Error when function defined as property of TestCase

I'm finding that defining a test case property as a function data type causes some problems.
Here the test case.
package tests
    import flexunit.framework.Assert;
    public class TestExample
        public var exampleFn:Function;
        [Test]
        public function testExample():void
            Assert.fail("Test method Not yet implemented");
Here's the eclipse error.
This seems to stop FlexUnit from working. Can no longer added any other test cases.
I'm running FB4 as a plug-in into Eclipse 3.5.2 OS X 10.6.3

Thanks for the information. Could I have you post this bug in Adobe's Jira:
https://bugs.adobe.com/flex/
The people who write the Flash Builder plugin do not watch these forums, only those of us maintaining the FlexUnit framework and I want to make sure this bug gets attention. If you provide me the bug number, I can follow up on it as well.

    I was able to reproduce this issue in the beta also. The issue has since been fixed. For the time being, it looks like you can just clear (delete) that particular value and re-add it w/ the updated binary.

    >>
    I check MDX PARSER connection in SM59 sucessfull
    I am beginer of Universe and Web Intelligence, please help me solve this problem.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    The MDX parser in the universe designer just check the XML Tags or Syntax. It does not validate the expression.
    The YTD, QTD, MTD functions in the universe designer requires a reference to a predefined time chararcteristics eg. 0CALMONTH etc. So the correct expression would be similar to the below expression:
    <EXPRESSION> SUM(YTD([0CALMONTH].CurrentMember), @Select(Key Figures\SS Total value of the invoice line))</EXPRESSION>
    Also you need to add the time characteristics in the result set.

    Rohit

  • SCSM Authoring Tool verification error when creating a new property

    I am needing to add several new fields to an existing customized ServiceRequest Extended Form.  Using SCSM I exported the management pack (as a bundle) and then used PowerShell to export to a .xml.   Now when I open the class and try
    to create a new property I get an error stating:
    The management pack could not be verified due to this error:
    Verification failed with 1 errors:
    Error 1:
    Found error in ...servicerequestextendedform.category with message:
    The Target attribute value is not valid.  Element ....ServiceRequestExtendedForm.Category references a Target element that cannot be found.
    I am very new to this.   Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    you probably want to go back to original sources, rather then exporting from Service Manager, since the export will break any sealing and might cause issues when authoring or resealing.
    You'll also need :
    a Sealed version of the class extension, since this is going to need to be loaded into the authoring tool before you see the extra properties,
    an unsealed copy of the MP that contains the form customization, so you can edit it
    the original key used to seal the current customization, so you can seal the upgraded form using the same key so it will upgrade the MP correctly in your production environment.
    The specific error you're running into looks like a MP reference error, but it's hard to be sure without seeing the original XML. i'd make sure that you have opened the sealed versions of any other MPs this MP depends upon.

    Hi,
    Now its giving, bad bind variable error.
    it doesn't work for me.
    It works fine if i give
    case when :B_tran_item.item_status = 'V' then 0 else round((nvl(:B_tran_item.unit_retail,0) * nvl(:B_tran_item.uom_quantity,0)) - nvl(:B_tran_item.TI_total_item_disc_amt,0), INTERNAL_VARIABLES.GV_curr_rtl_dec_loc) end
    It error out only if remove case
    round((nvl(:B_tran_item.unit_retail,0) * nvl(:B_tran_item.uom_quantity,0)) - nvl(:B_tran_item.TI_total_item_disc_amt,0), INTERNAL_VARIABLES.GV_curr_rtl_dec_loc)

  • Bug Report - DB toolkit returns error when calling the DefaultDatabase property with SQLite

    There's an old bug in the DB toolkit where calling the DefaultDatabase property returns error -2147217887 if you're using certain DBs (such as SQLite or PostgreSQL and I believe MySQL as well).
    The problem is that this property is called by a VI which is used in some of the commonly used VIs (such as the insert VI),
    causing them to fail. Whoever wrote the code was aware of this issue,
    since they added a comment about it, as you can see below.
    The immediate fix for this is pretty easy -  add code to ignore the error or don't call the property at all. It's not used anywhere in the toolkit and unless you're using the VI yourself to get the property, this won't break any code. The problem with this is that you need to do this in every PC.
    NI already has a CAR for this (CAR 232063) and should hopefully fix it, so there's no need to take further action at the moment. This post is for people searching for this in the future.
    Try to take over the world!

    Interesting. I have seen this before but it returned a different error code. (Error -2147352567)

  • Error when defining a variable  other than CHAR

    I am getting a syntax error when I define variables :
    data: l_arbei  type p.
    constants:  l_delim  type x  value '09'.
    Message L_ARBEI must be a character-type field (data type C, N, D or T). an open control structure introduced by "INTERFACE"
    Has anyone else experienced this problem.  Why can I not define these variables.

    data: l_arbei  type p decimals 1,
          l_ismnw  type p decimals 1.
      write w_ops-work_activity to l_arbei.
      l_arbei = l_arbei - l_ismnw.
      if l_arbei gt 0.
        write l_arbei to w_ops-work_activity.
      endif.
    As mentioned same error message when defining the following:
    constants:  c_delim  type x value '09'.
         split i_input1-line at c_delim into
               w_hdr-orderid
               w_hdr-order_type.
    I agree that there should be no problem with the definitions. However cannot understand why it does not like it.  Thought there might be an additional requirement for Unicode systems.

    I want to include an InfoCube using non-cumulative key figures (0IC_C03) to a MultiProvider that includes other basic cubes.  Is this possible?  I thought I read that you could include one non-cumulative cube in a MultiProvider.  When I added 0IC_C03 to the MultiProvider I get the following error when activating: "Define the characteristics of the validity table for non-cumulatives."  The validity table is defined for 0IC_C03, do I need to do anything special in the multiprovider?  Any ideas on what I need to do?

  • 8i personal : error when Create user defined aggregate function

    Hi,
    I have problem on creating user defined aggregate function.
    I try to create the sample aggregate function "SecondMax" from 9i developer guide(append at the end of this post).
    It's work to create object type and the type body, but
    there is error when I create the aggregate function..
    "CREATE FUNCTION SecondMax (input NUMBER) RETURN NUMBER
    PARALLEL_ENABLE AGGREGATE USING SecondMaxImpl;"
    I am using 8i personal now.. is that the syntax of create function in 9i is different from that in 8i?
    Example: Creating and Using a User-Defined Aggregate
    This example illustrates creating a simple user-defined aggregate function SecondMax() that returns the second-largest value in a set of numbers.
    Creating SecondMax()
    Implement the type SecondMaxImpl to contain the ODCIAggregate routines.
    create type SecondMaxImpl as object
    max NUMBER, -- highest value seen so far
    secmax NUMBER, -- second highest value seen so far
    static function ODCIAggregateInitialize(sctx IN OUT SecondMaxImpl)
    return number,
    member function ODCIAggregateIterate(self IN OUT SecondMaxImpl,
    value IN number) return number,
    member function ODCIAggregateTerminate(self IN SecondMaxImpl,
    returnValue OUT number, flags IN number) return number,
    member function ODCIAggregateMerge(self IN OUT SecondMaxImpl,
    ctx2 IN SecondMaxImpl) return number
    Implement the type body for SecondMaxImpl.
    create or replace type body SecondMaxImpl is
    static function ODCIAggregateInitialize(sctx IN OUT SecondMaxImpl)
    return number is
    begin
    sctx := SecondMaxImpl(0, 0);
    return ODCIConst.Success;
    end;
    member function ODCIAggregateIterate(self IN OUT SecondMaxImpl, value IN number)
    return number is
    begin
    if value > self.max then
    self.secmax := self.max;
    self.max := value;
    elsif value > self.secmax then
    self.secmax := value;
    end if;
    return ODCIConst.Success;
    end;
    member function ODCIAggregateTerminate(self IN SecondMaxImpl, returnValue OUT
    number, flags IN number) return number is
    begin
    returnValue := self.secmax;
    return ODCIConst.Success;
    end;
    member function ODCIAggregateMerge(self IN OUT SecondMaxImpl, ctx2 IN
    SecondMaxImpl) return number is
    begin
    if ctx2.max > self.max then
    if ctx2.secmax > self.secmax then
    self.secmax := ctx2.secmax;
    else
    self.secmax := self.max;
    end if;
    self.max := ctx2.max;
    elsif ctx2.max > self.secmax then
    self.secmax := ctx2.max;
    end if;
    return ODCIConst.Success;
    end;
    end;
    Create the user-defined aggregate.
    CREATE FUNCTION SecondMax (input NUMBER) RETURN NUMBER
    PARALLEL_ENABLE AGGREGATE USING SecondMaxImpl;
    Using SecondMax()
    SELECT SecondMax(salary), department_id
    FROM employees
    GROUP BY department_id
    HAVING SecondMax(salary) > 9000;

    This could be a x64/x86 problem. Try following this thread
    [GetCompanyService|GetCompanyService] and recompile your code for the platform you need.

  • Error when executing function in MSS launchpad report ???

    In MSS lanchpad report, we have the following problem:
    Error in Manager Sef-Service
    When calling the report, the following error occurred:
    System: HRP
    Error when executing function
    Basically in MSS report, I select employees in the first iView which calls another ABAP query in back-end to display back-end t-code inside iView of portal through ITS service. What could be the reason for it? please advice.
    Thanks,
    Anthony

    Please try converting the standadrd-delivered scenario RPT0, then check
    out the things.
    Also problem may be that your function code names contain
    the character '&'. This causes a problem when the selected function
    code is passed to the ITS-WebGUI as a URL parameter. Please use only
    standard characters (A..Z and _) when you define a function code.
    Then it should work.
    Please go through the following link also

    3198408d953154e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
    Please test in backend using Se38 > PWPC_RPT_START_REPORT_TEST
    The Reporting Iview in the portal has the Report category type, by
    the report category type is set to "RPT0". Therefore, when the
    application is launched, the reporting category type is also sent as URL
    parameter to the backend system. As of ECC 6.0 only the reporting
    category type "RPT0" is supported. ensure this is set for your custom reports if you are using own scenarion
    then set in the Iview property of reports as well
    ie example
    1)Change the Iview property "Scenario" of the Reporting iview from
    "RPT0" to your own "ZRPT", than this set of reports will work. however,
    the standard reports will not work.

  • Error when I put a component in the stage and I change any property

    Hello
    I'm using Flash CS4, as3 and adobe air file. I have an application with 3 scenes, first scene to login, second to set up, and third to see an video.
    The problem is that, when I put a component in the second or third scene, if a change any property in the component inspector, any property it gives me error. So put the component and I change property by code in as3.
    But I'm doing things with FLVPlayback component, and now before enter the scene gives me error, the solution will be to get the original properties, but I don't remember, I could install other time Flash CS4, but I can do that for any componet, better know the solution.
    For example, I have an as file who is the class named p.e. MyMainclass, and in the scene3, I put FLVPlayback, who default values it's the last I used (I don't remember default after instalation), if any code in as3, it gives me this error:
    TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
        at com.program::MyMainClass/__setProp___id2__scene3_myvideo1_1()[com.program.MyMainClass::__ setProp___id2__scene3_myvideo1_1:7]
    I remove this component, I put another one I never used, it doesn't give me error, I change any property in the object inspector, p.e. color, it gives me error, I change to original property again, and then NO ERROR.
    Thanks in advance

    I would reccomend that you not use scenes for that purpose, not exactly sure why  but scenes are unreliable. Try putting all of your content in one scene, one timeline and just add a few stop() 's at the end of each "scene", then in your code remove scene2 and scene3 three references, and you'll possibly need to change frame anchors/targets also if you have them.
    The error indctates that you have called an object that does not exist at the time the code is run, check where you placed your code, should be frame one, scene1, and also check if you have objects entering the stage down the timeline, that do not enter in frame 1, possibly the movieClip? if so add another keyframe on your actions layer on the same frame as the object and enter the call function for it there.

  • Error when calling a Javascript function loaded as a library

    Hi All,
    I have some javascript functions in a custom js file which is in OA_HTML dir. I have loaded this js library using pageContext.putjavascriptlibrary("ABC","custom.js") in processRequest. When I deploy my code, there is a javascript error in the page. It does not seem to find the javascript function.
    My code in PR is :
    pageContext.putjavascriptlibrary("ABC","custom.js")
    someBean.setOnFocus("javascript: callFunc(this);"); //callFunc(obj) is defined in custom.js
    It works locally when I have my custom.js in myhtml directory. I am getting an error when I deploy the code on to the instance's apps server. Is there something that I am missing?
    Thanks in advance
    Raja

    Raja,
    You can bounce apache , and server cache would be refreshed!I guess then ur updated js function should work. Also,check ur js function works correctly on jdev.

  • Getting a error when Muse Website is viewed in browser:MuseJSAssert: Error calling selector function

    Every time I open any  .html  file in a browser I recieve this error message; MuseJSAssert: Error calling selector function: TypeError: Object does'nt support property or method 'museMenu'

    I have a similar problem that seems to have come up since the latest upgrade. My error is:
    "JavaScript Alert
    MuseJSAssert: Error calling selector function:SecurityError:Blocked a frame with origin "null" from accessing a cross-origin frame."
    The strange part for me is that there's no error at all when using File>Preview Page in Browser. I only get the error when I File>Export Page as HTML and then try to view the output.
    I can post a zip file of the HTML output to Adobe, but not publicly. Also, where is the Preview Page stored? If I don't get error on that, why can't I just use that as my HTML output?
    Thanks!

  • Property node standard error in functionality - odd behavior

    I am getting what I would consider unusual behavior from a property node when there is an error on the error cluster input. The Help for the VI indicates this node has Standard Error In functionality, which I interpret as if there is an error on the input then the node does not run and the error is simply passed through to the output.
    The behavior I'm getting is that the error gets passed through, but the properties of the node also get passed out with the data that was present the last time the node was called (including when it wasn't this specific node, but a different property node within the same VI that has the same property outputs).
    In Psuedo code, this is what I'm doing:
    Use Invoke node to call a method from a DLL (which sends a command to a device and gets its response).
    Pass the method reference to a property node, which then outputs the properties of the method (the response from the device).
    This works fine when everything is as it's supposed to be (device I'm communication to is connected, etc.).
    If I disconnect the device completely and then run the VI again, I get the property outputs from the previous communication out of the property node, which are obviously not valid as the device isn't even connected. This happens even if the command I sent to the device is not the same; Command1 is sent and gets valid response, disconnect device, command2 is sent and I get response for command1 from the property node of command2. Command1 and command2 are in different cases of a case structure.
    At first I thought there might be an issue with the DLL functionality (and there might be) reporting stale data, but before that is even an option it seems the property node shouldn't even be possible to have data output when the node is supposed to be bypassed entirely when an error is passed in.
    Is this supposed to happen? Am I missing something?

    Coincidentally, this week I ran into what appears to be the same behavior with the Scan from String function, and I thought of this thread.  It doesn't help solve your problem, but maybe it's useful to know that this behavior happens in other built-in functions, not just Property Nodes.  I started a new thread to look at this more generally.
