Error when creating files for transport request SAPK-700BGINPLMWUI

Hello experts,
We're upgrading our 46c System to ERP 6.0 EHP4.
In Phase EHP_INCLUSION we get the following error Message: Disassembling package queue failed, rc = "2", reason = "Error when creating files for transport request SAPK-700BGINPLMWUI"
We've already checked the SAINT version; Upgrade Fix, SAPCAR version. We've checked our TMS as well and everything seems O.K.
Any help would be really appreciated!!!

Please Check the things in following sequence :
1.Use latest SAPehpi, R3trans and tp versions.
2. users/group authorization issue and/or ownersip limitations (set 777) .Reboot the server to make sure, that the authorisations are updated and there is no lock on a file in the EHPI dir.Repeat the phase.
Folders where permissions should be 777 are Upgrade directory, Data Directory, Cofile directory and .../EPS/in.
3. Source file corruption can be ruled out by execution
R3trans -l /usr/sap/<SID>/..../abap/data/R-700BGINPLMWUI.SAP (The data file corresponding to the Package which is giving error). Check if this ends fine.

4. Confirm that your transport tool is 'healthy' by testing it in STMS. In SPAM in client 000 use the function Disassemble package and enter the package <Package name>.
5. Try to update the kernel if it not helps.

Error when try to release transport request

I encounter some error during the release of transport request.
First, when I go to SE10, it will show message "Global information cannot be read". Then, after I login, I try to release a request, it prompt me another message "Test call of transport control program (tp) ended with return code 0208". I had tried to update the tp.exe, but still the same error. Any clue to solve it? Below is the error details:

Your transport request could not be exported, since all requirements were not fulfilled.

Release the request again when the error has been removed

Any STMS operation will not work without the DIR_TRANS directory defined and accessible - and that seems to be the problem in your system.

RFC error when trying to add transport request in queue in STMS..

Hi,
When I try to add a Transport request in queue in STMS transaction. I get RFC error saying some problem with tp program.
But when I go and check the RFC connection through STMS in system overview -> Communication -> RFC setting, it says RFC connection Ok.
What may be the issue ? I really need some light on this..

Hi Rajesh,
At times when u try to add the TR to a queue there would be 2 reasons.
1. If u have imported a TR into a system say QTY and it needs to be re imported, then we delete it fromthe STMS queue and add it again to re import it.
2. If u have some transport from external sap system to be imported here we place the data and Co files in the trans directory and then add the TR to this queue.
A TP failure happens if the data and co files does not exist in the TP directory or else, the TR target system is incorrectly mentioned.

File Name error when creating file in Solaris C locale

Background Info:
1.In Java, we can use new File(filename) to create a new file. The filename there is a string denoting the name of the new file.
2.As mentioned in bug4409965, "The 'C' locale in a 7-bit ASCII locale, the 8bit characters enteredn are not read in properly probably because in that locale, the input byte stream is expected to contain only 7bit characters, anything else is 'garbage'".
My problem is:
when I tried to construct a filename containing non-ASCII characters in the Solaris C locale, Java works quite different from C language.
To be specify, follwing c code works quite well in C locale:
char * temstring = "\0xd6\0xd0";
FILE* fd = fopen(temstring, "w+");
fprint(fd, "test");
fclose(fd);
Although the created file can't be viewed in C locale, the filename shows quite well in other suppoted locale , which means the filename doesn't get modified.
While in Java, the following code
File f = new File("\0xd6\0xd0");
fos.println("test");
try {
f.createNewFile();
} catch (IOException e)
System.err.println(e.toString());
will generate the file in C locale as ???? as garbage file name. Even in the proper locale, the filename can't be read correctly.
I doubt the JVM in Solaris (file unixfilesystem.c) has modified the input filename and made the filename unreadable.
I just wonder if there is some workaround to solve this problem, which means I can correctly generate the filename using Java just as what the C code has done: create the file just as what I denote instead of modifing the filename.

Errors when creating DC for MastHead

Hi Friends,
I am trying to creat DC for masthead using the standard masthead par. I am able to create the DC using PAR as Standalon Portal Component (SDA). I am able to deploy or activate successfully. But at runtime i am getting the below error/exception.
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.sapportals.portal.navigation.LogoffConfirmMsg
I strongly feel that i need to add other DC as used DC. Could anyone pls let me konw if you have answer for this.

Error when create schemas for webcenter using URM.

Hi,
I use Oracle Urm to create necessary schemas for Webcenter. Everything goes well when I create the tables.
However, when I extend my domain with Webcenter, comes to the database connection testing step, the tests always fail.
It said: A connection is establish but no result received from the Test query.
I ignored the test but then later, start the WLS_Spaces manage server, the server can't start because of database error, the needed tables not found.
I use SQl Developer to connect to the database but can't see those newly created tables.
But during the URM step, nothing went wrong.
Can you help me with this?

Hi Heather,
The reason that you are receiving this error is because the niscope.h file (called by niScope.fp) uses a struct which cannot be compiled into a DLL. This means that the niScope.fp file cannot be included in the target settings. Here's a knowledgebase that describes the error.

If you do want the niScope.fp file to be included then you will need to make some modifications to the niscope.h file and create a typedef for the niScope_wfmInfo struct. Here's info from the help file that describes the type library section and the use of the .fp file.
"Type Library—This button lets you choose whether to add a type library resource to your DLL. Also, you can choose to include links in the type library resource to a Windows help file. LabWindows/CVI generates the type library resource from a function panel (.fp) file. You must specify the name of the .fp file. You can generate a Windows help file from the .fp file by using the Generate Windows Help command in the Options menu of the Function Tree Editor window.
This feature is useful if you intend for your DLL to be used from Visual Basic."
If you do not include the niScope.fp file then you will be able to compile the DLL.

Error when creating Infopath for testing webservice

I have done below steps in Microsoft Infopath
1) i clicked on New form data source infopath
2) selected web service then click next
3) selectec Receve and submit data then click on next
4) specified the http://xidev:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry (this URL i got when i created webservice in ID of xi)
when i click next i am getting following error.

after i click ok, then again igot the 2nd message
InfoPath cannot find or cannot access the specified web service description
may i know the reason.

Getting error when creating worklists for FSCM - Collections management

Hi All,
I am trying to implement FSCM - Collections Management and after all the configuration in SPRO and periodic processing in SAP easy access for transferring Accounts recievable, when I try to create Worklist i get the below error "No BP rules with BP role category UDM000 exists for partner 200"
I have created and assigned the BP role category UDM000 to my BP rule, yet i get this error. Is there anyway I can check the assignment of the rule.
Please help me with your thoughts in getting this error fixed.

1.As deep said check the validity of the BP @ BUT 100
2.Check your config settings one again completly
Cross-app components>master data sync>Synchronization control (check all the settings).
Cross-app components>master data sync>customer /vendor integration>bp settings>settings for cust int -->define BP role for direction cust to BP(check you have assigned the group to the role).
Cross-app components>master data sync>customer /vendor integration>bp settings>settings for cust int -->field assign for cust int >assign keys>define number assign from cust to bp (here check for the bp and cust group and same no fields).
3.If you are running the the worklist gen by batch please check for the overlaps and the sufficient no of jobs available for processing.
4.If your you are using ECC 6.3 or lesser version then apply the note 1134890
5. The error may be mis-leading because the program always through the same error if there may be some other issues - so debug the pgm
6. If every thing is fine above then write to SAP

Error when creating PO for sales order (third party)

Hi All,
I have been trying to create a new PO from a purchase requisition. This PR is a third party PR with Account assignment category S. Also it is sales order related.
When I try to save the PO it gives me two errors as shown below :
"No upate of sales order 30081586 from purchase order (error V4 115)"
"System error (error in method PO_POST)"
Has anyone come across such an error? Is this because of something wrong in sales order?

according to this note the cause is
"You create a purchase order with reference to a purchase requisition (PReq) that was generated as a result of a third-party order or an individual customer order. If another purchase order with reference to this sales document is changed at the same time (in another window or by another user) and the first purchase order is saved in the meantime, the associated sales order item is not updated and a termination occurs with error message ME 816, "System error: (error in method po_post)".
This is basically a program error .To solve this follow the correction instructions mentioned in note 849480.

I when I tried to create a breadcrumb in tabular form, I got:
1 error has occurred
* This Menu Identification Page already has an associated Menu Option. You must select another page.I found other thread that discussed the same subject and it mentioned about "deleting entries in tabular view" when apex_application_bc_entries showing the corresponding page was included in defined_for_page and url column (my corresponding page was included in those columns also). However I don't know how to delete those entries.

I have resolved the problem by copying the page I want to link to another page in the app without breadcrumbs, then added the breadcrumb region,
a breadcrumb entry. I then pointed the 'home' page to the new page and was able to navigate to the new page and back to the home page.

I believe the issue is with a new pseudocolumn reference introduced in 10gR2. Kindly refer to the Oracle Database SQL Language Reference on [OBJECT_VALUE Pseudocolumns.|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28286/pseudocolumns006.htm]
A quick workaround for those using Oracle Database 9iR2 or 10gR1 would be to edit the "Installation Script" (under "Supporting Objects"). Edit the "OEHR_CATEGORIES_TAB" DDL to the following:
