Error while calling a webservice from ABAP system
Hi All,
I have generated a proxy for the webservice that is there in a Java system.
Iam getting the following error when I make a method call of that generated proxy.
SOAP:1.026 SRT: HTTP-Code 500: ("Internal Server Error").
Does anybody has any idea why is this happening?
Thank You,
Suresh.
Hi Sridhar,
It is active and it was working fine. It suddendly started giving this error. Do you think if there is any possibility that there would be something wrong in the system where webservice is lying?
Thank You,
Suresh.

Error while calling PI webservice from EJB
Hi Experts,
We are getting exception while calling PI webservice from EJB which is deployed in CE 7.2. Earlier we used to call the same webservice but from different PI system at that it worked fine. Now we have changed the consumer proxies required in CE and tried to call from CE and it is throwing error. We have checked usernames and passwords that we are using to call the service and that is working fine. PI team tested from their side and li is also fine. We have also restarted the CE system but invain. Can somebody help on this. The below is the trace that we got.

this looks like if the server is not reachable. Have you checked if both server are able to communicate? Maybe firewall rules block the request.

Error while calling java program from ABAP
Hi Experts,
We are trying for RFC inbound scenario.
We followed the below blog
/people/gregor.wolf3/blog/2004/08/26/setup-and-test-sap-java-connector-outbound-connection
We are working with SAP JCO 3.0.2
We are getting the error : 'STFC_CONNECTION' could not be found in the server repository.
After I run the Java server program if I execute the RFC destination directly from SM 59 it is showing successful messages.
If I stop the java program then this RFC is failing. Based on this we concluded that RFC to Java connection is working fine.
But as mentioned in blog if we call the RFC Destination from ABAP program it is giving the below error,
'STFC_CONNECTION' could not be found in the server repository.
If we test the RFC destination using RFC_TRUSTED_CHECK standard FM we are getting the below error.
'RFCPING' could not be found in the server repository.
We create the RFC destination of Type : TCP/IP as exactly mention in the blog.
Please help us in resolving this issue.
Thanks
PrincePabi,
Using the RFC connection,we can establish a link between Java and SAP.
Afterwards,hope we can call Java program from ABAP.
Below is the sample piece of code to establish RFC connection(link) between Java and SAP.

Error in Calling a Webservice from ABAP: Consumer
Hi
We are reaching a webservice within the same network Zone and have have done the configuration in SOAMANAGER - WebService URL, Port, Operations are defined and the service is active. The logical port is define and an automatic SM59 destination is created in the System as well and works fine.
While trying to call the Class with the appropriate Method it creates an Exception and on logging within SOAMANAGER or ST11 we get the below error. Not sure how to resolve this as webservice is running fine and it seems a problem in reaching to the service. Neither any Payload is visible in SOAMANAGER Log.

//SwetankHi,
what does the service?
XString listens to binary data.... With services you exchange xml messages (SOAP)... -> String
Maybe you have to convert your binary data into string?
I have created an email service... the attachments must be converted into a base64-String that a service can handle this issue.

Error while calling a Webservice from a custom findBy operation
Hello
I have created an External Service by importing a WebService(XI) which is a wrapper for BAPI BAPI_VENDOR_GETDETAIL. Tested the webservice and it works fine.
I created an Entity Service Vendor and created 4 attributes vendorNo and companyCode, vendorName and city. I created an operation findByVendorNo then did the mapping with the webservice output.
Now when I execute, I get the following error. Tried debugging but there is no source code for the class in which this error is coming from.
Any help is appreciated.

Shubham

Edited by: user13514455 on Jun 13, 2011 8:35 AMWe resolved this problem for the same version of JDeveloper in the WebLogic Console. In the Domain Structure / Evironment / Servers / Settings for Default Server, click the Configuration and SSL tabs. Then change Hostname Verification to None and check the Use JSSE SSL box at the bottom.

could you check the URL manually whether its reachable if so what is its status ?
Once did this check whether there any parameters its expecting and missing.

Error While Consuming the webservice in ABAP
Hi,
I am trying to consume a webservice in ECC. I have imported the WSDL and generated the proxy. Did the configuration in the SOAMANAGER. While calling the webservice from the program I am getting the following error message. "SRT: Unsupported xstream found: ("HTTP Code 400 : Bad Request")"
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Raghavendra KuamrHi,
Check ST11 to find detailed log of issue, most likely you are passing "WS-A" message id along with request (check settings in SOAMANAGER Logical Port).
Try calling service after suppressing "Message Id transfer". See SAP Note: 1361688 and related notes in 0001292171

String passwordVal = (String)password.getValue();

SatyaHi vlsn,
Can you try with the below code
// in your backing bean
OperationBinding operation = bindings.getOperationBinding("verifyLogin");
//Put your both parameters here
operation.getParamsMap().put("parameter_name1", parameterValue1);
operation.getParamsMap().put("parameter_name2", parameterValue2);
operation.execute();
if (operation.getResult() != null) {
Boolean result = (Boolean) operation.getResult();
and share the result.

Error while calling BI Publisher from Forms 10g using Webservice - Urgent !
Hi,
I am calling a BI Publisher(10.1.3.4.1) webservice from the Forms 10g (10.1.2.0.2). I developed a jar file which works fine when I run from the Jdeveloper. I have successfully attached jar file to the Forms 10g but when I am calling from the when-button-pressed trigger I am getting beow error
Exception: java.lang.Exception: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: oracle.j2ee.ws.saaj.client.p2p.HttpSOAPConnection.setPreemptiveBasicAuth(Z)V
Thanks in advanceWhat steps did you follow to successfully attached jar file to the Forms 10g? To me, it sounds like you don't have your .jar file configured with Forms Builder and/or your App Server. Your .jar file needs to be added to the FORMS_CLASS_PATH in the default.env and the FORMS_CLASS_PATH registry entry. You will likely need to modify the formsweb.cfg also to include your .jar in the archive= or archive_jini= variables (depending on your JRE [Jinitiator or Sun JRE respectively]).
It could also be a dependency on an additional Java library. Is "setPreemptiveBasicAuth" a method that you created or it is a dependent method from an additional library?
Let us know this; as well as which Java version you're using.
By the way, with respects to your "Urgent!" request. You have to understand that forum contributers are purely voluntary - this is not our full-time job. If your issue is truely urgent, it is always best to open a Service Request (SR) with Oracle Support than to rely on the forum for an urgent reply! ;-)
Hope this helps,
