Error when restarting server

Hi all,
We are using NW6 SP5.
Lately, every time I restart the server, it start with an error page
roughly as follows:
Concurrent set model. Access to the server is limited to 10000 concurrent
seats
attempting to allocate cache of 32770k. 32768k of memory used for caching.
start "mgmtdb"
cannot open transaction log file - mgfmtdb.log is not a database
Databse server stopped.
I have to hit any key then it will start to load the modules.Somebody
advised me that this is not crucial.But, it is annoying as I can't restart
remotely and has to be physically in front of the server.

We have Messaging bridge configured with Exactly-Once QOS to read messages from IBM Websphere MQ to Weblogic distributed Queue. We are using Weblogic 10gR3.
1. We killed the weblogic server which was reading message from source destination(IBM MQ). We did this to check whether any message is lost when a server crashes.
2. Then we restarted the weblogic application server and checked the weblogic messaging bridge status.

Hi,
*The server was started in warning mode and the JTA was declared unhealthy. I saw 2 transaction alive for more than 2000 seconds which is uncommon.
*The resource adaptor was started properly.
*We are using file store. But will it make a difference?

Error when restarting ias6.5 in cluster.....

There are 2 application servers and two ldaps configured in different machines.
(i.e) 1 app server and ldap in a single machine
same configuration in different machine.
When restarting application server, some error was thrown like ,
KAS was unable to detect any engines....
and could not connect to ldap.....
I found out that both the application server was starting at the same time.
I gave a 3 minutes interval between application servers and then tried to restart the app server and it worked fine.
I want to know whether starting or restarting application servers in cluster at the same time cause problem????

We should not start both the appservers at the same when they are in cluster. Split-brain condition occurs if you start the appservers at the same time.
If you are starting them accidentally, there is a setting in cluster configuration to avoid this split-brain.
Set the AutoRestartServerForSplitPrimaries=1
You can find this key under
SOFTWARE\iPlanet\Application Server\6.5\Clusters\<Nameof Cluster>
Create one if you don't have one. This key restarts the appserver one by one if if detects split-brain.

Getting an Error When Running Server 2012 R2 adprep /forest prep on a 2012 DC

I am getting an error when running adprep /forest prep on a Server 2012 domain controller. The main parts of my domain are as follows:
2 - Domain Controllers running Server 2012
1 - Exchange Server 2013 running on Server 2012
I am trying to either do an in-place upgrade to my domain controllers to Server 2012 R2 or even introduce a Server 2012 R2 domain controller into the domain. The error I am getting is as follows:

did you check which servers has FSMO roles?
You can do that via command prompt: netdom query fsmo
For forestprep you must do that on DC which have Schema Operations marter role.
Command
Domain controller
Number of times to run the command
adprep /forestprep
Must be run on the schema operations master for the forest.
Once for the entire forest
adprep /domainprep
Must be run on the infrastructure operations master for the domain.
Once in each domain where you plan to install an additional domain controller that runs a later version of Windows Server than the latest version that is running in the domain.
Note
Domains where you will not add a new domain controller will be affected by adprep /forestprep, but they do not require you to run adprep /domainprep.

Error when starting server from NetWeaver Studio

I get the following error when i start the server from NetWeaver studio. Any reason why this error pops up.
Problem Occurred:
Startting Server - SAP Server E<24> (Time of error.....)
Reason :
JsfOpenAdmin failed: object not found.
However I can start and stop the server from the management console.

Error when restarting admin server

I'm testing clustering with WL 6.1.
          I have one machine acting as the admin server and the EJB server and a
          second machine clustered with it as another EJB server. When I restart
          the non-admin machine everything works flawlessly. When I restart the
          admin machine the other machine shows this error:

You have a problem in any of the schema files (instance_dir/config/schema), most probably 00core. Check it out.

Errors when Restarting Deployed Apps

Good afternoon and please forgive my lack on knowledge, but I am new to the Fusion middleware environment. I am working with an OBIEE setup, and I am attempting to restart all components for the "coreapplication" server. Most application deployments do restart successfully, but 3 apps (adminservice, bioffice, bisearch) do not. When I attempt to start one of these apps manually, I receive one of these errors (example is for adminservice):

Can someone help me with this please? One strange issue is that whenever I try to restart ALL apps again, some additional apps join the group which are not able to restart.

From the Weblogic failure message it is saying that there is another application which has the context roor as / which is same as the context root of the application that you are trying to start.
While this can be fixed by setting the context-root element in web.xml to something other than / for the failing application.
But the inyeresting fact is that as per the error message the conflicting applications seem to be same, adminservice AND AdminService. The only differenve being case senstive. It is very surprising why 2 apps with the same name are trying to exist in the system. This should not happen.
I would recommend that you talk to the OBIEE team to underatand why duplicate applications are being generated in the emvironment. Also paste the snippet of config file which clearly shows the applications AdminService OR aminservice and their tatgets. This imformation will also be useful to determine the root caause.

SAPBi EventsSender.exe error with restart server

Hi Experts,
I have a client who only runs standard SBO with no Add-ons. They also do not have any intergration with other systems, SBO's or R3.
When they restart their server they get a error message that relates to the 'SAPBi EventsSender.exe' file. The error says: 'The instruction at "0x6d748603" referenced memory at "0x0000000c". The memory could not be read'
Any help would be appreciated.

I am not sure if the error is referring to the SAP B1i (integration) Event Sender Service. What you can check is open the SAP Business One Service Manager and check to see if you have an option called "SAP Business One Event Sender Service". If you do and are not using SAP Business One Integration for SAP NetWeaver (B1i), make sure that the "Start when operating system starts" is not checked as well as make sure the "Enable Business One Integration Services" is also not checked.

FTP Adapter File Polling does not raise error when FTP server is down

Hi All,
Thanks in advance.
I am polling for new files in a FTP Server. However, if the server is down there is no way for me to catch the fault to notify someone. I am using fault-policies but that never gets triggered when polling an unavailable FTP Server.
One option is to have a completely separate scheduled process (SOA or not) that tries to connect to the servers but I am trying not to go that route just to keep things manageable and within the realm of the process.
I am sure that I am not the only one polling for new files in a FTP Server, so I thought to pick your brain to tackle this scenario.

I was contacted by our DBA team for an exception received while writing a file to a FTP location.
Then i looked at the exception message and asked them to check the whether they are able to contact the ftp server using command prompt then they said the user password got expired.
They reset the password and its working now.
Am i missing something here :(

Agent Desktop Error when CCM1 server fails..

hi,
I have configured IPCCX in HA environment.. so there are two CCM servers (CCM1 and CCM2) and two IPCCX servers (IPCCX1 and IPCCX2)..i have configured extension mobility service in redundant mode...I also associated the phone with RM JTAPI provider.. every thing works fine when both ccm servers are up, means agent are able to login to both phone and the agent desktop.. but when i remove the network cable of CCM1. the phone successfully login (after some delay).. but agent desktop gives the following error..

Even though i have associated the RM CM Jtapi provider with the phone... this situation only occurs when i down the ccm1 server.. if both servers are up every thing works fine.... any idea about it...

hi,
i added the ip addresses of the cucm server with the hostnames in ipccx servers on the following location and it resolved the issue.
c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc
i entered the ip of ccm and ipccx with host names in the "host" and "lmhost" files...

Permission error when WebLogic Server starts up

Dear WebLogic gurus
When I try to startup WebLogic server with 80 listening port in Solaris 2.6,
it did not startup due to permission problem.
The error log said that
Sat Dec 11 06:11:02 GMT 1999:<E> <ListenThread> **** Unable to create server
socket. Perhaps another process is using port 80.
Sat Dec 11 06:11:02 GMT 1999:<E> <ListenThread> java.net.BindException:
Permission denied
To solve this problem, I just tried to startup WebLogic with root user
because I was sure that another process did not run with port 80.
It works now but with only super user. This kind of problems did not happen
with 7001 port.
What's the reason of this ?

Hi there.. Looking at your error, it appears that you there is a web server
already running and bound to port 80. Check with your system admins to see if
you have a web server installed on port 80. Another easy way to figure out
would be a simple telnet to your server name at port 80. Try this:
$ telnet localhost (or servername) 80
GET / HTTP/1.0
If that works any returns any data, you've got a webserver running at port 80.
Work with your system admin's to turn off that running webserver and picking
another port for WebLogic.
Under UNIX, anything under port 1024 is considered a privileged port and root
would have to start the server to be able to bind to port 80. You'll also want
to enable the setUID program in weblogic.properties. Look for the following
lines in your weblogic.properties and see if they apply.
# UNIX only: If running on port 80 on UNIX, enable the setUID program
#weblogic.system.enableSetUID=false
# UNIX only: Unprivileged user to setUID to after starting up
# WebLogic Server on port 80
#weblogic.system.nonPrivUser=nobody

Get error when passing server name to Crystal Reports in Visual Studio 2012

Hello,
I work on Visual Studio 2012 with Crystal Report 13.0.12 (both developer and run-time). When I pass the name of the server to the Crystal Reports, I get an error -- Failed to open the connection. Database Vendor Code 17. I use SQL OLEDB as the provider. It worked before. Not sure what has happened.
Any help is much appreciated!!!

Urgent - Handle error when mail server is down

Hi,
Can anyone assist on how we can handle the case when the mail server is down? For instance is it going to be implemented like
exception when +???+
Or is there any other way to handle this in order not to get frm-error in oracle forms?

I think OP's problem doesn't related with FORMS. He should CATCH that error code and return normal readable error to user
Moreover, I advice to OP to read briefly documentation related with [UTL_SMTP |http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/appdev.102/b14258/u_smtp.htm#CHDCFFDI] package
And also to take a look at default [Exceptions |http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/appdev.102/b14258/u_smtp.htm#i1006659] which can be raised when using UTL_SMTP package
