this in every PC.
NI already has a CAR for this (CAR 232063) and should hopefully fix it, so there's no need to take further action at the moment. This post is for people searching for this in the future.
Try to take over the world!Interesting. I have seen this before but it returned a different error code. (Error -2147352567)

LabVIEW 2012 -
Error when calling the sample code with client
The start samples are really good and useful.
However I get an error when connecting to the API App on Azure. The code generated when "adding the reference" has a file called Values.cs. I get an error on line 219:
resultModel = StringCollection.DeserializeJson(responseDoc);
The correct line should be
resultModel = MyContactsListConsole.Models.
StringCollection.DeserializeJson(responseDoc);
I guess there is a naming issue. The StringCollection defined in Contactlists/Models cannot be inferred without a fully qualified path since StringCollection is already in
System.Collections.Specialized
When I update the code to point to MyContactsListConsole.Models then it works.

Blog Logica SwedenSorry you had to discover this bug, Michael. It is a known issue we outlined in the release notes, and have since repaired it in the upcoming release. This is only an issue when your API returns an array of strings, as is the case for the default ValuesController
file. Sorry about that, but know that we've fixed it. -
Errors when compiling the web service (SAP Web Service Design Tool)
After downloading and installing the SAP de Web Service Design Tool (for Crystal Reports Server) I created a connection, a simple query and was able to deploy a web services. I tested the web service with an Xcelsius dashboard within InfoView. Thereafter I created a second connection (other name but same ODBC connection / server) and created another simple query with two date(range) parameters and a group by year and month function in order to do a select count(). It executes fine, but when I try to publish the web service I get an error.
There are errors when compiling the web service.
Is does not say whatu2019s wrong or how I can solve this problem.
Who can help me?
Some notes:
1) Within expert mode I used a MONTH() SQL function which does not show in the normal mode.
2) It seams that the u2018administrationu2019 of Web Service Design Tool got u2018corruptedu2019 after only creating the two connections, queries and services mentioned above. I believe so because I could select one of two queries when I created the second service, but within the current connection I had only one query.
Thanks for any help,
Ron
ADDITIONAL INFO: The parameters seam to be the problem. After removing the parameters I can publish the service. But without parameters it is NO SOLOTION.
Edited by: RonKoudijs on Aug 26, 2010 6:28 PMHello Taylan,
I think the error that you received was due to packaging issues.I placed the
UtilClass.java file under a directory called data which was present under
the project directory.
When you want to access a java class, you can either place the compiled
class file in the WEB-INF/classes folder or you can place the java file
under the project directory.
I have attached the sample project that I created with your files.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Error when calling Java Web Services from ABAP.
Hello experts:
In my project, I will call Java Web Services with ABAP coding. With WSDL, I generated a proxy class and created a HTTP connection (t-code: SM59) and a logical port (t-code:lpconfig) for this proxy class. But when running, I would receive the folllowing errors:
SOAP:1.023 SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("ICF Error when receiving the response: HTTP COMMUNICATION FAILURE")
If I used HTTPS, there is no problem.
Regards
BobHi Bob,
It might be the possibility that your java web server is configured to listen only on HTTPS.
If your HTTPS is working fine, then first check with your JAVA server for HTTP connectivity, then try it calling through ABAP.

Changing namespace when calling OSB business service
Hello All,
I have a business service in OSB calling a BPEL process. The BPEL process returns values prefixing all the tags with name space "pidx". The name space definition is xmlns:pidx="http://www.api.org/pidXML/v1.2".
When I test the business service from the test console, I get the tags prefixed with a namespace v1. I see 2 name space definitions one with pidx and another with v1. any idea why there are duplicate namespace and why v1 namespace gets added?
v1:OrderCreate v1:transactionPurposeIndicator="Original" xmlns:pidx="http://www.api.org/pidXML/v1.2" xmlns="http://www.api.org/pidXML/v1.2" xmlns:v1="http://www.api.org/pidXML/v1.2">
Thanks,
DwarakThe BPEL process returns multiple namespace xmlns:pidx="http://www.api.org/pidXML/v1.2" and xmlns="http://www.api.org/pidXML/v1.2". If i remove one of them, i get the right namespace prefixed with my tags. I had to convert the output of the BPEL process to a string, use a replace to remove the duplicate namespace, convert back to XML. I know this is not a clean way, but did not know an alternative.

Got error when calling a web service, "XMLParametersToComHashtable:LoadXML failed"
Hi, I'm using vs2012, c# and asp.net.
In my asp.net web form project I got the error at the LOC when I call the web service's Search method. What does this error mean and how do I fix this? Am I to use some type of reader or loader? The Search method returns a XMLNode type.
But I thought using InnerText should be fine but I'm still getting the error.
thank you.
var restApi = new someWebServices.restApi();
strParm1 = restApi.Login(XXXXXXXXXXX);
var rtnSrv = (restApi.Search(strParm1, strParm2, 1, -1, false, @"<![CDATA[<parameters><parameter name=""XXXXXXXXX"" value=""XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX""/></parameters>]]>")).InnerText;

What you should do is configure DOMAIN gateways between the remote tuxedodomain
and your own local domain. Then you don't need to call tpinit at all fromthe
local service that calls the remote service.

DCA-40000: internal error when calling a web service
Hello,
I would like to call a web service in Oracle UCM with basic authentication (CheckInUniversal). In JDeveloper 11.1.1.2 I can specify username and password for the WS at design time and the JSPX runs fine.
Now I have added some piece of code into a managed bean (CheckInBean) to use a specific username and password at runtime. When I run the page I get a DCA-40000 with the following error stack:

Anyways, first thing that I could think of is - what is the scope of your managed bean..? If its in request scope can you try changing it to higher scope level (session scope or page view scope).

Error while calling the Web service: GetBprElements
Hi Experts,
During integration of ARIS Business Architect for SAP Netweaver with SAP Solution Manager I tried to import the BPR using Transfer Repository option of the earlier. It showed me process completed with error or warning mentioned in the subject line.
Can anybody suggest solution?
Warm Regards
Shatrughan SharmaHi Swapna,
from your screenshot it seems that you actually try to call the service in your Data Source Expression field. You should set path to the WSDL file here actually - this could be either URL to SAP or to filesystem, as Anton suggested (this could be faster). Have you created endpoint binding for your service in transaction SOAMANAGER? If yes, then simply download the corresponding WSDL with binding or copy the URL which leads to it. But also test whether you are able to retrieve the WSDL without logging into SAP (close all browser windows and then open a new one otherwise session ID from other browser windows can be reused).
If you have to give username and password, then setup anonymous alias in transaction SICF, for example.
Pleas, check my previous post on the same subject here: Re: BCM7 IVR : SOAP request for client identification in CRM .
Maybe it could help.

Dawood. -
Object Referenced Error When calling the Windows Form during Runtime
Hi,
I am getting Object reference errors when running windows form during runtime. In debugging mode in MS Visual studio 2005, I am not getting this error. I'm calling the window form from menu and called the window in a thread as suggested in one of forums . I don't see anyone in the forum mentioned this problem I have. Any help would be deeply appreciated. Below are the error and code samples.

Got "Reponse is not well-formed XML" error when calling FormDataIntegration web service
Hi,
I'm using Windows Server 2008 + LiveCycle Server ES2 (Reader Extensions) + ASP.NET
This problem only happened when I run the ASP.NET program with the licensed version of the server, (which i installed form the CD provided)
However, there is no problem in my development environment with the trial version downloaded from Adobe website, the import data was successful and a correct PDF form can be returned.
My question is that whether there is a problem within the LiveCycle services? or there is missing component that needs to be installed?? Thanks
After call the importData of FormDataIntegration, I got below error
Response is not well-formed XML.
