Error when trying to create a types jar from a web service WSDL
Hi,
I generated a WSDL from a web service. When I try to generate a types jar from that WSDL in another project, I get an error:

I was previously able to generate a types jar just fine from the web service's WSDL. Recently, I made some changes to the web service. Apparently, these changes to the web service now cause the WSDL to be unparseable when trying to generate types jars.
Any ideas?
The WSDL is generated from my web service. I made heavy revisions to my web service which, in turn, affected the resultant WSDL. The changes I made to my web service were almost exclusively related to object substitution. For example, prior to the change I was referencing object A from my web service; after the change, I was referencing object B. The objects that I'm referring to are XMLBeans, if that matters. I can't really describe it more than that without actually showing you the WSDL.
I would post the WSDL file here to allow you to try to create a types jar out of it, but the WSDL exceeds the 30000 character limit for this field. There is no way for me to attach the WSDL to this post.

I did some research and found a forum thread that recommend a fix via the Font Folders in Distiller (https://forums.adobe.com/thread/720988). However, these setting changes did not solve the issue. Attached is a view of my current Font Folder settings.

InstantiationException when trying to reference an external jar in my web service sample
Dear all,
I'm working with Weblogic 6.1 SP3 (on NT platform) and, starting from weather
weblogic web service sample, I'm trying to build my first web service sample.
I developed a simple EJB (called OrderManager) that exposes the following functionalities
in its remote:
import com.bosslab.abs.beb.sci.ServiceHeaderVO;
public interface OrderManager extends EJBObject {
public OrderManagerServiceResponseVO
submitOrder(
ServiceHeaderVO header,
OrderManagerServiceVO data) throws Throwable;
the ServiceHeaderVO interface is in another package and it is included in an external
Beb.jar.
This Beb.jar is located under serverclasses in mydomain directory and it is included
in the classpath set in startWeblogic.cmd.
Using wsgen weblogic task & ant I created my WSOrderManager.ear and I deployed
it.
Now no problem testing the EJB (OrderManager) with a simple client (in order to
verify that classpath is correct and also the EJB is running properly).
Also no problem pointing out to this URL "http://localhost:7011/ordermanager/com.bosslab.abs.mediator.OrderManager/com.bosslab.abs.mediator.OrderManager.wsdl"
to see the WSDL of my web service.
But when I run the web service client I got the following error:
Exception in thread "main" ------------- Remote Stack Trace ------------

It seems that there is a problem to instantiate the com.bosslab.abs.beb.sci.ServiceHeaderVO
class included in the Beb.jar, so I thought the problem was related to the classpath
setting, maybe Beb.jar is not set properly in some place ...
To try solving this problem I did these steps:
-> exploded my WSOrderManager.ear
-> created a lib directory and put into it the Beb.jar
so now the ear structure is:
lib/Beb.jar
MediatorOrderManager.jar
META-INF
web-services.war
-> modified the application.xml, adding:
<module>
<java>lib/Beb.jar</java>
</module>
-> modified the Manifest.mf, adding:
Manifest-Version: 1.0
Created-By: 1.3.1_03 (Sun Microsystems Inc.)
Class-Path: lib/Beb.jar
-> regenerate the WSOrderManager.ear
jar cvf WSOrderManager.ear lib MediatorOrderManager.jar ...
-> and redeployed the ear
But after stopping/starting my instance, I got yet the same error when I run my
client.
Could you please help me to understand how solving this problem ?
I thank you in advance

AndyHi Andrew,
Try replacing this line:
odel.Lines.BaseLine = lineno - 1
with this:
odel.Lines.BaseLine = oorder.Lines.LineNum

Getting 404 error when trying to create a powerview report from a BISM (SharePoint 2013)
When clicking on the BISM file, I would get a 404 FILE NOT FOUND.
But when I go through the menu of the BISM file and click on Create Power View Report, it will works, but not when i left click on the file. Please help. Thank you.Hi,
According to your description, you have a .bism file in your library, when you left click it, a 404 error would be thrown. However, when you use the context menu of it to do
the same job, it works without error.
As you can create a Power View Report with this file successfully, the file would be ok.
Please check that whether the library you use had been modified.
You can also create a new Document Library and do the test there in case it is a library issue.
Feel free to reply with the test result if the issue still exists.
Best regards
Patrick Liang

Based on the error message, please check whether you have installed the spPowerPivot.msi add-in on each of your SharePoint server, and ran the configuration wizard, make sure that the powerpivotwebapplicationsolution.wsp
is deployed correctly.
Thanks,

Have you configured your SLD? Check JCO Destination error out or search for "com.sap.tc.webdynpro.serverimpl.wdc.sl.SystemLandscapeFactory.checkStatus" in the SDN forums.

logs can be read from nwa, if you hv the relevant access or get portal admin to pass the defaulttrace file to you. Login to nwa, navigate to Monitoring-Logs and traces and select (either default trace or last 24hrs) to view the logs. hope this helps

Solution to stop error when trying to create a portfolio
Hi all,
I finally found a way to make a portfolio in acrobat pro 9. The problems I was having were explained in the thread titled "Acrobat pro 9 has a stop error when trying to create a portfoloi"
It seems ther is another way to do this, by selecting 'combine' and then 'merge files into a single pdf' rather than 'assemble pdf portfolio'.
The merge option also gives the choice of making a pdf package and does not result in a stop error with authplay.dll.
So much for Adobe support who conuld not tell me this or respond to support requests.
All I have to do now is to remember to not click on 'assemble pdf portfolio' when I want to assemble a pdf portfolio but "merge files into a single pdf" when I want to assemble a pdf portfolio.
I would still like to hear from Adobe why acrobat pro 9 has a stop error with authplay.dll.
I feel a lot happier now.I read through the pdf wth your emails to/from customer support. I'll have to defer to someone else because it seems you have tried what I would suggest.
If someone else does not respond with a better plan and you are willing to spend a bit more time before writing off Acrobat 9, I would try the process below one last time. (If you are using a CS suite, while authplay.dll is found in each of the directories, it does not appear that the issue extends to the other programs.)
1. Using Add/Remove Programs, uninstall all Adobe Acrobat and Reader software and uninstall the Adobe Flash Player Active X and Adobe Flash Player Plugin. If you have it, uninstall Adobe Air.
2. In C:\Documents and Settings\(your profile name)\Application Data\Adobe, delete the Acrobat and Adobe PDF folders if they still exist.
3. Reinstall only Acrobat 9.
4. From Acrobat, run the updater Help > Check for Updates and install all updates.
5. Verify Adobe Acrobat is now version 9.2: Help > About Adobe Acrobat Pro (If for any reason it is not 9.2, use the update on http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows
6. Test

While searching for a solution, I just saw your post over at acrobatusers.com (http://www.acrobatusers.com/forums/aucbb/viewtopic.php?id=15765). Looks like my advice was largely a duplicate, although your event log indicates Acrobat did not update properly. -
500 internal server error when trying to create users
I am getting a 500 internal server error when trying to create users. What is the cause? We tried reinstalling the latest java jdk release and that didn't help.
Check whether your DBControl or ASControl service is still running or crashed. EM is not able to connect to the Management Server.
For instance in Windows, you may see that the Servise is not started. Then check for error logs in $ORACLE_HOME/sysman/logs for any related error messages in the log files -

"The list of workflow actions on the server references an assembly that does not exist. Some actions will not be available. The assembly is Microsoft.SharePoint, Version=14.0.0.0 ..."
Using an XP pc and 32bit designer user able to create workflow. We have to use 32 bit designer as we have Office 2010 32 bit for compatiblility reasons
Any ideas on how to resolve?Hi Nick, check out this link for possible solutions:
