Error when uploading data.

hi guys,
when uploading data using customer datasource 2lis_01_s001..
i got the following error.
<b>Update ( 0 new / 0 changed ) : Errors occurred
Data records for package 1 selected in PSA - 1 error(s)
Record 1 :No SID found for value 'ST ' of characteristic 0BASE_UOM</b>
tel me what can be the error...how to solve it..
got the data in PSA.

Hi
Go to SE38 use program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL.
fill the necessary details required like Infousource and source system name.
after filling in all the details press execute.
Now after this is successful go to DS and replicate it and try loading data once again now after deletion of prev unsuccessful req

If you are actually creating a BDC to load data pls be more specific.
Data format incorrect. Tab delimited/ etc
Dates in wrong formats
Currency incorrect formats
Missing screens
Wrong transaction code
File not found,
Missing Mandatory fields,
Screen resoultion.
You should always use refresh for your Bdcdata table.
Loop at internal table.
refresh Bdcdata.

I am using ADF Desktop Integration for create 1 application.
I have 1 ADF Table and 1 upload button for upload data in Integrated Excel file.
First, when load file, data are loaded into Excel file.
when I edit data in table and click upload button then Exception raise as follow:

I am uplading data from Flat file.
When I am uploading it gives an error
An error occurred in record 1 during execution of conversion exit CONVERSION_EXIT_CUNIT_INPUT for field UNIT.

I have created a gereic datasrc using view & i took the following fields
MATNR     Material
WERKS     Plant
PBDNR     Req.plan number
BDZEI     Reqmts pointer
LAEDA     Last change
MEINS     Base Unit
FIXMG     Planned qty
In the transfer rules of BW the system gave mapping only for LAEDA Last changewith the infoobj 0CH_ON,so I took 0mat infoobj formapping with Matnr
0plant for werks & created ZpBDNR,ZBDZEI for PBDNR BDZEI & for FIXMG i mapped with the infoobj 0PRDPLN_QTY
In the monitor screen it is showing me 0 records with status yellow then I went to the job overview it is giving me the following msg in job overview

Did you created Logical system also? If not you have to create logical system and assign it to ur source system.
If u on BW3.5 system:
Tcode SPRO->ref Img->SAP NetWeaver->SAP BI->Links to other systems->define logical system. (not sure abt path...but it must be somehow similar to this only)

Hi,
There might be two reasons..
1. In your flat file you have data in lower case .. if you want upper case data also just make change in IO to allow lower case data also..
2. Close the flat file while loading data...

DB Connect Load - "Unknow error while uploading data from the DB Table"

Hi Experts,
We have our BI7 system connected to Oracle DB based third party tool. The loads are performing quite well in DEV environment.
I would like to know, how we transport DB Connect datasources to Quality systems? Any different process to be followed for DB Connect datasources?
At present the connections between BI Quality and the third party quality systems are established. We transported the DataSource from BI DEV system to BI quality system, but on trigerring an infopackage we are not able to perform loads. It prompts - "Unknow error while uploading data from the DB Table".
Also on comparing the DataSources in DEV system and Quality system there are no fields in "Proposal" tab of datasource in Quality system. Also I cannot change or activate Datasource in Quality system as we dont have change access in quality.
Please advice.

Sorry for bumping an old thread ....
Did this issue get ever get resolved?
I am facing the same one. The loads work successfully in Dev. The transport for DBConnect DS also moved in successfully.
One strange this is that DB User for dev did not automatically change to db user from quality when I transported the DBConnect datasource. DBCon DS still shows me the DB User from Dev in Quality system
I get "Unknown Error" whenever I trigger the data package.

No suitable driver error when upload a pdf

We are going to develop our own packaging tool which can provide convenient service for Adobe Content Server.
Before we begin on this project, we use the java sample console program which is called UploadTest to find out
how to interact with Adobe Content Server.
However, when we use the UploadTest jar tool to package a PDF to Adobe Content Server and send our request
successfully, the server always response a error as below with “httpStatus:200 " and “contentType:application/vnd.adobe.adept+xml”:

Other details:
(1)I am in Guangzhou China now ,but the server is in the charge of our USA Team in American.

I am getting the error 'NiRawReadError: An error occured when reading data from socket.' when using the ABAP API 'mo_core_service->invoke_matching'.
And I get this error only when I pass ABAP_TRUE to the paramter 'iv_wait_for_invocation' .

Got an error when extracting data with extractor 2lis_04_matnr.
System says (short dump):

Error when attempting to import object "MC04P_0MAT_TAB".
The current ABAP program "SAPLMCEX" had to be terminated because one of the statements could not be executed. This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program. When attempting to import data, it was discovered that the data type of the stored data was not the same as that specified in the program.
An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below. The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_IMPORT_MISMATCH_ERROR', was neither caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure "MCEX_BW_LO_API" "(FUNCTION)".
Since the caller of the procedure could not have expected this exception
to occur, the running program was terminated.
The reason for the exception is: When importing the object "MC04P_0MAT_TAB", the component no. 5 in the dataset has a different type from the corresponding component of the target object in the program "SAPLMCEX". <b>The data type is "D" in the dataset, but "C" in the program.</b>

Check this note: 328181
So you need to delete entries in SM13/LBWQ for application and also detup table content.
And then refill teh set up table.
If you are in production clear the entries by running collective run no of times for this application 04.

Experiencing "timed out" error when uploading podcast

I am experiencing a "timed out" error when uploading a podcast to iTunes. Using PC. I've updated iTunes...

- You really need to ask the Basis team to extend the maximum run time for background processes (30 mins is too short).
- You can also try to reduce the run time by setting up BOM Buffering in configuration so if the same BOM is used again and again (in your case of delete and recreate planned order, yes), it will read from memory.
- You should set the planning horizon and use NETPL (net change in planning horizon) in daily run. So that the run will only find the relevant changes in order proposal up to certain days, thus reduce run time.
- You should discuss with your BASIS team about the list of background job in the batch windows. Specify time in such a way that the performance-critical job (i.e., MRP, reschedule sales order, certain customized report, etc.) doesn't run at the same time.
- You can increase the number of parallel processes to issue several jobs to run MRP at the same time.

IR webclient: error when uncompressing data retrieved: *Data Error*!

A small (?) number of IR webclient 931 installations we notice the next error when processing: " error when uncompressing data retrieved: *Data Error*! " It does not seem to be user or permission/provision related.
Does anyone have an idea how to solve it. Reinstalling the IR webclient does not solve it.

Hi there, I got to the point where I found the cause, but now I still need to solve it. perhaps anyone can give me a hint.
931 bqy's are stored on server as zip files. (although they are renamed as *.1) On 832 they were stored as bqy files (although they were renamed to *.1 too).
The clients which had the error message tried to open their 931 documents with the 832 plugin. Which does not have the capebility to uncompress the .1 file. In that perspective is the error message very obvious.
We need to run both 832 intelligence plugin and the 931 webclient on the same client.
How can we force that the corrcet version is used for openeing the docs?

Hi All,
   i have scheduled info package for different type data sources in bi 7.0, for this i am getting the data from ecc 6.0 . all of this schedule's showing the status "error when sending data request" with the following details.
status
diagnosis
the request idoc could not be sent to the source system using rfc
system response
there is an idoc in the warehouse outbox that did not arrive in the ale inbox of the source system
in step by step analysis it is showing
   rfc to source system successful showing with ash status
   data selection successfully stated and finished ? show with red status
in that details tab
request : showing with green status
everything ok
extraction :showing with red status
missing messages
transfer(idocs and trfc) : missing messeges
processing(data packet) : no data
    it is showing technical status with red as processing overdue
                       processing step call to source system
   so it is showing error with 0 from 0 records.
please any body could help me for solving this error.

Hi
Seems you have connectivity issues between the Source system and Bi system.
You need to check whether you have data on R/3 side via RSA3 with Full / Delta Update Modes with Target System as your BI system.
RSA13--Source System -- Right click Connection parameters/check/Restore/Activate again Say Replicate All Data Sources (If Possible , provided if you have time because it consumes lot of time )
You need to check the tRFC Queue SM58/59 for any Stucks and WE19/20 for IDocs.
Much of BASIS Issue .

Hello Gurus,
            I am getting a error when I try to create a extract using RSCRM_BAPI using Process Chain.
            I created a job and used that in the Process Chain, Once I run the Process Chain it is executing and
           the job is deleted and the extract gives me this error in the Monitor.
            Error Message - Error when getting data (RSDRI_CUBE_READ)
            If I run manually I am able to see the extracted records.
            Please help.

"Unknown error when executing MDX" is msg number BRAINOLAPAPI012.
Check out these 3 SAP notes:
1091523 MDX: System error in connection with named sets
1252372 OLE DB for OLAP: Additional corrctions for new MDX parser
1282785 MDX: System error "Invalid MDX command with <internal>
Also test in transaction MDXTEST to see if your statements are syntactically correct.
