Error when enable Reader Extended additional features

I have created a form and look ok but when I enable Reader Extended PDF -> Additional Features form giving following error. How can I fix that?

Receiving Script Error only on Reader extended PDF

I'm working with a user who created a Livecycle PDF. They have formulas to sum rows and columns. Everything works fine in preview mode.
However the PDF starts throwing an error when I reader extend it. I'm not sure why or what I need to do to fix it.

I think it is fixed. I deleted the formulas and re-entered them. I also renamed the fields to something more descriptive rather than the default assigned in the form. That seems to be working.

Enable reader extended feature

How do I enable the extended feature in my Adobe Reader? As I am having problems editing my forms.

The extended features are applied to a file, not to the entire application. This needs to be done in Acrobat, not in Reader.

Errors in creating Reader Extended PDF

Cannot create Reader-enabled pdf in Acrobat XI, version 11.0.07, on PC. My co-workers on Macs have no issues. I've created a form in Acrobat with several dropdown menus for the various fields. I save a backup copy so that I can go back to the original file to edit as necessary. From there, I select File > Save as other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable more tools. From there I receive a pop-up titled "Enable Usage Rights in Adobe Reader" . I select "Save Now". I then navigate to the folder where I want this file saved, and update the file name. Acrobat then saves a file in the correct location, with the correct name, but gives me an error message to the effect of "Reader Enabled version could not be created". No reason why, just didnt' do it. In fact, when I open the file in Reader, all the fields are gone, and there is an error message explaining that the Reader Usage rights have been changed".

Does the issue occur with just one particular file, or are you able to save others without error? If it's happening consistently with all PDFs, I would suggest doing a repair of your Acrobat installation.

Error when posting - Call up of feature PPMOD was not successful

Good Afternoon,
We recently completed an upgrade to ECC6.0 and this week we have seen two cases of receiving an error when trying to post payroll to FI using RPCIPE00.
The error we are receiving is: Call up of feature PPMOD was not successful, Message no. 3G100
The diagnosis on the error message is: Feature PPMOD has been called to set the employee grouping for account determination. This call was unsuccessful and suggests that we check the decision tree for PPMOD.
While there have been some somewhat recent changes to PPMOD, I have stepped through the feature for both individuals who had this error and can find no problem with the logic in the decision tree. I've also regenerated the feature successfully. After searching OSS I found note 1243065, which is the exact error that we are receiving. The problem is that this note was included in HR support pack 44, and we're already on HR support pack 48. We also found a post that suggested we use RPCIPE00_OLD, but gave us the same error.
My next step was to post a customer message, but thought it would be worthwile to post something here and see if anyone has any suggestions first.

The issue may not be related to the note you indicated as this note should already be included in your system with SP 48. Please check what personnnel areas the errors ees are in, and see if they're in the decision tree of 'PPMOD' .
If this looks OK, run payroll simulation for the error ee, put break-point in form 'CALL_549B' of program '/1PAPA/FEAT310PPMOD' and see what value STRUC-WERKS (pers. area) is when it fails.

Reader locks up IE when viewing Reader Extended documents (Shared Review)

There seems to be a problem when viewing some reader extended documents that have shared review enabled over WEBDAV. This has been going on for quite some time, and I can't seem to find a consistent solution for it. I have had many different clients report the same problem, always within IE.
Here is what happens:
You click a link to view a pdf that has shared review enabled, and has been reader extended.
A gray screen comes up with a progress indicator.
When the progress indicator comes up, the document displays in the background and a "Welcome to Shared Review" window appears.
You click ok to the Welcome window, and the document reverts to the blank gray screen and you are stuck. Occasionally IE locks up at this point as well.
Here's what I know:
The problem occurs when the file is viewed in IE. The problem does not seem to occurr in other browsers such as chrome or firefox.
The problem does not occur when the same file is saved to the desktop and opened within the desktop version of Reader or Acrobat.
The problem occurs with both Reader X and XI
The problem occurs on both Windows 7, and Vista (at least)
The problem occurs on IE 9 and 10
The same problem has occurred on at least 20 computers in 5 different network environments
The problem often times occurs on the second view of a document, and then prevents you from ever viewing it again.
What I've tried
Uninstall IE and all copies of Reader & Acrobat
Reinstall IE
Reinstall Reader
Update Everything
Turn off "Speculative Downloading"
Turn off "Fast Web View"
none of that seems to help
Sometimes i can get it to work temporarily by clearing the temp internet files in IE and then viewing the document again. Sometimes it will then start to display fine, but later reverts to the gray screen.
Any suggestions would be wonderful.

AWM error when enabling for discoverer.

I am experiencing some difficulties enabling my analytic workspace for discoverer. I have a created a workspace based on a cube with 1 fact and 2 dimensions. I used Oracle Enterprise Manager 9.2.0.1.0 to create my meta data and AWM 9.2.0.4.1D to create the workspace. When I enable for discoverer plus in AWM it takes me through the wizard and at the end when I click on finish, I get an absolutely non descriptive error...it is: "dataprovider error initializing the AW". I go to the awmrun.log file to see what happened, and it is also confusing. There is a SQLException underneath, but it doesn't say what the overflow was on:

i am not having any problems with users that are created via exchange using New-Mailbox
it is only user accounts that have been enabled for exchange that are causing problems via Enable-Mailbox.
Both user accounts are in the Same OU, have same UM Dial Plan.
i have run a compare of security permissions using dcacls and there is a difference. mainly on an attribute called Group.
i have checked the security permissions and group membership and can't see it listed anywhere. please see output below:

Error when trying to extend network from airport express to airport express

I have an airport express in my house.
I am trying to connect another airport express to extend the network.
I am following the instructions but keep getting an error when it is resetting itself. I have done a hard reset on the airport express so it is in its default settings.
I see both airports in the left window of the Airport Utility Application.
I select the New Base Station and select Switch to switch the networks.
I then rename and add a password to the new airport express. (continue)
I then select "I want Airport Express to join my current network" (continue)
I then select "Extend the range of my Airport Extreme or Airport Express network" so I can extend the internet connection (Continue)
It then asks me to choose the Airport Express network I want to extend - I get a choice of my "Cameron Network" or "Apple Network xox##xo" which is my new Airport Express. I'm selecting "Cameron Network" - my current wireless internet connection. (Continue)
I am then asked to select the Apple wireless device I want to join from the list.
The only option is "Cameron Airport Express" (OK)
I then get a message "Configuring main network for a new WDS remote"
I then get an error "There was an error setting up this Apple Wireless Device for WDS. Quit AirPort Utility and try again"
I've tried 10 times.
What am I doing wrong??

It sounds like you have an older "b/g" Airport Express (AX) and you have configured the device to "join" your wireless network. When the "b/g" AX is configured this way, the ethernet port is not active.
Follow the instructions to setup a WDS arrangement with both of your AX devices. One must be configured as a WDS "main" and the other as a WDS "remote".
Apple's step by step instructions to do this are found on pages 42-44 in the Designing AirPort Networks Guide
If both of your AX devices are newer 802.11"n" devices, you can use a different type of setup. Post back to confirm if that is the case.

Displaying errors when Enable automatic error handling option is on

Both will (optionally) display a popup when an error occurs. The general error handler just has more options for special cases. The simple error handler is typically sufficient.
If you havce automatic error handing enabled, you'll get a popup whenever a function generates an error AND the error output is not wired. Once you wire an error handler, the automatic error handling will no longer occur.
To display an error, you can also just place a plain error indicator on the front panel. This avoids annoying popup messages.

EDSCannotAccessSession error when enabling email

I'm using 10.5 server for Email, iChat, Calendar, and AFP on an Intel XServe. Everything has been going smoothly for a few months but in the last month when I've tried to enable email to any users in Workgroup manager I get the following error which prevents saving the changes: "Error of type eDSCannotAccessSession (-14006) on line 274 of /SourceCache/WorkgroupManager/WorkgroupManager-319.1.1/Plugins/UserAccounts/Use rMailPluginView.mm"

8.81 B1iC error when enabling Dashboard Widget

Hi,
In the B1 client when enabling the Dashboards (Cockpit -> General Settings -> Enable Dashboard Widget) I get the following error in red at the bottom of the screen (and in the client message log):
Install SAP Business One Integration Service before enabling the dashboard widget Message ID = 1290000001
I have a clean install of 8.81 PL00 and the Integration Component, company database is a new a demo database (SBODemoAU).
The B1iC install created the correct SLD and I have tested the B1DI & JDBC connections and both report successful connections.
There is also a successful message in the Integration Framework message log for trigger object 1210000008 which I believe from the doco and previous versions that this is the Dashboard deployment to the Bizstore.
I have gone through the B1iC Troubleshooting guide as much as possible (it does not yet have the 8.81 updates) but nothing helps.
I understand the B1iServer address is now automatically created in 8.81 but how do I check the correct value and fix this problem.
I have spent a few days on this trying different things, sniffing the network, analyzing SQL calls, so any help would be appreciated.

I too am finding the same issues. Am on 8.81 PL7. (8.81.315). B1DI and JDBC test good. Cockpit at Company level enabled. Enable dashboard widget does not work. I receive "Ensure that SAP Business One Integration Service and SAP Business One Event Sender Service have been started; then wait 1 minute and try again" Both are running and have been for 24 hours.

Error When Loading Reader

Hi all
I have a machine that has started coming up with the following error when yrying to start Adobe reader
"This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem"
I have also tried install Acrobat 8 (Full Product) and that fails to start as well so the issue seems to affect all adobe products.
I have tried the following to reolve the issue:
Uninstalled Adobe Reader9 and re-installed into a different folder
Run CCleaner to fix any Regisrtry errors
Manually Deleted all adobe folders of the system and re-installed
Tried installing Adobe 8 and Adobe reader 8 same problem on both
Any help would be much appreciated

I am having the same problem on one of our machines. Tried reinstalling Adobe Reader 9.1 as well as reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (saw some similar problems linked to that) but no luck so far.

Error when installing Reader

Hello, I get an error when I try to install Adobe reader:
the instruction at "0x00430887" reference memeory at "0x000000010". the memory could not be read. click ok to terminate or cancel to debug.
I'm running XP professional, sp2. I origianlly was getting an error when trying to open a pdf file so I uninstalled. I'm not aware of anything changing that would cause this.

What version of Adobe Reader are you trying to install?
Are you using the download manager (online installation), or a downloaded installer, e.g. from http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/9.3/enu/AdbeRdr930_en_US.exe

MBP "System Profile" error when try read "Logs" and long time blue screen

MBP "System Profile" error when try to read "Logs" and it takes long time blue screen at startup.
This happened all time when I open the "System Profiler" application and then select the option "Log", then the system crashed again over and over. The system was reinstalled clean but the error occurs again, without any third party application installed.

I understand that after upgrading your computer when you plug in an ethernet cord you get a hardware malfunction error. I am providing you with a Microsoft Support document: Hardware Malfunction Results in System Error Message that explains what causes that error and provides steps on fixing it. I am also including a link to the Compaq Presario 5300US Desktop PC Drivers page, which unfortunately does not have any drivers for your computer running Windows Vista.

IOException Error, when file reading

Error is:
java.io.FileNotFoundException: input.txt (The system cannot find the file specified)
I get the error when i try to run the Copy class from the following location: http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/essential/io/filestreams.html
The text files both exist but it still does not work. Help please

1) File name is different. The sample uses "farrago.txt" not "input.txt".
- But i assume that's to easy.
2) That sample uses no path. This means, the file must be located in the current working directory.
- I don't know, where this working directory is located. It depends on the environment in which your class is started...
- Use a fully qualified path to your files e.g. "C:/temp/input.txt" instead of "input.txt".
- Or put your files to the current working directory.
- Or use relative path, if you know where your working dir is located.
btw:
- Your file object "inputFile" offers a method .exists(), so you can prevent your program from throwing that Exception.
- If you are using back slash (WIN-style) for the path, you have to double that "\".
This means: "C:/temp/input.txt" is written as "C:\\temp\\input.txt"
But using UNIX style "/" is also possible on WIN systems and less confusing. (JRE will translate this for you)
