Error while collecting Custom FlatFile related InfoCubes in CTS

Hi,
I am getting the error while collecting the FlatFile related custom InfoCube that the cube is not in the version A. I did checked that the cube is in the Active version i.e. Revised Version = Active Version; Object Status = Active, executable.
Any idea how to resovle this issue ?
Here is the information on the error message.....
Object 'PPY_C101' (CUBE) of type 'InfoCube' is not available in version 'A'
Message no. RSO252
Diagnosis
You wanted to generate an object with the name 'PPY_C101' (in transport request CUBE) of type 'InfoCube' (TLOGO). This is, however, not available in the BW Repository database. It does not exist in the requested version A. If the version is 'D' then it is possible that an error arose during the delivery or installation. If the version is 'A' then the Object was either not created or not activated.
System Response
The object was not taken into account in the next stage of processing.

After BI SP16 Upgrade, we noticed that data load to a cube with DTP (7X DS) with partioning active, it would error out saying, "Error while updating to target " " type INFOCUBE....we applied note '1148007' and did reactivation of related structures and objects but still same error....As soon as we deactivate partioning, data load would go thru easily and successfully but we want to have partioning "Active"......I was wondering if anybody ran into this issue and get it resolved...Any help or helpful hints would be appreciated...

I am creating Customer Account Sites using the TCA API from Toad.

Hi Gurus,
I am getting an error while collecting my process chain in a tranpsort request.I have to transport the request from DEV to QA system.
When in RSA1--->transport connection i drag & drop the chain from left to right side pane then the Error occurs.

i though it was the problem of patch level sap note(966131).
Accordingly i tried collecting process chain in the request where the patch level is high(24).But same error is seen.
I have activated chain again & then tried collecting the request i the process chain.But did not solve the error.
I have to collect Process chain in a transport request.Can you help me out to solve the problem?

1)While compiling the custom forms through Form builder the forms compile successfully & opens also but doesn't close.All other form than custom form close completely.How was this form created? Did you use the TEMPLATE.fmb file to create this custom form?

Error while activating transformation for a infocube.

hi experts,
This is Lalitha.I am new to BI7.
I am trying to load data from flatfile into infocube.I have loaded master data successfully.while creating datasource for transactional data i am getting warning :External length specification will be ignored.
Even then I was able to load data into PSA.Now i am trying to create transformation for the infocube, but I am getting a error :Conversion type missing
and Field /BIC/IO_PRC9 must be assigned to an InfoObject
I have mentioned the infoObjects for datasource in the fields tab.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi,
Some times we have to assign manually as system does not create automatically 1:1 rule in some cases which i don't know.
Click on = at transformation and you will get the window, Under assign objects you can assign required fields to target field. this will clear your second error.
For first error -
If conversion type is missed for Price object. - Did you create the Price KF with Fixed currency or 0currency. if it is 0currency, in source system you should have one extra field with the units for Price field. As per iam concerned, If it is fixed currency it should activate - delete that particular transformation and recreate it.
Thats what i used to do. i got the result.

Error while connecting Customer with vendor in XK02.

While entering customer in control view of vendor master record in Tcode XK02,
System prompts an error msg. as "Please enter an address number".
Please guide me to solve this.

If you maintained your VMR (Vendor master data ) properly...then pls check the custormer related fied selection in the OB20....here in the general settings....pls check whether the address is mandatory or not...if yes, then make it optional and then try...
Do it for customer centrally...
Also check the trasaction code OMSX, for vendor, check for the define screen layouts for trasactional data....here in the general data...check whether the fiscal address is mandatory or not....

Error while transporting custom datasource

Hi All,
Below is the scenario that was carried out in my project.
1. Created OHD to load data from a CUBE to Data base Table /BIC/ABC.
2. Created a custom Datasource ZABC_TEST with the above table.
3. Activated the DataSource and loaded the data. (Data load successfull. It works fine).
4. Tried transporting the above. But trows error while transporting the data source.
Error -- InfoSource ZABC_TEST is not available in source system BITST.
Let me know what can be done to solve the above error. Please suggest if i have missed out something.

HI,
The problem seems to be occuring since you are transporting both OHD and DS in the same TR request.
Transport first the DS in a request, then in another request transport the OHD.
This should resolve the issue.

Error while creating customer

While creating customer from AR responsibility, I am getting an error while clicking "details" tab for "Ship to"
error I am getting are
1. The data that defines the flexfield on this field may be inconsistent. any idea why is it coming, I checked Operating unit profile option i.e MO: Op Unit and MO: Sec. , all are fine.

The error is occuring because Oracle is trying to validate/set a DFF.
Check the DFF attached to the customer entity, address entity or site use entity.
Especially look at the value sets attached to the DFF.
Look at the value set definition and the default value for the field.

As per the error, you may be using an SPWeb object which has been disposed already.
I am not sure how you are calling SPWeb object, i can only guess that you are using an Using statement within your code and could be disposing SPContext object, if so, try refactoring your code.
if would be better if you can put your code in this forum to suggest.

XD01 assertion failed error while updating customer master data

Hi Guys,
This is an error when I use transaction XD01 to create customers accounts, If you have any ideas do let me and we'll try it....
The error does not let an BDC or LSMW progress as well. There are also no recent sap notes on the same.
The error is as follow
ASSERTION_FAILED
Short text
The ASSERT condition was violated.
What happened?
In the running application program, the ASSERT statement recognized a
situation that should not have occurred.
The runtime error was triggered for one of these reasons:
- For the checkpoint group specified with the ASSERT statement, the
activation mode is set to "abort".
- Via a system variant, the activation mode is globally set to "abort"
for checkpoint groups in this system.
- The activation mode is set to "abort" on program level.
- The ASSERT statement is not assigned to any checkpoint group.
What can you do?
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
Error analysis
The following checkpoint group was used: "No checkpoint group specified"
If in the ASSERT statement the addition FIELDS was used, you can find

I have a company code CG01 with sales organization CTS0 and I want to transfer or extend all the customer master data to another company code CG03 with the sales organization CTS0
The things that I have tried and not work
using xd01, fd15, fd16, fd01, does not wok and gives the error as above
The things that I have tried and it works
Change the sales organization from CTS0 to CTS1 I am able to post the customer master data, using any of the above tcodes and it does not give any error, however the client wants to sales organization to remain CTS0
So please give me any ideas as per your experience as this transfer of master data has to happen by Monday, else I'll be fried by my boss

I dont see any other method than removing the assignments in the backend and uploading the data. You can consult a Basis person to find the change logs for the assignment table. In my opinion, removing the sales organization from a company code assignment just for loading a customer master data and then reassigning to original sales org is a crooked method and/or not a professional method.

The custom API holds the signature as:

dear sir,
i have created customer master and maintined all level general,compnay code and sales level data.and again deleted all areas thru t-code XD06.and thru se16n i have deleted the entires in kna1 knb1 knvv table
again while creating one with same name showing error while maintaing sales level data
Check: Table KNA1 does not exist, table KNVI does

plz help how do i rectify this problem and maintain the same cutomer no (external) again.

Hi,
you did the wrong thing, don't remove the entries from standard table like KNA1, KNVV etc, SAP will maintained the entries in lot of tables same time.
XD06 is used to set delete indicator, after wards you may create new customer master, if any problem for name you may change the name field as 'delete' for old customer.
Now to solve your issue, i believe you need to first save the entries with maintainace of general data (KNA1) and then use XD02 to maintain the Sales area data, pl try this way it should work.
If this way will not work, pl maintain the tax indicator in table KNVI manually to solve the issue.
